CCF International Church

It was a nostalgic experience for me returning to my home town after an absence of 32 years. Our host was Ps Matthew Samuel, the senior minister of Ebenezer Ministries, an established ministry that was founded over 50 years ago. Ps Matthew took over from my dear friend, the late Ps Andrew. Seeing some of the townspeople after such a long time was in many ways a journey back into time.

It was so easy to minister to them because they are aware of my family roots in the priesthood.Talking about the present day temple was easy because the old temple still stands in its original place, but now run down and unkempt, its surrounds overgrown with tall grass. I was filled with sadness as I remembered the days of my youth, standing with the villagers in a long line with my mother, holding on to our  evening sacrifices. The sounds of the chantings and rituals of the old temple all started to come back as I recalled the devotion of my parents and my siblings.

Now here we are… the present day corporate temple that is ruled by One greater than the temple itself, the Lord Jesus Christ. Behold all things are new! The town celebrated the grace of God upon my life and we are committed to working with this ministry to help bring great definition and clarity to the “hidden wisdom” that is presently being released in this season.

We are excited about the launch of the ABC Medical Clinics on Saturday 26th February 2011 at the All Believers Convention.

This week end was truly a special experience with the ministry team from Harvest Worship with Ps John and Lilian Barnes, Duncan, Merchelle and Elise Barnes from Cape Town. They are truly anointed and gifted musicians and singers. There was a great impartation of the Word of the Lord by Ps John Barnes where he declared the loosening of the colt.

Luke 19:29-32
29 And it came to pass, when He came near to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mountain called Olivet, that He sent two of His disciples, 30 saying, “Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose him and bring him here. 31 And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you loosing it?’ thus you shall say to him, ‘Because the Lord has need of it.’ ”

He challenged the believers to submit themselves to the process of untying and loosening for the exclusive purpose of being used by the Lord. He has need of us.

We are thankful to the Lord and all our ministry partners, friends and associates for our relationship that kept us in strength during this year of diverse challenges.  This is what the psalmist declares:

Ps 18:1-3
I will love You, O LORD, my strength.
2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from my enemies.

How is this strength manifested? Through divinely apponited relationships. Through the Body of Christ which is a representation of His fullness where is is multiplicity of grace. Through the grace deposit called “father” which is resident in a human vessel. Our safety and security therefore is to remain in this environment called the Body of Christ.

I want to wish all our friends, families, ministry partners, Dr Sagie Govender and the ABC family God’s richest blessings in 2011.

We are grateful to the Lord for having His hand upon our dear friend and brother Santiago Lastra Morales of Mexico. He is recovering from surgery in Mexico City and we stand firm in our faith in the word that the Lord gave us in Rosarita last month when I was praying and ministering to him and his wife Pastora Luz.

Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

The Lord does not want us to be forgetful regarding who He really is and what He only is committed to do for His children. Sickness and disease have to submit to His Word and His authority. Please continue to remember Ap Santiago Lastra in your prayers.

AP SANTIAGO AND AP ROY ON THE MOUNTAIN IN MEXICO

IRENE, HEART OF YAHWEH CAPTAIN, RECEIVING THE CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY FROM ROY PILLAY

A great day of fellowship was experienced by all at the Wyebank Grounds where the two teams from CCF, the Royal Levites and the Heart of Yahweh pitted their skills against each other in a series of events that was contested in a great spirit. A thoroughly enjoyable day. Our appreciation goes to the organisers Theo and Nisholl Thulkanan and their band of helpers who did a great job considering the weather we have been experiencing in Durban recently. Our congratulations go to Irene Pillay’s winning team “Heart of Yahweh”. To Rowen Naicker’s Royal Levites..we know you will come back strong in 2011.

The banners and the team costumes were eye catching and the march to the grounds attracted much attention. Well done to all who contributed to the day’s success.
