THE OFFERING OF THE TURTLEDOVE

We see the Father’s perfect love revealed in the economy of atonement…. 
Leviticus 5:7-10 

7 “If he is not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring to the Lord, for his trespass which he has committed, two turtledoves or two young pigeons: one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. 8 And he shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it completely. 9 Then he shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar, and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering. 10 And he shall offer the second as a burnt offering according to the prescribed manner. So the priest shall make atonement on his behalf for his sin which he has committed, and it shall be forgiven him.11 ‘But if he is not able to bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons, then he who sinned shall bring for his offering one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a sin offering. He shall put no oil on it, nor shall he put frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.
These verses in Leviticus represents the love and mercy of God towards all His precious people. He desires atonement and redemption for all His people; from the rich to the poor. The turtledove is a clean animal. 

This represents an old order. There is a visible discrimination in the offerings. Some would come with their lambs; others would arrive with their turtledoves and their flour. It is a picture of religion that presents its righteousness to God, while causing a separation among the people of God.
This is the reason the death of Jesus the Lamb represented a sacrifice that brings equalization to all of God’s people; both Jews and Gentiles without any discrimination. Every weakness and transgression of man is obliterated by this one sacrifice. The perfect sacrifice.

A OFERTA DO ROLAS OU POMBINHOS
Vemos o amor perfeito do Pai revelado na economia da expiação.
Levítico 5: 7-10

7 Se ele não puder trazer um cordeiro, então trará ao Senhor, por sua culpa que cometeu, duas rolas ou dois pombinhos: um como oferta pelo pecado e outro como holocausto. Ele os trará ao sacerdote, que primeiro oferecerá o que é para a oferta pelo pecado, e lhe arrancará a cabeça do pescoço, mas não o dividirá completamente. “9 Então ele roerá alguma do sangue do altar sem oferecer Sobre o lado do altar, e o restante do sangue será drenado na base do altar, sem oferta, 10 e oferecere o segundo como holocausto, conforme o modo prescrito. Deve fazer expiação em seu favor para que ele cometeu, e ele deve perdoá-lo.11 Mas, se ele não puder trazer duas rolas ou dois pombinhos, então aquele que teria oferecido a sua oferta um décimo de efa de flor de farinha como uma oferta sem oferenda. Não lhe porá sobre ela azeite, nem porá sobre ela incenso, porquanto é ofrenda.

Estes versículos em Levítico representam o amor ea misericórdia de Deus para com todos os Seus preciosos homens. Ele deseja a expiação e a redenção para todo o Seu povo; Dos ricos aos pobres. A turtledove é um animal limpo.
Isso representa uma ordem antiga. Há uma discriminação visível nas ofertas. Alguns viriam com seus cordeiros; Outros chegariam com suas tortas e sua farinha. É um quadro de religião que apresenta sua justiça a Deus, ao mesmo tempo que causa uma separação entre o povo de Deus.
Esta é a razão pela qual a morte de Jesus, o Cordeiro, representou um sacrifício que traz a igualação a todo o povo de Deus; Tanto judeus e gentios sem qualquer discriminação. Toda fraqueza e transgressão do homem é obliterada por este único sacrifício. O sacrifício perfeito.

Que Deus receba toda Glória, Honra e Louvor para seu Filho Perfeito, Jesus.
