The Spirit of the Lord has been ministering to us concerning the waters that the prophet Ezekiel saw flowing from under the Temple (symbol of the Body of Christ)
Waters that started their flow from under the Temple, gradually increasing their depth until they could not be crossed…..
Accompanying this flow would be healing and the impartation of life and abundance
All of us have engaged this River at various levels that is relative to our confidence.
But in the midst of this great advancement and prosperity there is a warning that the swamps of this River will not be healed.
Ezekiel 47:11
11 But its swamps and marshes will not be healed; they will be given over to salt.
We will discuss the features of a SWAMP OPERATING SYSTEM
A swamp is a powerful metaphor of a culture of systemic corruption and wickedness
This word is used to describe systemic and unbridled corruption in the governance of nations, corporate organizations, state and private companies, and financial institutions.
During government elections aspiring candidates use this expression:
“DRAIN THE SWAMP”
This is a commitment to deliver the government from all corrupt practices, especially the use of money to influence decisions in the favor of corrupt politicians.
You would be shocked to discover that last year 82% of the total wealth generated in the world went to the richest 1% of the global population.
These “super rich” individuals use their wealth to determine the outcome of elections at every level. Their wealth influences the appointments of presidents, prime ministers, mayors, chief executives.
What chance has the honest entrepreneur have to compete in a fair and
honest environment.
What chance of survival does he have in a swamp?
I believe that the Body of Christ must also join in the shout!
Drain the swamp!
We have to close the revolving door that perpetuates a culture that is hostile to the ways of God
We will examine two bodies of water in the hope that we will be able to discern the Pure River of Life that flows from throne of God and the Lamb.
Hezekiah had implemented the same strategy to “drain the swamp” when he became king.
This was the condition of the people…..
2 Kings 17:28-29
28 Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the Lord.
29 However every nation continued to make gods of its own, and put them in the shrines on the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in the cities where they dwelt.
Hezekiah discerned that the people of God were positioned in a swamp
A place where the people of God worshipped the Living God alongside a variety of gods
Hezekiah made a dramatic entrance into his leadership and governance.
He cried out to the priesthood that had been hibernating….. “Carry the rubbish out of the holy place”
He proceeded to drain the swamp…….
Not only did Hezekiah articulate his intentions, he proceeded to dismantle all the artifacts of a “swamp” culture…..
He removed the high places and broke the sacred pillars, cut down the wooden image and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made
He destroyed the idol Nehushtan, sending a clear signal to the people of God that the people of God will not be a “swamp people”
He made a public declaration to all the snakes in the swamp
We will not need this idol anymore …. God is taking us out of this “swamp culture” and He is positioning us in the River
Hezekiah openly identified himself as a representation of the River
Observe how the people of God respond when confronted with a swamp culture (Assyrians)
The Assyrian culture is a counter culture.
We must be guarded as a people of God.
This people also represent a body of water. They also claim to be guided by their multiple gods
Their kings experienced phenomenal success against the nations before them
The Assyrian Empire was at its peak when Hezekiah encountered it
Their military strength was 100000 men
The operating system of a “swamp” culture…..
Sennacherib would remove those kings who rebelled against him and replace them with his own appointment, for example ….
In Sidon he would take out King Luli and replace him with his own appointee Tubalu .
Sennacherib’s objective was dominion at all costs, including killing the innocent in “regime change” wars.
Please note this :
God also promised His people the same dominion through Christ our Lord and His Church.
Psalms 72:8-11
8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea,
And from the River to the ends of the earth.
9 Those who dwell in the wilderness will bow before Him,
And His enemies will lick the dust.
10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles will bring presents; The kings of Sheba and Seba will offer gifts.
11 Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him; All nations shall serve Him.
The Hebrew word for earth…..
’ereṣ: A noun meaning the earth, land. It is used almost 2,500 times in the Old Testament. It refers to the whole earth under God’s dominion.
I believe that this river has its source
“under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple faced east; the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the altar”
I believe Ezekiel saw this river –
This is the single most significant fact in this entire movement of the waters
It cannot be separated from revealing Christ. When we use the name Christ, we are also referring to the Holy Trinity.
Psalm 72 is about the Reign of God and His people on the earth
Whatever entity, be it the local house, the City Church, the Body of Christ has to fully represent Him.
Isaiah 60:3
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
Our validation as the representation of the pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb is found in our culture and our ethos. This is what differentiates both bodies of water.
The greater our representation, the greater our momentum
One body of water is a swamp
Part of a toxic swamp culture is the
SPIRIT OF BELITTLEMENT, HARASSMENT AND BULLYING.
2 Kings 18:23
23 Now therefore, I urge you, give a pledge to my master the king of Assyria, and I will give you two thousand horses—if you are able on your part to put riders on them!
The Assyrians belittled the people of God because they were small in number.
We must be careful that we do not belittle a man of God who has few people in his ministry.
The voice from the swamp declares “We have all the resources you need, but you do not have the capacity to handle this
God did not need 2000 horses to defeat this Assyrian army. He exterminated 185000 Assyrians in one day.
A three man delegation came to Hezekiah with a message – pay up or else!
They positioned themselves at the aqueduct
Tartan – commander in chief of the Assyrian army, a military man – his fingers are itching to deploy his soldiers to wipe out God’s people who are still holding on to their God
Rabsaris chief of the eunuchs
Rabshakeh – Chief cupbearer Who appears to be the Chief Spokesman
A SWAMP CULTURE LACKS INTEGRITY
After God’s people pay the tribute as required, they get attacked.
As I said at the outset, the objective of an Assyrian strategy is total dominion at any cost.
Here is our great challenge…….
How do we manifest our dominion, without destroying households and families, without robbing leaders of their dignity and autonomy, without discrediting the worship of their God…..
This is what sets us apart from the swamp
When satan offered JESUS the kingdoms of the world…..JESUS did not think about it
The River of Life responded immediately…..
“Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”
We are representing a pure River of Life
Where we go….. we carry the spirit of life and resurrection
How does Elisha hand over the son in Shunem who has been restored to life, without destroying the wineskin between husband and wife
The question is this ……
Does a carrier of five fold grace have the discipline to give life without desiring to possess the household?
Elisha represented the River of Life
“Call this Shunammite woman.” So he called her. And when she came in to him, he said, “Pick up your son.” 37 So she went in, fell at his feet, and bowed to the ground; then she picked up her son and went out.
And Elisha returned to Gilgal”
Can we help each other without lusting after our brothers’ household
Can we engage each other through honest conversation?
Can we share five fold grace without coveting?

Our pursuit of exact representation of God should not bring us to a place where we deny our humanity.
Accept this flesh.
The five senses reside in the outer man
Although we may feel like little gods before His people, do not lose sight of the reality that we are human beings
Hidden in what I just said lies the solutions to all our challenges….

Christ (The Holy Trinity) is this River of Life
The purity of the river is dependent on its ethos that gives it the energy and momentum
What a organization values, will become its driving force
As the River expresses more and more of its nature, our momentum will increase.
In this season there is hope for the swamp.
Matthew 5:45
45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
The swamp needs a deluge of rain from the Heavenly Father that would return it to the River and the waters of Life and healing.

ambiente honesto.
Que chance de sobrevivência ele tem em um pântano?
Eu acredito que o Corpo de Cristo também deve se juntar ao grito!
Escorra o pântano!
Temos que fechar a porta giratória que perpetua uma cultura hostil aos caminhos de Deus
Examinaremos dois corpos de água na esperança de que possamos discernir o Rio Puro da Vida que flui do trono de Deus e do Cordeiro.
Ezequias havia implementado a mesma estratégia para “drenar o pântano” quando ele se tornou rei.
Essa era a condição do povo …
2 Reis 17: 28-29

Ezequias discerniu que o povo de Deus estava posicionado em um pântano
Um lugar onde o povo de Deus adorava o Deus Vivo ao lado de uma variedade de deuses
Ezequias fez uma entrada dramática em sua liderança e governo.
Ele clamou ao sacerdócio que estava hibernando … “Leve o lixo para fora do lugar santo”
Ele começou a drenar o pântano …….
Ezequias não apenas articulou suas intenções, mas também desmontou todos os artefatos de uma cultura do “pântano” …
Ele removeu os altos e quebrou os pilares sagrados, cortou a imagem de madeira e quebrou em pedaços a serpente de bronze que Moisés havia feito
Ele destruiu o ídolo Nehushtan, enviando um sinal claro ao povo de Deus de que o povo de Deus não será um “povo do pântano”
Ele fez uma declaração pública para todas as cobras no pântano
Não precisaremos mais desse ídolo …. Deus está nos tirando dessa “cultura do pântano” e está nos posicionando no rio
Ezequias se identificou abertamente como uma representação do rio
Observe como o povo de Deus responde quando confrontado com uma cultura do pântano (assírios)
A cultura assíria é uma contra-cultura.
Nós devemos ser guardados como um povo de Deus.
Este povo também representa um corpo de água. Eles também afirmam ser guiados por seus deuses múltiplos
Seus reis experimentaram um sucesso fenomenal contra as nações diante deles
O Império Assírio estava no auge quando Ezequias o encontrou
Sua força militar era de 100.000 homens
O sistema operacional de uma cultura de “pântano” …..
Senaqueribe removeria aqueles reis que se rebelavam contra ele e os substituiria por sua própria nomeação, por exemplo …
Em Sidon, ele mataria o rei Luli e o substituiria por seu próprio nomeado Tubalu.
O objetivo de Senaqueribe era domínio a todo custo, incluindo matar os inocentes em guerras de “mudança de regime”.
Observe o seguinte:
Deus também prometeu ao Seu povo o mesmo domínio através de Cristo, nosso Senhor, e Sua Igreja.

E do rio até os confins da terra.
9 Os que habitam no deserto se inclinam diante dele,
E os seus inimigos lamberão o pó.
10 Os reis de Társis e das ilhas trarão presentes; Os reis de Sabá e Seba oferecerão presentes.
11 Sim, todos os reis cairão diante dele; Todas as nações O servirão.
A palavra hebraica para terra …..
‘Aqui’: um substantivo que significa terra, terra. É usado quase 2.500 vezes no Antigo Testamento. Refere-se a toda a terra sob o domínio de Deus.
Eu acredito que este rio tem sua fonte
“Embaixo do limiar do templo em direção ao leste, pois a frente do templo ficava em direção ao leste; a água escorria por baixo do lado direito do templo, ao sul do altar ”
Eu acredito que Ezequiel viu este rio –
Este é o fato mais significativo em todo esse movimento das águas
Não pode ser separado da revelação de Cristo. Quando usamos o nome Cristo, também estamos nos referindo à Santíssima Trindade.
O Salmo 72 é sobre o Reino de Deus e Seu povo na Terra
Qualquer entidade, seja a casa local, a Igreja da Cidade, o Corpo de Cristo deve representá-Lo plenamente.
Isaías 60: 3
Mas o Senhor se levantará sobre você,
E a Sua glória será vista sobre você.
Os gentios virão para a sua luz, e reis para o brilho da sua ascensão.
Nossa validação como representação do rio puro da água da vida, clara como cristal, procedente do trono de Deus e do Cordeiro, é encontrada em nossa cultura e em nosso ethos. É isso que diferencia os dois corpos de água.
Quanto maior a nossa representação, maior o nosso momento
Um corpo de água é um pântano
Parte de uma cultura tóxica do pântano é a
ESPÍRITO DE AVALIAÇÃO, ASSÉDIO E BULLYING.

23 Agora, pois, exorto-o a dar um juramento ao meu senhor, o rei da Assíria, e darei-lhe dois mil cavalos – se você puder colocar cavaleiros neles!
Os assírios menosprezavam o povo de Deus porque eram pequenos em número.
Devemos tomar cuidado para não menosprezar um homem de Deus que tem poucas pessoas em seu ministério.
A voz do pântano declara: “Temos todos os recursos que você precisa, mas você não tem capacidade para lidar com isso.
Deus não precisava de 2.000 cavalos para derrotar este exército assírio. Ele exterminou 185.000 assírios em um dia.
Uma delegação de três homens veio a Ezequias com uma mensagem – pague ou então!
Eles se posicionaram no aqueduto
Tartan – comandante em chefe do exército assírio, um militar – seus dedos estão doendo para enviar seus soldados para acabar com o povo de Deus que ainda está segurando seu Deus

Rabshakeh – copeiro-chefe que parece ser o porta-voz principal
UMA CULTURA DO PÂNTANO NÃO TEM INTEGRIDADE
Depois que o povo de Deus presta o tributo conforme necessário, eles são atacados.
Como eu disse desde o início, o objetivo de uma estratégia assíria é o domínio total a qualquer custo.

Como manifestamos nosso domínio, sem destruir casas e famílias, sem roubar aos líderes sua dignidade e autonomia, sem desacreditar a adoração a seu Deus …
É isso que nos diferencia do pântano
Quando satanás ofereceu a JESUS os reinos do mundo … JESUS não pensou nisso
O rio da vida respondeu imediatamente …
“Fora com você, Satanás! Pois está escrito: ‘Você deve adorar o Senhor, seu Deus, e somente Ele deve servir.’ ”
Estamos representando um puro Rio da Vida
Para onde vamos … carregamos o espírito da vida e da ressurreição
Como Eliseu entrega o filho em Shunem que foi restaurado à vida, sem destruir o odre entre marido e mulher
A questão é esta ……
Um portador de cinco vezes de graça tem a disciplina de dar vida sem desejar possuir a casa?
Eliseu representou o rio da vida
“Chame essa mulher sunamita.” Então ele a chamou. E quando ela veio a ele, ele disse: “Pegue seu filho.” 37 Então ela entrou, caiu aos pés dele e curvou-se no chão; então ela pegou o filho e saiu.
E Eliseu voltou para Gilgal ”

O pântano precisa de um dilúvio de chuva do Pai Celestial que o devolva ao rio e às águas de Vida e cura.
