Last week I shared with you my understanding of the leadership model of Joseph which is an inclusive model. In my notes on the subject, I have cited other cross references to this model.
I said clearly that Joseph told his brothers to bring back Benjamin and his father. If these brothers did not comply, they would be exposed to the ravages of the famine for a further 5 years.

Jesus is teaching Kingdom principles in Matthew 22
The outcome that the King desired was that his targeted audience would respond affirmatively to his invitation . He says The Kingdom of Heaven is like ….
Matthew 22:1-10
1 And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son,
I will use some types and shadows to bring clear emphasis to some key areas in our understanding.
We can interpret this parable in various ways.
Allow me to present my interpretation and understanding of the role players in this parable.
The King is a picture of The Lord our God as the King.
Son here can be interpreted as the image of Israel, the first born Son of God , the corporate Son. Exodus 4 identifies Israel as the first born Son.
Exodus 4:22-23
22 Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the LORD: “Israel is My son, My firstborn. 23 So I say to you, let My son go that he may serve Me. But if you refuse to let him go, indeed I will kill your son, your firstborn.”
Revelation 19:7
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”
True and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.”
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
Babylon was drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus
Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters
The wedding here would represent the covenant that the Lord desires to enter into with His people. There is a great expectation to witness the covenant between Christ and His church (spiritual Israel). This would be an event filled with elaborate festivities, singing and dancing.
All that the invitees were expected to bring to this wedding was the “kimcha” – which means joy in Hebrew

3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come.
I want to talk this morning about the critical demand for effective and clear communication concerning this life changing, direction changing, iconic, and in many ways crossing the rubicon experience. There would be no turning back.
The ratification of an “abiding, until death and beyond death into time eternal” type of covenant between God and His people. In times of trials and afflictions, and in times of great joy this covenant will stand the test of time.
It is to this celebration, witnessing and ratification that God’s Servants were sent out to announce and communicate to a targeted audience, God’s people. They went out with a specific message. But they failed to achieve the desired outcome in their communication. The Jews, God’s chosen family, rejected the invitation to enter into an abiding relationship with God.
I want to draw your attention to the traditions of some cultures, both Jews and Indian cultures. I want to take you back some 50 years although these practices are still valid today.
The success of the event will be determined by the number of people who attended the wedding
It would be considered an offense if you did not respond to the invitation. The parents would come with an invitation and they will implore you to attend. In the present day we use emails, and the various social platforms to communicate in an instant, an invitation to a select few.
Not so in those days. The invitation applied, without prejudice to the entire family. To have 600-1000 people at a wedding was not uncommon in those days.
Now for this particular case; visualise this. The people of God who represent the bride refuse to show up; she is not willing to enter into a marital covenant with her husband. She wants to prolong her days as a harlot. The very thought of an abiding relationship scares her to death.
4 Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.” ’ 5 But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business.
Although the first attempt was unsuccessful, the King sent out out other messengers who communicated more clearly the importance of the event.
The king (picture of the Lord) sends out other servants, probably those who carry great grace, to go out and try to solicit their cooperation by presenting the great menu at the feast. These men go out carrying more details for the feast. They probably were more gifted in communicating specific details and influencing.
Jesus was greatly impacted when He was presented with the Roman communication system by the centurion. He declared :
“I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!”
It was a very basic system; let me show you on my simple organogram. We cannot send out the town crier for an event like this. Why?
Because it is a targeted audience …. God’s chosen people. There is a DESIRED OUTCOME. Every single person in the family of God must be invited.
The union between God and His people will be publically ratified at this wedding.
Here is the reality of ministry and the act of sending out servants of God. We just need to know that we have done our absolute best in our communication.
The response of the people is not in our hands. The response of the people does not reflect on our leadership ability. There are several secular leadership models today that would teach on how to gather people; sadly, this is not the principal mandate of a man of God, who is committed to representing the heart and mind of the Eternal Father.
If this is the case, then Jesus may be considered a failure as a leader because thousands of people abandoned him; despite all the miracles, signs and wonders, Jesus’ representation of the Father was rejected.
Samuel and all the prophets would be considered failures because God’s people still went into exile.
God had to remind Samuel that the people have not rejected his leadership, they rejected God Himself. This was the accuracy of Samuel’s representation.
I want to encourage all messengers and servants of the Lord today. Let us not question our leadership capabilities when people don’t pursue our righteous instructions. They have rejected God.
They have been distracted by the busyness of their earthly existence.
The King cannot do anything more, except to invite the people. If the people don’t show up
The King is not going to go out and search for them
Joseph’s brothers came to him simply because they had run out of grain. They wanted grain ; but Joseph wanted a family
Matthew 22
6 And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them.
7 But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
Those who were not occupied abused the messengers of the king (messengers of the Lord)
They slew the messengers of the Lord. The Lord sent out the Roman armies, to destroy these wicked men, these haters of covenant and He burned down their city.
We must be careful how we receive messengers who are sent by the Lord
Matthew 22
8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 9 Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ 10 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.
Rejection of the invitation will render the targeted audience to become unworthy. The wedding has a timeline. The invitation is now sent out to everyone. Clear communication is critically important; lives and cities are depending upon it.

Na semana passada, compartilhei com vocês minha compreensão do modelo de liderança de José, que é um modelo inclusivo. Nas minhas notas sobre o assunto, citei outras referências cruzadas para esse modelo.

Jesus está ensinando os princípios do Reino em Mateus 22
O resultado que o rei desejou foi que seu público-alvo respondesse afirmativamente ao seu convite. Ele diz que o Reino dos Céus é como ….
Mateus 22: 1 Então Jesus, tomando a palavra, tornou a falar-lhes em parábolas, dizendo: 2 O Reino dos céus é semelhante a um certo rei que celebrou as bodas de seu filho;
Usarei alguns tipos e sombras para enfatizar claramente algumas áreas-chave em nosso entendimento.
Podemos interpretar essa parábola de várias maneiras.
Permitam-me apresentar minha interpretação e entendimento dos atores desta parábola.
O rei é uma figura do Senhor nosso Deus como o rei.
Filho aqui pode ser interpretado como a imagem de Israel, o primeiro filho de Deus, o Filho corporativo. Êxodo 4 identifica Israel como o primeiro filho nascido.
Êxodo 4: 22 Então dirás a Faraó: Assim diz o Senhor: Israel é meu filho, meu primogênito. 23 E eu te tenho dito: Deixa ir o meu filho, para que me sirva; mas tu recusaste deixá-lo ir; eis que eu matarei a teu filho, o teu primogênito.
Apocalipse 19: 7 Regozijemo-nos, e alegremo-nos, e demos-lhe glória; porque vindas são as bodas do Cordeiro, e já a sua esposa se aprontou.
Verdadeiros e justos são os seus juízos, porque julgou a grande prostituta que corrompeu a terra com sua fornicação; e ele vingou dela o sangue de seus servos derramado por ela. ”
MISTÉRIO, BABILÔNIA, A GRANDE MÃE DAS PROSTITUTAS
Babilônia estava bêbada com o sangue dos santos e com o sangue dos mártires de Jesus
Venha, eu lhe mostrarei o julgamento da grande prostituta que está sentada em muitas águas
O casamento aqui representaria a aliança que o Senhor deseja celebrar com Seu povo. Há uma grande expectativa de testemunhar a aliança entre Cristo e Sua igreja (Israel espiritual). Este seria um evento repleto de festividades elaboradas, cantando e dançando.
Tudo o que os convidados deveriam trazer para este casamento era o “kimcha” – que significa alegria em hebraico
Mateus 22:3 E enviou os seus servos a chamar os convidados para as bodas, e estes não quiseram vir.
Quero falar hoje de manhã sobre a demanda crítica por uma comunicação clara e eficaz sobre essa mudança de vida, mudança de direção, icônica e, de muitas maneiras, atravessando a experiência do Rubicon. Não haveria como voltar atrás.
A ratificação de um pacto “permanente, até a morte e além da morte no tempo eterno” entre Deus e Seu povo. Em tempos de provações e aflições, e em tempos de grande alegria, essa aliança resistirá à prova do tempo.
É para esta celebração, testemunho e ratificação que os Servos de Deus foram enviados para anunciar e comunicar a um público-alvo, o povo de Deus. Eles saíram com uma mensagem específica. Mas eles não conseguiram alcançar o resultado desejado em sua comunicação. Os judeus, a família escolhida por Deus, rejeitaram o convite para entrar em um relacionamento permanente com Deus.
Quero chamar sua atenção para as tradições de algumas culturas, tanto judeus quanto indianas. Quero levá-lo de volta cerca de 50 anos, embora essas práticas ainda sejam válidas hoje.
O sucesso do evento será determinado pelo número de pessoas que compareceram ao casamento
Seria considerado uma ofensa se você não respondesse ao convite. Os pais viriam com um convite e eles implorariam que você comparecesse. Atualmente, usamos e-mails e as várias plataformas sociais para comunicar em um instante, um convite para alguns selecionados.
Não é assim naqueles dias. O convite foi aplicado, sem prejuízo de toda a família. Ter 600-1000 pessoas em um casamento não era incomum naqueles dias.
Agora, para este caso em particular; visualize isso. O povo de Deus que representa a noiva se recusa a aparecer; ela não está disposta a fazer um pacto conjugal com o marido. Ela quer prolongar seus dias como prostituta. O próprio pensamento de um relacionamento permanente a assusta até a morte.
Mateus 22:4 Depois, enviou outros servos, dizendo: Dizei aos convidados: Eis que tenho o meu jantar preparado, os meus bois e cevados já mortos, e tudo já pronto; vinde às bodas. 5 Eles, porém, não fazendo caso, foram, um para o seu campo, outro para o seu negócio;
Embora a primeira tentativa não tenha sido bem-sucedida, o rei enviou outros mensageiros que comunicaram mais claramente a importância do evento.
O rei (figura do Senhor) envia outros servos, provavelmente aqueles que carregam grande graça, para sair e tentar solicitar sua cooperação apresentando o grande cardápio na festa. Esses homens saem carregando mais detalhes para o banquete. Eles provavelmente foram mais talentosos em comunicar detalhes específicos e influenciar.
Jesus teve um grande impacto quando recebeu o centurião o sistema de comunicação romano. Ele declarou :
“Não encontrei tanta fé, nem mesmo em Israel!”
Era um sistema muito básico; deixe-me mostrar-lhe no meu organograma simples. Não podemos enviar o guia da cidade para um evento como esse. Por quê?
Porque é um público-alvo… Povo escolhido de Deus. Existe um resultado desejado. Toda pessoa na família de Deus deve ser convidada.
A união entre Deus e Seu povo será ratificada publicamente neste casamento.
Aqui está a realidade do ministério e o ato de enviar servos de Deus. Só precisamos saber que fizemos o melhor possível em nossa comunicação.
A resposta do povo não está em nossas mãos. A resposta do povo não reflete em nossa capacidade de liderança. Atualmente, existem vários modelos de liderança secular que ensinariam como reunir pessoas; infelizmente, esse não é o principal mandato de um homem de Deus, comprometido em representar o coração e a mente do Pai Eterno.
Se for esse o caso, então Jesus pode ser considerado um fracasso como líder, porque milhares de pessoas o abandonaram; apesar de todos os milagres, sinais e maravilhas, a representação de Jesus do Pai foi rejeitada.
Samuel e todos os profetas seriam considerados fracassos porque o povo de Deus ainda se exilou.
Deus teve que lembrar a Samuel que o povo não rejeitou sua liderança, eles rejeitaram o próprio Deus. Essa foi a precisão da representação de Samuel.
Quero incentivar todos os mensageiros e servos do Senhor hoje. Não questionemos nossas capacidades de liderança quando as pessoas não seguem nossas instruções justas. Eles rejeitaram a Deus.
Eles foram distraídos pela ocupação de sua existência terrena.
O rei não pode fazer mais nada, exceto convidar o povo. Se as pessoas não aparecerem
O rei não vai sair e procurá-los
Os irmãos de José vieram até ele simplesmente porque estavam sem grãos. Eles queriam grãos; mas José queria uma família.
Mateus 22:6 E os outros, apoderando-se dos servos, os ultrajaram e mataram. 7 E o rei, tendo notícia disto, encolerizou-se e, enviando os seus exércitos, destruiu aqueles homicidas, e incendiou a sua cidade.
Os que não estavam ocupados abusaram dos mensageiros do rei (mensageiros do Senhor)
Eles mataram os mensageiros do Senhor. O Senhor enviou os exércitos romanos, para destruir esses homens maus, esses odiadores da aliança e queimou a cidade deles.
Devemos tomar cuidado ao receber mensageiros que são enviados pelo Senhor
Mateus 22:8 Então diz aos servos: As bodas, na verdade, estão preparadas, mas os convidados não eram dignos. 9 Ide, pois, às saídas dos caminhos, e convidai para as bodas a todos os que encontrardes. 10 E os servos, saindo pelos caminhos, ajuntaram todos quantos encontraram, tanto maus como bons; e a festa nupcial foi cheia de convidados.
A rejeição do convite tornará o público-alvo indigno. O casamento tem uma linha do tempo. O convite agora é enviado a todos. A comunicação clara é extremamente importante; vidas e cidades dependem disso.
