IS THERE NO GOD IN ISRAEL?
2 Kings 1:2-3
Now Ahaziah fell through the lattice of his upper room in Samaria, and was injured; so he sent messengers and said to them, “Go, inquire of Baal- Zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I shall recover from this injury.” 3 But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, “Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say to them, ‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal- Zebub, the god of Ekron? ’
The single most precious treasure that God has gifted us with is the entirety of His Word which is the truth which is the Christ.
The sad reality is that believers are turning to the world for solutions…..
Because the kings (leaders) of the church have defaulted to the operating systems of the Philistines.
The faith of believers have become seriously eroded and in some instances non existent. They have succumbed to alternative counsel as they have come crashing through the lattice from the upper room.
The question is this : ” Is there no God in Israel?”
The angel of the Lord had to interrupt the sleep of Elijah, the prophet of God.
The angel demanded that Elijah must arise. Sadly many of those that have been entrusted with the Word of God have gone into a state of deep slumber.
The challenge to Elijah is to intercept the messengers of the king…….. To remind the messengers of the cities and the nations of the world that there is a God in Israel. We should not default to the counsel of the Philistines in a time of distress. God’s Word does not return void or unfulfilled.
Where we seek our counsel and our instruction in a crisis is a reflection of the development of the Word in us. Faith is the finished product of a continuous exposure to the hearing of the Word of God.
The question must be asked of all servants of a Most High God….
Whose prophet are you?
Exact representation includes representing the mood of God.
Are you a prophet of an institution?
Are you a prophet of a partisan fraternal?
Are you a prophet of a cult?
Jeremiah 51:8-10
Babylon has suddenly fallen and been destroyed. Wail for her! Take balm for her pain; Perhaps she may be healed.
9 We would have healed Babylon, But she is not healed.
Forsake her, and let us go everyone to his own country;
For her judgment reaches to heaven and is lifted up to the skies.
10 The Lord has revealed our righteousness.
Come and let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord our God.
Arise all you prophets of the Lord …. Go and intercept those that seek the counsel from the god of Ekron.

Será que não há Deus em Israel?
2 Reis 1: 2-3
2 Ora, Acazias caiu pela grade do seu quarto alto em Samária, e adoeceu; e enviou mensageiros, dizendo-lhes: Ide, e perguntai a Baal-Zebube, deus de Ecrom, se sararei desta doença.
3 O anjo do Senhor, porém, disse a Elias, o tisbita: Levanta- te, sobe para te encontrares com os mensageiros do rei de Samária, e dize-lhes: Porventura não há Deus em Israel, para irdes consultar a Baal-Zebube, deus de Ecrom?
O único tesouro mais precioso que Deus deu-nos é a totalidade da Sua Palavra que é a verdade, que é o Cristo.
A triste realidade é que os crentes estão se voltando para o mundo de soluções …..
Porque os reis (líderes) da igreja não tiver cumprido com os sistemas operacionais dos filisteus.
A fé dos crentes tornaram-se seriamente corroída e em alguns casos, inexistente. Eles sucumbiram ao conselho alternativa como eles vieram bater através da grade da sala superior.
A questão é esta: “Será que não há Deus em Israel?”
O anjo do Senhor, teve que interromper o sono de Elias, o profeta de Deus.
O anjo exigiu que Elias deve surgir. Infelizmente muitos daqueles que foram confiados com a Palavra de Deus ter ido em um estado de sono profundo.
O desafio para Elijah é interceptar os mensageiros do rei …….. Para lembrar os mensageiros das cidades e as nações do mundo que há um Deus em Israel. Não devemos usar como padrão para o conselho dos filisteus em um momento de angústia. A Palavra de Deus não volta vazia ou não cumprida.
Onde buscamos o nosso conselho e nossa instrução em uma crise é um reflexo do desenvolvimento da Palavra em nós. A fé é o produto final de uma exposição contínua ao ouvir a Palavra de Deus.
A pergunta deve ser feita de todos os servos de um Deus Altíssimo ….
Cujo profeta é você?
Representação exata inclui representando o estado de espírito de Deus.
Você é um profeta de uma instituição?
Você é um profeta de uma fraterna partidária?
Você é um profeta de uma seita?
Jeremias 51: 8-10
8 Repentinamente caiu Babilônia, e ficou arruinada; uivai sobre ela; tomai bálsamo para a sua dor, talvez sare.
9 Queríamos sarar Babilônia, ela, porém, não sarou; abandonai- a, e vamo-nos, cada qual para a sua terra; pois o seu julgamento chega até o céu, e se eleva até as mais altas nuvens.
10 O Senhor trouxe à luz a nossa justiça; vinde e anunciemos em Sião a obra do Senhor nosso Deus.
Levanta-te tudo o que você profetas do Senhor …. Vá e interceptar aqueles que procuram o conselho do deus de Ecrom. Faça esta pergunta … Será que não há Deus em Israel?
