THE SWORD OF THE MOUTH OF THE LORD

Revelation 2:16

16 Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.

The message to the leader of the church in the city of Pergamos was to repent,

If the leader fails to repent, the Lord will go to the church and fight the the philosophies and practices of that church.

No believer is above or beyond the Word of the Lord. Every creature is accountable.

Hebrews 4:13

13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

How does the Lord fight with His sword?

The sword of the Lord is the Word of the Lord

A double edged sword (Hebrews 4:12)

The oracle that God would use is His servant – the preacher

The Word of the Lord in the mouth of the servant of God fights and dismantles principalities and strongholds.

This process is motivated by the love of the Lord for His church and His Body.

Allow truth (Christ and His Word) to be our place of habitation.

A ESPADA DA BOCA DO SENHOR

Apocalipse 2:16

16 Arrepende-te, pois; ou se não, virei a ti em breve, e contra eles batalharei com a espada da minha boca. 

A mensagem ao líder da igreja na cidade de Pérgamo era arrepender-se.

Se o líder não se arrepender, o Senhor irá à igreja e lutará contra as filosofias e práticas dessa igreja.

Nenhum crente está acima ou além da Palavra do Senhor. Toda criatura é responsável (contável).

Hebreus 4:13

13 E não há criatura alguma encoberta diante dele; antes todas as coisas estão nuas e patentes aos olhos daquele a quem havemos de prestar contas.   

Como o Senhor luta com a espada?

A espada do Senhor é a Palavra do Senhor

Uma espada de dois gumes (Hebreus 4:12)

O oráculo que Deus usaria é Seu servo – o pregador

A Palavra do Senhor na boca do servo de Deus luta e desmantela principados e fortalezas.

Esse processo é motivado pelo amor do Senhor por Sua igreja e Seu Corpo.

Permita que a verdade (Cristo e Sua Palavra) seja nosso local de habitação.
