Matt 13:24-30
24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 “He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ 29 “But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ‘ ”
Stay expectant and meditate on this word …. I will release the revelation over this week end.

Let the tares grow…..
The question should be, how did the tares get there? If the man sowed good seed and the discovery at harvest, that tares are present, is it not because sons of God,have become men in our dealings and we have enjoyed the season of sleep, “jesus said couldnt you stay up for an hour”
it is when we sleep,i submitt to you this is a lack of discernment and a poor understanding of the present demand of God that we sleep four months and think it has been a night. Peter said we have worked all night and have caught nothing, but never the less at your word.Gen.1-18 the night is called darkness. we could toil all night or or listen in the light. Four months could be the night season,of darkness we could think the wheat we have are sons of God, yet this could be the sons of perdition who have a form of Godlyness but deny the power of God.However Gods love for the world is so great He gives us a chance to wake up fom the night season and gives time for the tares to change their structure to that of son’s or….. untill next time.
Hi Jairus !
Thanks for writing in. Your comment is noted and is absolutely perfect for a perfect people dwelling in a perfect environment.
Sadly we do not function in a perfect environment. The false dimension is a present reality. The challenge for present day ministers of the gospel is to develop skills that would restrain us from uprooting the tares. This is the Lord’s perogative.
Until the Lord physically returns, we must continue to preach and teach; correct and instruct, giving folk every opportunity to repent and change their ways. I believe this is the door we have to go through as ministers to experience our financial deliverance.
Churches are being emptied as tares are being uprooted and they take wheat with them as well.
God bless you.
We should not be shaped by our environment, but by the word of God, if we interpret life through the medium of environment, circumstance or experience we merely become cultural in our interpertation.we must lead Christ out of the scripture with his heart and mind. We must demonstrate the kingdom in all spheres of life. The tares will help us develop the kingdom in us,that is me, that I would transform to become good wheat, in the hope that I would influence the tares to change its character to become the wheat.
Well done Jairus !
Hi Ps Roy, great blog.
One of the things we as servants need to be careful of in handling the tares is the aspect of “while men slept” – this is the issue of idleness in the 11th hour. I think as servants there must be spiritual awareness. The enemy will sow more tares if we are sleeping. This is the issue of going past the field of a lazy man and finding it over grown with thorns and thistles. I agree that we cannot just uproot tares – this is the prerogative of the Lord at the end of the harvest but we must not sleep.
Love you – Ralph
Thanks for your comment Ralph !
I like the connection between sleep and spiritual awareness… sleep being an inability to discern what the spirit of the Lord is saying now.
Great blog,
I find the issue of tares to be the greatest challenge of the present season. I see another connection here,
The man (one man) sowed seed in His field. I want to believe that the man his God sowing christ into the earth. Or his church. Then the men are his servants charged to watch over his field. They slept. This gave the enemy room to plan a wrong seed in the field. A picture we see in Adam in Eden. Eve got decieved because Adam the grace carrier left her alone if we see eve – woman to be the church.
Ultimately, what the Master is looking for is that His servants watch over the field and keep naturing what is sown so that it grows and produces wheat. In the final end it is what is formed that He is interested him. HE want to gather wheat into his barn. I see a picture of naturing the word in our sons so that christ is formed in them. This is the labour that paul has for the Galatian Church.
