The prophet Ezekiel saw in a vision the awesome majesty of God

Ezekiel 1:4 Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire. 5 Also from within it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man. 6 Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings.

The four living creatures described as having the faces of a man, a lion, an ox, and an eagle portray the character of God. The four living creatures symbolise the Lord’s perfect nature. When Ezekiel encountered this majestic vision, he falls on his face and he heard the voice of God speaking to him.

Ezekiel 2:1 And He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you.” 2 Then the Spirit entered me when He spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard Him who spoke to me. 3 And He said to me: “Son of man, I am sending you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day. 4 For they are impudent and stubborn children. I am sending you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD.’ 5 As for them, whether they hear or whether they refuse—for they are a rebellious house—yet they will know that a prophet has been among them. 6 “And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house. 7 You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse, for they are rebellious. 8 But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”

Last week I shared a revelation concerning the relationship between the spiritual condition of an audience or a hearer and the visitation of an appropriate anointing that is intended to deliver the people in that environment. I referred to the word of God expressed through the mouth of Samuel concerning the expectations of God concerning His faithful representatives.

1 Samuel 2:35 Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever.

Faithful representatives of God have abandoned themselves to the restraining order that has been placed upon them concerning the deliverance of the Word of God. Servants of God have been entrusted with the Word of God. There are Divine expectations. They need to summon all their courage and convictions to deliver the message entrusted to them.

PRINCIPLES CONNECTED TO THE SENDING

Ezekiel 2:1 And He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you.” 2 Then the Spirit entered me when He spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard Him who spoke to me

1. STAND UP ON YOUR FEET

The messenger needs to position himself to receive instructions. The Spirit of God needs Ezekiel’s total attention.The spirit of God entered Ezekiel and he heard the voice of God. We see, once again with Ezekiel, just like the vision he had of the Valley, that he is totally reliant on the Spirit of God to move him to spiritual positions where he is able to see the things that God wants to reveal to Him. When we encounter a visitation of this nature, we must configure our minds and our spirits to receive God’s words of instruction.

2. THE TARGETED AUDIENCE

Ezekiel 2:3 And He said to me: “Son of man, I am sending you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day. 4 For they are impudent and stubborn children. I am sending you to them

God’s targeted audience is the children of Israel, God’s own people. The message is not for a heathen, unbelieving, pagan nation. The message is for God’s beloved people. This is a people who have witnessed the supernatural exploits of God to sustain, provide and lead them in the most adverse situations, but now God calls them rebellious and impudent. It is not how we see ourselves or how our others see us that matter; it is about how our God sees us. It is the sight of God that evaluates ministry. Where many would see success, God sees rebellion towards Him and His Word. Ezekiel must strengthen himself both spiritually and mentally for this encounter. God is informing Ezekiel about the spiritual condition of his targeted audience. Don’t expect a celebration gathering when you get there. In fact you will sit among them speechless and astonished for seven days.

3. GIVE TOTAL OWNERSHIP OF THE MESSAGE TO ALMIGHTY GOD

Ezekiel 2 ……you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD.’ 5 As for them, whether they hear or whether they refuse—for they are a rebellious house—yet they will know that a prophet has been among them”

Declare God as the commissioner of the instructions. Ezekiel had to present himself simply as His messenger. The successful deliverance of God’s words is not determined by the response of the audience. Ezekiel’s focus must be to deliver the message. Messengers who are sent by God have zero interest in ratings, “likes” or the applause of men. They simply focus on delivering the message. In their hearts and minds, God’s people will know that they were in the presence of His representative voice.

4. DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED IN THE DECLARATION OF THE WORD OF GOD

Ezekiel 2:6 “And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house. 7 You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse, for they are rebellious

This is the general instruction to all servants of God. Do not be intimidated by the look on their faces or their words. Hostile intimidation in the form of blatant threats must not be permitted to silence the message entrusted to you. We know how Elijah ran for his life after Jezebel threatened him.

1 Kings 19:1 And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, also how he had executed all the prophets with the sword. 2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.”

Ezekiel had to strengthen himself to speak God’s Word from the midst of briers, thorns and scorpions. Paul speaks about a thorn in his side, a messenger of satan, given to buffet him. Both these references are applicable to human intimidation. Our solution is to be reliant on the grace of the Lord which is sufficient for us. God will support those who are faithful to delivering His Word. He promises to establish us as a “sure house”

5. SERVANT OF GOD MUST BE CAREFUL NOT TO BE SEDUCED BY THE PREVAILING CULTURE OF REBELLION

Ezekiel 3:8 But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.

We must always remember your mandate. Be faithful carriers of the burden of the Lord. The only way for God to express everything that is in His heart and in His mind is through Ezekiel (a faithful human vessel)

6. THEY WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOU

God sends His servant Ezekiel to His people knowing that they will not listen to him. How God must love His people! When people do not listen to His servants, this is not a reflection of the impact of their ministry; it is a revelation of the calcified hearts of a people who have rejected their God.

Ezekiel 3:7 But the house of Israel will not listen to you, because they will not listen to Me; for all the house of Israel are impudent and hard-hearted.

7. SERVANT OF GOD WILL BE JUDGED FOR NON DISCLOSURE

Ezekiel 3:17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: 18 When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

Failure to reveal the Word of God that has been entrusted to us for His people will attract Divine judgement both to His servants and those to whom His servants have been sent. God will not hold His servant responsible for any classified information that has not been communicated to him.

Na semana passada, compartilhei uma revelação a respeito da relação entre a condição espiritual de uma audiência ou ouvinte e a visitação de uma unção apropriada que visa libertar as pessoas naquele ambiente. Eu me referi à palavra de Deus expressa pela boca de Samuel a respeito das expectativas de Deus a respeito de Seus representantes fiéis.

1 Samuel 2:35 Então levantarei para mim um sacerdote fiel, que fará conforme o que está no meu coração e na minha mente. Eu edificarei para ele uma casa segura, e ele andará diante do meu ungido para sempre.

Representantes fiéis de Deus se entregaram à ordem restritiva que lhes foi imposta a respeito da libertação da Palavra de Deus. Aos servos de Deus foi confiada a Palavra de Deus. Existem expectativas Divinas. Eles precisam reunir toda a sua coragem e convicções para transmitir a mensagem que lhes foi confiada.

PRINCÍPIOS CONECTADOS AO ENVIO

Ezequiel 2: 1 E Ele me disse: “Filho do homem, põe-te em pé, e eu te falarei”. 2 Então o Espírito entrou em mim, quando ele falou comigo, e me pôs em pé; e eu ouvi aquele que falou comigo.

1. Põe-te em pé

O mensageiro precisa se posicionar para receber instruções. O Espírito de Deus precisa da atenção total de Ezequiel. O espírito de Deus entrou em Ezequiel e ele ouviu a voz de Deus. Vemos, mais uma vez com Ezequiel, assim como a visão que ele teve do Vale, que ele está totalmente dependente do Espírito de Deus para movê-lo a posições espirituais onde ele seja capaz de ver as coisas que Deus deseja revelar a ele. Quando encontramos uma visitação desta natureza, devemos configurar nossas mentes e nossos espíritos para receber as palavras de instrução de Deus.

2. O PÚBLICO ALVO

Ezequiel 2: 3 E Ele me disse: “Filho do homem, eu te envio aos filhos de Israel, a uma nação rebelde que se rebelou contra mim; eles e seus pais transgrediram contra mim até o dia de hoje. 4 Porque são crianças atrevidas e teimosas. Estou enviando você para eles

O público-alvo de Deus são os filhos de Israel, o próprio povo de Deus. A mensagem não é para uma nação idólatra, descrente e pagã. A mensagem é para o povo amado de Deus. Este é um povo que testemunhou as façanhas sobrenaturais de Deus para sustentá-los, provê-los e liderá-los nas situações mais adversas, mas agora Deus os chama de rebeldes e impudentes. Não é como nos vemos ou como os outros nos veem que importa; é sobre como nosso Deus nos vê. É a visão de Deus que avalia o ministério. Onde muitos veriam o sucesso, Deus vê rebelião contra Ele e Sua Palavra. Ezequiel deve se fortalecer espiritual e mentalmente para este encontro. Deus está informando Ezequiel sobre a condição espiritual de seu público-alvo. Não espere uma reunião de celebração quando você chegar lá. Na verdade, você ficará sentado entre eles sem palavras e surpreso por sete dias.

3. DÊ A PROPRIEDADE TOTAL DA MENSAGEM AO DEUS TODO-PODEROSO

Declare Deus como o comissário das instruções. Ezequiel teve que se apresentar simplesmente como Seu mensageiro. A liberação bem-sucedida das palavras de Deus não é determinada pela resposta do público. O foco de Ezequiel deve ser entregar a mensagem. Mensageiros enviados por Deus não têm interesse em avaliações, “curtidas” ou aplausos de homens. Eles simplesmente se concentram em entregar a mensagem. Em seus corações e mentes, o povo de Deus saberá que estava na presença de Sua voz representativa.

4. NÃO SEJA INTIMIDADO NA DECLARAÇÃO DA PALAVRA DE DEUS

Ezequiel 2:6-7 “E tu, filho do homem, não tenhas medo deles, nem tenhas medo das suas palavras, ainda que abrigos e espinhos estejam contigo e habitas entre os escorpiões; não tenha medo de suas palavras nem se espante com sua aparência, embora sejam uma casa rebelde. 7 Tu lhes dirás as minhas palavras, quer ouçam quer recusem, porque são rebeldes.

Esta é a instrução geral para todos os servos de Deus. Não se deixe intimidar pela expressão de seus rostos ou palavras. A intimidação hostil na forma de ameaças flagrantes não deve ser permitida para silenciar a mensagem que lhe foi confiada. Sabemos como Elias fugiu para se salvar depois que Jezabel o ameaçou.

1 Reis 19:1-2 E Acabe contou a Jezabel tudo o que Elias fizera, e também como matara todos os profetas à espada. 2 Então Jezabel enviou um mensageiro a Elias, dizendo: “Que me façam os deuses, e mais ainda, se eu não fizer da tua vida como a vida de um deles até amanhã a esta hora”.

Ezequiel teve que se fortalecer para falar a Palavra de Deus no meio de sarças, espinhos e escorpiões. Paulo fala sobre um espinho em seu lado, um mensageiro de satanás, dado para esbofeteá-lo. Ambas as referências são aplicáveis à intimidação humana. Nossa solução é confiar na graça do Senhor, que é suficiente para nós. Deus apoiará aqueles que são fiéis em entregar Sua Palavra. Ele promete nos estabelecer como uma “casa segura”.

5. O SERVO DE DEUS DEVE TER CUIDADO PARA NÃO SER SEDUZIDO PELA CULTURA DE REBELIÃO ANTERIOR

Ezequiel 3:8 Mas tu, filho do homem, ouve o que te digo. Não seja rebelde como aquela casa rebelde; abra sua boca e coma o que eu te der.

Devemos sempre nos lembrar de seu mandato. Sejam fiéis portadores do fardo do Senhor. A única maneira de Deus expressar tudo o que está em Seu coração e em Sua mente é por meio de Ezequiel (um vaso humano fiel).

6. ELES NÃO ESCUTARÃO VOCÊ

Deus envia Seu servo Ezequiel ao Seu povo sabendo que eles não o ouvirão. Como Deus deve amar Seu povo! Quando as pessoas não ouvem Seus servos, isso não é um reflexo do impacto de seu ministério; é uma revelação do coração calcificado de um povo que rejeitou seu Deus.

Ezequiel 3:7 Mas a casa de Israel não te quer ouvir, porque não me quer ouvir; pois toda a casa de Israel é impudente e de coração duro.

7. O SERVO DE DEUS SERÁ JULGADO POR NÃO DIVULGAÇÃO

Ezequiel 3:17-19 “Filho do homem, eu te constituí vigia para a casa de Israel; portanto, ouve uma palavra da Minha boca, e avisa-os da minha parte: 18 Quando digo ao ímpio: ‘Certamente morrerás’, e não o avisaste, nem fales para afastar o ímpio do seu mau caminho, para salvar sua vida, esse mesmo homem perverso morrerá em sua iniquidade; mas o sangue dele exigirei de sua mão. 19 Mas, se avisares o ímpio e ele não se desviar da sua maldade, nem do seu caminho ímpio, morrerá na sua iniquidade; mas você entregou sua alma.

A falha em revelar a Palavra de Deus que foi confiada a nós para Seu povo atrairá o julgamento divino tanto para Seus servos quanto para aqueles a quem Seus servos foram enviados. Deus não responsabilizará Seu servo por nenhuma informação confidencial que não tenha sido comunicada a ele.

When Jesus interacted with individuals or groups they all had differing opinions of who he really was; to others He was an enigma.

The Samaritan woman began her conversation with him thinking that he was a regular Jew, carrying all the prejudice, discrimination and religious bigotry that had historically caused great enmity between the Jews and the Samaritans

Then as the woman and Jesus continued their conversation, the woman perceived that Jesus was a prophet before Jesus eventually disclosed that He was the Messiah.

There were others who had other perceptions …. Some thought that He was John the Baptist. Some thought He was Elijah. Some thought He was Jeremiah. Some thought He was one of the other prophets

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

The grace that has been invested by the Father in Jesus is immeasurable; there is no height or depth to this grace.

And it is from this infinite repository of grace that Christ distributed to some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers.

It was the revelation that Simon Peter received that Jesus was in agreement with, because this was clearly aligned to the Father’s will.

“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Here is the plain reality……

When Jesus manifested the spirit of Elijah, He was still the Christ, the Son of the Living God

When Jesus manifested the spirit of John the Baptist, He was still the Christ, the Son of the Living God

When Jesus manifested the spirit of Jeremiah, He was still the Christ, the Son of the Living God

Here is the revelation. The spiritual condition of the hearer or an audience will determine the spirit of the message that the hearer would encounter. Faithful servants who are primed by the Holy Spirit will speak according to what is in the heart and mind of God.

For example if you were in the Temple in Jerusalem on that particular day and if you saw Jesus walking in with the whip of cords in His hand, you would have encountered the spirit of Elijah that violently opposed the prophets of Baal and Asherah on Mount Carmel. If you were there in Jerusalem you would have been part of the crowd who would have thought that Jesus was Elijah.

The reality is that the worshippers in the Temple on that day needed to host the Elijah anointing released through the Christ, the Son of the Living God. That Temple, with all its illegal activities, desperately needed a visitation of an Elijah anointing. Yet it would be Jesus who would be the “troubler of Jerusalem”.

As Elijah was called the troubler of Israel by Ahab, so was Jesus who troubled every city He visited. He challenged principalities and operating systems that were hostile to the installation of the culture of the Kingdom

Some people thought that Jesus was John the Baptist, because Jesus also demanded repentance

Mark 1:14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

Each person or audience Jesus spoke to had a unique grace encounter with Him. He used the fullness of the grace in Him to bring about reform to extremist religious ideology and practice.

Let us take a look at a reformer like Martin Luther. He was a priest and a teacher of the Roman Catholic Church. He presented his ideas for reform to the Church – they were not well received; he was excommunicated. This resulted in the birth of the Protestant Church. This was not his original intention.

Reformation, is not intended to be divisive or disruptive. It seeks to produce change from within. Although all things work for the good for those who love God, it must be stated that the response to reform is not excommunication, damaging, fragmenting or neutering the Church.

Martin Luther wanted to see the Church improve and so should we.

This is the reason much of Jesus’ teachings concerning His Father’s house met with such great hostility from the Pharisees and the religious brethren.

Jesus was intent on trying to reform the religious practices of his time; to present His Father’s doctrine and perspectives concerning His Father’s house. So we have this stand off. Reform, as we all know is NEVER easy, but it is absolutely vital to the continued development of the Church

Our ways must be constantly submitted to reform that is demanded in the Word of the Lord.

No one has arrived, we are constantly improving and being perfected; always reforming to better reflect His image.

We cannot be ensnared by Identity Politics, especially when we are building the corporate gathering of believers in the city

IDENTITY POLITICS

“ a tendency for people of a particular religion, race, social background, etc., to form exclusive political alliances, moving away from traditional broad-based party politics “. “Definition extracted from Oxford Dictionaries)

JESUS ENGAGED PEOPLE FROM VARIOUS SECTORS OF SOCIETY

Jesus engaged the Samaritans, tax collectors, sinners, lepers, military leaders, leaders of synagogues, rulers – He voluntarily laid down His reputation.

He was focussed on accessing every demographic of society.

For example, when no Jew wanted to set foot in Samaria, Jesus was determined to go through Samaria

The woman at the well was a representative sample of the culture of the Samaritans

Although the woman did not know who Jesus was at the beginning, Jesus knew exactly who she was.

The whole region got to know about Jesus because He positioned Himself far above Identity politics.

When Jesus addressed Zaccheus, He knew that Zaccheus represented the entire corrupt Revenue service. He was fully aware that He was breaching the Jewish social protocol.

Matthew 9:10 Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors

The Pharisees asked : “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors?” The Word of the Lord must become our compass. It must be given every opportunity to penetrate the hearts, minds and spirits of all hearers.

Psalms 107:20 He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.

This question demands to be answered … “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors ?”

Jesus gives the answer

Matthew 9:12 When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Jesus is completely free of Identity Politics

The religious principality was intimidated with Jesus engaging people groups that were ostracised by the prevailing culture.

The apostle Paul revealed his deliverance from any personal prejudice when he declared his desire not to be encumbered under the weight of Identity politics. Let us read his words …….

1 Corinthians 9:19 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more; 20 and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; 21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law; 22 to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 23 Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you.

We must understand these utterances by Paul clearly. Paul was not advocating a ministry strategy of “pleasing everyone”.

Paul’s ministry to the believers in the city of Corinth had encountered multiple challenges.

Paul had to deal with sectarianism that would foster the emergence of Identity Politics; there were claims of spiritual superiority among some believers, the believers were suing each other in public courts, profaning the Holy Sacraments, moral and ethical violations and other issues.

It is against this backdrop, that Paul would explain that his passion and unbridled zeal to see all people given every opportunity, regardless of any personal bias, to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. He was committed to reach out to various people groups, without prejudice and without him undermining his own faith and integrity in the scriptures. He was clearly inspired by the ministry of Jesus. His words demonstrated a refusal to embrace Identity Politics.

When religious brethren felt it was wrong for Gentiles to avoid circumcision, Paul discerned the manifestation of Identity Politics. He prioritised the baptism of the Gentiles by the Holy Spirit over any legal demands.

Acts 15:8 So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, 9 and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Quando Jesus interagiu com indivíduos ou grupos, todos eles tinham opiniões diferentes sobre quem ele realmente era;  para os outros, Ele era um enigma.

A mulher samaritana começou a conversa com ele pensando que ele era um judeu normal, carregando todo o preconceito, discriminação e fanatismo religioso que historicamente causaram grande inimizade entre judeus e samaritanos.

Então, enquanto a mulher e Jesus continuavam a conversa, a mulher percebeu que Jesus era um profeta antes de Jesus finalmente revelar que Ele era o Messias.

Havia outros que tinham outras percepções….  Alguns pensaram que Ele era João Batista.  Alguns pensaram que Ele era Elias.  Alguns pensaram que Ele era Jeremias.  Alguns pensaram que Ele era u:m dos outros profetas.

João 1:14 E o Verbo se fez carne e habitou entre nós, e vimos a Sua glória, a glória como do unigênito do Pai, cheio de graça e de verdade.

João 1:16-17 E de sua plenitude todos nós recebemos, graça sobre graça.  17 Porque a lei foi dada por meio de Moisés; a graça e a verdade vieram por Jesus Cristo.

A graça que foi investida pelo Pai em Jesus é incomensurável;  não há altura ou profundidade para essa graça.

E é desse repositório infinito de graça que Cristo distribuiu a alguns para serem apóstolos, alguns profetas, alguns evangelistas e alguns pastores e professores.

Foi a revelação que Simão Pedro recebeu de que Jesus estava de acordo, porque isso estava claramente alinhado com a vontade do Pai.

“Você é o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo.”

Aqui está a realidade pura …

Quando Jesus manifestou o espírito de Elias, Ele ainda era o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo.

Quando Jesus manifestou o espírito de João Batista, Ele ainda era o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo.

Quando Jesus manifestou o espírito de Jeremias, Ele ainda era o Cristo, o Filho do Deus Vivo.

Aqui está a revelação.  A condição espiritual do ouvinte ou da audiência determinará o espírito da mensagem que o ouvinte encontrará.  Os servos fiéis que são preparados pelo Espírito Santo falarão de acordo com o que está no coração e na mente de Deus.

Por exemplo, se você estivesse no Templo em Jerusalém naquele dia específico e visse Jesus entrando com o chicote de cordas na mão, você teria encontrado o espírito de Elias que se opôs violentamente aos profetas de Baal e Asera no Monte Carmelo .  Se você estivesse em Jerusalém, você faria parte da multidão que pensaria que Jesus era Elias.

A realidade é que os adoradores no Templo naquele dia precisavam hospedar a unção de Elias liberada por meio do Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo.  Esse templo, com todas as suas atividades ilegais, precisava desesperadamente da visitação de uma unção de Elias.  No entanto, seria Jesus o “perturbador de Jerusalém”.

Assim como Elias foi chamado de perturbador de Israel por Acabe, assim foi Jesus, que perturbou todas as cidades que visitou.  Ele desafiou principados e sistemas operacionais que eram hostis à instalação da cultura do Reino

Algumas pessoas pensaram que Jesus era João Batista, porque Jesus também exigia arrependimento

Marcos 1:14-15 Depois de João ter sido preso, Jesus foi para a Galiléia, pregando o evangelho do reino de Deus 15 e dizendo: “O tempo está cumprido, e o reino de Deus está próximo.  Arrependa-se e creia no evangelho. ”

Cada pessoa ou audiência com quem Jesus falou teve um encontro de graça único com ele. Ele usou a plenitude da graça Nele para trazer reformas à ideologia e prática religiosas extremistas.

Vamos dar uma olhada em um reformador como Martinho Lutero.  Ele era um padre e professor da Igreja Católica Romana.  Ele apresentou suas idéias de reforma para a Igreja – não foram bem recebidas;  ele foi excomungado.  Isso resultou no nascimento da Igreja Protestante.  Esta não era sua intenção original.

A Reforma não tem a intenção de ser divisiva ou perturbadora.  Ele procura produzir mudanças a partir de dentro.  Embora todas as coisas contribuam para o bem de quem ama a Deus, deve-se afirmar que a resposta à reforma não é excomungar, danificar, fragmentar ou neutralizar a Igreja.

Martinho Lutero queria ver a Igreja melhorar e nós também devemos.

Esta é a razão pela qual muitos dos ensinamentos de Jesus sobre a casa de Seu Pai foram recebidos com tanta hostilidade por parte dos fariseus e irmãos religiosos.

Jesus estava decidido a tentar reformar as práticas religiosas de seu tempo;  para apresentar a doutrina e as perspectivas de Seu Pai a respeito da casa de Seu Pai.  Portanto, temos esse impasse.  Reforma, como todos sabemos NUNCA é fácil, mas é absolutamente vital para o desenvolvimento contínuo da Igreja.

Nossos caminhos devem ser constantemente submetidos à reforma que é exigida na Palavra do Senhor.

Ninguém chegou, estamos constantemente melhorando e sendo aperfeiçoados;  sempre reformando para melhor refletir sua imagem.

Não podemos ser enlaçados pela Política de Identidade, especialmente quando estamos construindo uma reunião corporativa de crentes na cidade.

POLÍTICA DE IDENTIDADE

“Uma tendência para pessoas de uma determinada religião, raça, origem social, etc., formarem alianças políticas exclusivas, afastando-se da tradicional política partidária ampla”.  “Definição extraída do dicionário Oxford ).

JESUS ENGAJOU PESSOAS DE VÁRIOS SETORES DA SOCIEDADE

Jesus envolveu os samaritanos, cobradores de impostos, pecadores, leprosos, líderes militares, líderes de sinagogas, governantes – Ele voluntariamente entregou Sua reputação.

Ele estava focado em acessar todos os grupos demográficos da sociedade.

Por exemplo, quando nenhum judeu queria colocar os pés em Samaria, Jesus estava determinado a passar por Samaria.

A mulher junto ao poço era uma amostra representativa da cultura dos samaritanos.

Embora a mulher não soubesse quem era Jesus no início, Jesus sabia exatamente quem ela era.

Toda a região conheceu Jesus porque Ele se posicionou muito acima da política de Identidade.

Quando Jesus se dirigiu a Zaqueu, Ele sabia que Zaqueu representava todo o serviço da Receita corrupto.  Ele estava totalmente ciente de que estava violando o protocolo social judaico.

Mateus 9:10 E aconteceu que, estando Jesus sentado à mesa da casa, eis que muitos publicanos e pecadores vieram e se sentaram com Ele e seus discípulos.  11 E quando os fariseus viram isso, disseram aos discípulos: “Por que o vosso Mestre come com os publicanos?

Os fariseus perguntaram: “Por que seu Mestre come com os cobradores de impostos?”  A Palavra do Senhor deve se tornar nossa bússola.  Deve ser dada toda oportunidade de penetrar nos corações, mentes e espíritos de todos os ouvintes.

Salmos 107: 20 Enviou a sua palavra e os sarou, e os livrou da destruição.

Esta pergunta precisa ser respondida … “Por que seu professor come com coletores de impostos?”

Jesus dá a resposta

Mateus 9:12 Quando Jesus ouviu isso, disse-lhes: “Não precisam de médico os sãos, mas sim os enfermos.  13 Mas vá e aprenda o que isso significa: Eu desejo misericórdia e não sacrifício. ‘Pois eu não vim chamar justos, mas pecadores, ao arrependimento. ”

Jesus está completamente livre da Política de Identidade.

O principado religioso ficou intimidado com o fato de Jesus envolver grupos de pessoas que eram condenados ao ostracismo pela cultura dominante.

O apóstolo Paulo revelou sua libertação de qualquer preconceito pessoal quando declarou seu desejo de não ser sobrecarregado sob o peso da política de identidade.  Vamos ler suas palavras …….

1 Coríntios 9:19-23 Porque, embora esteja livre de todos os homens, me fiz servo de todos, para ainda mais ganhar;  20 e para os judeus tornei-me como judeu, para ganhar judeus;  para os que estão sob a lei, como se estivessem sob a lei, para ganhar os que estão sob a lei;  21 para os que estão sem lei, como se estivesse sem lei (não estando sem lei para com Deus, mas debaixo da lei de Cristo), para ganhar os que estão sem lei;  22 para os fracos tornei-me tão fraco, para ganhar os fracos.  Tornei-me todas as coisas para todos os homens, para por todos os meios salvar alguns.  23 Agora, isso eu faço por amor ao evangelho, para que eu possa ser participante dele com você.

Devemos entender essas declarações de Paulo claramente.  Paulo não estava defendendo uma estratégia ministerial de “agradar a todos”.

O ministério de Paulo aos crentes na cidade de Corinto encontrou vários desafios.

Paulo teve que lidar com o sectarismo que promoveria o surgimento da Política de Identidade;  houve reivindicações de superioridade espiritual entre alguns crentes, os crentes estavam processando uns aos outros em tribunais públicos, profanando os Santos Sacramentos, violações morais e éticas e outras questões.

É contra esse pano de fundo que Paulo explicaria sua paixão e zelo desenfreado de ver todas as pessoas tendo todas as oportunidades, independentemente de qualquer preconceito pessoal, de receber Jesus Cristo como seu Senhor e Salvador.  Ele estava empenhado em alcançar vários grupos de pessoas, sem preconceitos e sem minar sua própria fé e integridade nas escrituras.  Ele foi claramente inspirado pelo ministério de Jesus.  Suas palavras demonstraram uma recusa em abraçar a Política de Identidade.

Quando os irmãos religiosos sentiram que era errado os gentios evitarem a circuncisão, Paulo discerniu a manifestação da Política de Identidade.  Ele priorizou o batismo dos gentios pelo Espírito Santo acima de qualquer exigência legal.

Atos 15: 8 Assim, Deus, que conhece o coração, os reconheceu dando-lhes o Espírito Santo, assim como a nós, 9 e não fez distinção entre nós e eles, purificando seus corações pela fé.

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,

Jesus is the greatest example to all believers concerning humility. Whilst ministering on earth, although He is equal to God, yet He made Himself of no reputation, preferring to take the form of a bondservant. When His Father observed the humility of His Son, He highly exalted Him and gave Him the name which is above every name. Exaltation and promotion in the Kingdom is not accidental.

Jesus told his disciples that “ the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Apostle Peter says the same thing. Why is this such a great challenge for some believers? Why is submitting to others so difficult? Simple minded believers often say “ I only submit to Jesus”. Yet the Word of God clearly tells us differently. We see submission as a sign of weakness; that it would make us insignificant. Humbling ourselves under the Mighty hand of God includes submitting to His Word, to spiritual authorities, to the One sent to us and to one another. This demands a deliberate act of laying aside our will and prioritising the will of God.

Proverbs 3:34 Surely He scorns the scornful, But gives grace to the humble.

Humility is the essential characteristic in the believer’s relationship with God; it is the password that unlocks grace. Pride is the opposite of humility and it will cause the proud to be resisted by God. Jesus told the multitude and His disciples :

Matthew 23:12 And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

We must be delivered from “approval seeking behaviour”. Learn to function quietly. God sees everything. We must retain the spirit of humility even in the face of negative personal criticism. Do not open the window for anger or depression to set in. True humility enables us to be real; we have reconciled our spirits with both our positive and negative traits. It brings out honesty and sincerity in our relationships.

These are the characteristics that reveal the humility of Christ in us; it causes us to represent the city on the hill that cannot be hidden; it gives light to all. We need to present the image of Christ in our sphere. Christ is the Lord of the city.

We must allow the Word of God to dismantle every false image or appearance that opposes the emergence of the nature of Christ in us.

Humility pleases God; God delights in our humility which is a virtue that is attractive in the eyes of God.

Although we know that God had hardened the heart of Pharaoh, we believe that if Pharaoh had learned his lesson from the first plague, God would have relented from sending the other nine plagues. Blessings and peace.

SEJA HUMILDE

1 Pedro 5:5-6 Da mesma forma jovens, sujeitem-se aos mais velhos. Sejam todos humildes uns para com os outros, porque “Deus se opõe aos orgulhosos, mas concede graça aos humildes”. Portanto, humilhem-se debaixo da poderosa mão de Deus, para que ele os exalte no tempo devido.

Jesus é o maior exemplo para todos os crentes em relação à humildade. Enquanto ministrava na terra, embora fosse igual a Deus, ainda assim não fez a si mesmo nenhuma reputação, preferindo assumir a forma de servo. Quando Seu Pai observou a humildade de Seu Filho, Ele O exaltou altamente e deu-Lhe o nome que está acima de todo nome. A exaltação e promoção no Reino não são acidentais.

Jesus disse aos seus discípulos que “o Filho do homem não veio para ser servido, mas para servir e dar a sua vida em resgate de muitos”.

O apóstolo Pedro diz a mesma coisa. Por que esse é um grande desafio para alguns crentes? Por que se submeter aos outros é tão difícil? Os crentes simplórios costumam dizer “Eu só me submeto a Jesus”. No entanto, a Palavra de Deus nos diz claramente de maneira diferente. Vemos a submissão como um sinal de fraqueza; que nos tornaria insignificantes. Humilhar-nos sob a poderosa mão de Deus inclui submeter-nos à Sua Palavra, às autoridades espirituais, àquele que foi enviado a nós e uns aos outros. Isso exige um ato deliberado de deixar de lado nossa vontade e priorizar a vontade de Deus.

Provérbios 3:34 Ele zomba dos zombadores, mas concede graça aos humildes.

A humildade é a característica essencial no relacionamento do cristão com Deus; é a senha que desbloqueia a graça. Orgulho é o oposto de humildade e fará com que o orgulhoso seja resistido por Deus. Jesus disse à multidão e aos seus discípulos:

Mateus 23:12 Pois todo aquele que a si mesmo se exaltar será humilhado, e todo aquele que a si mesmo se humilhar será exaltado.

Devemos ser libertados do “comportamento de busca de aprovação”. Aprenda a funcionar em silêncio. Deus vê tudo. Devemos manter o espírito de humildade mesmo em face de críticas pessoais negativas. Não abra a janela para que a raiva ou a depressão se instalem. A verdadeira humildade nos permite ser reais; reconciliamos nosso espírito com nossos traços positivos e negativos. Traz honestidade e sinceridade em nossos relacionamentos.

Essas são as características que revelam a humildade de Cristo em nós; faz com que representemos a cidade na colina que não pode ser escondida; dá luz a todos. Precisamos apresentar a imagem de Cristo em nossa esfera. Cristo é o Senhor da cidade.

Devemos permitir que a Palavra de Deus desmantele toda falsa imagem ou aparência que se opõe ao surgimento da natureza de Cristo em nós.

A humildade agrada a Deus; Deus se agrada da nossa humildade, que é uma virtude atraente aos olhos de Deus.

Last week we received instructions from the Word of God from Dr Sagie Govender of ABC Ministries that were piercing and provocative.

We sense that covenants in the households and families of God are being subject to serious testing during this prolonged period of isolation.

The Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart the scripture that stood out :

1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Both the Hebrew and Greek words for “defile” say the same thing

phtheírō; to waste, pine. To corrupt, destroy.”, punish with destruction, bring to a worse state, spoil, vitiate, in a moral or spiritual sense; to subvert or corrupt opinions; to contaminate

A defiling of covenants in the household of faith is equal to the defiling of the Temple.

We do not claim to have already attained or to have already perfected; we are part of a company that is pressing on, aiming to grow daily until we assimilate and demonstrate His nature and His ways.

We are fully committed to making His image and likeness visible to cities that are expectant to see the emergence a new order. The architectural drawings for the spiritual Temple are enshrined in the Word of God. We cannot borrow patterns that find their origins in the elementary principles of the world.

In my previous sermon I said that the desire of Abba Father is to give us identity as His people; His family. We who were once not a people, who were once disenfranchised, are now a people of God. The restoration of our dignity begins when our new identity is established. Our hearts and minds become pliable and receptive to the Word of God which is the potter that begins the process to mould and form the spiritual temple of God.The family or household of God is a microcosm of the macrocosm which is the Body of Christ

Let us consider for a moment the great care by which God created the universe.

The Greek word “cosmos” implies Divine order, harmony, balance and orderly arrangement.

It is the absolute antithesis to chaos, anarchy, lawlessness and disorder;

We see the same creative mind of a perfect God revealing harmony, balance and order in all of His creative work. He is not a God of disorder.

We have been created in His likeness and image to represent these very same qualities that reflect the very essence of who God is in the development of the spiritual Temple. There must be an embracing of the tripartite alliance to end the conflict between the body, spirit and soul of the believer.

The apostle Paul declares that this is only possible by the grace of our Lord, Christ Jesus.

The believer, the spiritual Temple of God must reflect His handiwork. We must make visible the nature of the same God working in and through us, His prized and treasured possession, everything in perfect order, harmony and balance. The cloud of witnesses that surround us must immediately recognise God as the builder and Maker of this spiritual Temple.

Where we have strayed from our covenants with God and His Word; where we have estranged ourselves in our relationships with carriers of grace who were called out and sent to us, we need to make the necessary adjustments in order to recover the lost harmony, balance and order that are a testimony to the creative excellence in the mind of God.

God reveals His omnipotence when he finally speaks to Job out of the whirlwind and accuses Job of darkening counsel with words without knowledge.

God was a silent listener to all the conversations between Job and his friends; on how they presented their various perspectives concerning Job’s situation. Job anxiously waited for a response from God. God is always there.

Although Hagar was out of Abraham’s house, she discovered that the God of Abraham did not abandon her. She encountered the God of Abraham as “El Roi” (The God who sees)

Genesis 16:13 Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, “Have I also here seen Him who sees me?”

Although God remains silent, it does not mean that He does not see. His eyes run to and fro the whole earth. David was reliant on the sight of God for righteous judgements against his enemies.

Now God speaks to Job out of the whirlwind for the first time since Job experienced a variety of calamities.

Job 38:4 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?Tell Me, if you have understanding. 5 Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? 6 To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, 7 When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy? 8 “Or who shut in the sea with doors, When it burst forth and issued from the womb;9 When I made the clouds its garment, And thick darkness its swaddling band; 10 When I fixed My limit for it, And set bars and doors; 11 When I said, ‘This far you may come, but no farther, And here your proud waves must stop!’

God reveals Himself as the omnipotent God, the Creator of all things. Even God’s creative work in nature has boundaries. There are appointed places where waves must stop.They may rage uninhibited, without restraint being propelled by strong, tempestuous winds that blow where they wish including the midst of the oceans, but even these proud waves must submit to boundaries and resting places that have been preordained by the declaration of His Word. Their continued flow, violating these boundaries will cause a great loss of lives and property. Man’s trust and faith in the ability of his God to govern over His creation will be brought into doubt.

The spiritual house that God is presently building needs to reflect God’s perfect order, balance and harmony that God has revealed to Job.

The perfect order that was visible to Queen Sheba when she visited the Temple of Solomon is the manifestation of God’s order.

As His image bearers, all our service in ministry must reflect the image and likeness of the mind and nature of the same God who created the cosmos.

Na semana passada, recebemos instruções da Palavra de Deus da Dra. Sagie Govender, do ABC Ministries, que foram penetrantes e provocantes.

Sentimos que os convênios nos lares e famílias de Deus estão sendo submetidos a sérios testes durante este período prolongado de isolamento.

O Espírito Santo imprimiu em meu coração a escritura que se destacou:

1 Coríntios 3:16-17 Vocês não sabem que são santuário de Deus e que o Espírito de Deus habita em vocês?Se alguém destruir o santuário de Deus, Deus o destruirá; pois o  santuário de Deus, que são vocês, é sagrado.

As palavras hebraicas e gregas para “contaminar” dizem a mesma coisa

phtheírō; para desperdiçar, pinho. Para corromper, destruir. ”, Punir com destruição, levar a um estado pior, estragar, viciar, no sentido moral ou espiritual; para subverter ou corromper opiniões; contaminar

A contaminação das alianças na família da fé é igual à contaminação do Templo.

Não reivindicamos já ter alcançado ou já aperfeiçoado; somos parte de uma companhia que segue em frente, com o objetivo de crescer a cada dia até assimilar e demonstrar sua natureza e seus caminhos.

Estamos totalmente empenhados em tornar sua imagem e semelhança visíveis para as cidades que esperam ver o surgimento de uma nova ordem. Os desenhos arquitetônicos do Templo espiritual estão consagrados na Palavra de Deus. Não podemos tomar emprestados padrões que têm sua origem nos princípios elementares do mundo.

Em meu sermão anterior, eu disse que o desejo do Pai Aba é nos dar identidade como Seu povo; A família dele. Nós que antes não éramos um povo, que antes estávamos privados de direitos, agora somos um povo de Deus. A restauração de nossa dignidade começa quando nossa nova identidade é estabelecida. Nossos corações e mentes tornam-se flexíveis e receptivos à Palavra de Deus, que é o oleiro que inicia o processo de moldar e formar o templo espiritual de Deus. A família ou casa de Deus é um microcosmo do macrocosmo que é o Corpo de Cristo.

Consideremos por um momento o grande cuidado com que Deus criou o universo.

A palavra grega “cosmos” implica ordem divina, harmonia, equilíbrio e disposição ordenada.

É a antítese absoluta do caos, anarquia, ilegalidade e desordem;

Vemos a mesma mente criativa de um Deus perfeito revelando harmonia, equilíbrio e ordem em todo o Seu trabalho criativo. Ele não é um Deus de desordem.

Fomos criados à Sua semelhança e imagem para representar essas mesmas qualidades que refletem a própria essência de quem é Deus no desenvolvimento do Templo espiritual. Deve haver uma aceitação da aliança tripartida para encerrar o conflito entre o corpo, espírito e alma do cristão.

O apóstolo Paulo declara que isso só é possível pela graça de nosso Senhor, Cristo Jesus.

O cristão, o Templo espiritual de Deus deve refletir Sua obra. Devemos tornar visível a natureza do mesmo Deus operando em e através de nós, Seu bem precioso e precioso, tudo em perfeita ordem, harmonia e equilíbrio. A nuvem de testemunhas que nos rodeia deve reconhecer imediatamente a Deus como o construtor e Criador deste templo espiritual.

Onde nos desviamos de nossas alianças com Deus e Sua Palavra; onde nos alienamos em nossos relacionamentos com portadores da graça que foram chamados e enviados a nós, precisamos fazer os ajustes necessários a fim de recuperar a harmonia, equilíbrio e ordem perdidos que são um testemunho da excelência criativa na mente de Deus.

Deus revela Sua onipotência quando finalmente fala com Jó do redemoinho e acusa Jó de obscurecer o conselho com palavras sem conhecimento.

Deus era um ouvinte silencioso de todas as conversas entre Jó e seus amigos; sobre como eles apresentaram suas várias perspectivas sobre a situação de Jó. Jó esperou ansiosamente por uma resposta de Deus. Deus está sempre presente.

Embora Hagar estivesse fora da casa de Abraão, ela descobriu que o Deus de Abraão não a abandonou. Ela encontrou o Deus de Abraão como “El Roi” (o Deus que vê).

Embora Deus permaneça em silêncio, isso não significa que Ele não veja. Seus olhos correm para lá e para cá por toda a terra. Davi confiava na visão de Deus para um julgamento justo contra seus inimigos.

Agora, Deus fala com Jó saindo de um redemoinho pela primeira vez desde que Jó experimentou uma variedade de calamidades.

Ou quem lançou sua pedra fundamental, 7 Quando as estrelas da manhã cantavam juntas, E todos os filhos de Deus gritaram de alegria? 8 “Ou quem fecha o mar com portas, Quando explodiu e saiu do útero 9 Quando fiz das nuvens a sua vestimenta, E a escuridão densa é sua faixa envolvente 10 Quando fixei o meu limite para isso, e coloquei grades e portas; 11 Quando eu disse, Você pode chegar até aqui, mas não mais longe, E aqui suas ondas orgulhosas devem parar! ‘

Deus se revela como o Deus onipotente, o Criador de todas as coisas. Mesmo o trabalho criativo de Deus na natureza tem limites. Há lugares designados onde as ondas devem parar. Elas podem se enfurecer desinibidas, sem restrição, sendo impulsionadas por ventos fortes e tempestuosos que sopram onde desejam, incluindo o meio dos oceanos, mas mesmo essas ondas orgulhosas devem se submeter a limites e locais de descanso que foram pré-ordenado pela declaração de Sua Palavra. Seu fluxo contínuo, violando esses limites, causará uma grande perda de vidas e propriedades. A confiança e a fé do homem na capacidade de seu Deus de governar sobre Sua criação serão colocadas em dúvida.

A casa espiritual que Deus está construindo atualmente precisa refletir a perfeita ordem, equilíbrio e harmonia de Deus que Deus revelou a Jó.

A ordem perfeita que era visível para a Rainha Sde Sabá quando ela visitou o Templo de Salomão é a manifestação da ordem de Deus.

Como portadores de Sua imagem, todo o nosso serviço no ministério deve refletir a imagem e semelhança da mente e da natureza do mesmo Deus que criou o cosmos.

I would like to share some key principles from the scriptures that would help us to understand, through the lens of a holy God the blueprint of God for the consolidation of His people whether it is the local household of faith, Father/Son wineskin, a family of churches or the Body of Christ.

Following the exodus of God’s people from Egypt, in the third month, God commands Moses to gather His people at the foot of Mount Sinai where He would give Moses the Commandments and Laws that are necessary for His people to evolve into a family of God. The emergence of a Godly culture has to be undergirded and administrated by these laws, commands and instructions.

STATEMENT OF INTENT (DIVINE)

This is an expression that is often used in contractual law. Without a declaration of intent no legal transaction can be successfully completed. There is a covenant that was established at Mount Sinai.

Exodus 19:4 You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. 5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. 6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”

Obedience to His voice and maintaining our covenantal relationship with God will cause us to be a treasure above all people; a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. This is His Divine Intent for His people concerning their identity.

ALTHOUGH GOD SPOKE TO MOSES, GOD MADE SURE THAT HIS COMMANDS WERE HEARD BY THE WHOLE CONGREGATION OF GOD’S PEOPLE.

Exodus 19:9 And the LORD said to Moses, “Behold, I come to you in the thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever.”

So Moses told the words of the people to the Lord. If we desire a Corporate outcome for the Body of Christ, there has to be corporate communication of Divine intent.

“That the people may believe you forever”

God is avoiding possible errors in interpretation God is fully supportive of the credibility of the One that He sends. When we speak from the scriptures, we do not need to struggle to convince people – It is the Word of God. Everyone at Mount Sinai knew what God spoke to Moses – they heard the voice of God. Everyone today knows what the Word of God says; Jesus Himself would declare “It is written”

I would like to talk about the importance of a preamble in any organization; more specifically, the preamble or the introductory statements to the giving of the Law to Moses, that would determine the basis of a covenantal relationship between God and His people.

A preamble usually contains the essential and non negotiable principles and values that would reveal the intended culture, ethos or value system of an organization. God did not expect Moses to have dialogue with the people and get back to Him with a response.

All leadership and governing models used to govern God’s people today should align themselves to these principles that are enshrined in the preamble. Any strategy that is developed by human design, that does not conform to His Word and His laws will produce lawlessness, chaos, confusion and anarchy.

The father/son wineskin also finds its inspiration in the preamble. It contributes to a Divine blueprint for the leadership of the church on the earth. When five fold graces bypass the authority and counsel of the spiritual father who represents the grace of the Eternal Father in his designated sphere, this action will produce fragmented, contentious, sectarian congregations like the household of Chloe (refer to the article)). If we apply the representative principle it will bring the integrity of the preamble into disrepute.

Spiritual fathers facilitate grace transactions and administrate the deployment of five fold grace. These graces are critical for the edification of the Lord’s church.

If we apply the representative principle of the preamble, we will conclude that no five fold grace can outrank a father in his family.

There are non negotiable barriers to entering into a covenantal relationship with a holy God. When we violate His Divine intent, concerning His Sovereignty for His family, we begin to function outside His will and His purpose.

The opening seven verses of Exodus 20, deal exclusively with God’s expectations concerning our understanding of who He is. It is imperative that all believers are able to unite and integrate around the preamble. If we violate God’s express commands in the preamble, we have willfully chosen to function outside His covenant.

What is the purpose of the preamble?

It has the inherent ability to unite and to integrate a people. It also contributes to determining the ethos or value system that would be central to the development of the culture of God’s people. It clearly specifies and identifies Almighty God as the source of sovereignty. Very importantly, for believers it has the inherent ability to build national identity in a people who were once not a people. Apostle Peter defines our identity under the New Covenant …. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people. Once we were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy

You will find the mercy of God mentioned in the preamble to the Law also. God will show mercy to thousands, to those who love Him and keep His commandments.

The first three verses of Exodus 20 reveal statements that are unshakeable. This means that as long as any household, family or institution is flying the flag of God, they are morally and ethically bound to maintain the integrity of these statements.

Exodus 20:1 And God spoke all these words, saying: 2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.

God is addressing His entire congregation. God is demanding total consecration and obedience and devotion to Him because of everything He has done in liberating His people from the place of captivity. This is non negotiable.

Jesus would be sent to the earth thousands of years later and He declared the same thing; this is not surprising; if we believe the doctrine of the Holy Trinity, you have to believe that Jesus, the Son and the Holy Spirit were right there supporting the Father at Sinai.

Jesus would make the statement by God watertight and bulletproof when He gives us a New Commandment, declaring…. “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’’

All other Egyptian deities and Egyptian ways have to be expunged from the minds and hearts of God’s people if we are going to overcome the first barrier to entry. God has supernaturally brought His people into a new place where our faithfulness in our covenant with Him and His Word will confer Divine protection and immunity over our lives.

Let me quickly add that the whole earth belongs to the Lord, including Egypt. A sovereign and Almighty God cannot possibly be intimidated by the earth or anything that He created upon the earth. God is now talking about giving His people a national identity.

Why did God declare : “I am the Lord your God”

Moses was God’s chosen vessel and instrument that God would use to bring His people out of Egypt; one of the greatest leaders of God’s people. Moses was the voice of God to the people; God’s faithful representative. God told Moses : “I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.” Moses was God’s set man over Israel. The Lord said to Moses: “See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh. Yet Moses and the people must remember that it is God who enables and empowers His servants; as awesome as the miracles that Moses had done, he must always remember that it is God who makes things happen; it is God who empowers; it is God who caused the supernatural separation of the waters. It is God who brought water out of the rock….. it is God who sent the manna and the quail. Thousands of years later Jesus had to adjust the erroneous doctrine of the people who sat in the seat of Moses.

John 6:32 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven.

Leaders must exercise great restraint in this area; we have been head hunted by the Lord our God to execute His laws on the earth. It is so easy to be ensnared by the seductive praises of idolatrous nations.

The lamentation in the heart of God is clearly revealed in Isaiah 30

Isaiah 30:1 “Woe to the rebellious children,” says the Lord, “Who take counsel, but not of Me, And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, that they may add sin to sin; 2 Who walk to go down to Egypt, And have not asked My advice, To strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, And to trust in the shadow of Egypt! 3 Therefore the strength of Pharaoh. Shall be your shame, And trust in the shadow of Egypt shall be your humiliation.

Psalm 91 reveals another shadow

Believers are called to abide under the shadow of the Almighty; where His people are united around His Divine intent and expectations; when He is enshrined and positioned as the centre of the corporate assembly; when the total integrity of the preamble is factored into the building process; then that corporate assembly will also cast His shadow over the city, that brings safety, security, protection against entrapment, long life and other benefits that are mentioned in the Psalm.

I want to talk briefly about these two shadows ……

Isaiah prophesies against the backdrop of the people of God being overwhelmed by the Assyrians and having violated His Divine Intent in the preamble concerning the relationship between God and His people.

When we are not anchored to God’s Divine Intent for our lives, we will become vulnerable to the seduction of other deities.

God has noted that His people have violated the demands and therefore the integrity of the preamble. His people have profaned His instructions by received counsel from other sources; God’s people have embraced plans that are not consistent with His Word.

God is saying that His people have forsaken His counsel and have made unsanctioned visits to Egypt; wilfully choosing to place their trust in Egypt which even Sennacherib calls a broken reed. This broken reed will not only wound the people of God, it will also pierce them with many sorrows.

When God’s family are in alignment with His Divine Intent and demonstrate His nature we are able to cast a shadow in whatever environment that we find ourselves because the spirit of God has chosen us as His dwelling place.

Ten righteous men would have cast a shadow of protection over Sodom and Gomorrah.

Even two or three gathered in His Name, can cast a shadow.

All the benefits of abiding under the shadow of the Almighty are found in Psalm 91

Even the Most High, your dwelling place,

Psalms 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,

10 No evil shall befall you,

Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,

To keep you in all your ways.

12 In their hands they shall bear you up,

Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,

The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;

I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble;

I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him,

And show him My salvation.”

His people will “abide”. The Hebrew word for abide is “Lun”

It means to lodge, to tarry. It means to rest, to stay. It is used figuratively about Zion being a permanent place of rest

• Refuge under His wings

• Fortress

• Place of immunity against dangerous pestilence and plagues

• Protection against entrapment

PROTECTION

Visualise a hen covering her chicks with her feathers.

God’s word becomes our shield and protection

We dwell in a place of NO FEAR –

We are not intimidated by the terrors of the night or the arrows that fly by day

The spirit of destruction will not come near us

It is a place where we will see the reward of the wicked.

Why?

“Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,

Even the Most High, your dwelling place”

In this place we have access to the protection conferred by angels over us.

The lion and the cobra we will trample underfoot

A place where we will enjoy long life

A place where we will be exalted and set on high

We can call upon Him at all times

He has set His love upon us

What do we have to do?

Abide in His shadow. If Christ is the substance then His representative company is able to cast His shadow. If we remove the tree, we will also lose its shadow.

INTENÇÃO DIVINA

Eu gostaria de compartilhar alguns princípios fundamentais das escrituras que nos ajudariam a compreender, através das lentes de um Deus santo, o projeto de Deus para a consolidação de Seu povo, seja a família local da fé, odre Pai / Filho, um família de igrejas ou o Corpo de Cristo.

Após o êxodo do povo de Deus do Egito, no terceiro mês, Deus ordena a Moisés que reúna Seu povo no pé do Monte Sinai, onde Ele daria a Moisés os Mandamentos e as Leis que são necessários para que Seu povo evolua para uma família de Deus. O surgimento de uma cultura piedosa deve ser embasado e administrado por essas leis, comandos e instruções.

DECLARAÇÃO DE INTENÇÃO (DIVINA)

Esta é uma expressão muito usada no direito contratual. Sem uma declaração de intenções, nenhuma transação legal pode ser concluída com êxito. Existe uma aliança que foi estabelecida no Monte Sinai.

Êxodo 19:4-6 ‘Vocês viram o que fiz ao Egito e como os transportei sobre asas de águias e os trouxe para junto de mim. Agora, se me obedecerem fielmente e guardarem a minha aliança, vocês serão o meu tesouro pessoal dentre todas as nações. Embora toda a terra seja minha, vocês serão para mim um reino de sacerdotes e uma nação santa’. Essas são as palavras que você dirá aos israelitas”.

A obediência à Sua voz e a manutenção de nosso relacionamento de aliança com Deus farão com que sejamos um tesouro acima de todas as pessoas; um reino de sacerdotes e uma nação sagrada. Este é o Seu Divino Intenção para o Seu povo a respeito de sua identidade.

APESAR DE DEUS FALAR A MOISÉS, DEUS TINHA CERTEZA QUE SEUS COMANDOS FORAM OUVIDOS POR TODA A CONGREGAÇÃO DO POVO DE DEUS.

Êxodo 19: 9 Disse o Senhor a Moisés: “Virei a você numa densa nuvem, a fim de que o povo, ouvindo-me falar-lhe, passe a confiar sempre em você”. Então Moisés relatou ao Senhor o que o povo lhe dissera.

Então Moisés disse as palavras do povo ao Senhor. Se desejamos um resultado corporativo para o Corpo de Cristo, deve haver comunicação corporativa da intenção Divina.

“o povo, ouvindo-me falar-lhe, passe a confiar sempre em você”

Deus está evitando possíveis erros de interpretação. Deus apoia totalmente a credibilidade daquele que Ele envia. Quando falamos nas escrituras, não precisamos lutar para convencer as pessoas – é a Palavra de Deus. Todos no Monte Sinai sabiam o que Deus falou a Moisés – eles ouviram a voz de Deus. Todos hoje sabem o que a Palavra de Deus diz; O próprio Jesus declararia “Está escrito”

Eu gostaria de falar sobre a importância de um preâmbulo em qualquer organização; mais especificamente, o preâmbulo ou as declarações introdutórias à entrega da Lei a Moisés, que determinaria a base de uma relação de aliança entre Deus e Seu povo.

Um preâmbulo geralmente contém os princípios e valores essenciais e não negociáveis que revelariam a cultura pretendida, o ethos ou o sistema de valores de uma organização. Deus não esperava que Moisés tivesse um diálogo com o povo e retornasse a Ele com uma resposta.

Todos os modelos de liderança e governo usados para governar o povo de Deus hoje devem se alinhar a esses princípios que estão consagrados no preâmbulo. Qualquer estratégia desenvolvida por projeto humano, que não esteja em conformidade com Sua Palavra e Suas leis, produzirá ilegalidade, caos, confusão e anarquia.

O odre pai / filho também encontra inspiração no preâmbulo. Contribui para um projeto Divino para a liderança da igreja na terra. Quando as graças quíntuplas contornam a autoridade e o conselho do pai espiritual que representa a graça do Pai Eterno em sua esfera designada, essa ação produzirá congregações fragmentadas e contenciosas, sectárias, como a casa de Cloe (consulte o artigo). Se aplicarmos o princípio representativo, isso prejudicará a integridade do preâmbulo.

Os pais espirituais facilitam as transações de graça e administram a implantação da graça quíntupla. Essas graças são essenciais para a edificação da igreja do Senhor.

Se aplicarmos o princípio representativo do preâmbulo, concluiremos que nenhuma graça quíntupla pode superar um pai em sua família.

Existem barreiras não negociáveis para entrar em um relacionamento de aliança com um Deus santo. Quando violamos Sua intenção divina, a respeito de Sua soberania para sua família, começamos a funcionar fora de Sua vontade e Seu propósito.

Os sete versículos iniciais de Êxodo 20 tratam exclusivamente das expectativas de Deus em relação ao nosso entendimento de quem Ele é. É imperativo que todos os crentes sejam capazes de se unir e integrar em torno do preâmbulo. Se violarmos os mandamentos expressos de Deus no preâmbulo, escolhemos deliberadamente funcionar fora de Sua aliança.

Qual é o propósito do preâmbulo?

Tem a capacidade inerente de unir e integrar um povo. Também contribui para determinar o ethos ou sistema de valores que seria central para o desenvolvimento da cultura do povo de Deus. Ele claramente especifica e identifica o Deus Todo-Poderoso como a fonte da soberania. Muito importante, para os crentes, tem a capacidade inerente de construir a identidade nacional de um povo que antes não era um povo. O Apóstolo Pedro define nossa identidade sob a Nova Aliança…. Somos uma geração escolhida, um sacerdócio real, uma nação sagrada, Seu próprio povo especial. Antes não éramos um povo, mas agora somos o povo de Deus, que não havia obtido misericórdia, mas agora obteve misericórdia

Você encontrará a misericórdia de Deus mencionada no preâmbulo da Lei também. Deus terá misericórdia de milhares, daqueles que O amam e guardam Seus mandamentos.

Os três primeiros versículos de Êxodo 20 revelam declarações inabaláveis. Isso significa que, enquanto qualquer casa, família ou instituição estiver hasteando a bandeira de Deus, eles são moral e eticamente obrigados a manter a integridade dessas declarações.

Êxodo 20:1-3 E Deus falou todas estas palavras: “Eu sou o Senhor, o teu Deus, que te tirou do Egito, da terra da escravidão. “Não terás outros deuses além de mim.

Deus está se dirigindo a toda a sua congregação. Deus está exigindo total consagração, obediência e devoção a Ele por causa de tudo o que Ele fez para libertar Seu povo do cativeiro. Isso não é negociável.

Jesus seria enviado à terra milhares de anos depois e Ele declarou a mesma coisa; isso não é surpreendente; se acreditamos na doutrina da Santíssima Trindade, você tem que acreditar que Jesus, o Filho e o Espírito Santo estavam ali apoiando o Pai no Sinai.

Jesus faria a declaração de Deus cabal e à prova de balas quando Ele nos dá um Novo Mandamento, declarando…. “Amarás o Senhor teu Deus com todo o teu coração, com toda a tua alma e com toda a tua mente. ”

Todas as outras divindades egípcias e costumes egípcios devem ser eliminados das mentes e corações do povo de Deus se quisermos superar a primeira barreira de entrada. Deus sobrenaturalmente trouxe Seu povo a um novo lugar onde nossa fidelidade em nossa aliança com Ele e Sua Palavra conferirá proteção Divina e imunidade sobre nossas vidas.

Deixe-me acrescentar rapidamente que toda a terra pertence ao Senhor, incluindo o Egito. Um Deus soberano e Todo-Poderoso não pode ser intimidado pela terra ou por qualquer coisa que Ele criou na terra. Deus agora está falando sobre dar ao Seu povo uma identidade nacional.

Por que Deus declarou: “Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus”

Moisés foi o vaso e instrumento escolhido por Deus que Deus usaria para tirar Seu povo do Egito; um dos maiores líderes do povo de Deus. Moisés era a voz de Deus para o povo; Representante fiel de Deus. Deus disse a Moisés: “Eu serei com a tua boca e te ensinarei o que hás de dizer.” Moisés foi o homem estabelecido por Deus sobre Israel. O Senhor disse a Moisés: “Veja, eu te fiz como Deus para Faraó. No entanto, Moisés e o povo devem lembrar que é Deus quem capacita e capacita Seus servos; por mais impressionantes que sejam os milagres que Moisés fez, ele deve sempre se lembrar de que é Deus quem faz as coisas acontecerem; é Deus quem dá poder; foi Deus quem causou a separação sobrenatural das águas. Foi Deus quem tirou água da rocha … foi Deus quem enviou o maná e a codorna. Milhares de anos depois, Jesus teve que ajustar a doutrina errônea do povo que estava sentado na cadeira de Moisés.

João 6:32 Declarou-lhes Jesus: “Digo-lhes a verdade: Não foi Moisés quem lhes deu pão do céu, mas é meu Pai quem lhes dá o verdadeiro pão do céu.

Os líderes devem exercer grande moderação nesta área; fomos caçados pelo Senhor nosso Deus para executar Suas leis na terra. É tão fácil ser enredado pelos louvores sedutores de nações idólatras.

A lamentação no coração de Deus é claramente revelada em Isaías 30

Isaías 30:1-3 “Ai dos filhos obstinados”, declara o Senhor, “que executam planos que não são meus, fazem acordo sem minha aprovação, para ajuntar pecado sobre pecado, que descem ao Egito sem consultar-me, para buscar proteção no poder do faraó, e refúgio na sombra do Egito. Mas a proteção do faraó lhes trará vergonha, e a sombra do Egito lhe causará humilhação.

Salmo 91 revela outra sombra

Os crentes são chamados a permanecer sob a sombra do Todo-Poderoso; onde Seu povo está unido em torno de Sua intenção e expectativas Divinas; quando Ele é consagrado e posicionado como o centro da assembléia corporativa; quando a integridade total do preâmbulo é considerada no processo de construção; então, aquela assembléia corporativa também lançará Sua sombra sobre a cidade, que traz segurança, proteção, proteção contra aprisionamento, vida longa e outros benefícios mencionados no Salmo.

Eu quero falar brevemente sobre essas duas sombras …

Isaías profetiza tendo como pano de fundo o povo de Deus sendo dominado pelos assírios e tendo violado Seu Divino Intenção no preâmbulo a respeito do relacionamento entre Deus e Seu povo.

Quando não estamos ancorados na Intenção Divina de Deus para nossas vidas, nos tornaremos vulneráveis à sedução de outras divindades.

Deus notou que Seu povo violou as exigências e, portanto, a integridade do preâmbulo. Seu povo profanou Suas instruções por conselho recebido de outras fontes; O povo de Deus abraçou planos que não são consistentes com Sua Palavra.

Deus está dizendo que Seu povo abandonou Seu conselho e fez visitas não sancionadas ao Egito; escolher voluntariamente colocar sua confiança no Egito, que até Senaqueribe chama de cana quebrada. Esta cana quebrada não só ferirá o povo de Deus, mas também o traspassará com muitas dores.

Quando a família de Deus está em alinhamento com Sua Intenção Divina e demonstra Sua natureza, somos capazes de lançar uma sombra em qualquer ambiente em que nos encontramos, porque o espírito de Deus nos escolheu como Sua morada.

Dez homens justos teriam lançado uma sombra de proteção sobre Sodoma e Gomorra.

Mesmo dois ou três reunidos em Seu Nome, podem lançar uma sombra.

Todos os benefícios de permanecer sob a sombra do Todo-Poderoso são encontrados no Salmo 91

Mesmo o Altíssimo, sua morada,

Significa hospedar-se, permanecer. Significa descansar, ficar. É usado figurativamente sobre Sião sendo um lugar de descanso permanente

Bênçãos que vêm por permanecer ou permanecer em repouso sob a sombra do Deus Todo-Poderoso.

MESSAGE BY PASTOR ALISTAIR PILLAY TO CCF INTERNATIONAL CHURCH

I speak to you as the earth is suffering under the crippling weight of this pandemic. Many believers are reviewing their understanding of the ways of God.

As we heard last week we must embrace the reality that our lives are determined by a Sovereign God. Even as much of the world is in great turmoil, God remains in complete control of all creation. We cannot question His ways.

1 John 4:14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world

There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

This morning we will discuss, briefly, the main aspects of the grace of God

There are two types of grace: Common and Special grace.

Common grace is extended to all humanity, irrespective of your religious, racial, ethnic, gender, financial or social status.

For example, the offer of salvation is made to all humanity. This is common grace.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Special grace is experienced by those who have received and accepted this offer of salvation.

Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. 14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

Special grace is received when we collaborate with the Spirit filled Word of God after we have received Christ as our Saviour, who then conscientises us concerning our spiritual development.

These are some of the ways to attract special grace.

1. Obedience to instruction

When we are obedient to Gods instruction we receive special grace

The scriptures declare that we should meditate on His law day and night. We should not depart from it. The word of God brings strength and health to our bones.

Acceleration in the spread of this virus is through lawlessness and a total disregard for our knowledge concerning this virus. Our faith must collaborate with knowledge.

2. Having an unshakable faith in our Saviour

Even the kings of this earth must come to a place of total conviction concerning the absolute, incontestable will of an Almighty God.

2 Kings 6:27 And he said, “If the LORD does not help you, where can I find help for you? From the threshing floor or from the winepress?”

We are all in this together. God is enforcing His status as King of kings and Lord of Lords, the Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent God.

David believed the same thing. “Who can tell whether the Lord will be gracious to me?”

2 Samuel 12:22 And he said, “While the child was alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, ‘Who can tell whether the LORD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?’

3. Humility

Humility is the key for us to attracting the grace of God

James 4:6 Therefore it says God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble

We have nothing to be proud about. We have nothing to boast about. Everything that we have comes from God. It was God who first loved us. Even the revelation we receive comes from God. Psalm 24 says that the earth and everyone who dwells in it were created by God

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;

4. Will of God

Staying in the will of God, attracts the Grace of God. The will of God is directly linked to his word. If we are faithful to his word and able to live according to his word, then we attract Gods grace. The word of God is God’s revealed will for believers.

We must submit ourselves to Gods will

John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of Him who sent me

Even Jesus was able to submit to the will of The Father. God is also spirit. And is able to reveal His will for you by his spirit. We worship God in spirit and truth. For God’s will to be revealed to us, God has to speak to us directly

When Joseph went to his father about his dreams, the scripture says that his father kept the matter in mind. Joseph had to hear from God himself.

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

The Holy Spirit is able to guide you in the will of God.

1 Peter 5:10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all Grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you.

Amen, even though we may be going through difficult times now we must remain obedient, humble and stay in the will of God that is revealed through His Word.

5. Grace is transmitted through His sent One, the set man of the household of faith.

Grace is attracted. There are multiple examples of this in scripture.

The widow in Zarephath had to give up her little oil and flour to make a cake for Elijah. Supernatural grace was released into the house when the widow’s economy and her son were resurrected. The grace of God is transmitted through a human vessel.

6. We can receive grace from other carriers of grace

Luke 10:33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. 34 So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ 36 So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?”

This is the story of a man who was robbed and seriously assaulted by a band of thieves. The priest and the Levite avoided the opportunity to help this man. It was the Samaritan who released grace to him.

We pray that the God of all grace will establish and strengthen you. Blessings and great grace to you.

Falo com você enquanto a Terra está sofrendo sob o peso incapacitante desta pandemia. Muitos crentes estão revisando sua compreensão dos caminhos de Deus.

Como ouvimos na semana passada, devemos aceitar a realidade de que nossas vidas são determinadas por um Deus Soberano. Mesmo com grande parte do mundo em grande turbulência, Deus permanece no controle completo de toda a criação. Não podemos questionar Seus caminhos.

1 João 4:14 E vimos e testemunhamos que o Pai enviou seu Filho para ser o Salvador do mundo.

Não há nenhum outro nome sob o céu dado entre os homens pelo qual devamos ser salvos, mas o nome de Jesus Cristo.

Efésios 2:8-9 Pois vocês são salvos pela graça, por meio da fé, e isto não vem de vocês, é dom de Deus; não por obras, para que ninguém se glorie.

Esta manhã vamos discutir, brevemente, os principais aspectos da graça de Deus

Existem dois tipos de graça: graça comum e graça especial.

A graça comum é estendida a toda a humanidade, independentemente de sua condição religiosa, racial, étnica, de gênero, financeira ou social.

Por exemplo, a oferta de salvação é feita a toda a humanidade. Esta é a graça comum.

João 3:16-17 Porque Deus tanto amou o mundo que deu o seu Filho Unigênito, para que todo o que nele crer não pereça, mas tenha a vida eterna. Pois Deus enviou o seu Filho ao mundo, não para condenar o mundo, mas para que este fosse salvo por meio dele.

Graça especial é experimentada por aqueles que receberam e aceitaram esta oferta de salvação.

Filipenses 2:12 Assim, meus amados, como sempre vocês obedeceram, não apenas em minha presença, porém muito mais agora na minha ausência, ponham em ação a salvação de vocês com temor e tremor, pois é Deus quem efetua em vocês tanto o querer quanto o realizar, de acordo com a boa vontade dele. Façam tudo sem queixas nem discussões, para que venham a tornar-se puros e irrepreensíveis, filhos de Deus inculpáveis no meio de uma geração corrompida e depravada, na qual vocês brilham como estrelas no universo,

Uma graça especial é recebida quando colaboramos com a Palavra de Deus cheia do Espírito depois de termos recebido Cristo como nosso Salvador, que então nos conscientiza quanto ao nosso desenvolvimento espiritual.

Essas são algumas das maneiras de atrair graça especial.

1. OBEDIÊNCIA A INSTRUÇÃO

Quando somos obedientes às instruções de Deus, recebemos uma graça especial

As escrituras declaram que devemos meditar em Sua lei dia e noite. Não devemos nos afastar disso. A palavra de Deus traz força e saúde aos nossos ossos.

A aceleração da propagação deste vírus ocorre devido à ilegalidade e um total desprezo pelo nosso conhecimento sobre este vírus. Nossa fé deve colaborar com o conhecimento.

2. TER UMA FÉ INABALÁVEL EM NOSSO SALVADOR

Até mesmo os reis desta terra devem chegar a um lugar de total convicção sobre a vontade absoluta e incontestável de um Deus Todo-poderoso.

2 Reis 6:27 O rei respondeu: “Se o Senhor não socorrê-la, como poderei ajudá-la? Acaso há trigo na eira ou vinho no lagar? “

Nós estamos todos juntos nisso. Deus está reforçando Seu status como Rei dos reis e Senhor dos Senhores, o Deus Onisciente, Onipotente e Onipresente.

Davi acreditava na mesma coisa. “Quem pode dizer se o Senhor será misericordioso comigo?”

2 Samuel 12:22 Ele respondeu: “Enquanto a criança ainda estava viva, jejuei e chorei. Eu pensava: ‘Quem sabe? Talvez o Senhor tenha misericórdia de mim e deixe a criança viver’.

3. HUMILDADE

A humildade é a chave para atrairmos a graça de Deus

Tiago 4:6 Mas ele nos concede graça maior. Por isso diz a Escritura: “Deus se opõe aos orgulhosos, mas concede graça aos humildes”.

Não temos nada do que nos orgulhar. Tudo o que temos vem de Deus. Foi Deus quem nos amou primeiro. Até a revelação que recebemos vem de Deus. O Salmo 24 diz que a terra e todos os que nela habitam foram criados por Deus

Colossenses 3:12 Portanto, como povo escolhido de Deus, santo e amado, revistam-se de profunda compaixão, bondade, humildade, mansidão e paciência.

4. VONTADE DE DEUS

Permanecendo na vontade de Deus, atrai a Graça de Deus. A vontade de Deus está diretamente ligada à sua palavra. Se formos fiéis à sua palavra e formos capazes de viver de acordo com a sua palavra, atrairemos a graça de Deus. A palavra de Deus é a vontade revelada de Deus para os crentes.

Devemos nos submeter à vontade de Deus

João 6:38 Pois desci do céu, não para fazer a minha vontade, mas para fazer a vontade daquele que me enviou.

Até mesmo Jesus foi capaz de se submeter à vontade do pai. Deus também é espírito. E é capaz de revelar Sua vontade para você por meio de seu espírito. Adoramos a Deus em espírito e verdade. Para que a vontade de Deus seja revelada a nós, Deus tem que falar conosco diretamente

Quando José conversou com seu pai sobre seus sonhos, a escritura diz que seu pai manteve o assunto em mente. José teve que ouvir o próprio Deus.

João 14:26 Mas o Conselheiro, o Espírito Santo, que o Pai enviará em meu nome, lhes ensinará todas as coisas e lhes fará lembrar tudo o que eu lhes disse.

O Espírito Santo pode guiá-lo na vontade de Deus.

1 Pedro 5:10 O Deus de toda a graça, que os chamou para a sua glória eterna em Cristo Jesus, depois de terem sofrido durante pouco de tempo, os restaurará, os confirmará, lhes dará forças e os porá sobre firmes alicerces.

Amém, mesmo que estejamos passando por momentos difíceis agora devemos permanecer obedientes, humildes e permanecer na vontade de Deus que é revelada através de Sua Palavra.

5. A GRAÇA É TRANSMITIDA POR MEIO DE SEU ENVIADO, O HOMEM ESTABELECIDO DA FAMÍLIA DA FÉ

A graça é atraída. Existem vários exemplos disso nas escrituras.

A viúva de Sarepta teve que abrir mão de seu pouco de azeite e farinha para fazer um bolo para Elias. Graça sobrenatural foi liberada na casa quando a economia da viúva e seu filho foram ressuscitados. A graça de Deus é transmitida por meio de um vaso humano.

6. Podemos receber graça de outros portadores da graça

Lucas 10: 33Mas um samaritano, que ia de viagem, chegou perto dele e, vendo-o, encheu-se de compaixão; 34 e aproximando-se, atou-lhe as feridas, deitando nelas azeite e vinho; e pondo-o sobre a sua cavalgadura, levou-o para uma estalagem e cuidou dele. 35 No dia seguinte tirou dois denários, deu-os ao hospedeiro e disse-lhe: Cuida dele; e tudo o que gastares a mais, eu to pagarei quando voltar. 36 Qual, pois, destes três te parece ter sido o próximo daquele que caiu nas mãos dos salteadores?

Esta é a história de um homem que foi roubado e seriamente agredido por um bando de ladrões. O sacerdote e o levita evitaram a oportunidade de ajudar esse homem. Foi o samaritano quem concedeu graça a ele.

Oramos para que o Deus de toda a graça os estabeleça e fortaleça. Bênçãos e grande graça para você.

We are all suffering under the weight of this pandemic – it is affecting everyone and everything. It does not appear to discriminate on the basis of our faith, race or social status.

It is also eroding the faith of many believers.

Although God has answered many of our prayers; however, concerning this pandemic, it would appear that God is not listening to the prayers of the saints. There is widespread grief and mourning. There has never been a time such as this where the sovereignty of God has been so clearly demonstrated.

For those who have experienced loss, I would like to encourage you in understanding the Sovereignty of God; that His will overrides and supercedes our best laid plans and expectations.

The will of God is clearly demonstrated in the life of David.

2 Samuel 12:15 Then Nathan departed to his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah’s wife bore to David, and it became ill. 16 David therefore pleaded with God for the child, and David fasted and went in and lay all night on the ground. 17 So the elders of his house arose and went to him, to raise him up from the ground. But he would not, nor did he eat food with them.

Nathan, the prophet disclosed the will of God to David concerning his son with Bathsheba. The will of God is that the child dies. Even though David pleaded for the life of the child, fasted and prayed, lay all night on the ground, refusing to be consoled, God’s sovereign will did not change.

2 Samuel 12:19 When David saw that his servants were whispering, David perceived that the child was dead. Therefore David said to his servants, “Is the child dead?” And they said, “He is dead.” 20 So David arose from the ground, washed and anointed himself, and changed his clothes; and he went into the house of the LORD and worshiped. Then he went to his own house; and when he requested, they set food before him, and he ate. 21 Then his servants said to him, “What is this that you have done? You fasted and wept for the child while he was alive, but when the child died, you arose and ate food.” 22 And he said, “While the child was alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, ‘Who can tell whether the LORD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?’ 23 But now he is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.”

After the child died, we see a complete change in the position of David. He washed and anointed himself, he changed his clothes, entered the house of the Lord and worshipped. When David accepted the will of God that his son must die, his disposition and attitude changed. He entered the house of the Lord to worship.

Paul explains this truth to the Ephesians …….

Ephesians 1:11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

The Word of God is a revelation of the revealed will of God. A violation of His Word is a violation of His revealed will.

“All things” refers to everything that exists. All things were created by the will of God. The hardest thing is to understand the counsel of His will.

James exposes our innermost thoughts concerning our well laid plans and goals. Many of us had great plans in place for 2019 –

The will of God, however, demanded that we go into our homes and isolate ourselves, at a time when our own plans demanded greater interaction, collaboration and fellowship – God’s supreme, incontestable will demanded isolation, and keeping our hands washed and clean – and when we had to venture out – social distancing

James 4:13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” 16 But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.

Once again we see that a Sovereign God will disrupt all our plans to ensure that His plans and His will for our lives is prioritised.

Job informs us that in God’s hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind

We boast about our long term planning.

God calls that evil. We are not saying that planning and strategising is futile; we are saying that we must prepare our hearts to accept the incontestable will of God even if it is contrary to our own plans. God expects us to trust Him in every moment of every day

The life of a tiny little bird, the sparrow is in the hands of God

Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

God as the creator of heaven and earth has the absolute, incontestable right and full authority to do or allow whatever He desires. He does not make random, knee jerk decisions; He does not wait to see how things will turn out – He knows how things will turn out before they do. God does not have an alternate plan for an emergency. He knows the end of a matter. Job declares that our days on the earth are determined by the Lord, that the number of our months is with God who has appointed our limits, so that we cannot pass. His predetermined will overrides and supercedes our best laid plans and noble intentions. Jesus asks :

Matthew 6:27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

GOD MANIFESTS HIS WILL THROUGH HUMAN COLLABORATION

God works in collaboration with human actions to bring His will or His desired outcome to pass. God does not function mystically.

Our acceptance of the Sovereignty of God, must not bring us to a place where we regard prayers as unnecessary. This would be a tragic misunderstanding of the Sovereignty of God.

This is clearly demonstrated in the life of King Hezekiah who prayed to God for a reprieve from his impending death. God had to recommission His prophet to return to Hezekiah and inform him that God has heard his prayers and that 15 years would be added to his life.

2 Kings 20:5 “Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD.

The vision that the prophet Jeremiah had at the potter’s house related to God’s willingness and His enduring mercy to “make Israel again” ….. to reform His people …. to remove their pre existing condition – to renew His people. This process to reform His people is accomplished through His Word. We must always be open to receive His Word

As believers we must know at all times that we are in the hands of a merciful God. It is well within our ability to acknowledge our errors; we have all sinned and fallen short; we are able repent and reset; we are able to realign ourselves to His purposes and His will.

Embora Deus tenha respondido a muitas de nossas orações; no entanto, em relação a esta pandemia, parece que Deus não está ouvindo as orações dos santos. O luto e a dor são generalizados. Nunca houve um tempo como este em que a soberania de Deus fosse tão claramente demonstrada.

Para aqueles que passaram por perdas, gostaria de encorajá-los a compreender a Soberania de Deus; que Sua vontade anula e supera nossos melhores planos e expectativas.

A vontade de Deus é claramente demonstrada na vida de Davi.

2 Samuel 12:15-17 Depois que Natã foi para casa, o Senhor fez adoecer o filho que a mulher de Urias dera a Davi. E Davi implorou a Deus em favor da criança. Depois que a criança morreu, vemos uma mudança completa na posição de Davi. Ele se lavou e se ungiu, trocou de roupa, entrou na casa do Senhor e adorou. Quando Davi aceitou a vontade de Deus de que seu filho morresse, sua disposição e atitude mudaram. Ele entrou na casa do Senhor para adorar.

Paulo explica esta verdade aos Efésios…

Efésios 1:11 Nele fomos também escolhidos, tendo sido predestinados conforme o plano daquele que faz todas as coisas segundo o propósito da sua vontade,

A Palavra de Deus é uma revelação da vontade revelada de Deus. Uma violação de Sua Palavra é uma violação de Sua vontade revelada.

“Todas as coisas” se refere a tudo o que existe. Todas as coisas foram criadas pela vontade de Deus. O mais difícil é entender o conselho de Sua vontade.

Tiago expõe nossos pensamentos mais íntimos sobre nossos planos e objetivos bem definidos. Muitos de nós tínhamos grandes planos para 2020.

Ao invés disso, deveriam dizer: “Se o Senhor quiser, viveremos e faremos isto ou aquilo”. Agora, porém, vocês se vangloriam das suas pretensões. Toda vanglória como essa é maligna.

Mais uma vez, vemos que um Deus Soberano interromperá todos os nossos planos para garantir que Seus planos e Sua vontade para nossas vidas sejam priorizados.

Jó nos informa que nas mãos de Deus está a vida de todos os seres vivos, e o sopro de toda a humanidade

Nos orgulhamos de nosso planejamento de longo prazo.

Deus chama isso de mal. Não estamos dizendo que o planejamento e a estratégia são fúteis; estamos dizendo que devemos preparar nosso coração para aceitar a vontade incontestável de Deus, mesmo que seja contrária aos nossos próprios planos. Deus espera que confiemos nele em todos os momentos de cada dia.

A vida de um pequeno passarinho, o pardal está nas mãos de Deus

Mateus 10:29-31 Não se vendem dois pardais por uma moedinha? Contudo, nenhum deles cai no chão sem o consentimento do Pai de vocês. Até os cabelos da cabeça de vocês estão todos contados. Portanto, não tenham medo; vocês valem mais do que muitos pardais!

Deus, como o criador do céu e da terra, tem o direito absoluto e incontestável e plena autoridade para fazer ou permitir o que Ele deseja. Ele não toma decisões aleatórias e instintivas; Ele não espera para ver como as coisas vão acabar – Ele sabe como as coisas vão acabar antes que elas acabem. Deus não tem um plano alternativo para uma emergência. Ele sabe o fim de um assunto. Jó declara que nossos dias na terra são determinados pelo Senhor, que o número de nossos meses está com Deus, que estabeleceu nossos limites, para que não possamos passar. Sua vontade predeterminada anula e substitui nossos melhores planos e nobres intenções. Jesus pergunta:

Mateus 6:27 Quem de vocês, por mais que se preocupe, pode acrescentar uma hora que seja à sua vida?

DEUS MANIFESTA SUA VONTADE ATRAVÉS DA COLABORAÇÃO HUMANA

Deus trabalha em colaboração com as ações humanas para realizar a Sua vontade ou o resultado desejado. Deus não funciona misticamente.

Nossa aceitação da Soberania de Deus não deve nos levar a um lugar onde consideramos as orações desnecessárias. Isso seria um trágico mal-entendido da Soberania de Deus.

Isso é claramente demonstrado na vida do rei Ezequias, que orou a Deus por uma suspensão de sua morte iminente. Deus teve que recomissionar Seu profeta para retornar a Ezequias e informá-lo de que Deus ouviu suas orações e que 15 anos seriam acrescentados à sua vida.

2 Reis 20: 5 “Volte e diga a Ezequias, líder do meu povo: ‘Assim diz o Senhor, Deus de Davi, seu predecessor: Ouvi sua oração e vi suas lágrimas; eu o curarei. Daqui a três dias você subirá ao templo do Senhor.

A visão que o profeta Jeremias teve na casa do oleiro relacionou-se com a vontade de Deus e Sua misericórdia duradoura para “fazer Israel novamente” … para reformar Seu povo … para remover sua condição preexistente – para renovar Seu povo. Este processo para reformar Seu povo é realizado por meio de Sua Palavra. Devemos estar sempre abertos para receber Sua Palavra

Como crentes, devemos saber sempre que estamos nas mãos de um Deus misericordioso. Está bem dentro de nossa capacidade reconhecer nossos erros; todos nós pecamos e fracassamos; somos capazes de nos arrepender e reiniciar; somos capazes de nos realinhar aos Seus propósitos e Sua vontade.

THE DESTRUCTION OF JERUSALEM

2 Kings 25:8-10
8 And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month (which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon), Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem. 9 He burned the house of the LORD and the king’s house; all the houses of Jerusalem, that is, all the houses of the great, he burned with fire. 10 And all the army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the guard broke down the walls of Jerusalem all around.

The destruction of the Temple of Solomon and Jerusalem by the captain of the guard of King Nebuchadnezzar and his men was indeed one of the darkest days in the history of Israel; yet at the same time, thousands of years later, it would prove to be a singular, defining moment in the global advancement of the culture of God’s beloved people, the genesis of the diaspora.

Isaiah prophesied a century before the actual destruction about the invincibility of Jerusalem as the city of God. This city was full of idolatry, worshipping God with their lips, but their hearts were far from God. They were at ease in the midst of prosperity, great wealth, the splendor, beauty, majesty and grandeur of the Temple of Solomon; they totally neglected the prosperity of their souls.

Isaiah 33:20 Look upon Zion, the city of our appointed feasts; Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet home. A tabernacle that will not be taken down; Not one of its stakes will ever be removed,Nor will any of its cords be broken.

Both Micah (Micah 3:12) and Jeremiah prophesied the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple.

Jeremiah 26:2 “Thus says the LORD: ‘Stand in the court of the LORD’s house, and speak to all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’s house, all the words that I command you to speak to them. Do not diminish a word. 3 Perhaps everyone will listen and turn from his evil way, that I may relent concerning the calamity which I purpose to bring on them because of the evil of their doings.’ 4 And you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the LORD: “If you will not listen to Me, to walk in My law which I have set before you, 5 to heed the words of My servants the prophets whom I sent to you, both rising up early and sending them (but you have not heeded), 6 then I will make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.” 7 So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD. 8 Now it happened, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak to all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people seized him, saying, “You will surely die! 9 Why have you prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, ‘This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, without an inhabitant’?” And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD. 10 When the princes of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king’s house to the house of the LORD and sat down in the entry of the New Gate of the LORD’s house. 11 And the priests and the prophets spoke to the princes and all the people, saying, “This man deserves to die! For he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your ears.” 12 Then Jeremiah spoke to all the princes and all the people, saying: “The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city with all the words that you have heard. 13 Now therefore, amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; then the LORD will relent concerning the doom that He has pronounced against you. 14 As for me, here I am, in your hand; do with me as seems good and proper to you. 15 But know for certain that if you put me to death, you will surely bring innocent blood on yourselves, on this city, and on its inhabitants; for truly the LORD has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing.” 16 So the princes and all the people said to the priests and the prophets, “This man does not deserve to die. For he has spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.”

The prophetic voice does not diminish with intimidation. Both Micah (Chapter 4) and Jeremiah prophesy hope to the people of God if they embrace the call of God for a national reformation in the hearts of God’s people. A rending of hearts (internal reconfiguration) rather than an external exhibition of mourning, by the tearing of their garments (Joel 2:13)

The prophet Jeremiah declares this reformation as the solution to the crisis in the city.

Jeremiah 26:13 Now therefore, amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; then the LORD will relent concerning the doom that He has pronounced against you. 14 As for me, here I am, in your hand; do with me as seems good and proper to you.

It is my view that God hardened the hearts of His people. God broke the hedge, and allowed His people to be plundered and debased by their enemies. It is also my view, like I declared at the beginning, that this was the only way God would enlargen the footprint of the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord to fill the whole earth (Habakkuk 2:14). Today Judaism is practiced in the majority of the nations of the world.

Jeremiah surveys the destruction of the beloved city Jerusalem, and he was clearly dismayed at the scale of the devastation.

Lamentations 1:1 How lonely sits the city that was full of people! How like a widow is she, Who was great among the nations! The princess among the provinces Has become a slave! 2 She weeps bitterly in the night, Her tears are on her cheeks; Among all her lovers she has none to comfort her. All her friends have dealt treacherously with her; They have become her enemies. 3 Judah has gone into captivity, Under affliction and hard servitude; She dwells among the nations, She finds no rest; All her persecutors overtake her in dire straits. 4 The roads to Zion mourn Because no one comes to the set feasts. All her gates are desolate; Her priests sigh, Her virgins are afflicted, And she is in bitterness. 5 Her adversaries have become the master, Her enemies prosper; For the LORD has afflicted her because of the multitude of her transgressions. Her children have gone into captivity before the enemy.

This present health pandemic and lockdown has brought home to roost a precious revelation. In the midst of this devastation, with the Temple, the Glory of Israel, in ashes and ruins, God continues to speak to His servants. God demonstrates in a way that is beyond a shadow of doubt that God does not need a building to speak. God does not need an orchestra, singers or musicians to assist Him to declare His Word to His servants. He is Almighty, Sovereign God and He will use His servants as conduits to declare His intents and purposes. God speaks His promises through His prophet regarding the plans to give His beloved people a hope and a future; plans to prosper His people and not to position them in harm’s way.

CHRIST JESUS IS OUR SPIRITUAL HABITAT AND TABERNACLE

Acts 17:28 for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’ 29 Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. 30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

THE BELIEVER IS ALSO THE SPIRITUAL TEMPLE OF GOD

2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.”

THE BODY OF CHRIST IN THE CITY, THE CORPORATE CHURCH, WHERE SONS OF GOD EMERGE AS THE VISIBLE EXPRESSION OF THE NATURE AND IMAGE OF CHRIST

This is a revelation of the New Jerusalem that John had of this city descending from above, from the heart and mind of God. All things are made new.

Revelation 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

Important Note

We do not despise the houses of worship that are built with human hands. Our intention is to reveal the greater, spiritual Temple that the Lord has formed and is presently forming.

A DESTRUIÇÃO DE JERUSALÉM

2 Reis 25: 8 E no quinto mês, no sétimo dia do mês, o qual é o décimo nono ano do rei Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, veio Nebuzaradã, capitão da guarda, um servo do rei de Babilônia, até Jerusalém;  9 e ele queimou a casa do SENHOR, e a casa do rei, e todas as casas de Jerusalém, e a casa de todo homem distinto ele queimou com fogo. 10 E todo o exército dos caldeus, que estava com o capitão da guarda, pôs abaixo os muros ao redor de Jerusalém.

A destruição do Templo de Salomão e Jerusalém pelo capitão da guarda do rei Nabucodonosor e seus homens foi de fato um dos dias mais sombrios da história de Israel; mas, ao mesmo tempo, milhares de anos depois, provaria ser um momento singular e definidor no avanço global da cultura do povo amado de Deus, a gênese da diáspora.

A voz profética não diminui com a intimidação. Tanto Miquéias (Capítulo 4) quanto Jeremias profetizam esperança para o povo de Deus se aceitarem o chamado de Deus para uma reforma nacional nos corações do povo de Deus. Uma dilaceração de corações (reconfiguração interna) ao invés de uma exibição externa de luto, pelo rasgo de suas vestes (Joel 2:13)

O profeta Jeremias declara essa reforma como a solução para a crise na cidade.

É minha opinião que Deus endureceu o coração de Seu povo. Deus quebrou a cerca e permitiu que Seu povo fosse saqueado e aviltado por seus inimigos. também minha opinião, como declarei no início,que esta era a única maneira de Deus alargar a alcance do conhecimento da Glória do Senhor para encher toda a terra (Habacuque 2:14). Hoje o Judaísmo é praticado na maioria das nações do mundo.

Jeremias examina a destruição da amada cidade de Jerusalém e ficou claramente consternado com a escala da devastação.

Lamentações 1:1 Como a cidade assenta-se solitária, aquela que estava repleta de pessoas! Como ela se tornou como uma viúva! Ela que era grande entre as nações, e princesa entre as províncias, como ela tornou-se tributária! 2 Ela chora dolorosamente na noite, e as suas lágrimas estão sobre as suas bochechas; dentre todos os seus amantes, ela não tem nenhum para confortá-la; todos os seus amigos portaram-se traiçoeiramente para com ela; eles tornaram-se seus inimigos. 3 Judá foi para o cativeiro por causa da aflição, e por causa da grande servidão; ela habita entre os pagãos, ela não encontra repouso; todos os seus perseguidores a alcançaram entre as vielas. 4 Os caminhos de Sião pranteiam, porque ninguém comparece às festas solenes; todos os seus portões estão desolados; seus sacerdotes suspiram; suas virgens estão aflitas, e ela está amargurada. 5 Os seus adversários são os chefes, os seus inimigos prosperam; pois o SENHOR a afligiu pela multidão das suas transgressões; os seus filhos foram para o cativeiro perante o inimigo.

Esta atual pandemia de saúde e losckdown trouxe para casa uma revelação preciosa. No meio dessa devastação, com o Templo, a Glória de Israel, em cinzas e ruínas, Deus continua a falar aos Seus servos. Deus demonstra de uma forma que está sem sombra de dúvida que Deus não precisa de um edifício para falar. Deus não precisa de uma orquestra, cantores ou músicos para ajudá-lo a declarar Sua Palavra aos Seus servos. Ele é o Deus Todo-Poderoso e Soberano e usará Seus servos como canais para declarar Suas intenções e propósitos. Deus fala Suas promessas por meio de Seu profeta a respeito dos planos de dar ao Seu amado povo uma esperança e um futuro; planos para prosperar Seu povo e não colocá-los em risco.

CRISTO JESUS É NOSSO HABITAT E TABERNÁCULO ESPIRITUAL

Atos 17:28 porque nele vivemos, e nos movemos, e existimos, como também alguns dos vossos poetas têm dito: Porque também somos sua descendência. 29 Sendo nós, pois, descendência de Deus, não devemos pensar que a divindade seja semelhante ao ouro, ou à prata, ou à pedra, esculpida pela arte e imaginação do homem. 30 Mas Deus, fechou os olhos para os tempos de tal ignorância, e agora ordena a todos os homens, em todo lugar, que se arrependam, 31 porque ele tem determinado um dia em que há de julgar o mundo com justiça, por meio do homem que ele ordenou; e disso deu certeza a todos os homens, ressuscitando-o dos mortos.

O CRENTE TAMBÉM É O TEMPLO ESPIRITUAL DE DEUS

2 Coríntios 6:14 Não estejais unidos em jugo desigual com incrédulos, pois que companheirismo tem a justiça com a injustiça? E que comunhão tem a luz com as trevas? 15 E que harmonia há entre Cristo e Belial? Ou que parte tem o crente com o infiel? 16 E que acordo tem o templo de Deus com os ídolos? Porque vós sois o templo do Deus vivo, como Deus disse: Eu habitarei neles e andarei entre eles; e eu serei o seu Deus, e eles serão o meu povo.

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

The past six months have been challenging for all of us. This pandemic does not discriminate. Our daily routines were affected; the economy, health systems, companies, educational institutions, governments, churches – everything was shaken.

Yet in all of this, there is an unshakeable, immovable God that presides and reigns over the universe.

This biological warfare is unique to this generation and we discern that it is another way that God is testing us.

No one is exempt from this test. It is yet another test in our walk with God. Throughout scripture we see God testing His people in various ways.

Tests act as a catalyst for our spiritual growth.

During this lockdown, we gathered daily for family prayers and communion. We interacted more regularly in our online meetings; we were able to connect with a larger audience. There are many positives that we experienced during this time.

How do we find joy in trials according to the Apostle James? It goes against our human nature. Firstly, we need to reject all fear and maintain a sound mind. We cannot allow our circumstances to overwhelm us. James is not talking about external expressions of celebration during our trials and afflictions, but rather an inner sense of peace, joy and contentment. Daniel was offered the finest cuisine, yet he resolved not to defile himself.

Notice the quiet determination in the words of the three friends of Daniel when they declared :

Daniel 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. 18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

The Apostle Paul had experienced a variety of extreme testings in his apostolic ministry. His words to the Philippians are a source of great encouragement and strength to all.

Philippians 4:11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

The joy of the Lord is our strength. The apostle has flattened the curve concerning the persecutions, afflictions, beatings, imprisonment, and shipwrecks that he had experienced. He resolved to maintain a state of contentment. The ministry of the Lord demands that we are well prepared to carry our cross.

Like James, we must see ourselves as bond servants of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. We need to reflect our servanthood not only to the Divine Father and Son, but we also need to reflect this principle of service in the Father/Son wineskin. The same level of accountability and service to heaven as well as the earth.

A bond servant is owned by his master. The believer is owned by our Master, Christ Jesus. A bond servant is bound to his master.

Right now, we are spiritually positioned with Christ, seated at the right hand of the Father.

This position confers safety and security upon all believers who have made Christ a dwelling place.

Faith is needed especially when nothing is visible.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

We need to be steadfast, resolute and unwavering. Job resisted the suggestion of his wife to curse God and die during his trial. Job was not aware of the confidence that God had in him. The counsel we receive during our trial is extremely important. This counsel must consolidate our relationship with God and His representative. Note the words that Job would use to rebuke his wife who clearly had a low threshold for pain and affliction.

Job 2:10 But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

Job retained a sound mental position.

WE MUST KEEP OUR COMMITMENT AND WORD TO GOD

1 Samuel 1:11 Then she made a vow and said, “O LORD of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.”

Hannah negotiated with God. She did not want the son for her personal sense of empowerment and self gratification; she knew of the existing corruption in the Temple under the priestly leadership of Eli. Hannah wanted a son who would be a blessing to God’s people. Her reward was the birth of Samuel who would become an accurate, outstanding voice of God to His people.

Hannah kept her word to the Lord. This was her personal test. Her son Samuel carried the same characteristic attribute of high integrity in his words.

1 Samuel 3:19 So Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground.

During our trials believers are known to often make vows to the Lord. Believers need to maintain the same integrity in their words and vows to the Lord.

James 5:12 But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.

Moses addresses the leadership of Israel concerning integrity in our vows and promises to the Lord.

Numbers 30:1 Then Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which the LORD has commanded: 2 If a man makes a vow to the LORD, or swears an oath to bind himself by some agreement, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth. 3 “Or if a woman makes a vow to the LORD, and binds herself by some agreement while in her father’s house in her youth, 4 and her father hears her vow and the agreement by which she has bound herself, and her father holds his peace, then all her vows shall stand, and every agreement with which she has bound herself shall stand.

When we receive our deliverance, do not forget the Lord who has helped us. All things come from Him.

HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD

Eli mentored Samuel to recognize and hear the voice of God. During trials we need a Word from God – that still, small voice. We need to be guided and instructed by our spiritual father. Samuel needed Eli in his spiritual development. Do not despise your Eli.

We must also develop our relationship with the Holy Spirit.

John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

The most consistent way that God would speak to His people is through His Word spoken by His servants.

Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

Tiago 1: 2 Meus irmãos, tende grande alegria quando cairdes em várias provações, 3 sabendo que a prova da vossa fé produz paciência. 4 Mas tenha a paciência o seu trabalho perfeito, para que sejais perfeitos e completos, nada faltando.

 

Os últimos seis meses foram desafiadores para todos nós. Esta pandemia não discrimina. Nossas rotinas diárias foram afetadas; a economia, sistemas de saúde, empresas, instituições educacionais, governos, igrejas – tudo foi abalado.

 

No entanto, em tudo isso, existe um Deus inabalável e imóvel que preside e reina sobre o universo.

 

Esta guerra biológica é exclusiva desta geração e discernimos que é uma outra maneira pela qual Deus está nos testando.

 

Ninguém está isento deste teste. É mais um teste em nossa caminhada com Deus. Ao longo das escrituras, vemos Deus testando Seu povo de várias maneiras.

 

Os testes atuam como um catalisador para nosso crescimento espiritual.

 

Durante esse bloqueio, nos reunimos diariamente para orações familiares e comunhão. Interagimos mais regularmente em nossas reuniões online; conseguimos nos conectar com um público maior. Há muitos aspectos positivos que experimentamos durante esse tempo.

 

Como encontramos alegria nas provações, de acordo com o apóstolo Tiago? Isso vai contra nossa natureza humana. Em primeiro lugar, precisamos rejeitar todo medo e manter uma mente sã. Não podemos permitir que nossas circunstâncias nos dominem. James não está falando sobre expressões externas de celebração durante nossas provações e aflições, mas sim uma sensação interior de paz, alegria e contentamento. Daniel recebeu a melhor comida, mas decidiu não se contaminar.

 

Observe a determinação silenciosa nas palavras dos três amigos de Daniel quando eles declararam:

 

Daniel 3: 16-18

16 Responderam Sadraque, Mesaque e Abed-Nego e disseram ao rei: “Ó Nabucodonosor, não precisamos de te responder sobre este assunto. 17 Se for esse o caso, o nosso Deus, a quem servimos, pode nos livrar da fornalha de fogo ardente, e nos livrará das tuas mãos, ó rei. 18 Mas, se não, fica sabendo, ó rei, que não servimos a teus deuses, nem adoraremos a estátua de ouro que erigiste. ”

 

O apóstolo Paulo experimentou uma variedade de testes extremos em seu ministério apostólico. Suas palavras aos filipenses são fonte de grande encorajamento e força para todos.

 

Filipenses 4

11 Não que fale a respeito da necessidade, porque aprendi em qualquer estado em que estou, a estar contente. 12 Eu sei ser humilhado e sei ter abundância. Em todos os lugares e em todas as coisas, aprendi a estar farto e a ter fome, a ter abundância e a sofrer necessidades. 13 Posso todas as coisas em Cristo que me fortalece.

 

A alegria do Senhor é a nossa força. O apóstolo achatou a curva com relação às perseguições, aflições, espancamentos, prisões e naufrágios que ele experimentou. Ele decidiu manter um estado de contentamento. O ministério do Senhor exige que estejamos bem preparados para carregar nossa cruz.

 

Como Tiago, devemos nos ver como servos servos de Deus e do Senhor Jesus Cristo. Precisamos refletir nossa servidão não apenas ao Pai e Filho Divinos, mas também precisamos refletir este princípio de serviço no odre Pai / Filho. O mesmo nível de responsabilidade e serviço ao céu e à terra.

 

Um servo escravo é propriedade de seu mestre. O crente é propriedade de nosso Mestre, Cristo Jesus. Um servo escravo está ligado a seu mestre.

Hebreus 11

1 Ora, a fé é o firme fundamento das coisas que se esperam e a prova das coisas que não se veem.

 

Precisamos ser firmes, resolutos e inabaláveis. Jó resistiu à sugestão de sua esposa de amaldiçoar a Deus e morrer durante seu julgamento. Jó não estava ciente da confiança que Deus tinha nele. O conselho que recebemos durante nosso julgamento é extremamente importante. Esse conselho deve consolidar nosso relacionamento com Deus e Seu representante. Observe as palavras que Jó usaria para repreender sua esposa, que claramente tinha pouca dor e aflição.

 

Jó 2

10 Mas ele lhe disse: “Como fala qualquer louca, falas tu. Devemos realmente aceitar o bem de Deus e não devemos aceitar a adversidade? ” Em tudo isso, Jó não pecou com os lábios.

 

 

DEVEMOS MANTER NOSSO COMPROMISSO E PALAVRA PARA DEUS

 

1 Samuel 1

11 Então ela fez um voto e disse: “Ó Senhor dos exércitos, se realmente olhares para a aflição da tua serva e te lembrar de mim, e não te esqueceres da tua serva, mas dares um filho à tua serva, então eu lhe darei ao Senhor todos os dias da sua vida, e nenhuma navalha virá sobre a sua cabeça. ”

 

Ana negociou com Deus. Ela não queria o filho para seu senso pessoal de empoderamento e autogratificação; ela sabia da corrupção existente no Templo sob a liderança sacerdotal de Eli. Ana queria um filho que fosse uma bênção para o povo de Deus. Sua recompensa foi o nascimento de Samuel, que se tornaria uma voz precisa e notável de Deus para Seu povo.

 

Ana manteve sua palavra ao Senhor. Este foi seu teste pessoal. Seu filho Samuel carregava o mesmo atributo característico de alta integridade em suas palavras.

 

1 Samuel 3

19 Samuel crescia, e o Senhor era com ele e não deixou nenhuma de todas as suas palavras cair em terra.

 

Durante nossas provações, os crentes costumam fazer votos ao Senhor. Os crentes precisam manter a mesma integridade em suas palavras e votos ao Senhor.

 

Tiago 5

12 Mas sobretudo, meus irmãos, não jureis, nem pelo céu, nem pela terra, nem por qualquer outro juramento. Mas deixe seu “Sim” ser “Sim” e seu “Não”, “Não”, para que você não caia no julgamento.

 

Moisés fala à liderança de Israel com relação à integridade em nossos votos e promessas ao Senhor.

 

Números 30

1 Moisés falou aos chefes das tribos a respeito dos filhos de Israel, dizendo: “Esta é a coisa que o Senhor ordenou: 2 Se alguém fizer voto ao Senhor, ou jurar se comprometer por algum acordo, ele não quebrará sua palavra; ele fará de acordo com tudo o que sai de sua boca. 3 “Ou se uma mulher fizer um voto ao SENHOR e se comprometer por algum acordo enquanto estiver na casa de seu pai, em sua juventude, 4 e seu pai ouvir o voto dela e o acordo pelo qual ela se comprometeu, e seu pai cumprirá o seu paz, então todos os seus votos permanecerão, e todo acordo com o qual ela se comprometeu permanecerá.

 

Quando recebermos nossa libertação, não se esqueça do Senhor que nos ajudou. Todas as coisas vêm Dele.

 

OUVINDO A VOZ DE DEUS

 

Eli orientou Samuel a reconhecer e ouvir a voz de Deus. Durante as provações, precisamos da Palavra de Deus – aquela voz mansa e delicada. Precisamos ser guiados e instruídos por nosso pai espiritual. Samuel precisava de Eli em seu desenvolvimento espiritual. Não despreze o seu Eli.

 

Devemos também desenvolver nosso relacionamento com o Espírito Santo.

 

João 16

13 No entanto, quando o Espírito da verdade vier, Ele os guiará em toda a verdade; pois Ele não falará por sua própria autoridade, mas tudo o que ouve, falará; e Ele lhe dirá o que está por vir. 14 Ele me glorificará, porque tomará do que é meu e vo-lo anunciará.

 

A maneira mais consistente de Deus falar ao Seu povo é por meio da Palavra falada por Seus servos.

 

Romanos 10

14 Como então invocarão aquele em quem não creram? E como acreditarão naquele de quem não ouviram? E como eles saberiam se ninguém contou?
