The prophet Isaiah was called by God in a cataclysmic demonstration of the literal awesome majesty and splendour of His Presence.

This Divine visitation caused a total meltdown in Isaiah and caused him to do an instant introspection of his spiritual condition and pronounce his own uncleanness and the uncleanness of the people among whom he dwelt.

Isaiah made a significant prophesy that is noteworthy : that before the manifestation of Christ and His Kingdom on the earth, God will judge the idolatry and apostasy of His people, and that He would allow the Assyrians as His chosen instrument to inflict His judgement upon them in order to bring His people back to Him; just as He allowed the Medianites to torment His people.

Even as we are presently declaring the protocols of the Kingdom of God and we earnestly seek the manifestation of a Kingdom culture – the scriptures declare that God will engage in a purging of foreign ideologies and technologies that are counter productive to the manifestation of a culture that emerges from the Word of God.

Like with the prophet Jeremiah, there has to be a rooting out and a pulling down, a destruction and throwing down of patterns that present a barrier to the manifestation of a Godly culture.

Isaiah 7:13 Then he said, “Hear now, O house of David! Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. 15 Curds and honey He shall eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good. 16 For before the Child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land that you dread will be forsaken by both her kings. 17 The LORD will bring the king of Assyria upon you and your people and your father’s house—days that have not come since the day that Ephraim departed from Judah.”

Isaiah 10:1111 As I have done to Samaria and her idols, Shall I not do also to Jerusalem and her idols?’ ”

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE

Although the Assyrians were the “chosen instrument by God to discipline and punish His apostate people, the Assyrians must not forget that God will judge the excesses of the arrogance and the brutality of the Assyrian regime. The fruit of the arrogance of the Assyrian heart is public bullying, scorning, mocking, insulting, threatening, ridicule and the humiliation of God’s people (2 Kings 18:19-35)

Isaiah was clear when he declared this :

Isaiah 10:12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Lord has performed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, that He will say, “I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his haughty looks.”

When God’s people are subject to brutal and humiliating treatment, do not expect God to remain silent; more importantly, do not expect His spokesman Isaiah to remain silent.

Isaiah was God’s chosen conduit to carry instructions to God’s people at that point in history.

We must firstly understand the nature of God’s covenant with His people. God dwells in and among His people. Believers are required to worship Him and obey the laws and commands that He has given us through His Word. The benefits of remaining faithful to this covenant would include among others, security, peace and prosperity. God is committed to maintaining the integrity of His side of the covenant.

Listen to the lamentation of Isaiah concerning the state of the relationship between the people and God :

Isaiah 24:5 The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, Because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, Broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, And those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, And few men are left.

The Assyrians, having conquered Israel and the outlying fortified cities of Judah, are now positioned at the door of Judah. This situation is the consequence of being unfaithful in keeping Divine agreements and the Law.

Instead of repentance and turning their hearts from their wicked ways back to the demands of the Word of God, the people of God sought alternative alliances, not sanctioned by God, as places of refuge.

In doing this God’s people are guilty of allowing the leaven of foreign alternative ideologies to infiltrate the culture of God’s people. Remember that the Assyrian people and their kings have an unshakeable covenant with their god Assur, the god of war. * I strongly recommend a study of the worship of this god Assur

Although we determined that God was the One responsible for allowing the Assyrian invasion, the Assyrians must be very careful not to push God’s people beyond their ability to endure. God’s testings, when lessons are learned, are always followed by reconciliation and restoration. The Assyrians do not know this. They are oblivious to the fact that it is the God of Israel who is the architect of this invasion.

Please understand that when we refer to God’s laws, we refer to God’s Word

Isaiah prophesied ……. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Obedience to God’s laws attracts His Divine protection. Also concerning the natural, Paul would say that rulers are not a terror to good works. Recently during the civil unrest, at the height of all the looting and violence and murders, the people were demanding law and order; they demanded urgent and immediate police and military intervention.

We should not clamor for Law and order only during crises; it must be factored into our culture; in fact the Word of God (Jesus) must be the firm foundation of our culture.

We see current events unfold in Afghanistan where the country has been captured by the Taliban. After the terrorist attacks against the US in 9/11, the government of Afghanistan and its infrastructure was provided security by NATO troops and the Allied Forces. When the foreign governments entered into agreements to withdraw their troops in May this year, the security of the nation was compromised and the beleaguered nation became vulnerable to a take over.

The absence of our adherence to laws, commands, statutes and ordinances will also place God’s people in a position of great vulnerability.

These principles apply to anything we may be building. Careers, family, ministry, business, etc. Isaiah lamented that there are a “few men left”. This is representative of the remnant of God’s people who, whilst functioning in the midst of an “uncleanness/worldly culture”, they choose to steadfastly be wholly reliant and dependant on God and His Word for their survival because their lips have been touched by a “burning coal” that has removed their iniquities and purged their sins.

The “few men” that Isaiah speaks about have today grown into a first fruit company.

O profeta Isaías foi chamado por Deus em uma demonstração cataclísmica da impressionante majestade e esplendor literal de Sua Presença.

Esta visitação divina causou um colapso total em Isaías e fez com que ele fizesse uma introspecção instantânea de sua condição espiritual e declarasse sua própria impureza e a impureza das pessoas entre as quais ele morava.

ISTO É MUITO IMPORTANTE OBSERVAR

Embora os assírios tenham sido o “instrumento escolhido por Deus para disciplinar e punir Seu povo apóstata”, os assírios não devem esquecer que Deus julgará os excessos da arrogância e da brutalidade do regime assírio. O fruto da arrogância do coração assírio é o bullying público, o escárnio, a zombaria, o insulto, a ameaça, o ridículo e a humilhação do povo de Deus (2 Reis 18:19-35).

Isaías foi claro quando declarou o seguinte:

Isaías 10:12 Quando o Senhor terminar toda a sua obra contra o monte Sião e contra Jerusalém, ele dirá: “Castigarei o rei da Assíria pelo orgulho obstinado de seu coração e pelo seu olhar arrogante.

Isaías profetizou ……. Porque de Sião sairá a lei, e a palavra do Senhor de Jerusalém.

A obediência às leis de Deus atrai Sua proteção divina. Também com relação ao natural, Paulo diria que os governantes não são um terror para as boas obras. Recentemente, durante a agitação civil, no auge de todos os saques, violência e assassinatos, o povo exigia lei e ordem; exigiam intervenção policial e militar urgente e imediata.

Não devemos clamar por Lei e ordem apenas durante as crises; deve ser considerado em nossa cultura; na verdade, a Palavra de Deus (Jesus) deve ser o alicerce firme de nossa cultura.

Vemos eventos atuais se desenrolando no Afeganistão, onde o país foi capturado pelo Talibã. Após os ataques terroristas contra os EUA em 11 de setembro, o governo do Afeganistão e sua infraestrutura receberam segurança das tropas da OTAN e das Forças Aliadas. Quando os governos estrangeiros firmaram acordos para retirar suas tropas em maio deste ano, a segurança da nação foi comprometida e a nação sitiada tornou-se vulnerável a uma tomada de controle.

A ausência de nossa adesão às leis, mandamentos, estatutos e ordenanças também colocará o povo de Deus em uma posição de grande vulnerabilidade.

Esses princípios se aplicam a qualquer coisa que estejamos construindo. Carreiras, família, ministério, negócios, etc. Isaías lamentou que haja “alguns homens restantes”. When the body of believers is spiritually seated in an elevated position with Christ – this spiritual location is far above principalities and powers, might and dominion, and every name that is named.

The challenge to His church is to manifest practically this position on the earth – There is a demand from the heavens on His Body of believers on the earth to vociferously resist the spirits that Christ has already placed under His feet. Leaders must continue to unapologetically teach the truth of God’s Word.

For this culture to emerge we must accept the need for vigorous discourse and dialogue where it will be profitable to accommodate the spirit of dissent.

Dissenting against an emerging counter culture that disregards the Word of God is NOT rebellion; dissenting against voices that bring into disrepute the believers’ salvation and redemption at the Cross is NOT rebellion; dissenting against an Assyrian dimension that seeks to subjugate the people of God into its vassals is NOT rebellion.

Isaiah was the prophetic voice, the voice of God to the people of God. When Judah experienced a major Assyrian invasion do not expect his voice to be silent. He is the spokesman for God to the people of God.

All the prophets and apostles of the Lord expressed their dissent against departure from the culture and Word of the Lord. Jesus Himself dissented regularly. Representatives of the Lord will not be at ease in an environment that does not reflect the culture of God. This is the cry of dissent at the heart of every reformation movement. Elijah cried out, John the Baptist cried out, Jesus cried out, Paul cried out.

We will briefly examine the issue regarding circumcision with Paul and Barnabas. The early church of the Lord Jesus Christ was clearly in transition. Certain men arrived from Judea to Antioch and began to teach from the Law of Moses.

“Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.

Acts 15:1 And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” 2 Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, about this question.

Paul and Barnabas expressed their dissent. They did not remain silent. They rejected the application of the Law concerning salvation that demanded circumcision.

The proponents and advocates of this law may have considered Paul and Barnabas to be violators and betrayers of the Law; they may have even been labelled as heretics and blasphemers. This dissension escalated this matter to Jerusalem for further deliberation.

At Jerusalem Peter testified how the Gentiles received the baptism of the Holy Spirit through the confession of their faith in the Lord. The Lord had purified the hearts of the Gentiles by faith.

James then brought into remembrance the words from the prophetic utterances of Amos, Jeremiah and Isaiah ……

Acts 15:17 So that the rest of mankind may seek the LORD, Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, Says the LORD who does all these things.’

Amos 9:12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,” Says the LORD who does this thing.

After the vigorous discourse with the apostles, the issue was resolved.

Acts 15:30 So when they were sent off, they came to Antioch; and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the letter. 31 When they had read it, they rejoiced over its encouragement. 32 Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words. 33 And after they had stayed there for a time, they were sent back with greetings from the brethren to the apostles.

Dissent for the sake of the integrity of the gospel should not be despised. There was great rejoicing in the midst of the multitude.

Paul would declare to the Ephesians:

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

So let us not despise the dissenting voice. It has the potential to bring adjustment to our perspective.

Believers need to dissent against the Assyrian dimension to bring this system under the feet of the Body of Christ on the earth. The boast of the Assyrian principality has to be neutralised

This adversary erodes the confidence and faith of the people of God. The Assyrian blasphemes and profanes the God of Hezekiah, and also brings into disrepute the leadership of Hezekiah

The Assyrian dimension mocks the faith of God’s people who declare :

“The Lord will deliver us”

In these uncertain times that we live in, the believer’s hope is in the Lord. These times can best be described in the message Hezekiah sent to Isaiah ……

‘This day is a day of trouble, and rebuke, and blasphemy; for the children have come to birth, but there is no strength to bring them forth”

2 Kings 18:32 …….. But do not listen to Hezekiah, lest he persuade you, saying, “The LORD will deliver us.” 33 Has any of the gods of the nations at all delivered its land from the hand of the king of Assyria? 34 Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim and Hena and Ivah? Indeed, have they delivered Samaria from my hand? 35 Who among all the gods of the lands have delivered their countries from my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem from my hand?’ ”

This the the strategy of the Assyrian dimension against the remnant of God’s people. The northern tribes may have succumbed to the military might of the Assyrians; the fortified cities of Judah may have been captured; but Jerusalem has the oracle of God, the Temple, the Word of God in the mouth of His servant.

The Body of Christ, which represents the present day Temple, has the Word of God dwelling near and richly in it. It would be tragic to confuse the God of this Body, this present day Temple, with the gods of Hamath, Arpad, Sepharvaim, Hena and Ivah.

Quando o corpo de crentes está espiritualmente sentado em uma posição elevada com Cristo – esta localização espiritual está muito acima dos principados e potestades, poder e domínio, e todo nome que é nomeado.

O desafio para Sua igreja é manifestar de forma prática esta posição na terra – há uma demanda dos céus em Seu corpo de crentes na terra para resistir ferozmente aos espíritos que Cristo já colocou sob Seus pés. Os líderes devem continuar a ensinar sem remorso a verdade da Palavra de Deus.

Para que essa cultura surja, devemos aceitar a necessidade de um discurso e diálogo vigorosos, onde seja proveitoso acomodar o espírito de dissidência.

Discordar contra uma contracultura emergente que desconsidera a Palavra de Deus NÃO é rebelião; discordar contra vozes que trazem descrédito à salvação e redenção dos crentes na Cruz NÃO é rebelião; discordar contra uma dimensão assíria que busca subjugar o povo de Deus aos seus vassalos NÃO é rebelião.

Isaías era a voz profética, a voz de Deus para o povo de Deus. Quando Judá experimentou uma grande invasão assíria, não espere que sua voz se cale. Ele é o porta-voz de Deus para o povo de Deus.

Todos os profetas e apóstolos do Senhor expressaram sua dissidência contra o afastamento da cultura e da Palavra do Senhor. O próprio Jesus discordava regularmente. Os representantes do Senhor não ficarão à vontade em um ambiente que não reflita a cultura de Deus. Este é o clamor de dissidência no centro de todo movimento de reforma. Elias clamou, João Batista clamou, Jesus clamou, Paulo clamou.

Examinaremos brevemente a questão da circuncisão com Paulo e Barnabé. A igreja primitiva do Senhor Jesus Cristo estava claramente em transição. Certos homens chegaram da Judéia a Antioquia e começaram a ensinar a Lei de Moisés.

“Se vocês não forem circuncidados conforme o costume ensinado por Moisés, não poderão ser salvos”

Paulo e Barnabé expressaram sua discordância. Eles não permaneceram em silêncio. Eles rejeitaram a aplicação da Lei sobre a salvação que exigia a circuncisão.

Os proponentes e defensores desta lei podem ter considerado Paulo e Barnabé como violadores e traidores da Lei; eles podem até ter sido rotulados como hereges e blasfemadores. Esta dissensão escalou este assunto para Jerusalém para posterior deliberação.

Em Jerusalém, Pedro testificou como os gentios receberam o batismo do Espírito Santo por meio da confissão de sua fé no Senhor. O Senhor purificou os corações dos gentios pela fé.

Tiago então trouxe à lembrança as palavras das declarações proféticas de Amós, Jeremias e Isaías…

Atos 15:17 para que o restante dos homens busque o Senhor, e todos os gentios sobre os quais tem sido invocado o meu nome, diz o Senhor, que faz estas coisas’

Portanto, não desprezemos a voz dissidente. Tem o potencial de trazer ajustes à nossa perspectiva.

Os crentes precisam discordar da dimensão assíria para trazer este sistema sob os pés do Corpo de Cristo na terra. O orgulho do principado assírio deve ser neutralizado.

Esse adversário corrói a confiança e a fé do povo de Deus. O assírio blasfema e profana o Deus de Ezequias, e também traz descrédito à liderança de Ezequias.

A dimensão assíria zomba da fé do povo de Deus que declara:

“O Senhor nos livrará”

Nestes tempos de incerteza em que vivemos, a esperança do crente está no Senhor. Esses tempos podem ser melhor descritos na mensagem que Ezequias enviou a Isaías …

‘Este é um dia de angústia, repreensão e blasfêmia; porque os filhos nasceram, mas não há força para gerá-los ”

2 Reis 18:32b-35  …Não dêem ouvidos a Ezequias, pois ele os está iludindo, quando diz: ‘O Senhor nos livrará’. Será que o deus de alguma nação conseguiu livrar sua terra das mãos do rei da Assíria? Onde estão os deuses de Hamate e de Arpade? Onde estão os deuses de Sefarvaim, Hena e Iva? Acaso livraram Samaria das minhas mãos? Qual dentre todos os deuses dessas nações conseguiu livrar sua terra do meu poder? Como então o Senhor poderá livrar Jerusalém das minhas mãos”

Esta é a estratégia da dimensão assíria contra o remanescente do povo de Deus. As tribos do norte podem ter sucumbido ao poderio militar dos assírios; as cidades fortificadas de Judá podem ter sido capturadas; mas Jerusalém tem o oráculo de Deus, o Templo, a Palavra de Deus na boca de Seu servo.

O Corpo de Cristo, que representa o Templo atual, tem a Palavra de Deus habitando perto e ricamente nele. Seria trágico confundir o Deus deste Corpo, deste Templo atual, com os deuses de Hamath, Arpad, Sefarvaim, Hena e Ivah.

Before I go into the my subject, I would like to share my perspective on this past week’s manifestation of lawlessness in our nation.

DISCLAIMER I would like to state clearly and unambiguously that I do not consider myself to have already attained, apprehended or perfected. However, I am fully committed to the process of pressing on and progressive evolution that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

Last Sunday we spoke about the unique culture of God’s people, which is an outcome that emerges from the practice of the four disciplines that were steadfastly followed by the early church. Cultural identity is central to a person’s identity.

This week we witnessed widespread destruction, looting and burning of stores and key supply facilities. We have been speaking on lawlessness and the evil principality in recent weeks. Blatant violations and brazen criminal activities in full public view is an indictment against the struggle for our hard fought emancipation; those who have lived during the apartheid years will understand this.

We are grateful to God for the various Community Forums and Law Enforcement agencies that have collaborated to protect the citizens, staying awake through the night, voluntarily positioning themselves in harm’s way. We are also grateful to all the food and other provisions from various organisations during this difficult time. Our hearts are overwhelmed with gratitude. The Lord sees your labour snd sacrifice of love.

The definition of righteousness (doing that which is right in the eyes of the Lord) cannot be sacrificed at the altar of political expedience.

We will now go to my main subject which relates to believers being watchful and alert concerning the hybridization of our culture.

Culture should inform us that when we have been baptised into Christ and owned by CHRIST there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female. Every born again believer, who has made Christ his tabernacle, has been delivered from all forms of discrimination. Because Christ is our place of habitation we know no man after the flesh.

Culture informs us not to rob, kill and destroy.

ONENESS within the Body of Christ is only possible when believers are embedded in a common culture

We will use as our primary reference, a careful examination of the Assyrian military invasion to conquer and bring under subjugation the nations in the ancient Middle East

Very often nations would enter into alliances with other nations to strengthen their military might and infrastructure, trading purposes, skills/technology development, joint operations in engaging a common enemy etc. This ancient practice in collaboration continues to this present day.

However, these alliances have to be sanctioned by God. God’s displeasure in the conduct of His people is revealed through the utterances of His prophet Hosea.

Hosea 7:8 “Ephraim has mixed himself among the peoples; Ephraim is a cake unturned. 9 Aliens have devoured his strength, But he does not know it; Yes, gray hairs are here and there on him, Yet he does not know it. 10 And the pride of Israel testifies to his face, But they do not return to the LORD their God, Nor seek Him for all this. 11 “Ephraim also is like a silly dove, without sense— They call to Egypt, They go to Assyria.

In times of desperation and distress, believers and leaders often adopt the most convenient exit strategy that appears as a safety net against the approaching dangers. Yet God descibes His beloved people as “a cake that not turned” and a “silly dove” without any sense. In this session we will investigate these descriptions in an attempt to fathom the mind of God concerning His people.

AN UNTURNED CAKE

An unturned cake is totally burnt on the one side, because of a lack of responsible oversight. The other side is raw; uncultured; undone. No part of this cake is fit for consumption.

An unturned cake is symbolic of unbalanced revelation. Here are some examples of two sides of the same cake :

Jesus is Son of Man and Son of God

God is love; God is also a consuming fire

The Word of the Lord is spirit and Life (John 6:63)

The Word of the Lord is also like a fire and a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces (Jeremiah 23:29)

The goodness of God (His love). The severity of God (His wrath) (Romans 11:22)

The Lord who confesses you before the Father, is the same Lord who is able to deny you before the Father

Matthew 10:32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Disciples of the Lord must be wise as serpents and gentle as doves

All these examples represent the same cake that requires careful attention and oversight. A responsible, skilful snd God fearing teacher will not neglect to teach both sides of the same cake. This is not vacillating; it is careful handling of the truth.

When we have steadfastly trusted God, and we find ourselves like Elijah alone under a juniper tree, God will send us an angel to bake a cake that will strengthen us and the angel will disclose the full names of our collaborators for our victory. The helpers that God names to help Elijah represent a “properly baked cake” that pleases God. These are not “unturned cakes”

Silence may be the indication that we may be sitting under a tree that God has not sanctioned. We will not receive strength and nourishment from eating that which is inedible.

All believers must submit to the Word of the Lord in humility that would provide us with the necessary oversight. (to turn the cake over)

A SILLY DOVE WITHOUT SENSE

This is harder to figure out; the very nature of a dove, which is a symbol of peace and the Holy Spirit, makes it difficult to associate it with silliness. Humility, Gentleness, Defenceless, Harmless yes! Most definitely!

Yet this is a metaphor used by the Lord that is both complimentary and it carries a strong censure of the conduct of His beloved people.

In fact “the silliness of Ephraim” is a manifestation of an “unturned cake”. The characteristic trait of harmlessness must collaborate with the trait of wisdom in an environment that has a significant wolf population.

Matthew 10:16 “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

The reality is that the harmless nature of the dove makes it vulnerable to the snare of the fowler and the majority of predators that share the habitat of the dove. When our doctrine does not address both demands, God will question our sense and sensibility.

It is outrageous to expect God to remain silent when His beloved people enter into alliances with Assyria and Egypt that represent the carnivorous “Wolf Pack”

Antes de entrar no meu assunto, gostaria de compartilhar minha perspectiva sobre a manifestação de ilegalidade da semana passada em nossa nação.

AVISO GOSTARIA de afirmar de forma clara e inequívoca que não me considero já ter alcançado, apreendido ou aperfeiçoado. No entanto, estou totalmente comprometido com o processo de evolução contínua e progressiva para que eu possa me apossar daquele para o qual Cristo Jesus também me segurou.

No último domingo falamos sobre a cultura única do povo de Deus, que é um resultado que emerge da prática das quatro disciplinas que foram seguidas firmemente pela igreja primitiva. A identidade cultural é central para a identidade de uma pessoa.

Esta semana testemunhamos destruição generalizada, saques e queima de lojas e principais instalações de abastecimento. Temos falado sobre a ilegalidade e o principado maligno nas últimas semanas. Violações descaradas e atividades criminosas descaradas em plena vista pública é uma acusação contra a luta pela nossa dura emancipação; aqueles que viveram durante os anos do apartheid entenderão isso.

Somos gratos a Deus pelos vários Fóruns comunitários e agências de aplicação da lei que colaboraram para proteger os cidadãos, permanecendo acordados durante a noite, voluntariamente posicionando-se em perigo. Também somos gratos a todos os alimentos e outras disposições de várias organizações durante este momento difícil. Nossos corações estão cheios de gratidão. O Senhor vê seu trabalho e sacrifício de amor.

A definição de justiça (fazendo aqui no que está bem aos olhos do Senhor) não pode ser sacrificada no altar da conveniência política.

Vamos agora ao meu tema principal que diz respeito aos crentes estarem atentos e alertas sobre a hibridização de nossa cultura.

A cultura deve nos informar que quando fomos batizados em Cristo e pertencentes a CRISTO, não há nem judeu nem grego, escravo nem livre, masculino nem feminino. Todo crente renascido, que fez de Cristo seu tabernáculo, foi libertado de todas as formas de discriminação. Porque Cristo é nosso lugar de habitação, não conhecemos nenhum homem segundo a carne.

A UNICIDADE dentro do Corpo de Cristo só é possível quando os crentes estão incorporados em uma cultura comum.

Usaremos como nossa referência primária, um exame cuidadoso da invasão militar assíria para conquistar e trazer sob subjugação as nações no antigo Oriente Médio

Muitas vezes as nações entravam em alianças com outras nações para fortalecer seu poder militar e infraestrutura, propósitos comerciais, desenvolvimento de habilidades/tecnologia, operações conjuntas no engajamento de um inimigo comum etc. Essa prática antiga em colaboração continua até os dias atuais.

No entanto, essas alianças têm que ser sancionadas por Deus. O descontentamento de Deus na conduta do Seu povo é revelado através das declarações de Seu profeta Oséias.

Oséias 7:8-11 “Efraim mistura-se com as nações; Efraim é um bolo que não foi virado. Estrangeiros sugam sua força, mas ele não o percebe. A cinza espalha-se pelo seu cabelo, mas ele nem repara. A arrogância de Israel testifica contra ele, mas, apesar de tudo isso, ele não se volta para o Senhor, para o seu Deus, e não o busca. “Efraim é como uma pomba facilmente enganada e sem entendimento; uma hora apela para o Egito, outra hora se volta para a Assíria.

Em tempos de desespero e angústia, os crentes e líderes muitas vezes adotam a estratégia de saída mais conveniente que aparece como uma rede de segurança contra os perigos que se aproximam. No entanto, Deus diz ao seu amado povo como “um bolo que não virou” e uma “pomba facilmente enganada” sem qualquer sentido. Nesta sessão investigaremos essas descrições na tentativa de compreender a mente de Deus sobre seu povo.

UM BOLO NÃO VIRADO

Um bolo não virado é totalmente queimado de um lado, por falta de supervisão responsável. O outro lado é cru; inculto; por fazer. Nenhuma parte deste bolo é adequada para o consumo.

Um bolo sem volta é o símbolo de uma revelação desequilibrada. Aqui estão alguns exemplos de dois lados do mesmo bolo:

Jesus é Filho do Homem e Filho de Deus

Deus é amor; Deus também é um fogo que consome

A Palavra do Senhor é espírito e vida (João 6:63)

A Palavra do Senhor também é como um fogo e um martelo que quebra a rocha em pedaços (Jeremias 23:29)

A bondade de Deus (Seu amor). A gravidade de Deus (Sua ira) (Romanos 11:22)

O Senhor que o confessa diante do Pai é o mesmo Senhor que é capaz de negar-lhe diante do Pai

Mateus 10:32-33 “Quem, pois, me confessar diante dos homens, eu também o confessarei diante do meu Pai que está nos céus. Mas aquele que me negar diante dos homens, eu também o negarei diante do meu Pai que está nos céus.

Discípulos do Senhor devem ser sábios como serpentes e gentis como pombas

Todos esses exemplos representam o mesmo bolo que requer atenção e supervisão cuidadosas. Um professor responsável e hábil temente a Deus não vai deixar de ensinar ambos os lados do mesmo bolo. Isso não é hesitante; é o manuseio cuidadoso da verdade.

Quando confiamos firmemente em Deus, e nos encontramos como Elias sozinho sob um junípero, Deus nos enviará um anjo para fazer um bolo que nos fortalecerá e o anjo divulgará os nomes completos de nossos colaboradores para nossa vitória. Os ajudantes que Deus nomeia para ajudar Elias representam um “bolo devidamente assado” que agrada a Deus. Estes não são “bolos não virados”

O silêncio pode ser a indicação de que podemos estar sentados sob uma árvore que Deus não sancionou. Não receberemos força e nutrição por comer o que é comestível.

Todos os crentes devem submeter-se à Palavra do Senhor em humildade que nos forneceria a supervisão necessária. (para virar o bolo).

UMA POMBA BOBA SEM SENTIDO

Isso é mais difícil de entender; a própria natureza de uma pomba, que é um símbolo de paz e do Espírito Santo, torna difícil associá-la com tolices. Humildade, gentileza, indefeso, inofensivo sim! Com certeza!

No entanto, esta é uma metáfora usada pelo Senhor que é ao mesmo tempo de cortesia e carrega uma forte censura da conduta de Seu amado povo.

Na verdade, “a tolice de Efraim” é uma manifestação de um “bolo não virado”. O traço característico da inocuidade deve colaborar com o traço da sabedoria em um ambiente que tenha uma população de lobos significativa.

Mateus 10:16 Eu os estou enviando como ovelhas entre lobos. Portanto, sejam prudentes como as serpentes e simples como as pombas.

A realidade é que a natureza inofensiva da pomba a torna vulnerável à armadilha do caçador e à maioria dos predadores que compartilham o habitat da pomba. Quando nossa doutrina não atender a ambas as exigências, Deus questionará nosso senso e sensibilidade.

É ultrajante esperar que Deus permaneça em silêncio quando seu amado povo entrar em alianças com Assíria e Egito que representam a carnívora “Matilha de Lobos”.

Everything we do in the Kingdom, every single detail of every strategy has to be launched from and undergirded by a strong code of ethics extracted from the scriptures.

I would like to state clearly and unambiguously that I do not consider myself to have already attained, apprehended or perfected. However, I am fully committed to the process of pressing on and progressive evolution that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

If any strategy violates scripture, it will always be unacceptable and it will not be celebrated by those who have placed their entire lives and trust at the feet of the Lord and His Word.

Every true believer and lover of God will discern that the culture of the people of God is being tested, especially during this pandemic.

HERE ARE SOME UNDENIABLE TRUTHS

Every believer needs to embrace the Divine expectation that we are called to be a holy people to the Lord, a consecrated people, a special treasure above ALL the peoples of the earth. The desire of God is for His people to occupy a position of dominion on the earth. God is committed to His Word and His covenant with the patriarchs – out of them would emerge His people that would eventually include the Gentiles. God is married to His people. He set His love upon His people.

God has not chosen us because we are more numerous than any other; in fact we are the least in number ; He has chosen us because He is a God who honours His covenant and His Word to the patriarchs. At the very epicentre of our faith, that which would reveal our identity as the people of God is a culture that emerges from our obedience to a litany of statutes, laws, decrees, instructions, commands that constitute the entirety of the Word of God which the scriptures declare as TRUTH

At various junctures in the timeline of the history of the nation of Israel, God would command His servants not to depart from His Word – whether it is crossing the Red Sea or entering into the Promised Land. Without the Word of God, there is no identity with the people of God. We see the importance of apostle’s doctrine in the early church that undergirds the culture of God’s people; the doctrine of the apostle, among the three other disciplines, is enshrined and embedded in the culture of the early church.

I would like to refer you the correspondence between Paul and his spiritual son and protege Timothy concerning those who resist the truth, corrupt men walking contrary to the culture of the people of God. Paul makes references to various men who opposed truth.

Paul is commending his spiritual son Timothy, for following Paul’s spiritual walk and testimony; Paul implored Timothy to be faithful to his culture.

2 Timothy 3:10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, 11 persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Paul is not addressing a public audience; He is writing to a covenant son with whom he is well pleased. Timothy also represents the little flock, the remnant of God like the twelve who remained with Jesus after everyone walked away; Gideon’s army of 300 men.

Whilst the people of God are trying to sustain their identity through their culture, Paul warns Timothy about an emerging counter culture that is inspired by an evil principality that is also gaining momentum. The principal weapon of this principality is deception.

“Evil men and impostors will growth worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived”

The remnant have to recognise this evil principality as a present day reality. The proxies and minions who represent this principality are averse to scriptures, laws and protocols; they function like unrestrained, uncultured, lawless gunslingers “in the Wild West”, breathing murderous threats against the faithful remnant, the little flock; they creep into widows’ houses and make captives of gullible women.

Now here’s an important question….. Was Paul’s speech fuelled from a well of bitterness or did Paul carry a burden to teach his spiritual son the importance of preserving integrity in the culture of God’s people as his legacy?

When leaders usually address these issues of betrayal, others are quick to wave the “bitterness and wounded” flag. Paul is communicating to his son his opposition to any act or strategy that would bring the true culture of God’s people into disrepute. Paul is commanding Timothy not to capitulate, but to press on in the things that he learnt from Paul.

“But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them”

Covenanted spiritual sons, who have been entrusted with the father’s legacy, must continue and persevere in the culture that they have been instructed, even as imposters grow worse and worse.

The remnant will also experience persecution and affliction for staying in the path of righteous instructions just like Paul did at Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, but just like the Lord delivered Paul out of ALL his afflictions the Lord will also deliver His remnant.

There is Divine protection for being faithful to the culture of God’s people. There is an assurance that our days would be prolonged, that it would be well with the people of God, for the fathers, their children and their grandchildren.

Paul maintained his integrity in the culture until the end. He finished the race, without forsaking the doctrine and betraying the culture, whilst engaging his enemies with his double edged sword (The Word of God)

This is the burden of those who have placed their trust in God and His Word spoken through His servants.

David had great difficulty in dealing with violations within the culture. When lamenting the betrayal by Absalom and Ahithophel he declared in Psalms …..

Psalms 55:14 We took sweet counsel together, And walked to the house of God in the throng.

Because evil and deception is all around us we refuse to accept this as the new normal in respect of the culture of God’s people; the Word of God must continue to determine the ethical standard for the believer.

Continue to preach and teach the Word of truth and sound doctrine in all seasons. The integrity of the legacy we pass on to our Timothys rests on it.

Se alguma estratégia viola as Escrituras, ela sempre será inaceitável e não será celebrada por aqueles que colocaram toda a sua vida e confiança aos pés do Senhor e de Sua Palavra.

Todo verdadeiro crente e amante de Deus perceberá que a cultura do povo de Deus está sendo testada, especialmente durante esta pandemia.

AQUI ESTÃO ALGUMAS VERDADES INEGÁVEIS

Todo crente precisa abraçar a expectativa divina de que somos chamados a ser um povo santo para o Senhor, um povo consagrado, um tesouro especial acima de TODOS os povos da terra. O desejo de Deus é que Seu povo ocupe uma posição de domínio na terra. Deus está comprometido com Sua Palavra e Sua aliança com os patriarcas – deles surgiria Seu povo que, eventualmente, incluiria os gentios. Deus é casado com Seu povo. Ele colocou Seu amor sobre Seu povo.

Deus não nos escolheu porque somos mais numerosos do que qualquer outro; na verdade, somos os menos numerosos; Ele nos escolheu porque é um Deus que honra Sua aliança e Sua Palavra aos patriarcas. No próprio epicentro de nossa fé, aquilo que revelaria nossa identidade como povo de Deus é uma cultura que emerge de nossa obediência a uma ladainha de estatutos, leis, decretos, instruções, mandamentos que constituem a totalidade da Palavra de Deus que as escrituras declaram como VERDADE

Em vários momentos da história da nação de Israel, Deus ordenou a Seus servos que não se desviassem de Sua Palavra – seja cruzando o Mar Vermelho ou entrando na Terra Prometida. Sem a Palavra de Deus, não há identidade com o povo de Deus. Vemos a importância da doutrina do apóstolo na igreja primitiva que sustenta a cultura do povo de Deus; a doutrina do apóstolo, entre as três outras disciplinas, está consagrada e inserida na cultura da igreja primitiva.

Gostaria de referir-lhe a correspondência entre Paulo e seu filho espiritual e protegido Timóteo a respeito daqueles que resistem à verdade, homens corruptos que andam contra a cultura do povo de Deus. Paulo faz referências a vários homens que se opunham à verdade.

Paulo está elogiando seu filho espiritual Timóteo, por seguir a caminhada espiritual e o testemunho de Paulo; Paulo implorou a Timóteo para ser fiel à sua cultura.

2 Timóteo 3:10 Mas você tem seguido de perto o meu ensino, a minha conduta, o meu propósito, a minha fé, a minha paciência, o meu amor, a minha perseverança, as perseguições e os sofrimentos que enfrentei, coisas que me aconteceram em Antioquia, Icônio e Listra. Quanta perseguição suportei! Mas, de todas essas coisas o Senhor me livrou! De fato, todos os que desejam viver piedosamente em Cristo Jesus serão perseguidos. Contudo, os perversos e impostores irão de mal a pior, enganando e sendo enganados. Quanto a você, porém, permaneça nas coisas que aprendeu e das quais tem convicção, pois você sabe de quem o aprendeu. Porque desde criança você conhece as sagradas letras, que são capazes de torná-lo sábio para a salvação mediante a fé em Cristo Jesus.

Paulo não está se dirigindo a uma audiência pública; Ele está escrevendo para um filho da aliança com quem está muito satisfeito. Timóteo também representa o pequeno rebanho, o remanescente de Deus como os doze que permaneceram com Jesus depois que todos foram embora; O exército de Gideon de 300 homens

Agora, aqui está uma pergunta importante … O discurso de Paulo foi alimentado por uma fonte de amargura ou Paulo carregou o peso de ensinar a seu filho espiritual a importância de preservar a integridade na cultura do povo de Deus como seu legado?

Quando os líderes geralmente tratam dessas questões de traição, outros agem rapidamente com a bandeira de “amargura e feridos”. Paulo está comunicando a seu filho sua oposição a qualquer ato ou estratégia que traria descrédito à verdadeira cultura do povo de Deus. Paulo está ordenando a Timóteo que não capitule, mas que prossiga nas coisas que aprendeu com Paulo.

“Quanto a você, porém, permaneça nas coisas que aprendeu e das quais tem convicção, pois você sabe de quem o aprendeu.”

Filhos espirituais pactuados, a quem foi confiado o legado do pai, devem continuar e perseverar na cultura que foram instruídos, mesmo quando os impostores ficam cada vez piores.

O remanescente também experimentará perseguição e aflição por permanecer no caminho das instruções justas, assim como Paulo fez em Antioquia, Icônio e Listra, mas assim como o Senhor libertou Paulo de TODAS as suas aflições, o Senhor também libertará Seu remanescente.

Existe proteção divina para ser fiel à cultura do povo de Deus. Temos a certeza de que nossos dias seriam prolongados, de que tudo estaria bem com o povo de Deus, para os pais, seus filhos e netos.

Paulo manteve sua integridade na cultura até o fim. Ele terminou a corrida, sem abandonar a doutrina e trair a cultura, enquanto enfrentava seus inimigos com sua espada de dois gumes (A Palavra de Deus)

Este é o fardo daqueles que colocaram sua confiança em Deus e em Sua Palavra falada por meio de Seus servos.

Davi teve grande dificuldade em lidar com violações dentro da cultura. Ao lamentar a traição de Absalão e Aitofel, ele declarou em Salmos…

Salmos 55:14 você, com quem eu partilhava agradável comunhão enquanto íamos com a multidão festiva para a casa de Deus!

Porque o mal e o engano estão ao nosso redor, nos recusamos a aceitar isso como o novo normal no que diz respeito à cultura do povo de Deus; a Palavra de Deus deve continuar a determinar o padrão ético para o crente.

Continue a pregar e ensinar a Palavra da verdade e sã doutrina em todas as épocas. A integridade do legado que passamos para nosso “Timóteo” repousa sobre isso.

We must embrace the reality that the believer and the church functions from two distinctly different realms.

This is clearly revealed in the scriptures when Elijah proclaimed a drought while standing before Ahab.

1 Kings 17:1 And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”

1. We understand the demands of the Spiritual environment. The church is defined as the ekklesia, the ones who have been called out of darkness into the marvellous Light of God; saved by grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, redeemed from all our sins by the blood of Jesus who willingly laid down His life for those who would receive Him as Lord. Believers and the church functions from heaven – living according to His Word and being led by His Spirit. Believers commit to a household of faith and they submit to the one whom God has sent to lead that house or family.

2. The second environment is the earth. Believers are called to submit to the laws of the governing authorities. The church is registered just like any other business; it receives an income, it has expenses, it pays for utilities like water, electricity and telephone; it purchases land and buildings; it enters into lease agreements; it operates bank accounts; it submits annual financial accounts and pays taxes to the ruling authorities where required.

Important Note : Believers will resist Government legislation that is contrary to the laws that are enshrined in the Holy Scriptures. Believers will use all the lawful platforms to voice our peaceful protest.

The Apostle Paul instructs us concerning our submission to governing authorities.

Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. 4 For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. 5 Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

From this we observe that submission to protocols that have been put into place by governing authorities, in both natural and spiritual spheres, are commanded in the Holy scriptures.

This document clearly sets out the rules of engagement between external organisations/persons and CCF International Church. It has been designed with the intention of improving and protecting our relationships within the Body of Christ.

1. Compreendemos as demandas do ambiente espiritual.  A igreja é definida como ekklesia, aqueles que foram chamados das trevas para a maravilhosa Luz de Deus;  salvo pela graça do Senhor Jesus Cristo, redimido de todos os nossos pecados pelo sangue de Jesus que voluntariamente deu Sua vida por aqueles que O recebessem como Senhor.  Os crentes e a igreja funcionam do céu – vivendo de acordo com a Sua Palavra e sendo guiados pelo Seu Espírito.  Os crentes se comprometem com uma família de fé e se submetem àquele a quem Deus enviou para liderar essa casa ou família.

2. O segundo ambiente é a terra. Os crentes são chamados a se submeter às leis das autoridades governantes. A igreja é registrada como qualquer outro negócio; recebe uma renda, tem despesas, paga serviços como água, luz e telefone; compra terrenos e edifícios; celebra contratos de arrendamento; opera contas bancárias; apresenta contas financeiras anuais e paga impostos às autoridades competentes, quando necessário.

Nota importante: Os crentes resistirão à legislação governamental que é contrária às leis que estão consagradas nas Sagradas Escrituras. Os crentes usarão todas as plataformas legais para expressar nosso protesto pacífico.

O apóstolo Paulo nos instrui a respeito de nossa submissão às autoridades governamentais.

Romanos 13: 1 Cada pessoa esteja sujeita às autoridades governantes.  Pois não há autoridade exceto de Deus, e as autoridades que existem são designadas por Deus.  2 Portanto, quem resiste à autoridade resiste à ordenança de Deus e aqueles que resistem trarão o julgamento sobre si mesmos.  3 Pois os governantes não são um terror para as boas obras, mas para o mal.  Você quer não ter medo da autoridade?  Faça o que é bom e receberá elogios do mesmo.  4 Pois ele é o ministro de Deus para o seu bem.  Mas se você fizer o mal, tenha medo;  pois ele não empunha a espada em vão;  pois ele é o ministro de Deus, um vingador para executar a ira sobre aquele que pratica o mal.  5 Portanto, você deve estar sujeito, não apenas por causa da ira, mas também por causa da consciência.  6 Porque, por causa disso, você também paga impostos, pois eles são ministros de Deus, atendendo continuamente a isso mesmo.  7 Rendei, pois, a todos os seus devidos: os impostos aos quais são devidos os impostos, os costumes aos quais os costumes, o medo a quem temem, a honra a quem honra

When we come before God, alone in prayer, we often disclose the truth that resides in the depths of our hearts; a pouring out of our closely guarded emotions from our innermost beings. During these moments of interaction with God, our utterances are usually at their purest and most sincere state of expression.

We will study the disclosures of Jesus concerning Eternal Life in His final prayer to the Eternal Father.

John 17:2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

This is the final prayer of Jesus Christ, the One who has been sent by the Only True God. He is disclosing the key, foundational demand of all believers concerning “Eternal Life”.

Consider the fact that Jesus’ ministry on earth is drawing to a close. During this time He had been exposed to all types of operating systems and leaders in the religious sphere; He engaged the ruling, governing authorities of the land; He had engaged satan and the demonic realm; He now comes to a place, where He addresses His Father as “The Only True God”.

Let us examine the scriptures at the time when Lazarus was resurrected. Jesus is addressing Martha …..

John 11:40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”

Observe clearly the flow of events as they played out here. Jesus’ prayer to the Father did not focus on the resurrection of Lazarus. Although He wept He did not lose sight of who He is, He is Jesus Christ, the One Sent by the Only True God. He is declaring to the Father that the words of His prayer and the response of God is for the benefit of the witnesses standing by. The resurrection would validate the credibility and authority of Jesus as the One sent by the Only True God. The Father always hears His Son. It is the demonstration of the strength and integrity of this abiding relationship that neutralizes the spirit of unbelief. The One Sent by the Only True God is able to call Lazarus out of the tomb. If not, the words of Martha would prevail, and Jesus would be simply be regarded as the carpenter’s son.

This incident has two clear purposes

1. Martha, Mary and that community to witness the Glory of God

2. For the same crowd to recognize Jesus as the One Sent by God

“And this is eternal life, that they may know the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent” (John 17:3)

Now, with this in mind, let us return to the final prayer of Jesus. It is a reflection as well a “report card” of all that Jesus has done during His short ministry. I would like to focus on two things that Jesus mentioned to the Father ….

John 17:14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

The Word God will cause hostility and hatred between those who have been baptised in the ways of the world and believers in the Triune God.

It is a day of great lamentation where we see the emergence of a hybrid counter culture, that is evolving from the marriage between the ways of the world and the adoption of some of the ways of God. Believers have structured their messages to receive the applause of those who are embedded in the ways of the world. The early believers were hated by the world because of the message they carried; the call for reformation and change will always intimidate those who were comfortable in the broad way. Jesus declared to the Father that He is hated by the world

John 5: 38 But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. 39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.41 “I do not receive honor from men.

The Jews whom Jesus was addressing were exposed for not having the Word of the Lord abiding in them. They relied copiously on the Laws of Moses, yet refusing to acknowledge Jesus as the promised Saviour and Messiah, the gateway to Eternal Life.

The second point that I would like us to examine is this :

PROTECT THEM FROM THE EVIL ONE. John 17:15(b) ……. but that You should keep them from the evil one.

Let us examine the meaning of the Greek Word “keep”. tēréō; a warden, guard. To keep an eye on, watch, and hence to guard, keep, obey. Particularly to observe attentively, keep the eyes fixed upon, or a custom meaning to perform watchfully, vigilantly (Extracted from CWSB Dictionaries)

Jesus and the Father are ONE in the Godhead. Jesus is speaking the mind of the Father. The Father did not keep Adam from the tree in the Garden. Adam was simply given the Word (instruction). In the Garden immunity from the evil one was activated by obedience to the Word and direct commands of God. Nothing has changed. Divine Immunity is conferred through the believer’s obedience to the Word of God.

This is the reason Jesus first informs His Father, in His prayer, that He has given His disciples the Word of God. There can be no immunity outside obedience to the Word of God. Faithfulness to His Word attracts the attention of the One whose characteristic feature is being True and Faithful. God does not take us out of the world to escape trials and afflictions. He keeps us (protects and sustains us during our various challenges)

All representative leadership structures operating in the church on the earth , including the father/son wineskin, must use these Divine patterns to achieve the highest possible standards in our representation of the culture within the Holy Trinity.

This morning we will talk about grace that is sent from the Father but is despised.

Matthew 23 is an exposition by Jesus of the cold heart of religious bigotry and the traditions of men; Jesus openly confronted, challenged and rebuked the principality that governs and rules the hearts and minds of scribes, Pharisees and the religious order.

They were relentless opponents of the message of reformation of practices in the Father‘s house brought by Jesus. They thrived on the platform of political theatre and religious, unprofitable, partisan bickering.

God has always expressed His thoughts through the human resource and other created beings throughout scripture. Man could not plead ignorance of God’s ways at any point in biblical history. God would always raise up His servants to voice His displeasure concerning the spiritual condition and apostasy concerning His beloved people.

In most instances prayers are heard by God, and He would often respond by sending solutions and grace.

We will carefully study the Parable of the Wicked Vinedressers that is found in Matthew 21:33-46. A vinedresser is a person who cultivates and prunes vines.

The Lord sends help to a community in the form of a landowner who makes a capital investment in that village. He plants a vineyard (type of church); he installs the perimeter fencing and builds a tower (for the oversight of the vineyard and surroundings). This is central to the security detail. He then proceeded to construct a manufacturing, blending and bottling facility(wine press). This project would have utilised local labour resources. Once the infrastructure was completed he decided to lease the property to some vinedressers rather than manage the operations by himself. The scriptures record that he then departed from that region and went to a far country.

We can apply the revelatory principles in this parable to almost any partnership or collaboration whether it is business, ministry, relationships – the truth remains. Critical to the longevity and sustainability of the vineyard is the ability of the “lessee” to discern the grace of the landowner (type of the Lord)

Although the landowner sent various representatives to bring back the fruit from his original investment, the vinedressers assaulted, stoned and murdered all the representatives sent by the landowner. The return of the fruit was clearly an integral part of the lease agreement.

The apostle Paul would say quite directly :

1 Corinthians 9:7 Who ever goes to war at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not drink of the milk of the flock?

Finally, assuming that his own son would be respected, he sent his son. The vinedressers cast the son, the heir out of his inheritance and murdered him.

These vinedressers may have been seduced into a false sense of security during the time of the harvest. They may have thought that they did all the hard work in the vineyard and may have felt entitled to retain the fruit.

We must always remember that Jesus is not only the landowner; He is also the vine; that the fruit is the outcome of being connected to the Lord. The tower in the vineyard is also a consistent symbol of the Lord at the heart of our investment.

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

Psalms 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.

Hosea 14:8 O Ephraim, what more have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like a luxuriant cypress; From Me comes your fruit.

The blessings of the dew, rain and the light come from above to the vineyard as a blessing and a help to nourish and refresh. Although it is the landowner who establishes the property and its infrastructure creating a business opportunity, it is God who makes the vineyard grow. The process involves those who would plant; and those who water, but as Paul would inform the Corinthians, it is God who gives the increase.

As we said, the vineyard is a picture of the church; the vine is Jesus. The believers are the branches. This vineyard was called out of Egypt and planted (Psalms 80:8)

The chief priests and Pharisees were part of the audience when Jesus told this parable. A while later we find Jesus making a strong statement against this city …..

Matthew 23:37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 38 See! Your house is left to you desolate; 39 for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ ”

This city is held accountable by Jesus for rejecting those who carry the solutions from God. These are image bearers and carriers of helps and blessings from above. These sendings are God’s responses to the prayers offered in Jerusalem; prayers that were offered “in this place” – the location of the Temple.

Approximately one thousand years ago God promised Solomon that He would answer the prayers that were offered in this place after the protocols of 2 Chronicles 7:14 are met…..

• Process of humility – giving the Rock an elevated position. • Pray and seek the Face of God – work on our relationship with the Eternal God. • Not to entangle ourselves in a pervasive culture of wickedness

We can now see clearly that the answering of our prayers is manifested through the Lord commissioning His resources to reach us. Our victory is dependent on us receiving and implementing the logistics that are brought by grace carrying vessels that are sent to us from the Lord. Rejection of these vessels is a sure way to restricting the flow of grace. Those vinedressers lost the opportunity to renew their lease. A thousand years ago the promise of God to Solomon was that His eyes and His heart will be on the Temple in Jerusalem perpetually.

How does a vineyard become desolate ?

A church does not become desolate when the people leave; it becomes desolate when the Lord leaves

Joseph discovered this truth the hard way. When the Glory of God departs this is the beginning of desolation, the beginning of sorrows. When the Lord departs, His Word departs. When His Word departs, many embrace the language and literature of the Chaldeans. Focus shifts to external traditions and rituals; apostasy sets in. The intent in the heart of the Lord was always for His people to gather under Him; under His Word; experience safety and immunity that is found under His wings. The city must declare “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

This is the reality of the spiritual condition of Jerusalem :

Rejection of the Ones sent by the Lord = Rejection of the Sender Himself

Disciples of the Lord will not experience the hen/chicks model of gathering outside His Word. The Lord wants to cover us with His feathers; our place of refuge is under His wings. We cannot separate the Lord from His Word. He is the Word. When we are covered under His feathers, it is equal to His Word covering us.

There is a secret place, that has become a place of habitation for those who have made the Lord their refuge and fortress. This is a spiritual location, a place where we would take refuge from the chaos.

Psalms 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High. Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

Podemos aplicar os princípios reveladores desta parábola a quase qualquer parceria ou colaboração, seja negócios, ministério, relacionamentos – a verdade permanece. A exigência para a longevidade e sustentabilidade da vinha é a capacidade do “locatário” de discernir a graça do proprietário (tipo do Senhor)

Embora o fazendeiro tenha enviado vários representantes para trazer de volta os frutos de seu investimento original, os vinicultores agrediram, apedrejaram e assassinaram todos os representantes enviados pelo fazendeiro. A devolução da fruta era claramente parte integrante do contrato de arrendamento.

O apóstolo Paulo diria diretamente:

1 Coríntios 9:7 Quem serve como soldado às suas próprias custas? Quem planta uma vinha e não come do seu fruto? Quem apascenta um rebanho e não bebe do seu leite?

Finalmente, supondo que seu próprio filho seria respeitado, ele o enviou. Os vinicultores expulsaram o filho herdeiro de sua herança e o assassinaram.

Esses vinicultores podem ter sido seduzidos por uma falsa sensação de segurança durante a época da colheita. Eles podem ter pensado que fizeram todo o trabalho árduo na vinha e podem ter se sentido no direito de reter os frutos.

Devemos sempre lembrar que Jesus não é apenas o proprietário; Ele também é a videira; que o fruto é o resultado de estar conectado ao Senhor. A torre na vinha também é um símbolo consistente do Senhor no centro de nosso investimento.

Provérbios 18:10 O nome do Senhor é uma torre forte; Os justos correm para ela e estão seguros.

Salmos 127:1 Se não for o Senhor o construtor da casa, será inútil trabalhar na construção. Se não é o Senhor que vigia a cidade, será inútil a sentinela montar guarda.

Oseias 14:8 O que Efraim ainda tem com ídolos? Sou eu que lhe respondo e dele cuidarei. Sou como um pinheiro verde; o fruto que você produz de mim procede”.

As bênçãos do orvalho, da chuva e da luz vêm do alto para a vinha como uma bênção e uma ajuda para nutrir e refrescar. Embora seja o proprietário que estabelece a propriedade e sua infraestrutura criando uma oportunidade de negócio, é Deus quem faz crescer a vinha. O processo envolve quem vai plantar; e os que regam, mas como Paulo informaria aos coríntios, é Deus quem dá o aumento.

Como dissemos, a vinha é uma imagem da igreja; a videira é Jesus. Os crentes são os ramos. Esta vinha foi chamada do Egito e plantada (Salmos 80:8).

Os principais sacerdotes e fariseus faziam parte da audiência quando Jesus contou essa parábola. Um tempo depois, encontramos Jesus fazendo uma forte declaração contra esta cidade.

Mateus 23:37 “Jerusalém, Jerusalém, você, que mata os profetas e apedreja os que lhe são enviados! Quantas vezes eu quis reunir os seus filhos, como a galinha reúne os seus pintinhos debaixo das suas asas, mas vocês não quiseram.

Esta cidade é responsabilizada por Jesus por rejeitar aqueles que carregam as soluções de Deus. Estes são portadores de imagens e portadores de ajuda e bênçãos do alto. Esses envios são as respostas de Deus às orações feitas em Jerusalém; orações que foram oferecidas “neste lugar” – a localização do Templo.

Aproximadamente mil anos atrás, Deus prometeu a Salomão que Ele responderia às orações que eram oferecidas neste lugar depois que os protocolos de 2 Crônicas 7:14 fossem cumpridos…

• Processo de humildade – dando à Rocha uma posição elevada. • Ore e busque a Face de Deus – trabalhe em nosso relacionamento com o Deus Eterno.

• Não nos enredar em uma cultura generalizada de maldade

Agora podemos ver claramente que a resposta às nossas orações se manifesta por meio do Senhor comissionando Seus recursos para nos alcançar. Nossa vitória depende de recebermos e implementarmos a logística trazida pela graça, carregando vasos que nos são enviados pelo Senhor. A rejeição desses vasos é uma maneira segura de restringir o fluxo da graça. Esses vinicultores perderam a oportunidade de renovar o aluguel. Mil anos atrás, a promessa de Deus a Salomão era que Seus olhos e Seu coração estariam perpetuamente no Templo em Jerusalém.

Como uma vinha fica desolada?

Uma igreja não fica desolada quando as pessoas vão embora; fica desolado quando o Senhor sai!

José descobriu essa verdade da maneira mais difícil. Quando a Glória de Deus parte, este é o começo da desolação, o começo das tristezas. Quando o Senhor parte, Sua Palavra parte. Quando Sua Palavra se afasta, muitos adotam a linguagem e a literatura dos caldeus. O foco muda para tradições e rituais externos; A apostasia se instala. A intenção no coração do Senhor sempre foi que Seu povo se reunisse sob Ele; sob Sua Palavra; experimente a segurança e imunidade que se encontra sob Suas asas. A cidade deve declarar “Ele é meu refúgio e minha fortaleza; Meu Deus, Nele vou confiar. ”

Esta é a realidade da condição espiritual de Jerusalém:

Rejeição dos enviados pelo Senhor = Rejeição do próprio remetente

Os discípulos do Senhor não experimentarão o modelo de ajuntamento de galinha/pintinho fora de Sua Palavra. O Senhor quer nos cobrir com Suas penas; nosso lugar de refúgio está sob Suas asas. Não podemos separar o Senhor de Sua Palavra. Ele é a Palavra. Quando estamos cobertos por Suas penas, é igual a Sua Palavra nos cobrindo.

Há um lugar secreto, que se tornou um lugar de habitação para aqueles que fizeram do Senhor seu refúgio e fortaleza. Este é um local espiritual, um lugar onde nos refugiaríamos do caos.

Salmos 91:1-5 Aquele que habita no abrigo do Altíssimo e descansa à sombra do Todo-poderoso pode dizer ao Senhor: Tu és o meu refúgio e a minha fortaleza, o meu Deus, em quem confio. Ele o livrará do laço do caçador e do veneno mortal. Ele o cobrirá com as suas penas, e sob as suas asas você encontrará refúgio; a fidelidade dele será o seu escudo protetor. Você não temerá o pavor da noite, nem a flecha que voa de dia,

We continue this week with the subject from last week – Help from Above. God has His own massive infrastructure (all of creation) in place to attain the highest standards in service delivery. He is Sovereign God and He has access to all of His creation, most especially the human resource to deliver help and uncommon blessings from above to His people. It is the spirit of God that stirs the hearts of human beings to become image bearers and carriers of grace to God’s people.

This week we will pursue this position under the heading “Embracing the Logistics”

For those of us who have had the experience of being exposed to a secular/corporate environment we will not have much difficulty in understanding this term.

What is Logistics? Logistics is the planning, implementation and coordination of specific details of an operation or business. Definition extracted from Dictionary.com)

This word is often used in regard to military operations and is implemented through a highly evolved trail of communication.

Jesus Himself, whilst teaching on discipleship, explains the importance of logistics ; Jesus infers that the successful outcome of any project or operation is dependent on us mapping out the logistics

Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it— 29 lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, 30 saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’? 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace.

A great portion of the book of Exodus is dedicated to rolling out the Logistics for the construction of the Tabernacle. Even the administration of our present Tabernacle (Christ dwelling in and among the community of believers) is submitted to the logistics rolled out in the doctrine of Christ.

Last week I shared on how God commanded nature, through the earthquake, to set Paul and Silas free from prison; that this was a bloodless deliverance of His servants. The earthquake was the preferred method that the Sovereign Lord would use to set His servants free.

We also see God use nature as a means to send help to His people and judge His enemies

• We see God command a raven to provide sustenance for Elijah in the wilderness. When Elijah saw the raven with a piece of meat in its mouth, he was not surprised because God had told him.

• We see how God would deploy His great army of locusts to get Pharoah to release His people…… “or else”

Exodus 10:3 So Moses and Aaron came in to Pharaoh and said to him, “Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews: ‘How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, that they may serve Me. 4 Or else, if you refuse to let My people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your territory.

ALL THINGS WERE CREATED FOR HIM

His creation serves Him in accordance to His will and commands.

Colossians 1:16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

MILITARY LOGISTICS IN THE DESTRUCTION OF JERICHO

The Lord is releasing the military logistics to His servant Joshua who is positioned on the earth for the destruction and the overthrow of Jericho

Joshua 6:1 Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. 2 And the LORD said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. 3 You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. 4 And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. 5 It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.”

Here are logistics necessary for victory in Jericho.

• Call all the men of War – this is a military operation

• March around the city once for six consecutive days

• March in silence – no sound

• Seven priests carrying seven trumpets will be positioned before the Ark of the Covenant

• On the seventh day march 7 times; the priests will blow their trumpets

• When you hear the long blast of the rams’ horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet – this is the moment of shouting

• The walls will fall flat

• The people shall go up, every man into the city

Logistics have to be extracted from the scriptures and documented; they must be precisely implemented in every detail to demonstrate our faithful collaboration with the Word of the Lord.

The Apostle John was instructed by the Lord to document His audit of the seven churches in the seven cities.

Revelation 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, 11 saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

Let us carefully analyse the military strategy given to Joshua for victory in Jericho, in light of my presentation last week on “Help from Above”.

What is the supernatural blessing (Help from Above) that God is ready to release to Joshua and the people of God on the earth?

Joshua receives a Divine visitation from the Commander of the Armies of the Lord. Joshua experienced a theophany – a visible appearance of the Lord Himself. This is further supported by the instruction to Joshua to take off his sandals because the place he is standing on is holy

Joshua 5:14 So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?” 15 Then the Commander of the LORD’s army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.

THIS IS THE BLESSING THAT GOD WANTS TO RELEASE TO HIS PEOPLE

In fact, the victory over Jericho has already been predetermined by God.

Joshua 6:2 And the LORD said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor

HOWEVER, THE VICTORY WILL BE MANIFESTED ON CONDITION OF EVERY LOGISTICAL DETAIL BEING IMPLEMENTED. THE OBEDIENCE OF JOSHUA IN METICULOUSLY EXPEDITING THE LOGISTICS OF THIS MILITARY OPERATION WILL GIVE VICTORY TO THE PEOPLE OF GOD.

THERE ARE ALSO SPECIFIC LOGISTICS REGARDING THE IMMUNITY CONFERRED UPON THE HOUSEHOLD OF RAHAB AND HER FAMILY

The roll out plan is divulged to every participant in the operation including Rahab.

Joshua 6: 22 But Joshua had said to the two men who had spied out the country, “Go into the harlot’s house, and from there bring out the woman and all that she has, as you swore to her.”

THE PROTOCOLS TO GRANT IMMUNITY TO THE HOUSE OF RAHAB

Joshua 2:17 So the men said to her: “We will be blameless of this oath of yours which you have made us swear, 18 unless, when we come into the land, you bind this line of scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and unless you bring your father, your mother, your brothers, and all your father’s household to your own home. 19 So it shall be that whoever goes outside the doors of your house into the street, his blood shall be on his own head, and we will be guiltless. And whoever is with you in the house, his blood shall be on our head if a hand is laid on him. 20 And if you tell this business of ours, then we will be free from your oath which you made us swear.” 21 Then she said, “According to your words, so be it.” And she sent them away, and they departed. And she bound the scarlet cord in the window.

The immunity granted to Rahab was sealed by her obedience, faithfulness and the blood (scarlet cord) on the window. If Rahab does not communicate the logistics to the members of her household and family and bring them into her home, she will be accountable to the Lord for positioning her family in harm’s way. The scarlet cord also represents the covenant between the representatives of the Lord and the house of Rahab. This was not the time for the family of Rahab to be found loitering outside the house on the streets. There are Logistics to implement if we want to experience Divine immunity in the house of Rahab.

Logistics are clear, plain instructions; they are not hidden in prophecies, parables or dark sayings; they do not require interpretation. They are clearly communicated and understood.

Jesus was amazed with the Roman use of logistics : Matthew 8:9-10
9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!

AJUDA DO ALTO – ABRAÇANDO A LOGÍSTICA (Traduzido por Rafael Nogueira Rezende)

Continuamos esta semana com o assunto da semana passada – Ajuda de Cima. Deus tem Sua própria infraestrutura massiva (toda a criação) para atingir os mais altos padrões na prestação de serviços. Ele é o Deus Soberano e tem acesso a toda a Sua criação, mais especialmente aos recursos humanos para entregar ajuda e bênçãos incomuns do alto ao Seu povo. É o espírito de Deus que move os corações dos seres humanos para se tornarem portadores da imagem e portadores da graça para o povo de Deus.

Nesta semana, buscaremos esta posição sob o título “Abraçando a Logística”

Para aqueles de nós que tiveram a experiência de serem expostos a um ambiente secular / corporativo, não teremos muita dificuldade em compreender este termo.

O que é Logística? Logística é o planejamento, implementação e coordenação de detalhes específicos de uma operação ou negócio. (Definição extraída de Dictionary.com)

Essa palavra é frequentemente usada em relação a operações militares e é implementada por meio de uma trilha de comunicação altamente desenvolvida.

O próprio Jesus, ao ensinar sobre o discipulado, explica a importância da logística; Jesus infere que o resultado bem-sucedido de qualquer projeto ou operação depende de mapearmos a logística.

Lucas 14:28-32 “Qual de vocês, se quiser construir uma torre, primeiro não se assenta e calcula o preço, para ver se tem dinheiro suficiente para completá-la? Pois, se lançar o alicerce e não for capaz de terminá-la, todos os que a virem rirão dele, dizendo: ‘Este homem começou a construir e não foi capaz de terminar’. “Ou, qual é o rei que, pretendendo sair à guerra contra outro rei, primeiro não se assenta e pensa se com dez mil homens é capaz de enfrentar aquele que vem contra ele com vinte mil? Se não for capaz, enviará uma delegação, enquanto o outro ainda está longe, e pedirá um acordo de paz.

Uma grande parte do livro de Êxodo é dedicada ao desenvolvimento da Logística para a construção do Tabernáculo. Até mesmo a administração de nosso tabernáculo atual (Cristo habitando dentro e entre a comunidade dos crentes) é submetida à logística desenvolvida na doutrina de Cristo.

Na semana passada, compartilhei como Deus ordenou à natureza, por meio do terremoto, que libertasse Paulo e Silas da prisão; que esta foi uma libertação sem sangue de Seus servos. O terremoto era o método preferido que o Soberano Senhor usaria para libertar Seus servos.

Também vemos Deus usar a natureza como um meio de enviar ajuda ao Seu povo e julgar Seus inimigos

• Vemos Deus ordenar a um corvo que forneça sustento para Elias no deserto. Quando Elias viu o corvo com um pedaço de carne na boca, não se surpreendeu porque Deus lhe havia dito.

• Vemos como Deus implantaria Seu grande exército de gafanhotos para fazer o Faraó libertar Seu povo … “ou então”

Êxodo 10:3-4 Dirigiram-se, pois, Moisés e Arão ao faraó e lhe disseram: “Assim diz o Senhor, o Deus dos hebreus: ‘Até quando você se recusará a humilhar-se perante mim? Deixe ir o meu povo, para que me preste culto. Se você não quiser deixá-lo ir, farei vir gafanhotos sobre o seu território amanhã.

TODAS AS COISAS FORAM CRIADAS PARA ELE

Sua criação O serve de acordo com Sua vontade e comandos.

Colossenses 1:16-17 pois nele foram criadas todas as coisas nos céus e na terra, as visíveis e as invisíveis, sejam tronos ou soberanias, poderes ou autoridades; todas as coisas foram criadas por ele e para ele. Ele é antes de todas as coisas, e nele tudo subsiste.

LOGÍSTICA MILITAR NA DESTRUIÇÃO DE JERICÓ

O Senhor está liberando a logística militar para Seu servo Josué que está posicionado na terra para a destruição e derrubada de Jericó.

Josué 6:1-5 Jericó estava completamente fechada por causa dos israelitas. Ninguém saía nem entrava. Então o Senhor disse a Josué: “Saiba que entreguei nas suas mãos Jericó, seu rei e seus homens de guerra. Marche uma vez ao redor da cidade, com todos os homens armados. Faça isso durante seis dias. Sete sacerdotes levarão cada um uma trombeta de chifre de carneiro à frente da arca. No sétimo dia, marchem todos sete vezes ao redor da cidade, e os sacerdotes toquem as trombetas. Quando as trombetas soarem um longo toque, todo o povo dará um forte grito; o muro da cidade cairá e o povo atacará, cada um do lugar onde estiver”.

Aqui estão as logísticas necessárias para a vitória em Jericó.

• Chame todos os homens de guerra – esta é uma operação militar

• Marcha pela cidade uma vez por seis dias consecutivos

• Marcha em silêncio – sem som

• Sete sacerdotes carregando sete trombetas serão posicionados diante da Arca da Aliança

• No sétimo dia de março 7 vezes; os sacerdotes tocarão suas trombetas

• Quando você ouve o longo toque da buzina dos carneiros, e quando você ouve o som da trombeta – este é o momento de gritar

• As paredes vão cair

• O povo subirá, cada homem para a cidade

A logística deve ser extraída das escrituras e documentada; eles devem ser implementados com precisão em cada detalhe para demonstrar nossa colaboração fiel com a Palavra do Senhor.

O apóstolo João foi instruído pelo Senhor a documentar Sua auditoria das sete igrejas nas sete cidades.

Apocalipse 1:10-11 No dia do Senhor achei-me no Espírito e ouvi por trás de mim uma voz forte, como de trombeta, que dizia: “Escreva num livro o que você vê e envie a estas sete igrejas: Éfeso, Esmirna, Pérgamo, Tiatira, Sardes, Filadélfia e Laodicéia”.

Vamos analisar cuidadosamente a estratégia militar dada a Josué para a vitória em Jericó, à luz da minha apresentação na semana passada sobre “Ajuda de Cima”.

Qual é a bênção sobrenatural (Ajuda do Alto) que Deus está pronto para liberar para Josué e o povo de Deus na terra?

Josué recebe uma visitação divina do Comandante dos Exércitos do Senhor. Josué experimentou uma teofania – uma aparição visível do próprio Senhor. Isso é ainda confirmado pela instrução de Josué para tirar as sandálias porque o lugar em que ele está é sagrado

Josué 5:14-15 “Nem uma coisa nem outra”, respondeu ele. “Venho na qualidade de comandante do exército do Senhor”. Então Josué prostrou-se, rosto em terra, em sinal de respeito, e lhe perguntou: “Que mensagem o meu senhor tem para o seu servo? “O comandante do exército do Senhor respondeu: “Tire as sandálias dos pés, pois o lugar em que você está é santo”. E Josué as tirou.

ESTA É A BÊNÇÃO QUE DEUS QUER LIBERAR AO SEU POVO

Na verdade, a vitória sobre Jericó já foi predeterminada por Deus.

Josué 6:2 Então o Senhor disse a Josué: “Saiba que entreguei nas suas mãos Jericó, seu rei e seus homens de guerra.

NO ENTANTO, A VITÓRIA SERÁ MANIFESTADA À CONDIÇÃO DE CADA DETALHE LOGÍSTICO QUE SEJA IMPLEMENTADO. A OBEDIÊNCIA DE JOSUÉ EM EXPEDIR METICULOSAMENTE A LOGÍSTICA DESTA OPERAÇÃO MILITAR DARÁ VITÓRIA AO POVO DE DEUS.

TAMBÉM HÁ LOGÍSTICA ESPECÍFICA A RESPEITO DA IMUNIDADE CONFERIDA SOBRE A FAMÍLIA DE RAABE E SUA FAMÍLIA

O plano de implantação é divulgado para todos os participantes da operação, incluindo Raabe.

Josué 6:22 Josué disse aos dois homens que tinham espionado a terra: “Entrem na casa da prostituta e tirem-na de lá com todos os seus parentes, conforme o juramento que fizeram a ela”.

OS PROTOCOLOS PARA CONCEDER IMUNIDADE À CASA DE RAABE

Josué 2:17-21 Os homens lhe disseram: “Estaremos livres do juramento que você nos levou a fazer

se, quando entrarmos na terra, você não tiver amarrado este cordão vermelho na janela pela qual nos ajudou a descer, e se não tiver trazido para a sua casa o seu pai e a sua mãe, os seus irmãos e toda a sua família. Qualquer pessoa que sair da casa será responsável por sua própria morte; nós seremos inocentes. Mas, seremos responsáveis pela morte de quem estiver na casa com você, caso alguém toque nessa pessoa. E se você contar o que estamos fazendo, estaremos livres do juramento que você nos levou a fazer”. “Seja como vocês disseram”, respondeu Raabe. Assim ela os despediu, e eles partiram. Depois ela amarrou o cordão vermelho na janela.

A imunidade concedida a Raabe foi selada pela sua obediência, fidelidade e pelo sangue (cordão vermelho) na janela. Se Raabe não comunicar a logística aos membros de sua casa e família e trazê-los para sua casa, ela será responsável perante o Senhor por posicionar sua família em perigo. O cordão escarlate também representa a aliança entre os representantes do Senhor e a casa de Raabe. Este não era o momento para a família de Raabe ser encontrada vagando do lado de fora de casa nas ruas. Há Logística a ser implementada se quisermos experimentar a imunidade Divina na casa de Raabe.

Logística são instruções claras; eles não estão escondidos em profecias ou parábolas; eles não requerem interpretação. Eles são claramente comunicados e compreendidos.

Jesus ficou maravilhado com o uso romano da logística:

Mateus 8: 9 Pois também eu sou homem sujeito à autoridade, e tenho soldados às minhas ordens. E eu digo a este, ‘Vá’, e ele vai; e para outro, ‘Venha’, e ele vem; e ao meu servo, ‘Faça isso’, e ele o fará. ” 10 Quando Jesus ouviu isso, ficou maravilhado e disse aos que o seguiam: “Em verdade vos digo que não encontrei tanta fé, nem mesmo em Israel!

Acts 16:16 Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling. 17 This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.” 18 And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour. 19 But when her masters saw that their hope of profit was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to the authorities.

The situation is that this slave girl had a gift that was hugely marketable – the gift of divination. In South Korea, for example, Divination or fortune telling is a 3.7 billion dollar industry. This girl had this gift and it would seem that her masters recognised her gift, and they used her gift for personal enrichment. When the Apostle Paul delivered this slave girl from this spirit, it clearly affected not only the economy of her masters but also the inhabitants of the city. The slave masters saw that their thriving economy was decimated just by one direct command. The apostles did not engage in the reading of tarot cards, or reading the palms of the girl, or the throwing of bones. They clearly functioned with the full authority and power imparted to them by the Lord :

“I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.”

The slave masters were witnessing a supernatural sign following the declaration of Paul. This slave girl was a revenue earner for her masters. She declared accurately concerning Paul and Silas.

“These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.”

Her deliverance activated a chain of retaliatory actions. These apostles were arrested, dragged through the marketplace, brought before the Roman courts, found to be guilty of causing civil unrest and were beaten with rods and were imprisoned in chains. Paul proved his Roman citizenship by birth in a Jewish family in the city of Tarsus within the province of Cilicia (Acts 22:3). Yet this carried no weight concerning a fair trial and hearing to which he was legally entitled. When we are committed to the declaration of truth, we must be mentally strong to endure the unjust treatment of governing administrations that are more intent to avoid civil uprising and are more inclined to hear the voices of the populace, rather than grant Paul, a Roman citizen, one of their own, a fair hearing.

These apostles were zealous as they were experiencing the supernatural in Phillipi; they had recently led an influential family to the Lord, they had just baptized this family of Lydia, a notable woman, a seller of purple. However their acts were seen to be disruptive to the culture and the economy of those slave masters who used the girl’s gift to enrich themselves.

OBSERVE THE DIVINE INTERVENTION

It is amazing to witness the supernatural support from heaven at work; an intervention that put on display the full might and omnipotence of the Lord before their Roman captors. The intensity of our resistance to oppressive and dehumanising regimes, will attract the attention of an omnipotent God. One of the purposes of the anointing upon the life of Jesus is :

“To proclaim liberty to the captives. And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed”

We cannot abdicate the call to preach and teach the Word of the Lord that would convict the hearers to embrace the need for reform. In this scenario, these apostles were on their own – the multitude were against them, the slave masters were against them, the judicial system was against them.

YET THEY CHOSE TO OBSTINATELY, BE PLANTED AND ROOTED IN THEIR FAITH – BELIEVING IN THE ONE THAT THEY WERE PROFESSING AS LORD

Our preaching and teaching should not be intimidated by threats of incarceration by the Romans. Remember that the olive has to be squeezed for the oil to be released. How will we see the emergence of a faithful generation? Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God; Faith and believing is the outcome of our hearing the Word of the Lord.

Jesus Himself asked the question : “When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

Pleasing God demands our faith to arise. We see this unquenchable flame of faith burning in their hearts in prison when the apostles were in chains having endured a thorough beating. The purpose of imprisonment was to break the resolve of Paul and Silas, but listen to this …… God broke the prison!

Paul and Silas chose midnight to begin their prayers and singing hymns. They were determined to make their praises to their God heard; their confidence in an omnipotent God did not diminish having being beaten and incarcerated. Not only did the prisoners hear them, but more importantly, God heard them. The object of our faith, loyalty and covenant has to be able to strengthen us in our most challenging times; this is a general expectation.

Whether it is our faith in God; Faith in our Government; Faith in organisations;Faith in family or Faith in our riches. The place where we invest our faith must be able to encourage and strengthen us in times of distress.

David strengthened himself in the Lord. Ruth strengthened herself in her covenant with Naomi. Esther strengthened herself in aligning herself to the cause of the political struggle and the preservation and emancipation of the Jewish people. Daniel strengthened himself by resolving in his heart not to defile himself by the various demands of the governing structures of Babylon and through prayer. Jesus strengthened himself in the promise and the will of His Father. Governments may trust in their massive military infrastructure and in their competence in warfare. Others may have faith and trust in their chariots and horses

However, Paul and Silas, their faith rested securely in the timely intervention of an Omnipotent, Almighty God. They may have strengthened themselves by remembering the words of the psalmist, which declared :

“Whom have I in heaven but You?” My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever” or in ….

Psalms 94: 9 He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see?

In times of great adversity, we choose to meditate upon scriptures like these ……

Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Paul and Silas strengthened their faith by singing hymns and praises that show the faithfulness of their God to deliver His people. The Lord must show up! He did, through nature.

He shook the earth, yet no one was harmed nor was there any loss of life. This clearly was the visitation of God that shook the Roman prison and judicial system. Let us continue to believe and trust God to deliver us from this pandemic, as well as every challenge that may be afflicting His people. Our hope remains in Him. He is mighty to save.

Essa moça seguia a Paulo e a nós, gritando: “Estes homens são servos do Deus Altíssimo e lhes anunciam o caminho da salvação”. Ela continuou fazendo isso por muitos dias. Finalmente, Paulo ficou indignado, voltou-se e disse ao espírito: “Em nome de Jesus Cristo eu lhe ordeno que saia dela! ” No mesmo instante o espírito a deixou. Percebendo que a sua esperança de lucro tinha se acabado, os donos da escrava agarraram Paulo e Silas e os arrastaram para a praça principal, diante das autoridades.

A situação é que essa escrava tinha um dom extremamente comercializável – o dom da adivinhação. Na Coreia do Sul, por exemplo, a adivinhação é uma indústria de 3,7 bilhões de dólares. Esta menina tinha esse dom e parece que seus mestres reconheceram seu dom, e usaram seu dom para enriquecimento pessoal. Quando o apóstolo Paulo libertou essa escrava desse espírito, isso afetou claramente não apenas a economia de seus senhores, mas também os habitantes da cidade. Os senhores de escravos viram que sua economia próspera foi dizimada apenas por um comando direto. Os apóstolos não se engajaram na leitura de cartas de tarô, ou na leitura das palmas das mãos da menina, ou no lançamento de ossos. Eles claramente funcionavam com toda a autoridade e poder que o Senhor lhes concedeu:

Não podemos abdicar do chamado para pregar e ensinar a Palavra do Senhor que convenceria os ouvintes a aceitar a necessidade de reforma. Nesse cenário, esses apóstolos estavam por conta própria – a multidão estava contra eles, os senhores de escravos eram contra eles, o sistema judiciário era contra eles.

AINDA ESCOLHERAM OBSTINAMENTE, SER PLANTADO E ENRAIZADO NA SUA FÉ – ACREDITANDO NAQUELE QUE ERA PROFESSANDO COMO SENHOR

Nossa pregação e ensino não devem ser intimidados por ameaças de prisão pelos romanos. Lembre-se que a azeitona tem que ser espremida para que o azeite saia. Como veremos o surgimento de uma geração fiel? A fé vem por ouvir e ouvir a Palavra de Deus; Fé e fé são o resultado de ouvirmos a Palavra do Senhor.

O próprio Jesus fez a pergunta: “Quando o Filho do Homem vier, ele realmente encontrará fé na terra?”

Agradar a Deus exige que nossa fé apareça. Vemos essa chama inextinguível de fé queimando em seus corações na prisão quando os apóstolos estavam acorrentados por terem sofrido uma surra total. O propósito da prisão era quebrar a resolução de Paulo e Silas, mas ouça isso … Deus quebrou a prisão!

Paulo e Silas escolheram a meia-noite para começar suas orações e cantar hinos. Eles estavam decididos a fazer com que seus louvores a Deus fossem ouvidos; sua confiança em um Deus onipotente não diminuiu por terem sido espancados e encarcerados. Não apenas os prisioneiros os ouviram, mas o mais importante, Deus os ouviu. O objeto de nossa fé, lealdade e aliança deve ser capaz de nos fortalecer em nossos momentos mais desafiadores; esta é uma expectativa geral.

Quer seja a nossa fé em Deus; Fé em nosso governo; Fé nas organizações; Fé na família ou Fé nas nossas riquezas. O lugar onde investimos nossa fé deve ser capaz de nos encorajar e fortalecer em tempos de aflição.

Davi se fortaleceu no Senhor. Rute se fortaleceu em sua aliança com Noemi. Ester se fortaleceu ao se alinhar à causa da luta política e à preservação e emancipação do povo judeu. Daniel se fortaleceu decidindo em seu coração não se contaminar pelas várias demandas das estruturas governamentais da Babilônia e por meio da oração. Jesus se fortaleceu na promessa e na vontade de Seu pai. Os governos podem confiar em sua enorme infraestrutura militar e em sua competência na guerra. Outros podem ter fé e confiança em suas carruagens e cavalos

No entanto, Paulo e Silas, sua fé repousava com segurança na intervenção oportuna de um Deus Onipotente e Todo-Poderoso. Eles podem ter se fortalecido lembrando-se das palavras do salmista, que declarou:

“Quem tenho eu no céu senão você?” Minha carne e meu coração desfalecem; Mas Deus é a força do meu coração e minha porção para sempre ”

Salmo 94:9 Será que quem fez o ouvido não ouve? Será que quem formou o olho não vê?

Em tempos de grandes adversidades, optamos por meditar sobre escrituras como essas …

Mateus 10:28 Não tenham medo dos que matam o corpo, mas não podem matar a alma. Antes, tenham medo daquele que pode destruir tanto a alma como o corpo no inferno.

Paulo e Silas fortaleceram sua fé cantando hinos e louvores que mostram a fidelidade de seu Deus em libertar Seu povo. O Senhor deve aparecer! Ele o fez, por meio da natureza.

Ele sacudiu a terra, mas ninguém foi ferido nem houve qualquer perda de vida. Esta foi claramente a visitação de Deus que abalou a prisão romana e o sistema judicial. Vamos continuar a acreditar e confiar que Deus nos livrará desta pandemia, bem como de todos os desafios que possam estar afligindo Seu povo. Nossa esperança permanece Nele. Ele é poderoso para salvar.

We continue to talk about the Leadership model of David concerning Kingdom governance. The desired intended outcome is to train and equip believers who will demonstrate a heart after God, His Word and His nature; who understand the importance of consolidating the structures of the priesthood with the structures of governance and rulership that would enable and empower believers to rule from the midst of their enemies.

In Psalms 110 we see David as a prophet, priest and king

Psalms 110:1 The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”2 The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies! 3 Your people shall be volunteers. In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth.

When David went against Goliath he told the giant who terrorised the Israeli armed forces :

1 Samuel 17:45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

The Hebrew word for “Lord” here is : yehōwāh: A noun meaning God. The word refers to the proper name of the God of Israel, particularly the name by which He revealed Himself to Moses (Exodus 6:2, 3) (extracted from CWS Dictionaries)

The Hebrew word for the second mention of the word “Lord” in Psalms 110:1 is

ādôn: A masculine noun meaning lord or master. The most frequent usage is of a human lord, but it is also used of divinity. Generally, it refers more to authority rather than ownership. When used of humans, it refers to authority over slaves. (extracted from CWS Dictionaries)

The Apostle Paul would refer to himself as a bondservant of Christ.

Romans 1: 1 Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God

The Greek word for “bondservant” is : doúlos; A slave, one who is in a permanent relation of servitude to another, his will being altogether consumed in the will of the other (Matthew 8:9; 20:27; 24:45, 46). Generally one serving, bound to serve, in bondage

In the light these original word translations, let us examine the opening words of David in Psalm 110:1

“The Lord said to my Lord”

This is Jehovah addressing His Son Jesus, or God the Eternal Father talking with His Son

David was witnessing in the Spirit, the Eternal Father and His Son in a conversation, with Jesus, our High Priest and Advocate, representing David before the Eternal Father. David had an absolute, unshakeable faith that he had a proxy, his Rock Jesus, representing him as an Advocate would before the Eternal Father.

Our position regarding Divine conversations and the conveyance of “proceeding words and revelations” by the Holy Spirit to believers is supported by the scripture where Jesus Himself declares :

John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. 16 “A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father.”

David received what we would call in this present day a “proceeding revelation” – that which has been Divinely communicated and carried by the Holy Spirit, which Jesus confirmed over one thousand years later. This reveals clearly what David believed; that the Lord sees clearly all the works of our enemies.

This is reflected in David’s words when he declares to the men who wanted to be helpers and volunteers (Verse 3) that their activities within his sphere of governance will automatically be subject to Divine scrutiny.

1 Chronicles 12:17 And David went out to meet them, and answered and said to them, “If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look and bring judgment.”

Thousands of years later, Jesus had just silenced the Saducees, and He is now engaging the Pharisees who had gathered together with the intention of entrapping or entangling Him in His teachings.

How can David call his descendant Lord?

Matthew 22:41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 saying, “What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?” They said to Him, “The Son of David.” 43 He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying: 44 ‘The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool” ’? 45 If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?” 46 And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore.

David knew that there is a ROCK that is higher than himself; that it had been prophesied that the Messiah would emerge through his family genealogy. But David also understood that the Messiah would be sent from above; that he would be able to resist and overcome all the natural inclinations to sin that would lead to the moral, ethical and spiritual violations of the majority of kings and leaders of Israel. Jesus would be blameless.

David knew that the Messiah, Saviour and Redeemer of humanity would be God Himself visiting the earth in human form. The Pharisees could only see the “human form” of Jesus without discerning His divinity.

We know that Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father and that believers are seated with Him. This remains our spiritual reality. Believers are privy to classified information through the ministry of the Holy Spirit who listens attentively to conversations between the Eternal Father and His Son.

David received a “transcript” of the conversation between the Eternal Father and His Son through the agency of the Spirit of God.

“Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”

The right hand is a symbol of Honor, a place of great trust; it is a place where there are multiple transactions of grace

PSALMS 110 DECLARES THAT THERE WILL BE ENEMIES

An enemy of David is the enemy of the Lord. As explained earlier, God has a vested interest in the administration of David that would be the conduit to present His Son, Immanuel, “God with us” as a gift of God for the salvation and redemption of humanity. It does not matter how anointed a man of God is, does not matter how much a leader’s heart is after God, it does not matter how great your exploits were, it does not matter that you brought the Ark into the city….. The reality is that there will be enemies of the truth of the gospel, enemies against the call of the Lord to come up higher. Success attracts enemies.

The instruction from the Word is to be seated at the right hand of the Father and rule from the epicentre of adversity and hostility; rule from the midst of our enemies; from the midst of wickedness. The Lord has prepared a table for David in his enemies’ presence

Psalms 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

The Davidic company will experience a strange, supernatural phenomenon; whilst being positioned to rule in the midst of his enemies, David will simultaneously experience the goodness, mercy and a anointing from above to rule and govern.

David’s most venomous enemies were members of his own household. Jesus would have been more explicit in His description of this people – Jesus would have called them “A Brood of vipers”. The Father’s instruction to His Son was this simple command : “Sit at My right hand” until I make Your enemies Your footstool. The Father is declaring to His Son that the Son’s place of safety is at His right hand.

Although this is a promise to Jesus from the Father, believers also share in this same promise because we are seated with Christ. This is the believer’s spiritual reality

We died with Him, we have been buried with Him and we have been resurrected with Him, and now we are seated with Him.

All types, shadows and representative structures on the earth, especially the Father/son wineskin, need to align their leadership models to reflect the integrity of the administration of David. Spiritual sons need to take up their rightful seats with Christ at the right hand of the father.

Quando Davi foi contra Golias, ele disse ao gigante que aterrorizava as forças armadas de Israel:

1 Samuel 17:45 E Davi disse ao filisteu: “Você vem contra mim com espada, com lança e com dardo, mas eu vou contra você em nome do Senhor dos Exércitos, o Deus dos exércitos de Israel, a quem você desafiou.

Este é Jeová se dirigindo a Seu Filho Jesus, ou Deus, o Pai Eterno, falando com Seu Filho

Davi estava testemunhando no Espírito, o Pai Eterno e Seu Filho em uma conversa, com Jesus, nosso Sumo Sacerdote e Advogado, representando Davi perante o Pai Eterno. Davi tinha uma fé absoluta e inabalável de que tinha um procurador, sua Rocha Jesus, representando-o como um Advogado faria perante o Pai Eterno.

Nossa posição a respeito das conversas Divinas e a transmissão de “palavras e revelações procedentes” pelo Espírito Santo aos cristãos é apoiada pela escritura onde o próprio Jesus declara:

João 16:13-16 Mas quando o Espírito da verdade vier, ele os guiará a toda a verdade. Não falará de si mesmo; falará apenas o que ouvir, e lhes anunciará o que está por vir. Ele me glorificará, porque receberá do que é meu e o tornará conhecido a vocês. Tudo o que pertence ao Pai é meu. Davi recebeu o que hoje chamaríamos de “revelação contínua” – aquela que foi divinamente comunicada e conduzida pelo Espírito Santo, que Jesus confirmou mil anos depois. Isso revela claramente no que Davi acreditava; que o Senhor vê claramente todas as obras de nossos inimigos.

Isso se reflete nas palavras de Davi quando ele declara aos homens que queriam ser ajudantes e voluntários (versículo 3) que suas atividades dentro de sua esfera de governo estarão automaticamente sujeitas ao uma pesquisa minuciosa Divina.

1 Crônicas 12:17 Davi saiu ao encontro deles e lhes disse: “Se vocês vieram em paz, para me ajudarem, estou pronto para recebê-los. Mas, se querem trair-me e entregar-me aos meus inimigos quando minhas mãos não cometeram violência, que o Deus de nossos antepassados veja isso e julgue vocês”.

Milhares de anos depois, Jesus acabara de silenciar os saduceus e agora está envolvendo os fariseus que se reuniram com a intenção de prendê-Lo ou embaraça-Lo em Seus ensinamentos.

Como Davi pode chamar seu descendente de Senhor?

Mateus 22:41-46 Estando os fariseus reunidos, Jesus lhes perguntou: “O que vocês pensam a respeito do Cristo? De quem ele é filho? ” “É filho de Davi”, responderam eles. Ele lhes disse: “Então, como é que Davi, falando pelo Espírito, o chama ‘Senhor’? Pois ele afirma: ‘O Senhor disse ao meu Senhor: “Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha os teus inimigos debaixo de teus pés” ’. David sabia que existe uma ROCHA que é superior a ele; que havia sido profetizado que o Messias surgiria por meio de sua genealogia familiar. Mas Davi também entendeu que o Messias seria enviado do alto; que ele seria capaz de resistir e superar todas as inclinações naturais para o pecado que levariam às violações morais, éticas e espirituais da maioria dos reis e líderes de Israel. Jesus seria inocente.

Davi sabia que o Messias, Salvador e Redentor da humanidade seria o próprio Deus visitando a terra em forma humana. Os fariseus só podiam ver a “forma humana” de Jesus sem discernir Sua divindade.

Sabemos que Cristo está sentado à direita do Pai e que os crentes estão sentados com ele. Esta continua sendo nossa realidade espiritual. Os crentes têm acesso a informações confidenciais por meio do ministério do Espírito Santo, que ouve atentamente as conversas entre o Pai Eterno e Seu Filho.

David recebeu uma “transcrição” da conversa entre o Pai Eterno e Seu Filho por meio do Espírito de Deus.

A mão direita é um símbolo de honra, um lugar de grande confiança; é um lugar onde existem várias transações de graça

Um inimigo de Davi é o inimigo do Senhor. Conforme explicado anteriormente, Deus tem um interesse pessoal na administração de Davi que seria o canal para apresentar Seu Filho, Emanuel, “Deus conosco”, como um presente de Deus para a salvação e redenção da humanidade. Não importa o quão ungido um homem de Deus seja, não importa o quanto o coração de um líder está atrás de Deus, não importa quão grandes foram suas façanhas, não importa que você trouxe a Arca para a cidade … a realidade é que haverá inimigos da verdade do evangelho, inimigos contra o chamado do Senhor para subir mais alto. O sucesso atrai inimigos.

A instrução da Palavra deve estar assentada à destra do Pai e governar desde o epicentro da adversidade e hostilidade; governar do meio de nossos inimigos; do meio da maldade. O Senhor preparou uma mesa para Davi na presença de seus inimigos

Salmos 23:5 Preparas um banquete para mim à vista dos meus inimigos. Tu me honras, ungindo a minha cabeça com óleo e fazendo transbordar o meu cálice.

A companhia davídica experimentará um fenômeno estranho e sobrenatural; embora esteja posicionado para governar no meio de seus inimigos, Davi experimentará simultaneamente a bondade, a misericórdia e a unção de cima para regulamentar e governar.

Os inimigos mais venenosos de Davi eram membros de sua própria casa. Jesus teria sido mais explícito em Sua descrição deste povo – Jesus os teria chamado de “Raça de víboras”. A instrução do Pai para Seu Filho foi este comando simples: “Senta-te à minha direita” até que eu faça dos teus inimigos o seu estrado. O Pai está declarando a Seu Filho que o lugar seguro do Filho está à Sua direita.

Embora esta seja uma promessa do Pai a Jesus, os crentes também compartilham dessa mesma promessa porque estamos assentados com Cristo. Esta é a realidade espiritual do crente

Nós morremos com Ele, fomos sepultados com Ele e ressuscitamos com Ele, e agora estamos sentados com Ele.

Todos os tipos, sombras e estruturas representativas na terra, especialmente o odre pai / filho, precisam alinhar seus modelos de liderança para refletir a integridade da administração de David.

Os filhos espirituais precisam ocupar seus lugares de direito com Cristo à direita do pai.
