There are a multitude of voices that are being heard right now and the Apostle John brings some clarity to this matter :

1 John 4:2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

Jesus made Himself of no reputation, took the form of a bondservant, and came in the likeness of men. Although Jesus was both son of man and son of God on the earth, to the centurion and the multitude, the resurrection of Jesus clearly proved that He was truly the Son of God! Christ disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. If our confidence is in carnal weapons of warfare , Christ will disarm us and make us a public spectacle

The great expectation of creation – is the revealing of sons of God The gravitation of the people of the earth to us will take place when they see the “spirit of the overcomer, the spirit of the Resurrected one dwelling in the sons of men; where no challenge will defeat us; where sickness and the grave does not intimidate us” because we have been raised with Him. This is the confidence and zeal that Paul wrote about in his letter to the believers in Corinth ……

1 Corinthians 15:13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. 14 And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. 15 Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. 16 For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. 17 And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!

Our ability to rise from critical challenges is an advertisement and proclamation of the death and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The believer’s confidence and assurance is in the fact that Christ rose from the dead. If he did not, then it means that we are still in our sinful state. But we thank God that Jesus fulfilled every prophecy about Him – this morning all those who live, move and have our being in Him walk free from all condemnation and judgement. Remember that the stone was rolled away……The stone is a symbol of judgement and condemnation

However this morning I would like to focus on the assignment of Jesus on the earth. Let us examine Jesus’ final moments at the Cross……….

The gospel of John declares

“IT IS FINISHED”

Matthew 27:50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. 51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. 54 So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!”

John 19:30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

The last words that Jesus would utter in the gospel of John would be “It is finished”

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR

This is a method used in the secular world concerning the effectiveness of an employee.

A brief definition of the term KPI

“Value measurement indicator that demonstrates how effective we are in our sphere of function”

Jesus is the gold standard for Sonship – He is the Perfect Son of God. Our value and effectiveness in the Kingdom is determined by our performance against our gold standard who is Christ Himself.

There can be no other standard of measurement in the Body of Christ. We must be mindful that we were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from our aimless conduct received by tradition from our fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

When we study His ministry on earth, it clearly reveals our own doubts, causing us to declare like the centurion…….

“Truly, this was the Son of God”

As we seek to grow in our Sonship, there are clear principles here that establish the standard. Jesus declared that He had completed His assignment. He atoned for our sins; Everything that was expected of Him and prophesied about Him, He had done

John 17: 4 I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.

One of His goals as the Son of God was to glorify the name of the Father on the earth.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,

Although Jesus Christ the Son of God is equal with God the Father….. He deferred and deflected the Glory and the Honor to His Father. These are lessons that we can all learn from. He voluntarily chose to be seen as a son of man, like a bondservant, rather than son of God. He was obedient to the point of death – whatever doubts he may have had, He reserved them for the loneliness of Gethsemane. As sons of God , we must pray to the Father that we can evolve in our sonship to demonstrate the class of Jesus. Exaltation of the son follows this level of humility and suffering.

Let us declare like Jesus “ It is finished”

Colossians 2:12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

What else did Jesus finish?

John 17:6 “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

Jesus revealed the nature and the attributes of His Father to His disciples. These disciples are a gift from the Father. We note that Jesus places emphasis on the disciples keeping the Word. He is informing His Father that the disciples have matured into doers of the Word.

What else did Jesus finish?

John 17:7 Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You.

John 3:27 John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.

The disciples of Jesus are fully knowledgeable about this. The power of the resurrection is released when our sonship evolves to this place. We must also witness these things….. those of us who have “fallen asleep” in our calling or any other area in our lives would become animated by the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead.

John 17:14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

JESUS DECLARES THAT THE DOCTRINE HE IS TEACHING IS NOT HIS, BUT HIS FATHER’S

John 7:16 Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. 18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.

JESUS – O PADRÃO DE OURO

Há uma multidão de vozes que estão sendo ouvidas agora e o apóstolo João traz alguma clareza a esse assunto:

Jesus se fez sem reputação, assumiu a forma de servo e veio à semelhança dos homens. Embora Jesus fosse filho do homem e filho de Deus na terra, para o centurião e a multidão, a ressurreição de Jesus provou claramente que Ele era verdadeiramente o Filho de Deus! Cristo desarmou principados e poderes; Ele fez um espetáculo público deles, triunfando sobre eles nele. Se nossa confiança estiver nas armas carnais de guerra, Cristo nos desarmará e nos fará um espetáculo público.

A grande expectativa da criação – é a revelação dos filhos de Deus. A gatração do povo da Terra para nós ocorrerá quando eles virem o “espírito do vencedor, o espírito do Ressuscitado, que habita nos filhos dos homens; onde nenhum desafio nos derrotará; onde doenças e sepulturas não nos intimidam ”porque fomos criados com ele. Essa é a confiança e o zelo que Paulo escreveu em sua carta aos crentes em Corinto …

1 Coríntios 15:13 Mas se não há ressurreição de mortos, então Cristo não ressuscitou; 14 e, se Cristo não ressuscitou, então é vã a nossa pregação, e também é vã a vossa fé. 15 Sim, e somos considerados como falsas testemunhas de Deus, pois testificamos de Deus, que ressuscitou a Cristo, ao qual ele não ressuscitou, se é que os mortos não ressuscitam. 16 Porque, se os mortos não ressuscitam, então Cristo não ressuscitou; 17 e, se Cristo não ressuscitou, a vossa fé é vã, e ainda estais nos vossos pecados.

Nossa capacidade de superar desafios críticos é uma propaganda e proclamação da morte e da ressurreição de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo. A confiança e segurança do crente está no fato de que Cristo ressuscitou dos mortos. Se ele não o fez, significa que ainda estamos em nosso estado pecaminoso. Mas agradecemos a Deus que Jesus cumpriu todas as profecias sobre Ele – nesta manhã, todos os que vivem, se movem e têm o nosso ser nele andam livres de toda condenação e julgamento. Lembre-se de que a pedra foi removida. A pedra é um símbolo de julgamento e condenação

O evangelho de João declara

“ESTÁ CONSUMADO”

Mateus 27:50 Jesus, novamente bradando em alta voz, rendeu o espírito. 51 E eis que o véu do templo se rasgou em dois, de alto a baixo; e tremeu a terra, e fenderam-se as rochas; 52 e os sepulcros se abriram, e muitos corpos de santos que dormiam foram ressuscitados; 53 e, saindo dos sepulcros, depois da sua ressurreição, entraram na cidade santa, e apareceram a muitos. 54 Ora, o centurião e os que com ele guardavam a Jesus, vendo o terremoto e as coisas que haviam sucedido, tiveram grande temor, e disseram: Verdadeiramente este era o Filho de Deus.

João 19:30 Quando Jesus tomou o vinagre, disse: Está consumado; e ele, inclinando a cabeça, entregou o espírito.

As últimas palavras que Jesus teria pronunciado no evangelho de João seriam “Está consumado”

INDICADOR CHAVE DE DESEMPENHO (KPI)

Este é um método usado no mundo secular em relação à eficácia de um funcionário.

Uma breve definição do termo KPI

“Indicador de medição de valor que demonstra a eficácia de nossa esfera de função”

Jesus é o padrão ouro para a filiação – Ele é o Filho Perfeito de Deus. Nosso valor e eficácia no Reino são determinados por nosso desempenho em relação ao nosso padrão ouro, que é o próprio Cristo.

Não pode haver outro padrão de medida no Corpo de Cristo. Devemos ter consciência de que não fomos redimidos com coisas corruptíveis, como prata ou ouro, de nossa conduta sem objetivo recebida pela tradição de nossos pais, mas com o precioso sangue de Cristo, como de um cordeiro sem defeito e sem mancha.

Quando estudamos Seu ministério na Terra, isso revela claramente nossas próprias dúvidas, fazendo-nos declarar como o centurião.

“Verdadeiramente, este era o Filho de Deus”

À medida que procuramos crescer em nossa Filiação, há princípios claros aqui que estabelecem o padrão. Jesus declarou que havia completado Sua designação. Ele expiou nossos pecados; Tudo o que se esperava dele e profetizou sobre ele, ele havia feito

João 17: 4 Eu glorifiquei-te na terra; eu completei a obra que me deste para fazer.

Um de seus objetivos como o Filho de Deus era glorificar o nome do Pai na terra.

Filipenses 2: 5 Que haja em vós a mesma mente que houve também em Cristo Jesus: 6 Que, sendo em forma de Deus, não teve por usurpação ser igual a Deus. 7 Mas fez-se sem reputação, tomando sobre si a forma de um servo, fazendo-se semelhante aos homens. 8 E, achado na forma de homem, humilhou-se a si mesmo, sendo obediente até a morte, e morte de cruz. 9 Pelo que também Deus o exaltou soberanamente e lhe deu um nome que está acima de todo nome,

Embora Jesus Cristo, o Filho de Deus, seja igual a Deus Pai … Ele adiou e desviou a Glória e a Honra ao Pai. Essas são lições das quais todos podemos aprender. Ele escolheu voluntariamente ser visto como filho do homem, como servo, em vez de filho de Deus. Ele foi obediente a ponto de morrer – quaisquer dúvidas que ele tivesse, ele as reservou para a solidão do Getsêmani. Como filhos de Deus, devemos orar ao Pai para que possamos evoluir em nossa filiação para demonstrar a classe de Jesus. A exaltação do filho segue esse nível de humildade e sofrimento.

João 17: 6 Eu tenho manifestado o teu nome aos homens que do mundo tu me deste. Eles foram teus, e tu deste a mim; e eles guardaram a tua palavra.

Jesus revelou a natureza e os atributos de seu pai a seus discípulos. Esses discípulos são um presente do Pai. Observamos que Jesus coloca ênfase nos discípulos que guardam a Palavra. Ele está informando ao Pai que os discípulos amadureceram como praticantes da Palavra.

João 17: 7 Agora eles sabem que todas as coisas que me tens dado provêm de ti.

João 3:27 João respondeu e disse: O homem não pode receber coisa alguma, se lhe não for dada do céu.

Os discípulos de Jesus têm pleno conhecimento disso. O poder da ressurreição é liberado quando nossa filiação evolui para este lugar. Também devemos testemunhar essas coisas … aqueles que “adormeceram” em nosso chamado ou em qualquer outra área de nossas vidas ficariam animados pelo mesmo espírito que ressuscitou Jesus dentre os mortos.

João 17:14 Eu dei-lhes a tua palavra, e o mundo os odiou, porque eles não são do mundo, assim como eu não sou do mundo.

JESUS DECLARA QUE A DOUTRINA QUE ESTÁ ENSINANDO NÃO É SUA, MAS SEU PAI

João 7:16 Jesus respondeu e disse-lhes: A minha doutrina não é minha, mas daquele que me enviou. 17 Se algum homem quiser fazer a vontade dele, há de saber da doutrina, se ela é de Deus, ou se falo de mim mesmo. 18 Quem fala de si mesmo busca a sua própria glória; mas o que busca a glória daquele que o enviou, esse é verdadeiro, e não há nele injustiça.
