CCF International Church

There is a global quest for peace in a troubled world. Paul writes to the Romans about the great difficulty in 

Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.

In his letter to the Romans, Paul expresses his desire that they live peacefully with all men; however, he makes two preceding, cautionary statements …..

“If it is possible”

He infers that peace is not always possible. Paul is writing to a community of believers who are being seriously persecuted for their faith by both the Greeks and the Jews. 

“as much as depends on you”

Peace is not the result of a unilateral initiative. It demands bilateral and multilateral proactive conversations around the centrality of the Word of the Lord. As believers we must ensure that we are fully invested in the process.

Jesus instructs His disciples, warning them that peace must be reciprocated. Once again, peace is not the result of a unilateral initiative.

Matthew 10:12 And when you go into a household, greet it. 13 If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.

David met with the sons of Benjamin and Judah

1 Chronicles 12:17 And David went out to meet them, and answered and said to them, “If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look and bring judgment.”

David also emphasises the “principle of reciprocity” in the spiritual impartation and transactions of peace. “Peace is not the result of a unilateral initiative”

2 Kings 9:22 Now it happened, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, “Is it peace, Jehu?”

So he answered, “What peace, as long as the harlotries of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft are so many?”

Joram, the son of Jezebel asks Jehu if he has come in peace. Jehu replies that whilst the endemic culture of harlotry and witchcraft of his mother Jezebel prevails, there can be no peace. Jesus would say “Love does not rejoice in evil”

“Peace is not the result of a unilateral initiative”

In 2024 I presented to you my perspective on the two realms that all believers function from; heaven and earth and the resultant tension that we have to embrace; we will submit to the laws of the land as long as it does not violate the Word of the Lord which determines the principles for governance and leadership of the Church.

Well it has now arrived on our doorstep and we have to respond to it. We have  been drawn out of our areas of safety and comfort in the spiritual realm by the continually evolving dynamics and the clamouring of voices from the ground.

Conflict and tension are unavoidable within an authentic apostolic/prophetic culture. We must embrace this reality and demonstrate bold and courageous leadership by remaining unconflicted in our faith in the Lord and His Word.

We need great grace from the Lord to declare difficult truths in environments that are hostile to the culture of the people of God

We see it throughout scripture, where the Lord raises His servants who demonstrated extraordinary courage to challenge systems and principalities that are hostile to God

Elijah did not avoid the conflict on Mount Carmel; he asked the people to choose between God and Baal, not between him and the Ahab/Jezebel administration.

We may find ourselves in a similar situation in this present day. By choosing God, we not only choose Him but everyone and everything that is aligned to Him. This is a demonstration of unconflicted faith during times of great conflict and perils.

We see the same with Peter and the apostles in Jerusalem. They did not avoid the conflict with the ruling council of religious leaders who demanded they stop preaching in the name of Jesus. The apostles were very clear and unapologetic in their defense. They knew the dire consequences of their dissent against the ruling regime

Yet they demonstrated great courage and conviction in stating their position …..

Acts 5:29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.

After they were eyewitnesses of the Divine Visitation of the Lord  in the prison, their faith remained even stronger than before, undiminished and unconflicted in the One they worshipped and adored.

The religious council of leaders in Jerusalem will label the words of the apostles as “brazen rebellion” against the   authority of the day.

The reality was that the Council and the priesthood in Jerusalem wanted exclusive rights for all the religious activities in the city; they wanted to control what was being taught and preached in the city; they were prepared to incarcerate those who dared to challenge their narrative. This is called CENSORSHIP

In this season, we need to apply the wisdom of Gamaleil in this present day who declared ….

Acts 5:38 And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; 39 but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God.”

The faith of the apostles remained strong and unconflicted in their faith in the Lord in the face of grave intimidation. Before they were set free, they were beaten and reprimanded and banned from speaking in the name of Jesus.

Acts 5:40 And they agreed with him, and when they had called for the apostles and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. 41 So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. 42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.

Paul continued to preach Jesus; he was thrown out of the Temple and the doors of the Temple were shut.

Acts 21:30 And all the city was disturbed; and the people ran together, seized Paul, and dragged him out of the temple; and immediately the doors were shut.

Now let us return to the situation on the ground.

SUPPRESSION OF INFORMATION, MORE SPECIFICALLY THE WORD OF THE LORD

During the days of Elijah, we know that 100 prophets were hidden in caves. We see this as God protecting the lives of His servants. However, this may be interpreted as civil disobedience by the administration of Ahab/Jezebel. In many nations, freedom of religion does not exist. We should keep the wisdom of Gamaleil in mind when we respond to external threats and laws like we are experiencing in this  present day

Presently, there is great resistance from the Church regarding the State attempting to regulate the Church

The statement issued by the church defenders ………. “The South African Church was never collectively consulted, mandated, or authorised to establish a national self-regulatory framework under the auspices of the CRL Rights Commission”

Here is the gaslight that has been set off ………..

“The church does not want to be controlled – it wants to function without submission to peers”

Believers must not be unnecessarily intimidated by these remarks that greatly undermine the integrity of the Church. Herod the great, the ruler of Judea could not suppress and kill Jesus while He was a  newborn baby.  We must be careful that our faith remains unconflicted and resolute in the Lord. 

For those of us who are familiar with essential, non negotiable principles of corporate governance, we will recognise the statement made by the defenders of the faith as a MASSIVE STATEMENT concerning the protocols to engage the Lord’s Church

The church defenders are drawing the line in the sand. They are establishing a clear boundary by stating the protocols for engagement; a non negotiable standard for communication; a high benchmark for behaviour and performance in an environment that despises the non negotiable reality that the church is built on the Rock, Christ Jesus and His Word.

They are simply declaring elementary principles in corporate governance and leadership; that a desired corporate outcome demands corporate Consultation

They are inferring that the church will not be bullied into accepting and embracing unilateral decisions that are designed to oppress the church and keep it as a vassal and subservient to an external regime. We are saying that the reason we have a gridlock is that the external regime has despised the need to consult with the church

Consultation is necessary to build trust and transparency. It improves the quality of decisions. Dissent against these expressions of injustice, oppression and bullying is at the heart of an authentic apostolic/prophetic culture

There is no option for us; there is no choice. The friends of Daniel were not conflicted in their response

Daniel 3:16-18
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. 18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

What these men are saying is that this is not something where they have a choice.They are internally configured to obey God, even if the natural heat in the furnace is turned up ten times, this is no comparison to the “effulgence”, to the radiance and the brightness of the One appearing in the form of the fourth man in the fire

Effulgence becomes visible when we demonstrate the courage, boldness and the audacity of our internal convictions in our unconflicted faith in the Lord.

The fourth man is in the form of the Son of God. He appears as a man. This is a great example of the representation of Christ. As sons of God, we are called to demonstrate His nature during challenging circumstances. We are carriers of His Presence which is able to protect those whose lives are being endangered by the flames. 

The response of the friends of Daniel may be considered by the administration of Nebuchadnezzar as blatant rebellion against the highest authority in the land, it may be considered as foolish, lacking wisdom, but the internal spiritual configuration of these men gives them zero option. They are sons of God.

If we thought that the demand of the defenders of the faith concerning the need for consultation was unbiblical, observe carefully how the Sovereign Lord Himself, engages His own Church.

The ascended Christ Jesus commissions John to send a written document to the seven churches in the cities in Asia Minor.

John was instructed to write the things that he had seen.

Revelation 1:9 I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, 11 saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

Christ called John who was in the Spirit. He was in exile on the Island of Patmos. 

Being in the Spirit is being in an elevated state under the influence and leading of the Holy Spirit; by the grace of the Lord he accessed the realm of spiritual enlightenment so that he could see the spiritual condition of the churches in Asia.

This is Christ Jesus engaging His own church through written communication; He stands outside and knocks at the door of His own Church, waiting expectantly and hopefully to be invited inside. This is the level of honour and reverence Christ gives to the leadership and believers in His own church with all its flaws; although the people inside were wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked ….. yet Jesus would respect His church by knocking on its front door. He sends His church a letter that reveals His concerns. 

Leaders of the seven churches need to be careful that they focus on the letter sent to their church. They need to be totally focussed on the weaknesses that the Lord had identified and not be distracted by minding the business of his brother.

A HYPOTHETICAL SCENARIO

For example the bishop in Ephesus uses the resident gift of discernment to speak negatively about the church in Pergamos; talking about the false prophets and apostles; saying that the throne of satan is in Pergamos, that the teachers there are teaching the doctrine of Balaam and the doctrine of the Nicolaitans 

The bishop of Pergamos hears about this and retaliates because he also received his letter written in a book of letters; he would turn around and say to the Ephesians that they have no faith in the Lord; that they have lost their first love; that the Lord is going to remove the lampstand in Ephesus 

This is the great conflict and tension that we have in this present day

Another scenario unfolds where the Bishop in  Smyrna speaks negatively about the practices in the church at Thyatira. He says Jezebel is the prophetess in Smyrna and she is teaching the doctrine of demons; she is teaching and seducing the servants of the Lord to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.

The bishop in Thyatira retaliates by saying that Smyrna has Jews who constitute the synagogue of satan. 

The reality is that unless we have a helicopter  view of the corporate church in Asia Minor just like John did our sight and perspective will be limited and prejudiced 

It would be a great practical exercise to study ministeries whose teachings focus almost exclusively on the love of the Lord. We may discover that these ministries have their roots in trauma endured through affliction from religious extremists.

What is the solution? 

CONFLICT IS INEVITABLE 

Every church is dealing with its own challenges. Every church has received its own letter from the Lord. This season demands great grace. May our eyes be enlightened to see like John did in the Spirit. May our faith in Him who sent the letter be unconflicted even during times of great conflict. Grace and peace 🙏🙏

“Se for possível”

Ele insinua que a paz nem sempre é possível. Paulo está escrevendo para uma comunidade de crentes que estão sendo seriamente perseguidos por sua fé tanto pelos gregos quanto pelos judeus.

“Tanto o quanto depender de você”

A paz não é resultado de uma iniciativa unilateral. Exige conversas bilaterais e multilaterais proativas sobre a centralidade da Palavra do Senhor. Como crentes, devemos garantir que estamos totalmente envolvidos no processo.

Jesus instrui Seus discípulos, alertando-os de que a paz deve ser recíproca. Mais uma vez, a paz não é resultado de uma iniciativa unilateral.

Mateus 10:12 E quando você entrar em uma casa, cumprimente-a. 13 Se a casa for digna, que sua paz venha sobre ela. Mas se não for digno, que sua paz volte para você.

Davi encontrou-se com os filhos de Benjamim e Judá

1 Crônicas 12:17 E Davi saiu para encontrá-los, e respondeu: “Se vieram pacificamente até mim para me ajudar, meu coração estará unido a vós; mas se me trair para meus inimigos, já que não há mal nas minhas mãos, que o Deus de nossos antepassados olhe e traga julgamento.”

David também enfatiza o “princípio da reciprocidade” na imposição espiritual e nas transações de paz. “A paz não é resultado de uma iniciativa unilateral”

2 Reis 9:22 Agora aconteceu, quando Joram viu Jeu, que ele disse: “É paz, Jeu?” Então ele respondeu: “Que paz, enquanto as prostituições de sua mãe Jezabel e sua bruxaria forem tantas assim?”

Jorão, filho de Jezabel, pergunta a Jeú se ele veio em paz. Jeúresponde que, embora prevaleça a cultura endêmica de prostituição e bruxaria de sua mãe Jezabel, não pode haver paz. Jesus diria: “O amor não se alegra no mal”

“A paz não é resultado de uma iniciativa unilateral”

Em 2024, apresentei a você minha perspectiva sobre os dois reinos dos quais todos os crentes atuam; céu e terra e a tensão resultante que temos que abraçar; nos submeteremos às leis do país desde que isso não viole a Palavra do Senhor, que determina os princípios para o governo e a liderança da Igreja.

EMBRACE THE TENSION/ ABRACE A TENSÃO

Pois agora chegou à nossa porta e temos que responder. Fomos tirados de nossas áreas de segurança e conforto no reino espiritual pelas dinâmicas em constante evolução e pelo clamor de vozes vindas do chão.

Conflito e tensão são inevitáveis dentro de uma cultura apostólica/profética autêntica. Devemos abraçar essa realidade e demonstrar liderança ousada e corajosa, permanecendo intransigenteem nossa fé no Senhor e em Sua Palavra.

Precisamos de grande graça do Senhor para declarar verdades difíceis em ambientes hostis à cultura do povo de Deus.

Vemos isso ao longo das escrituras, onde o Senhor levanta Seus servos que demonstraram coragem extraordinária para desafiar sistemas e principados hostis a Deus

Elias não evitou o conflito no Monte Carmelo; ele pediu ao povo que escolhesse entre Deus e Baal, e não entre ele e a administração de Acabe/Jezabel.

Podemos nos encontrar em uma situação semelhante nos dias atuais. Ao escolher Deus, não escolhemos apenas Ele, mas todos e tudo que está alinhado a Ele. Isso é uma demonstração de fé sem conflitos em tempos de grande conflito e perigos.

Vemos o mesmo com Pedro e os apóstolos em Jerusalém. Eles não evitaram o conflito com o conselho governante de líderes religiosos, que exigiam que parassem de pregar em nome de Jesus. Os apóstolos foram muito claros e sem pedir desculpas em sua defesa. Eles conheciam as graves consequências de sua dissidência contra o regime governante

Ainda assim, demonstraram grande coragem e convicção ao expor sua posição …..

Atos 5:29 Mas Pedro e os outros apóstolos responderam e disseram: “Devemos obedecer a Deus em vez dos homens.

Depois de serem testemunhas oculares da Visita Divina do Senhor na prisão, sua fé permaneceu ainda mais forte do que antes, inalterada e sem conflitos naquele que adoravam e adoravam.

O conselho religioso dos líderes em Jerusalém rotulará as palavras dos apóstolos como “rebelião ousada” contra a autoridade do momento.

A realidade era que o Concílio e o sacerdócio em Jerusalém queriam direitos exclusivos para todas as atividades religiosas na cidade; Eles queriam controlar o que era ensinado e pregado na cidade; Eles estavam preparados para prender aqueles que ousassem desafiar sua narrativa. Isso é chamado de CENSURA.

Nesta temporada, precisamos aplicar a sabedoria de Gamaliel neste presente, que declarou:

Atos 5:38 E agora vos digo: afastem-se desses homens e deixem-nos em paz; pois se este plano ou esta obra for de homens, não dará em nada; 39 mas se for de Deus, não pode derrubá-lo — para que não seja encontrado para lutar contra Deus.”

A fé dos apóstolos permaneceu forte e sem conflitos em sua fé no Senhor diante de graves intimidações. Antes de serem libertados, foram espancados, repreendidos e proibidos de falar em nome de Jesus.

Atos 5:40 E eles concordaram com ele, e quando chamaram os apóstolos e os espancaram, ordenaram que não falassem em nome de Jesus e os deixaram ir. 41 Assim, eles se afastaram da presença do concílio, alegrando-se por serem considerados dignos de sofrer vergonha por Seu nome. 42 E diariamente, no templo e em cada casa, eles não deixaram de ensinar e pregar Jesus como Cristo.

Paulo continuou a pregar Jesus; ele foi expulso do Templo e as portas do Templo foram fechadas.

Atos 21:30 E toda a cidade ficou perturbada; e o povo correu junto, agarrou Paulo e o arrastou para fora do templo; e imediatamente as portas se fecharam.

 

Agora vamos voltar à situação no terreno.

SUPRESSÃO DE INFORMAÇÕES, MAIS ESPECIFICAMENTE DA PALAVRA DO SENHOR

Durante os dias de Elias, sabemos que 100 profetas estavam escondidos em cavernas. Vemos isso como Deus protegendo a vida de Seus servos. No entanto, isso pode ser interpretado como desobediência civil pela administração de Ahab/Jezabel. Em muitasnações, a liberdade religiosa não existe. Devemos manter a sabedoria do Gamaliel em mente ao respondermos a ameaças e leis externas como estamos vivenciando hoje

Atualmente, há grande resistência da Igreja em relação ao Estado que tenta regular a Igreja

A declaração emitida pelos defensores da igreja ………. “A Igreja Sul-Africana nunca foi consultada, mandatada ou autorizada coletivamente a estabelecer um arcabouço nacional autor regulatóriosob os auspícios da Comissão de Direitos da CRL”

Aqui está a forma manipuladora que foi acionada ………..

“A igreja não quer ser controlada – ela quer funcionar sem submissão aos pares”

Os crentes não devem se intimidar desnecessariamente com essas observações que minam profundamente a integridade da Igreja. Herodes, o grande, governante da Judeia, não pôde suprimir e matar Jesus enquanto ele ainda era um bebê recém-nascido. Devemos ter cuidado para que nossa fé permaneça sem conflitos e resoluta no Senhor.

Para aqueles de nós que estão familiarizados com princípios essenciais e inegociáveis da governança corporativa, reconheceremos a declaração feita pelos defensores da fé como uma DECLARAÇÃO MASSIVA sobre os protocolos para engajar a Igreja do Senhor

Os defensores da igreja estão traçando uma linha na areia. Eles estão estabelecendo uma fronteira clara ao estabelecer os protocolos para o engajamento; um padrão inegociável para comunicação; um alto padrão de comportamento e desempenho em um ambiente que despreza a realidade inegociável de que a igreja foi construída sobre a Rocha, Cristo Jesus e Sua Palavra.

Eles estão simplesmente declarando princípios elementares em governança corporativa e liderança; que um resultado corporativo desejado exige Consulta corporativa

Eles estão insinuando que a igreja não será pressionada a aceitar e abraçar decisões unilaterais que visam oprimir a igreja e mantê-la como vassala e subserviente a um regime externo. Estamos dizendo que o motivo do impasse é que o regime externo despreza a necessidade de consultar a igreja

A consulta é necessária para construir confiança e transparência. Isso melhora a qualidade das decisões. A dissidência contra essas expressões de injustiça, opressão e intimidação está no cerne de uma cultura apostólica/profética autêntica

Não há opção para nós; Não há escolha. Os amigos de Daniel não ficaram divididos em sua resposta.

Daniel 3:16-18  16 Sadraque, Mesaque e Abed-Nego responderam e disseram ao rei: “Ó Nabucodonosor, não precisamos responder a você sobre este caso. 17 Se for esse o caso, nosso Deus a quem servimos poderá nos livrar da fornalha ardente, e Ele nos livrará de Tua mão, ó rei. 18 Mas se não, que saiba a ti, ó rei, que não servimos aos teus deuses, nem adoraremos a imagem dourada que ergueu.”

O que esses homens estão dizendo é que isso não é algo em que eles tenham escolha. Eles estão internamente configurados para obedecer a Deus, mesmo que o calor natural do forno seja aumentado dez vezes, isso não é comparado ao “resplendo”, e ao brilho do Um que aparece na forma do quarto homem no fogo

O brilho se torna visível quando demonstramos coragem, ousadia e audácia de nossas convicções internas em nossa fé incondicional no Senhor.

O quarto homem está na forma do Filho de Deus. Ele aparece como um homem. Este é um ótimo exemplo da representação de Cristo. Como filhos de Deus, somos chamados a demonstrar Sua natureza em circunstâncias desafiadoras. Somos portadores de Sua Presença, que é capaz de proteger aqueles cujas vidas estão sendo ameaçadas pelas chamas.

A resposta dos amigos de Daniel pode ser considerada pela administração de Nabucodonosor como uma rebelião flagrante contra a mais alta autoridade do país, pode ser considerada tola ou sem sabedoria, mas a configuração espiritual interna desses homens não lhes dá opção. Eles são filhos de Deus.

Se pensássemos que a exigência dos defensores da fé quanto à necessidade de consulta era ante bíblica, observe atentamente como o próprio Senhor Soberano engaja Sua própria Igreja.

O Cristo Jesus ascendido encarrega João de enviar um documento escrito às sete igrejas das cidades da Ásia Menor.

John foi instruído a escrever as coisas que tinha visto.

Apocalipse 1:9 Eu, João, tanto seu irmão quanto seu companheiro na tribulação, no reino e na paciência de Jesus Cristo, estava na ilha chamada Patmos pela palavra de Deus e pelo testemunho de Jesus Cristo. 10 Eu estava no Espírito no Dia do Senhor, e ouvi atrás de mim uma voz alta, como uma trombeta, 11 dizendo: “Eu sou o Alfa e o Ômega, o Primeiro e o Último,” e, “O que vês, escreva em um livro e envie às sete igrejas que estão na Ásia: para Éfeso, para Esmirna, para Pérgamo, para Tiatira, para Sardes, para Filadélfia e para Laodiceia.”

Cristo chamou João que estava no Espírito. Ele estava exilado na Ilha de Patmos.

Estar no Espírito é estar em um estado elevado sob a influência e a liderança do Espírito Santo; pela graça do Senhor, ele acedeu ao reino da iluminação espiritual para poder ver a condição espiritual das igrejas na Ásia.

Este é Cristo Jesus engajando Sua própria igreja por meio da comunicação escrita; Ele fica do lado de fora e bate na porta de Sua própria Igreja, esperando ansiosamente e esperançosamente ser convidado a entrar. Esse é o nível de honra e reverência que Cristo dá à liderança e aos crentes em Sua própria igreja, com todas as suas falhas; embora as pessoas lá dentro fossem miseráveis, miseráveis, pobres, cegas e nuas ….. ainda assim, Jesus respeitaria Sua igreja batendo à porta da frente. Ele envia à Sua igreja uma carta que revela suas preocupações.

Os líderes das sete igrejas precisam ter cuidado para focar na carta enviada à sua igreja. Eles precisam estar totalmente focados nas fraquezas que o Senhor identificou e não se distrair cuidando dos assuntos do irmão.

UM CENÁRIO HIPOTÉTICO

Por exemplo, o bispo em Éfeso usa o dom residente do discernimento para falar negativamente sobre a igreja em Pérgamo; falando sobre os falsos profetas e apóstolos; dizendo que o trono de Satanás está em Pérgamo, que os mestres lá ensinam a doutrina de Balaão e a doutrina dos Nicolaítas.

O bispo de Pérgamos fica sabendo disso e retalia porque também recebeu sua carta escrita em um livro de cartas; ele se viraria e dizia aos efésios que eles não tinham fé no Senhor; que perderam seu primeiro amor; que o Senhor vai remover o candelabro em Éfeso

Esse é o grande conflito e tensão que temos nos dias atuais

Outro cenário se desenrola, onde o Bispo em Esmirna fala negativamente sobre as práticas na igreja em Tiatira. Ele diz que Jezabel é a profetisa em Esmirna e que ela está ensinando a doutrina dos demônios; ela está ensinando e seduzindo os servos do Senhor a cometer imoralidade sexual e comer coisas sacrificadas aos ídolos.

O bispo em Tiatira reage dizendo que Esmirna tem judeus que constituem a sinagoga de Satanás.

A realidade é que, a menos que tenhamos uma visão de helicóptero da igreja corporativa na Ásia Menor, assim como João teve, nossa visão e perspectiva serão limitadas e preconceituosas

Seria um grande exercício prático estudar ministérios cujos ensinamentos focam quase exclusivamente no amor do Senhor. Podemos descobrir que esses ministérios têm suas raízes em traumas suportados por aflições de extremistas religiosos.

Cada igreja está lidando com seus próprios desafios. Cada igreja recebeu sua própria carta do Senhor. Esta temporada exige grande graça. Que nossos olhos sejam iluminados para ver como João via no Espírito. Que nossa fé naquele que enviou a carta seja sem conflitos, mesmo em tempos de grande conflito. Graça e paz.

PERSPECTIVA DO APÓSTOLO PEDRO AMÂNCIO

A VERDADE ESTÁ NA PALAVRA DE DEUS.

A Verdade Está Centrada Na Bíblia – A Palavra de Deus é a Central da fé Cristã.

A Verdade da Palavra de Deus, é muito mais que fatos históricos ou regras morais. Ela revela verdades que a humanidade não poderia descobrir por si só. A Bíblia nos mostra quem é Deus, qual a nossa condição incluindo o problema do pecado e o plano de redenção através de Jesus Cristo.

A Bíblia tem a Palavra Suprema de uma pessoa que disse – Eu sou o Caminho, a Verdade e a Vida. João 14:6. Eu sou o caminho, e a verdade, e a vida; ninguém vem ao Pai senão por mim. Jesus Cristo disse isso.

A Bíblia aponta para Ele, testemunha sobre Ele e O revela. A Verdade não é apenas um conjunto de ideias, mas um relacionamento com uma pessoa Divina.

A Palavra de Deus é considerada o fundamento firme e imutável num mundo com diversas opiniões. A palavra de Deus não é apenas verdadeira para o mundo mas Verdadeira em si mesma.

Salmos 119:160. As tuas palavras são em tudo verdade desde o princípio,

e cada um dos teus justos juízos dura para sempre.

A Verdade é a essência da Palavra de Deus. A estrutura do universo é formada pela Verdade da Palavra de Deus. Ela é o agente da criação, a Verdade da Palavra sustenta o universo.

A Verdade da Palavra não é para ser apenas conhecida intelectualmente, mas para ser vivida. Ela tem o poder de julgar pensamentos, corrigir rotas e transformar caráter. 

Hebreus 4:12. A palavra de Deus é viva e eficaz, e mais afiada que qualquer espada de dois gumes; ela penetra ao ponto de dividir alma e espírito, juntas e medulas, e julga os pensamentos e intenções do coração.

Isso significa que a Verdade da Palavra tem a capacidade de falar aos nossos corações em qualquer tempo e circunstância. Ela é dinâmica, ativa para realizar o propósito para o qual foi enviada para transformar, convencer, corrigir e edificar a todos na vontade de Deus.

 A Palavra de Deus tem um poder de penetração e discernimento que nenhum instrumento humano possui. Ela atinge até as profundezas do ser, ideia é que a Palavra atinge o âmago, o mais íntimo, o núcleo da nossa existência. Ela expõe as motivações, os desejos e pensamentos secretos.

Quando lemos ou ouvimos a Palavra de Deus, não estamos apenas recebendo informação, mas nos colocando sob a ação poderosa e penetrante do próprio Deus, que nos conhece completamente e nos transforma a partir do interior.

Nada está oculto aos olhos de Deus. Tudo está descoberto e exposto diante dos Olhos que vê tudo.

Para os crentes, ela é a autoridade final em questões de fé, prática, moral e propósito. É o nosso manual para viver a vida verdadeira e dar testemunho da Verdade de Jesus Cristo.

Entenda que a Bíblia é a Verdade de Deus, ela mostra atitudes e consequências concretas. Através dela se sabe sobre Deus, a criação, a salvação, o céu e o inferno. Ela é a fonte confiável, sem ela, a fé seria baseada apenas em sentimentos ou filosofias humanas.

A Verdade da Bíblia é o guia da conduta moral absoluta da ética. Vivemos num mundo com valores em constante mudança, a Verdade da Palavra oferece parâmetros claros para o certo e o errado, para a justiça, o amor e a santidade.

Pela Verdade da Palavra sabemos quem somos, ela conta a nossa origem, nossa criação como à imagem de Deus, o problema da queda no pecado, o valor da redenção por Jesus Cristo e o destino da vida eterna.

Mateus 24:35. Passará o céu e a terra, porém as minhas palavras não passarão.

A Palavra da Verdade nos ajuda a avaliar as ideologias e as tendências culturais do mundo, a Verdade traz à luz em todas às perspectiva, ela funciona como um filtro e como uma lente para nos ajudar a interpretar o mundo.

A Verdade da Palavra de Deus é a auto revelação confiável, objetiva e transformadora do próprio Deus, centrada em Jesus Cristo. Ela é o fundamento da fé com o poder de trazer luz às trevas, direção à confusão e vida onde há morte espiritual.

É FUNDAMENTAL  ANDAR NA VERDADE.

Entenda que para se andar na Verdade, antes é preciso a Verdade, existe o Caminho da Verdade. No ponto acima te mostramos a origem e a natureza da Verdade.

Salmos 86:11. Ensina-me, SENHOR, o teu caminho, e andarei na tua Verdade; une o meu coração ao temor do Teu Nome.

João 14:6. Respondeu Jesus – Eu sou o caminho, a verdade e a vida. Ninguém vem ao Pai, a não ser por mim.

Lembre-se que andar na Verdade não é seguir uma filosofia, mas um relacionamento com Jesus Cristo. Toda busca pela Verdade começa e termina Nele.

João 17:17. Santifica-os na Verdade; a Tua Palavra é a Verdade.

Para ser guiado pela Verdade, você precisa estar imerso na Palavra de Deus. Andar na Verdade, falar a Verdade é uma jornada que precisa se tornar hábito e estilo de vida constante.

3 João 1:4. Não tenho maior alegria do que ouvir que meus filhos estão andando na verdade.

Andar na Verdade é algo visível e testemunhável. Aprendemos a Verdade com atitudes práticas.

Efésios 4:15. Antes, falando a verdade em amor, cresçamos em tudo naquele que é a cabeça, Cristo.”

Andar na Verdade exige integridade na comunicação. honesto, mas sempre com o propósito de construir com amor nunca de destruir. A Verdade traz paz ao ambiente.

1 João 1:6-7. Se dissermos que temos comunhão com Ele e andarmos nas trevas, mentimos e não praticamos a Verdade. Mas, se andarmos na luz, como Ele na luz está, temos comunhão uns com os outros.

Verdade e transparência andam juntas. Temos que rejeitar a duplicidade, você é filho de Deus em qualquer lugar. Temos que buscar uma vida íntegra, à luz da presença de Deus.

Gálatas 5:7. Vocês corriam bem. Quem os impediu de continuar a obedecer à verdade?

A Verdade não para um tempo, a Verdade é para todo tempo. Se desviar do Caminho da Verdade é viver sem direção e sem a proteção divina.

Use a Verdade de Deus como seu GPS espiritual, em momentos de decisão ou incerteza, volte para a Palavra e ore por direção.

João 8:31-32. Disse Jesus aos judeus que haviam crido Nele: ‘Se vocês permanecerem firmes na minha Palavra, verdadeiramente serão meus discípulos. E conhecerão a Verdade, e a Verdade os libertará’.

À permanência na Palavra nos liberta dos vícios, dos medos, das mentiras das opressões, das inquietações e traz paz interior naquilo que estamos a fazer. 

CONCLUSÃO

Provérbios 12:19. Os lábios que dizem a verdade permanecem para sempre, mas a língua mentirosa dura apenas um instante.

Entenda que no mundo há muitas notícias falsas e promessas vazias, a Verdade que falamos e damos testemunho tem que causar impacto nas pessoas e até em nosso meio.

Salmos 86:11. Esina-me, SENHOR, o teu caminho, e andarei na Tua Verdade.”

Nossas orações para você não apenas conhecer a Verdade, mas andar nela de forma prática, amorosa e transformadora.

GAIO E DEMÉTRIO – TESTEMUNHAS DA VERDADE.

Toda a nossa vida devemos meditar, refletir e aplicar em nossa vida comunitária e espiritual a Verdade Bíblica. 

3 João 1:3-4. Fiquei sobremodo alegre pela vinda de irmãos e pelo seu testemunho da tua verdade, como tu andas na verdade. Não tenho maior alegria do que está, a de ouvir que meus filhos andam na verdade.

O apóstolo João escreve a Gaio, um líder amado na igreja, reconhecido por sua fidelidade e hospitalidade. Alguns irmãos da fé haviam visitado Gaio e, ao retornarem ao apóstolo João, testemunharam sobre a fidelidade e os procedimentos da vida de Gaio.

O Apóstolo Roy Pillay, esse ano nos deu uma palavra chave para todos observarem, meditar e aplicar.

ANDAR NA VERDADE – No original, indica um modo de vida contínuo, uma jornada. Não é apenas conhecer a verdade doutrinária, mas viver de acordo com ela, em integridade, amor e obediência a Jesus Cristo.

João 14:6. Jesus disse – Eu sou o caminho, e a verdade, e a vida; ninguém vem ao Pai senão por mim.

O relato dos irmãos que visitaram João não foi sobre sucesso ou dons, mas sobre o caráter de Gaio. Sua vida era um testemunho verificável.

Esse relatório trouxe uma imensa alegria ao apóstolo João. Entenda esse é  um relatório espiritual relacional, que todo pastor deseja ouvir; Ver seus filhos e discípulos espirituais perseverando na fé, está é a recompensa ministerial.

Nessa mesma carta, Demétrio recebeu aprovação da Verdade Doutrinária entre os incrédulos. 

V12. Quanto a Demétrio, todos lhe dão testemunho, até a própria verdade, e nós também damos testemunho; e sabes que o nosso testemunho é verdadeiro.

Observe também que nessa mesma carta há um contraste, nem sempre os pastores recebem bons relatórios sobre a conduta dos seus filhos e discípulos espirituais.

3 João 1:9-10. Escrevi alguma coisa à igreja; mas Diótrefes, que gosta de exercer a primazia entre eles, não nos dá acolhida. Por isso, se eu for aí, far-lhe-ei lembradas as obras que ele pratica, proferindo contra nós palavras maliciosas. E, não satisfeito com estas coisas, nem ele mesmo acolhe os irmãos, como impede os que querem recebê-los e os expulsa da igreja.

Aqui está um exemplo de caráter muito diferente, Diótrefes é um modelo de crente ambicioso, um líder de igreja mau. Ele é um gerador de queixas, não é generoso, ele ministra a igreja do Senhor com um espírito pouco cristão. 

Qualquer líder espiritual com temperamento orgulhoso e ambicioso vai amar a preeminência do mal, vai menosprezar as autoridades, ele busca a satisfação de seus próprios ideais. 

Nesta temporada Diótrefes, é um crente que busca protagonismo e rejeita a autoridade estabelecida por Deus no ministério. Gaio, um crente com um aspecto específico, ele anda na verdade e cuida das pessoas generosamente. 

O Meu Andar é um Testemunho?

Vamos fazer uma avaliação dos nossos comportamentos e das nossas atividades cotidianas no trabalho, em casa, nas redes sociais, elas testemunham da Verdade? 

As pessoas com quem convivemos poderiam relatar, como os irmãos fizeram sobre Gaio, que você anda na Verdade?

Eles poderiam falar da sua honestidade nos pequenos negócios, pureza no seu falar, que há consistência na sua devoção pelas coisas de Deus. Que você trata bem as pessoas e que você é confiável no relacionamento? 

São muitas as perguntas a serem respondidas, e todas as nossas respostas devem ser avaliadas a luz da Verdade. 

A Palavra de Deus é a Fonte de Alegria e Encorajamento. 

A maior alegria do apóstolo João não veio de bens materiais ou conquistas pessoais, mas do sucesso espiritual de outros. Nossa cultura individualista nos faz focar em nossa jornada. 

Um verdadeiro líder espiritual tem prazer no crescimento de seus discípulos e filhos espirituais. Nossa profunda alegria está no crescimento alheio.

O meu desejo e com certeza que o desejo do apóstolo Roy é identificar com alegria quem a gente ajudou e encorajou na fé. Nossos corações se alegram aqueles que ajudamos a seguir Jesus Cristo fielmente.

As nossas orações são para vocês se tornarem crentes como Gaio e Demétrio, líderes espirituais capazes de encorajar os irmãos em necessidades e apoiar com as práticas da Verdade Doutrinária adquirido na Palavra de Deus, para que eles continuem andando na Verdade.

O que importa para Jesus Cristo e para a Sua Igreja é a valorização da Palavra em sua vida, é isso que importa para Deus.

O que mais alegra o coração de pai espiritual, não são os números, os presentes, o templo, as festas ou os programas, mas as vidas transformadas dos fiéis. A nossa prioridade, a prioridade da igreja é que os filhos vivam da Verdade.  

A Comunidade Bíblica Vivendo Com Cristo, quer celebrar os testemunhos públicos de fidelidade, de honestidade íntegra e não apenas de conquistas espetaculares. 

Nós queremos ouvir que você é íntegro no trabalho, nos seus negócios, na sua casa, na sua escola e principalmente entre os ímpios. 

Presta atenção! Qual seria a resposta de uma pergunta sobre quem convive com você, qual seria o testemunho sobre a sua vida? O homem estabelecido e seus irmãos de fé teriam a maior alegria que o apóstolo João descreve?

A verdade revelada por Jesus Cristo é absoluta, imutável e fundamentalmente incompatível com a falsidade. É um princípio que permeia as Escrituras, molda a compreensão e guia a vida cristã.

A Bíblia é clara sobre as origens e a natureza da verdade e da falsidade. O verdadeiro ensino cristão está enraizado na verdade: O apóstolo Paulo enfatizou que sua mensagem não provém de engano, nem de segundas intenções, nem de artimanhas, mas da sinceridade aprovada por Deus.

A verdade e a mentira têm origens distintas: As Escrituras afirmam claramente que nenhuma mentira provém da verdade. São opostos com origens diferentes.

Rejeitar a Verdade tem consequências, muitas pessoas são desviadas porque não aceitaram o amor da verdade.

A Verdade Imutável provém de Deus e está nos 4 Evangelhos e não é negociável nem ajustável. A Palavra de Deus é apresentada como a única verdade absoluta que não muda nem se adapta às opiniões humanas ou aos costumes de diferentes épocas.

A Verdade que vem da parte de Deus não pode ser falsificada. A nossa missão é anunciar essa Verdade sem falsificar a mensagem para torná-la mais aceitável ou atraente ao pensamento popular. 

A Verdade está centrada em Deus, para os cristãos, a Verdade não é apenas uma ideia; ela está encarnada em Jesus Cristo, que declarou – Eu sou o caminho, a verdade e a vida.

Portanto se vivemos a Verdade significa que fomos configurados em Cristo. A Verdade faz parte da santidade. 

Efésio 4:24-25. E vos revistais do novo homem, criado segundo Deus, em justiça e retidão procedentes da verdade. Por isso, deixando a mentira, fale cada um a verdade com o seu próximo, porque somos membros uns dos outros.

As mentiras, que são características da velha natureza da qual os cristãos são chamados a se afastar.

Essa é uma temporada que precisamos muito do Espírito Santo para discernir a Verdade devido a era digital. Os cristãos são chamados a discernir, é necessário testar as informações em vez de aceitar tudo o que parece espiritual, há muitas desinformações propositais com fim de enganar.  

A Bíblia identifica o diabo como o pai da mentira. Mentir, portanto, não é meramente uma falha social, mas alinha a pessoa a um caráter oposto a Deus.

Para uma integridade pessoal temos que nos comprometer com a honestidade com o reflexo da fé em Jesus Cristo. A Bíblia enfatiza fortemente a sinceridade nos lábios e adverte que mentir é uma abominação ao Senhor.

A nossa proteção é a Verdade do Senhor – Salmo 91:4.Cobrir-te-á com as suas penas, e, sob suas asas, estarás seguro; a sua verdade é proteção e escudo.

À luz da Verdade é uma consistência das Escrituras. Desconfie de mensagens que distorcem sutilmente o Evangelho para se adequar a desejos pessoais ou tendências culturais.

O nosso objetivo é representar fielmente a Verdade de Jesus Cristo em um mundo confuso, não alterá-la para facilitar a sua aceitação.

A Verdade de Jesus Cristo é um alicerce sólido em um mundo de opiniões voláteis e falsidades. Sua natureza imutável é o que Lhe dá o poder verdadeiramente libertar e transformar vidas através Sua Verdade vivida e  testemunhada pelos verdadeiros filhos de Deus.

CONCLUSÃO 

A nossa oração ao Pai, ao Filho e ao Espírito Santo: – Obrigado Senhor pelo exemplo de Gaio e Demétrio pelo coração pastoral do Apóstolo João. Ajuda-nós a ‘andar na Sua Verdade’ de forma tão consistente que a nossas vidas sejam um testemunho claro do Teu caráter. Coloca em nossos corações a Tua alegria, a alegria de ver meus irmãos e irmãs crescendo em integridade, honestidade e fidelidade a Ti. Dá a nós a oportunidade de expressar com gratidão aquele que tem nos ensinado e nos encorajado à Sua Verdade.

WALKING IN TRUTH

TRUTH IS IN THE WORD OF GOD.

Truth is Centered on the Bible – The Word of God is the Central Foundation of the Christian Faith.

The truth of God’s Word is much more than historical facts or moral rules. It has revealed truths that humanity could not discover on its own. The Bible shows us who God is, what our condition is, including the problem of sin, and the plan of redemption through Jesus Christ.

The Bible has the Supreme Word of a person who said – I am the way, the truth, and the life. John 14:6. I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me. Jesus Christ said this.

The Bible points to Him, testifies about Him, and reveals Him. Truth is not just a set of ideas, but a relationship with a Divine person.

The Word of God is considered the firm and immutable foundation in a world with diverse opinions. The word of God is not only true for the world, but true in itself. Psalm 119:160. Your words are all truth from the beginning,

and each of your righteous judgments endures forever.

Truth is the essence of God’s Word. The structure of the universe is formed by the Truth of God’s Word. It is the agent of creation, the Truth of the Word that sustains the universe.

The Truth of the Word is not to be merely known intellectually, but to be lived. It has the power to judge thoughts, adjust courses, and transform character.

Hebrews 4:12. The word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

This means that the Truth of the Word has the capacity to speak to our hearts at any time and circumstance. It is dynamic, active in fulfilling the purpose for which it was sent—to transform, convince, reconcile, and edify all in the will of God.

The Word of God has a power of penetration and discernment that no human instrument possesses. It reaches the very depths of being; the idea is that the Word reaches the core, the most intimate part, the nucleus of our existence. It exposes motivations, desires, and secret thoughts.

When we read or hear the Word of God, we are not merely receiving information, but placing ourselves under the powerful and penetrating action of God Himself, who knows us completely and transforms us from within.

Nothing is hidden from God’s eyes. Everything is uncovered and exposed before the Eyes that see all.

For believers, it is the ultimate authority on matters of faith, practice, morality, and purpose. It is our manual for living the true life and bearing witness to the Truth of Jesus Christ.

Understand that the Bible is the Truth of God; it shows concrete attitudes and consequences. Through it, one learns about God, creation, salvation, heaven, and hell. It is a reliable source; without it, faith would be based only on feelings or human philosophy.

The Truth of the Bible is the absolute guide to moral conduct and ethics. We live in a world with constantly changing values; the Truth of the Word offers clear clauses for right and wrong, for justice, love, and holiness.

Through the Truth of the Word we know who we are; it tells us about our origin, our creation in the image of God, the problem of the fall into sin, the value of redemption through Jesus Christ, and the destiny of eternal life.

Matthew 24:35. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

The Word of Truth helps us evaluate the ideologies and cultural trends of the world; Truth brings light to all perspectives; it acts as a filter and a lens to help us interpret the world.

The Truth of God’s Word is a reliable, objective, and transformative automatic revelation from God himself, centered on Jesus Christ. It is the foundation of faith with the power to bring light to darkness, direction to confusion, and life where there is spiritual death.

IT IS FUNDAMENTAL TO WALK IN THE TRUTH. Understand that to walk in Truth, before Truth itself is necessary, there is the Way of Truth. The point above shows the origin and nature of Truth.

Psalm 86:11. Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.

John 14:6. Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Remember that walking in Truth is not following a philosophy, but a relationship with Jesus Christ. Every search for Truth begins and ends in Him.

John 17:17. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

To be guided by Truth, you need to be immersed in the Word of God. Walking in Truth, speaking Truth is a journey that needs to become a constant habit and lifestyle.

3 John 1:4. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

Walking in the truth is something visible and testable. We learn the truth through practical actions.

Ephesians 4:15. “Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.”

Walking in Truth requires integrity in communication. Honesty, but always with the purpose of building with love, never destroying. Truth brings peace to the environment.

1 John 1:6-7. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another.

Truth and transparency go hand in hand. We must reject duplicity; you are a child of God everywhere. We must seek an upright life, in the light of God’s presence.

Galatians 5:7. You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth?

Truth doesn’t stop at a certain time; Truth is for all time. To stray from the Path of Truth is to live without direction and without divine protection.

Use God’s Truth as your spiritual GPS; in moments of decision or uncertainty, return to the Word and pray. By direction.

John 8:31-32. Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in Him, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Remaining in the Word frees us from vices, fears, lies, oppression, and anxieties, and brings inner peace to what we are doing.

CONCLUSION.

Proverbs 12:19. Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.

Understand that in the world there is much false news and empty promises; the Truth that we speak and bear witness to must have an impact on people and even on our own community.

Psalm 86:11. “Teach me your way, Lord, that I may walk in your truth.”

Our prayers are that you not only know the Truth, but walk in it in a practical, loving, and transformative way.

Gaius and Demetrius – Witnesses of the Truth.

Throughout our lives we should meditate on, reflect upon, and apply Biblical Truth to our community and spiritual life.

3 John 1:3-4. I rejoiced greatly when the brothers came and testified to your truth, as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than this, to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

The apostle John writes to Gaius, a beloved leader in the church, recognized for his faithfulness and hospitality. Some brothers in faith had visited Gaius and, upon returning to the apostle John, testified about Gaius’s faithfulness and conduct in life.

This year, Apostle Roy Pillay gave us a key word for everyone to observe, meditate on, and apply.

WALKING IN THE TRUTH – In the original text, it indicates a continuous way of life, a journey. It is not just knowing doctrinal truth, but living according to it, in integrity, love, and obedience to Jesus Christ.

John 14:6. Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.”

The report from the brothers who visited John was not about success or gifts, but about Gaius’ character. His life was a verifiable testimony.

This report brought immense joy to the apostle John. Understand that this is a relational spiritual report, which every pastor desires to hear; to see his spiritual children and disciples persevering in the faith, this is the ministerial reward.

In that same letter, Demetrius received approval of the Doctrinal Truth among unbelievers.

V12. As for Demetrius, everyone speaks well of him, even the truth itself, and we also speak well of him; and you know that our testimony is true.

Note also that in this same letter there is a contrast; pastors do not always receive good reports about the conduct of their spiritual children and disciples.

3 John 1:9-10. I wrote something to the church; But Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, does not welcome us. Therefore, if I come, I will call attention to his deeds which he does, speaking malicious words against us. And not content with these things, he himself does not welcome the brothers, and even forbids those who want to welcome them and expels them from the church.

Here is an example of a very different character. Diotrephes is a model of an ambitious believer, a bad church leader. He is a source of complaints, he is not generous, he ministers to the Lord’s church with an unchristian spirit.

Any spiritual leader with a proud and ambitious temperament will love the preeminence of evil, will despise authority, and will seek the satisfaction of his own ideals.

In this season, Diotrephes is a believer who seeks protagonism and rejects the authority established by God in ministry. Gaius, a believer with a specific aspect, walks in truth and generously cares for people.

Is My Walk a Testimony?

Let’s evaluate our behaviors and daily activities at work, at home, and on social media. Do they bear witness to the Truth?

Could the people we interact with attest, as the brothers did about Gaius, that you walk in the Truth?

They could speak of your honesty in small business dealings, the purity of your speech, the consistency in your devotion to the things of God. That you treat people well and that you are trustworthy in relationships?

There are many questions to be answered, and all our answers must be evaluated in the light of Truth.

The Word of God is a Source of Joy and Encouragement.

The greatest joy of the apostle John did not come from material possessions or personal achievements, but from the spiritual success of others. Our individualistic culture makes us focus on our own journey.

A true spiritual leader takes pleasure in the growth of his disciples and spiritual children. Our deepest joy lies in the growth of others.

My desire, and surely the desire of the apostle Roy, is to joyfully identify those we have helped and encouraged in the faith. Our hearts rejoice in those who help us to follow Jesus Christ faithfully.

Our prayers are that you may become believers like Gaius and Demetrius, wise leaders capable of encouraging brothers in need and supporting them with the practices of Doctrinal Truth acquired in the Word of God, so that they may continue walking in the Truth.

What matters to Jesus Christ and His Church is the valuing of the Word in your life; that is what matters to God.

What most gladdens the heart of a spiritual father is not the numbers, the gifts, the temple, the celebrations, or the programs, but the transformed lives of the faithful. Our priority, the priority of the church, is that the children live by the Truth.

The Living With Christ Biblical Community wants to celebrate public testimonies of faithfulness, of complete honesty, and not just spectacular achievements.

We want to hear that you are integrated at work, in your business, in your home, in your school, and especially among the ungodly.

Pay attention! What would be the answer to a question about who you live with, what would be the testimony about your life? Did the established man and his brothers in faith experience the greatest joy that the apostle John described?

The truth revealed by Jesus Christ is absolute, immutable, and fundamentally incompatible with falsehood. It is a principle that permeates the Scriptures, shapes understanding, and guides the Christian life.

The Bible is clear about the origins and nature of truth and falsehood. True Christian teaching is rooted in truth: The apostle Paul emphasized that his message proved not to be deceitful, nor of ulterior motives, nor of trickery, but of sincerity approved by God.

Truth and falsehood have distinct origins: The Scriptures clearly state that no lie proves the truth. They are opposites with different origins.

Rejecting the Truth has consequences; many people are led astray because they did not accept the love of truth.

The Immutable Truth comes from God and is found in the four Gospels; it is neither negotiable nor adjustable. The Word of God is presented as the only absolute truth that does not change or adapt to human opinions or the customs of different eras.

The Truth that comes from God cannot be falsified. Our mission is to proclaim this Truth without falsifying the message to make it more acceptable or appeal to popular thought.

Truth is centered on God; for Christians, Truth is not just an idea; it is embodied in Jesus Christ, who declared – I am the way, the truth, and the life.

Therefore, if we live the Truth, it means we have been conformed to Christ. Truth is part of holiness.

Ephesians 4:24-25. And put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.

Lies are characteristics of the old nature from which Christians are called to turn away.

This is a season in which we greatly need the Holy Spirit to discern the Truth due to the digital age. Christians are called to discern; it is necessary to test information instead of accepting everything that seems spiritual. There is much misinformation proposed with the aim of deceiving.

The Bible identifies the devil as the father of lies. Lying, therefore, is not merely a social failing, but aligns a person with a character opposed to God.

For personal integrity, we must commit to honesty, reflecting faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible strongly emphasizes sincerity of words and warns that lying is an abomination to the Lord.

Our protection is the Truth of the Lord – Psalm 91:4. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

In the light of Truth is a consistency of Scripture. Be wary of messages that subtly distort the Gospel to suit personal desires or cultural trends.

Our goal is to faithfully represent the Truth of Jesus Christ in a confused world, not to alter it to make it more accessible.

The Truth of Jesus Christ is a solid joy in a world of volatile opinions and falsehoods. Its unchanging nature is what gives it the power to truly liberate and transform lives through His vivid Truth, witnessed by the true children of God.

CONCLUSION

Our prayer to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit: – Thank you, Lord, for the example of Gaius and Demetrius, for the pastoral heart of the Apostle John. Help us to ‘walk in Your Truth’ so consistently that our lives may be a clear testimony of Your character. Place in our hearts Your joy, the joy of seeing my brothers and sisters growing in integrity, honesty, and faithfulness to You. Give us the opportunity to express with that gratitude that has taught and encouraged us in Your Truth.

PERSPECTIVE –  ROY PILLAY

We must consider the inexplicable joy of the Lord. This is diametrically opposed to the temporal feelings of happiness and excitement that come from indulging our five senses.

Even our greatest spiritual gifts diminish daily, even “failing” and  “vanishing away”

1 Corinthians 13:8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

May that which is PERFECT (Christ – the embodiment of the AGAPE Love of God) arise in the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ in us – His joy (the Joy of the Lord) becomes our Strength.

NO GREATER JOY

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

The apostle John associates “joy” in the practical manifestation of the Word of God. He  declares that there is no greater joy for him than to hear that his spiritual children who he has discipled, are walking in the truth. This is the ultimate goal for ALL disciples of the Lord …. it is not only to KNOW THE TRUTH but to walk in it. This demands dismantling every corrupt and deceptive operating system within our ministry. The lawless one will target, with all unrighteous deception, those who do not love the truth.

2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Within an apostolic/prophetic paradigm there is NO GREATER JOY for leaders, especially fathers,  to see their spiritual sons walking and manifesting the truth

In this next level ……. We do not only, teach about tithes and offerings We bring the tithe and the offerings to the spiritual father without any coercion

In this next level ……. We do not only, teach great lessons on the FIRST FRUIT OFFERING, we bring our first fruit offering to our SPIRITUAL FATHER without coercion

In this next level ……. We do not only, teach emotional, zealous and dramatic lessons on the father/son wineskin, both fathers and sons become the embodiment of the doctrine; there must be a reset and a mutual interface

We celebrate and rejoice in the birth of Christ in every season; in and out of the festive season. Our passion and zeal for hearing the Word of the Lord endures through every season. Believers must be careful not to become distracted from their faith and become apostate during this festive season. We rejoice because our Saviour and Redeemer, Christ Jesus was born! Joy to the world, because that which is PERFECT has come!

THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE DISCIPLES OF THE LORD DO NOT AFFECT THEIR JOY

Acts 16:25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.

JOY WHEN WE SERVE AND OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE LORD

The 70 disciples returned from their assignment with joy

Luke 10:17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”

Jesus reminds His disciples to rejoice, not only because of the success of their ministry, but more importantly that their names are recorded in heaven. Jesus directs His disciples to the true reason to rejoice and to be joyful

Luke 10:20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven

The Joy of Being a Believer – It stands out with the joy, peace, hope, and purpose we find in God.

The Joy of Salvation and Grace The basis of our joy is knowing that we have been saved by grace and have our sins forgiven.

Psalm 16:11 – You will show me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

The believer’s joy lies in the certainty of eternal life. A personal relationship with God will give believers confidence in a future life with God, and the assurance that He will not abandon them when they die.

All believers should live in the light of the resurrection of Jesus Christ; His soul was not left behind in death.

The greatest pleasure is not in the things of the world, but in the very presence of God. In Him we find complete and lasting joy.

Our faith in Jesus Christ produces a joy so profound that it is sometimes difficult to explain. It is a joy that springs from the certainty of salvation. Romans 5:1-5. Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Being a believer means having peace with God and direct access to His grace. This privilege is a constant source of joy and confidence. The joy of being a believer comes from the justification of faith, which produces in the believer a spiritual rejoicing even in tribulations.

The peace of God is added with joy, even when we are afflicted by all kinds of tribulations and trials. This includes things like financial needs, material needs, difficult circumstances, illnesses, sorrows, persecutions, mistreatment, or loneliness.

The Peace That Surpasses All Understanding In a world of chaos, God’s children need supernatural peace.

Philippians 4:4-9. Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Put into practice everything you have learned, received, heard, and seen in me. And the God of peace will be with you.

The joy of being a believer requires changes in values, renunciation of the past, a migration to the present that gives you hope for the future. God’s children have the privilege of always rejoicing in Him, at all times, in all conditions, even when afflicted.

There is enough in God to supply us with joy in the worst circumstances. The joy of being a believer includes the ability to exchange anxiety for a peace that human reason cannot comprehend.

We are exhorted to spiritual purity, gentleness, and a good temperament towards people; the reason for this is the Lord Jesus Christ. The joy of being a believer becomes greater when we put aside our reasons, when our final report is Jesus Christ.

Our final report should prevent us from hurting, retaliating, planning offensive responses, and frowning as if we had experienced something unpleasant.

The apostolic doctrine comes with the teaching of mercy; God allows things to happen to us so that we may grow inwardly and outwardly. Our reactions need to be seen by people and judged, so that they may see the good that God does for those who love Him!

John 14:27. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

When we are in Jesus Christ, our hearts are guarded by His Word. The Holy Spirit causes our troubled souls to overflow with peace and joy.

The Doctrine of the Prophetic Apostolic Reformation is to fix our minds on things that are true, pure, just, and holy; otherwise, we will not experience the peace, health, and joys of God.

If someone wants to fix their mind on the things of the world, they should prepare for the loss of the protection and intimate presence of the Holy Spirit. You are being instructed in the word of God to have the ability to live victoriously above the unstable and adverse situations of life.

All this does not occur in a natural way, but in a supernatural way, through the power of Grace that has been poured into our hearts. The word of God is the fortress of our hearts; our hearts must listen to the Holy Spirit. The heart is deceitful, but the Spirit is the Truth. If you have been listening to the word of God during this time, you will know how to discern what He is telling you.

The peace that Jesus Christ gives us is different from any tranquility that the world can offer. The peace of the Lord is a gift that calms the heart even in the storms.

The Security and Constant Presence of God

Knowing that we are never alone is an immense pleasure and comfort.

Psalm 23:1-4 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Being a believer is like having the best and most caring shepherd. We have direction, rest, refreshment, and protection at all times.

Hebrews 13:5. For he has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

This is one of the most powerful promises. The joy of being a believer comes from the absolute certainty that God never, under any circumstances, abandons us. God gives us a reason to live and strength to overcome what comes against us. He has plans for our fears and anxieties.

We cannot forget that the great prophets went through difficult times for loving God’s cause. Jesus Christ himself had his moment of spiritual solitude in Gethsemane, but he was comforted by the Father.

Being a believer means knowing that our life is not an accident. God has a good plan for us, full of hope and future.

Our calling is to do good; the Word of the Lord within us is hope for others. Our work has an expected end; have patience until the fruit ripens.

Isaiah 40:31. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

The weariness of life is not the final word; do not let yourself be overcome by evil. We must increase the good in the lives of those who only know how to offend us and be offended. In God, we find renewed strength to overcome relationship problems and move forward without becoming discouraged by others.

We will be known as disciples of Jesus by lovingly overcoming others. Our main attraction to draw people to Jesus Christ is love.

Matthew 5:43-47. You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?

There is no debate when perfect love is being displayed; we must consider the sign by which the world would know the children of the Heavenly Father. In practicing piety and mercy, have the absolute perspective of a final transformation in people.

Evil is not forever; those who practice good have hope of change. Goodness has the power to nullify the attacks of evil; we only need to have the goodwill to apply the doctrine of Jesus Christ.

Our courteous and friendly words tend to lessen insults. A gentle word turns away wrath; we need them to be at peace with us. The kindness we practice is upon our own heads.

We must reveal the love that has been implanted within us, and not the hatred that is in the world. We will never stop doing good to those who wish us well, but our kindness and compassion must surpass the righteousness of the Pharisees.

CONCLUSION

Being a believer is not about carrying a heavy burden, but about experiencing a profound joy that only God can give.

It is the joy of forgiveness, peace in adversity, security in the Father’s presence, strength for challenges, and hope that shines beyond death.

This joy is available to all who seek Him with all their heart. The joy of being a believer is, in truth, the joy of knowing and being loved by God, and even having your enemies respect you as a child of God.

May the Lord bless you, may you be a channel of blessing and encouragement to many to joyfully live a Christian life.

A ALEGRIA DE SER CRENTE

Devemos considerar a alegria inexplicável do Senhor. Isso é diametralmente oposto aos sentimentos temporais de felicidade e excitação que vêm de nos entregarmos aos nossos cinco sentidos.

Até nossos maiores dons espirituais diminuem diariamente, chegando a “falhar” e “desaparecer”

1 Coríntios 13:8 O amor nunca falha. Mas, se houver profecias, elas falharão; se houver línguas, elas cessarão; Quer não haja conhecimento, ele desaparecerá. 9 Pois sabemos em parte e profetizamos em parte. 10 Mas quando o que é perfeito tiver chegado, então o que é em parte será eliminado.

Que o que é PERFEITO (Cristo – a personificação do Amor AGAPE de Deus) surja na medida da estatura da plenitude de Cristo em nós – Sua alegria (a Alegria do Senhor) se torne nossa Força.

NÃO HÁ ALEGRIA MAIOR

3 João 1:2 Amado, oro para que prospere em todas as coisas e esteja saudável, assim como sua alma prospera. 3 Pois eu me alegrei muito quando irmãos vieram e testemunharam da verdade que há em vocês, assim como caminham na verdade. 4 Não tenho maior alegria do que ouvir que meus filhos caminham na verdade.

O apóstolo João associa a “alegria” à manifestação prática da Palavra de Deus. Ele declara que não há alegria maior para ele do que ouvir que seus filhos espirituais, que ele discipulou, estão caminhando na verdade. Esse é o objetivo final de TODOS os discípulos do Senhor…. não é apenas CONHECER A VERDADE, mas caminhar nela. Isso exige desmontar todo sistema operacional corrupto e enganoso dentro do nosso ministério. O fora da lei mirará, com toda enganação injusta, aqueles que não amam a verdade.

2 Tesalonicenses 2:8 E então será revelado o sem lei, que o Senhor consumirá com o sopro de Sua boca e destruirá com o brilho de Sua vinda. 9 A vinda do anfora da lei é segundo a obra de Satanás, com todo poder, sinais e milagres mentirosos, 10 e com toda enganação injusta entre os que perecem, porque não receberam o amor da verdade, para que fossem salvos. 11 E por isso Deus lhes enviará fortes ilusões, que devem acreditar na mentira, 12 que todos sejam condenados quem não acreditou na verdade, mas se deleitou na injustiça.

Dentro de um paradigma apostólico/profético, não há MAIOR alegria para os líderes, especialmente os pais, em ver seus filhos espirituais caminhando e manifestando a verdade

Neste próximo nível ……. Não ensinamos apenas sobre dízimos e oferendas, Nós levamos o dízimo e as oferendas ao pai espiritual sem qualquer coerção

Neste próximo nível ……. Não apenas ensinamos grandes lições sobre a PRIMEIRA OFERTA DE FRUTO, como trazemos nossa primeira oferta de frutos ao nosso PAI ESPIRITUAL sem coerção

Neste próximo nível ……. Não apenas ensinamos lições emocionais, zelosas e dramáticas no odre pai/filho, como pais e filhos tornam-se a personificação da doutrina; Deve haver um reset e uma interface mútua

Celebramos e nos alegramos no nascimento de Cristo em todas as estações; entrando e saindo da temporada festiva. Nossa paixão e zelo por ouvir a Palavra do Senhor perduram em todas as estações. Os crentes devem ter cuidado para não se distrair de sua fé e se tornarem apóstatas durante esta temporada festiva. Celebramos porque nosso Salvador e Redentor, Cristo Jesus, nasceu! Alegria ao mundo, porque aquilo que é PERFEITO chegou!

AS CIRCUNSTÂNCIAS DOS DISCÍPULOS DO SENHOR NÃO AFETAM SUA ALEGRIA

Atos 16:25 Mas à meia-noite, Paulo e Silas estavam orando e cantando hinos a Deus, e os prisioneiros os ouviam. 26 De repente, houve um grande terremoto, que abalou os alicerces da prisão; e imediatamente todas as portas foram abertas e as correntes de todos foram soltas.

ALEGRIA QUANDO SERVIMOS E OBEDECEMOS ÀS INSTRUÇÕES DO SENHOR

Os 70 discípulos retornaram de sua missão com alegria

Lucas 10:17 Então os setenta voltaram com alegria, dizendo: “Senhor, até os demônios nos estão sujeitos em Teu nome.”

Jesus lembra Seus discípulos de se alegrarem, não apenas pelo sucesso de seu ministério, mas, mais importante, pelo fato de que seus nomes estão registrados no céu. Jesus orienta Seus discípulos para a verdadeira razão de alegria e alegria

Lucas 10:20 No entanto, não te alegres por isso, pois os espíritos estão sujeitos a ti, mas sim por teres nomes escritos no céu

A Alegria de Ser Crente – Ela se destaca pela alegria, paz, esperança e propósito que encontramos em Deus.

A Alegria da Salvação e da Graça A base da nossa alegria é saber que fomos salvos pela graça e que nossos pecados foram perdoados.

Salmo 16:11 – Tu me mostrarás o caminho da vida; Na sua presença há plenitude de alegria; À sua direita estão prazeres para sempre.

A alegria do crente está na certeza da vida eterna. Um relacionamento pessoal com Deus dará confiança aos crentes em uma vida futura com Deus e a certeza de que Ele não os abandonará quando morrerem.

Todos os crentes devem viver à luz da ressurreição de Jesus Cristo; Sua alma não foi deixada para trás na morte.

O maior prazer não está nas coisas do mundo, mas na própria presença de Deus. Nele encontramos alegria completa e duradoura.

Nossa fé em Jesus Cristo produz uma alegria tão profunda que às vezes é difícil de explicar. É uma alegria que nasce da certeza da salvação. Romanos 5:1-5. Portanto, como fomos justificados pela fé, temos paz com Deus por meio do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, por meio de quem obtivemos acesso pela fé a esta graça em que agora estamos. E nos gabamos na esperança da glória de Deus. Além disso, também nos orgulhamos de nossos sofrimentos, porque sabemos que o sofrimento produz perseverança; perseverança, caráter; e caráter, esperança. E a esperança não nos envergonha, porque o amor de Deus foi derramado em nossos corações pelo Espírito Santo, que nos foi dado.

Ser crente significa ter paz com Deus e acesso direto à Sua graça. Esse privilégio é uma fonte constante de alegria e confiança. A alegria de ser crente vem da justificação da fé, que produz no crente uma alegria espiritual mesmo nas tribulações.

A Paz que Supera Toda Compreensão Em um mundo de caos, os filhos de Deus precisam de paz sobrenatural.

Filipenses 4:4-9. Alegra-te sempre no Senhor. Vou repetir: Alegrem-se! Que sua gentileza seja evidente para todos. O Senhor está perto. Não se preocupe com nada, mas em toda situação, por meio de oração e petição, com ação de graças, apresente seus pedidos a Deus. E a paz de Deus, que transcende todo entendimento, guardará seus corações e suas mentes em Cristo Jesus. Finalmente, irmãos e irmãs, tudo que é verdadeiro, tudo que é nobre, tudo que é certo, tudo que é puro, tudo que é belo, tudo que é admirável — se é que algo é excelente ou digno de louvor — pensem nessas coisas. Coloque em prática tudo o que aprendeu, recebeu, ouviu e viu em mim. E o Deus da paz estará com vocês.

A alegria de ser crente exige mudanças de valores, renúncia ao passado, uma migração para o presente que lhe dá esperança para o futuro. Os filhos de Deus têm o privilégio de sempre se alegrar com Ele, em todos os momentos, em todas as condições, mesmo quando afligidos.

Há o suficiente em Deus para nos proporcionar alegria nas piores circunstâncias. A alegria de ser crente inclui a capacidade de trocar ansiedade por uma paz que a razão humana não consegue compreender.

Somos exortados à pureza espiritual, gentileza e um bom temperamento para com as pessoas; a razão disso é o Senhor Jesus Cristo. A alegria de ser crente se torna maior quando deixamos de lado nossos motivos, quando nosso relatório final é Jesus Cristo.

Nosso relatório final deve evitar que nos machuquemos, retaliemos, planejemos respostas ofensivas e franzamos a testa como se tivéssemos passado por algo desagradável.

A doutrina apostólica vem com o ensinamento da misericórdia; Deus permite que coisas aconteçam conosco para que possamos crescer por dentro e por fora. Nossas reações precisam ser vistas pelas pessoas e julgadas, para que possam ver o bem que Deus faz por aqueles que O amam!

João 14:27. Paz deixo com você; minha paz eu te dou. Eu não dou a você como o mundo dá. Não deixem que seus corações se afligem e não tenham medo.

Quando estamos em Jesus Cristo, nossos corações são guardados pela Sua Palavra. O Espírito Santo faz com que nossas almas perturbadas transbordem de paz e alegria.

A Doutrina da Reforma Apostólica Profética é fixar nossa mente em coisas que são verdadeiras, puras, justas e santas; caso contrário, não experimentaremos a paz, a saúde e as alegrias de Deus.

Se alguém quer fixar sua mente nas coisas do mundo, deve se preparar para a perda da proteção e da presença íntima do Espírito Santo. Você está sendo instruído na palavra de Deus a ter a capacidade de viver vitoriosamente acima das situações instáveis e adversas da vida.

Tudo isso não ocorre de forma natural, mas de forma sobrenatural, através do poder da Graça que foi derramado em nossos corações. A palavra de Deus é a fortaleza de nossos corações; nossos corações devem ouvir o Espírito Santo. O coração é enganador, mas o Espírito é a Verdade. Se você tem ouvido a palavra de Deus durante esse tempo, saberá como discernir o que Ele está dizendo.

A paz que Jesus Cristo nos dá é diferente de qualquer tranquilidade que o mundo possa oferecer. A paz do Senhor é um presente que acalma o coração mesmo nas tempestades.

A Segurança e a Presença Constante de Deus

Saber que nunca estamos sozinhos é um imenso prazer e conforto.

Salmo 23:1-4 O Senhor é meu pastor; Não vou faltar nada. Ele me faz deitar em pastos verdes. Ele me conduz ao lado de águas calmas; Ele restaura minha alma. Ele me guia por caminhos de justiça por causa do seu nome. Mesmo que eu caminhe pelo vale da sombra da morte, não temerei mal nenhum, pois você está comigo; Sua vara e seu cajado, eles me confortam.

Ser crente é como ter o melhor e mais atencioso pastor. Temos direção, descanso, refresco e proteção o tempo todo.

Hebreus 13:5. Pois ele disse: “Nunca vos deixarei; nunca vou te abandonar.”

Essa é uma das promessas mais poderosas. A alegria de ser crente vem da certeza absoluta de que Deus nunca, sob nenhuma circunstância, nos abandona. Deus nos dá um motivo para viver e força para superar o que vier contra nós. Ele tem planos para nossos medos e ansiedades.

Não podemos esquecer que os grandes profetas passaram por tempos difíceis por amar a causa de Deus. O próprio Jesus Cristo teve seu momento de solidão espiritual no Getsêmani, mas foi consolado pelo Pai.

Ser crente significa saber que nossa vida não é um acidente. Deus tem um bom plano para nós, cheio de esperança e futuro.

Nossa vocação é fazer o bem; a Palavra do Senhor dentro de nós é esperança para os outros. Nosso trabalho tem um final esperado; Tenha paciência até o fruto amadurecer.

Isaías 40:31. Mas aqueles que esperam no Senhor renovarão suas forças. Eles voam em asas como águias; Eles vão correr e não se cansar, vão andar e não vão desmaiar.

O cansaço da vida não é a palavra final; Não se deixe dominar pelo mal. Devemos aumentar o bem na vida daqueles que só sabem ofender e se ofender. Em Deus, encontramos uma força renovada para superar problemas de relacionamento e seguir em frente sem nos deixar desanimar pelos outros.

Seremos conhecidos como discípulos de Jesus por superarem os outros com amor. Nossa principal atração para atrair as pessoas para Jesus Cristo é o amor.

Mateus 5:43-47. Você ouviu dizer que se dizia: ‘Ame o próximo e odeie o inimigo.’ Mas eu vos digo: amem os vossos inimigos e orem por aqueles que os perseguem, para que sejam filhos do vosso Pai que está nos céus. Ele faz seu sol nascer sobre os maus e os bons, e faz chuver sobre os justos e os injustos. Se você ama aqueles que te amam, que recompensa você receberá? Nem os cobradores de impostos fazem isso? E se você cumprimenta apenas o seu próprio povo, o que você está fazendo mais do que os outros? Nem pagãos fazem isso?

Não há debate quando o amor perfeito está sendo demonstrado; devemos considerar o sinal pelo qual o mundo conheceria os filhos do Pai Celestial. Ao praticar piedade e misericórdia, tenha a perspectiva absoluta de uma transformação final nas pessoas.

O mal não é para sempre; Aqueles que praticam o bem têm esperança de mudança. A bondade tem o poder de anular os ataques do mal; só precisamos de boa vontade para aplicar a doutrina de Jesus Cristo.

Nossas palavras corteses e amigáveis tendem a diminuir os insultos. Uma palavra gentil afasta a ira; Precisamos que eles estejam em paz conosco. A bondade que praticamos recai sobre nossas próprias cabeças.

Devemos revelar o amor que foi implantado em nós, e não o ódio que existe no mundo. Nunca deixaremos de fazer o bem àqueles que nos desejam o bem, mas nossa bondade e compaixão devem superar a justiça dos fariseus em justiça.

CONCLUSÃO

Ser crente não é carregar um fardo pesado, mas experimentar uma alegria profunda que só Deus pode dar.

É a alegria do perdão, a paz na adversidade, a segurança na presença do Pai, a força para os desafios e a esperança que brilha além da morte.

Essa alegria está disponível para todos que O buscam de todo o coração. A alegria de ser crente é, na verdade, a alegria de conhecer e ser amado por Deus, e até mesmo de ter seus inimigos respeitando você como filho de Deus.

Que o Senhor te abençoe, que você seja um canal de bênção e encorajamento para que muitos vivam com alegria uma vida cristã.

Rebuilding the Wall
1 Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests and built the Sheep Gate; they consecrated it and hung its doors. They built as far as the Tower of the Hundred, and consecrated it, then as far as the Tower of Hananel.

The nations of the earth will take personal responsibility in every area for their deliverance.
They will not be excited spectators but committed shareholders and participators of the deliverance of their cities and nations.
The first gate that was rebuilt under the leadership of Nehemiah by Eliashib the high priest and the priesthood is the SHEEP GATE – the entrance portal for the sacrificial offerings

PERSPECTIVE – ROY PILLAY

1 Corinthians 9:19 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more; 20 and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; 21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law; 22 to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 23 Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you.

The overwhelming spirit in these verses reveal an earnest desire in the apostle Paul to be able to present the gospel to all men in the hope that some may be saved. He considers himself as a servant to all men for the sake of the advancement and reach of the gospel.

This noble vision demands a great measure of grace and the “agape love of God” that enables us to relate to others who are not like us. Paul earnestly sought to become an exact representative of the Lord.

Romans 1:1

1 Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God

Christ Jesus also took the form of a “bondservant”

Philippians 2:5-11

5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

This strategy to win souls demanded a sacrifice of self from Paul who was highly educated in the law (statutes, ordinances, ceremonial laws – Mosaic law). 

Philippians 3:4 though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: 5 circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; 6 concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. 7 But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.

Paul studied the law, sitting at the feet of Gamaliel, a highly respected Jewish scholar and member of the Sanhedrin.

Acts 22:3 “I am indeed a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, taught according to the strictness of our fathers’ law, and was zealous toward God as you all are today.

After he encountered Christ, Paul was zealous concerning the salvation of the Jews. He even participated in the purification ceremony with four men to demonstrate his support of Jewish culture (Acts 21:26). He removed every obstacle in the way of Jews receiving the gospel. His passion for the salvation of souls overwhelmed any anxiety he may have had concerning any negative commentary from his Jewish brethren. He was unashamedly a bondservant of Christ Jesus.

Jesus demonstrates the fullness of His grace when He encountered the Samaritan woman at the well. We learn from Jesus that the “all sufficiency” of His grace enables us to cross ethnic, racial and cultural barriers in our quest to reach the unsaved. Jesus was willing to relate to “other sheep that He must also bring in” 

John 4: 9 Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans

John 10:16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

When we function with this great grace, we should not be judged by our audiences; we should be judged by the content of our message and it’s impact on the audience, especially those who are unsaved.

Leaders must challenge young believers to become disciples of the Lord. They must be trained, like Paul trained the disciples in the School of Tyrannus, reasoning with them daily. This resulted in the whole of Asia Minor hearing the Word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks. We must pray in this direction, that leaders embrace the need to “make disciples ” and then to send them out into the community to be witnesses to “other sheep”

Acts 19:9 But when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil of the Way before the multitude, he departed from them and withdrew the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus. 10 And this continued for two years, so that all who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

Effective Communication – Pastor Alistair Pillay

We read in scripture that Paul understood his audience. This is not manipulation but it is adaptation. He understood who he was talking to , their background and needs .

This understanding allows us to communicate the truth of God’s word effectively. Paul adjusts his style, not his integrity. He does not change the message 

He changes his approach. We can all speak the same message but it is important that we find different methods and ways to communicate. Jesus teaching style adapted to his audience. When He spoke to the crowds and multitudes , He spoke in parables. To His disciples He spoke directly 

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech always be with grace seasoned with salt that you may know how you ought to answer each one. 

During the rebellion of Absalom against king David we find David is waiting for news about the outcome of his son 

There were two messengers :

Ahimaaz – He was fast and eager The Cushite – chosen by Joab

Joab needs to send news to king David. Ahimaaz insists he wants to communicate the message 

2 Samuel 18:22 Let me run and take the news to the King 

Ahimaaz ran to the King. He outran the Cushite but he was unable to communicate the message to king David 

We must understand the message that we carry . So when we are required to communicate we will accurately do so. 

We are all at different places, different levels of maturity and different positions in our relationship with God 

Yet today as leaders and Pastors we carry a sacred responsibility to communicate the truth of God’s word to those we encounter. How effectively we communicate will greatly determine how well others are able to receive what God desires to speak through us. 

We must remember God’s people are diverse. Each person has a unique measure of grace, unique background and a unique level of understanding in the word. Because of this communication must be spirit led and adaptable. So that the message of Christ is not only spoken but understood, embraced and transformed into action.

O espírito predominante desses versículos revela um desejo sincero no apóstolo Paulo de poder apresentar o evangelho a todos os homens na esperança de que alguns possam ser salvos. Ele se considera um servo de todos os homens em prol do avanço e alcance do evangelho.

Filipenses 2:5 Que esteja em vós esta mente que também estava em Cristo Jesus, 6 que, estando na forma de Deus, não considerou roubo ser igual a Deus, 7 mas não se fez de reputação, assumindo a forma de servo e vindo à semelhança dos homens. 8 E sendo encontrado de aparência humana, Ele se humilhou e tornou-se obediente até a morte, até mesmo a morte da cruz. 9 Por isso Deus também o exaltou muito e lhe deu o nome que está acima de todo nome, 10 que pelo nome de Jesus todo joelho se curve, dos que estão no céu, dos que estão na terra e dos que estão debaixo da terra, 11 e que toda língua confesse que Jesus Cristo é Senhor, para a glória de Deus Pai.

Essa estratégia para conquistar almas exigia o sacrifício de si mesmo de Paulo, que era altamente instruído em direito (estatutos, ordenanças, leis cerimoniais – lei mosaica).

Filipenses 3:4 embora eu também possa ter confiança na carne e osso. Se alguém mais pensa que pode ter confiança na carne, eu ainda mais: 5 circuncidado no oitavo dia, do povo de Israel, da tribo de Benjamim, um hebreu dos hebreus; sobre a lei, um fariseu; 6 sobre zelo, perseguição à igreja; sobre a justiça que está na lei, sem culpa. 7 Mas o que ganhei para mim, isso contei como perda para Cristo.

Paulo estudou direito, sentando-se aos pés de Gamaliel, um estudioso judeu muito respeitado e membro do Sinédrio.

Atos 22:3″Sou realmente judeu, nascido em Tarso, na Cilícia, mas criado nesta cidade aos pés de Gamaliel, ensinado segundo a rigor da lei de nossos pais, e zeloso para com Deus como todos vocês são hoje.

Depois de encontrar Cristo, Paulo mostrou-se zeloso pela salvação dos judeus. Ele chegou a participar da cerimônia de purificação com quatro homens para demonstrar seu apoio à cultura judaica (Atos 21:26). Ele removeu todos os obstáculos para que os judeus recebessem o evangelho. Sua paixão pela salvação das almas superava qualquer ansiedade que pudesse ter em relação a comentários negativos de seus irmãos judeus. Ele era, sem vergonha, um servo de Cristo Jesus.

Jesus demonstra a plenitude de Sua graça quando encontrou a mulher samaritana no poço. João 4:9 Então a mulher de Samaria lhe disse: “Como é que Você, sendo judeu, pede um copo de mim, mulher samaritana?” Pois os judeus não têm contato com samaritanos

João 10:16 E outras ovelhas tenho que não são deste redil; também devo trazê-los, e eles ouvirão Minha voz; E haverá um rebanho e um pastor.

Quando atuamos com essa grande graça, não devemos ser julgados por nossas audiências; devemos ser julgados pelo conteúdo da nossa mensagem e seu impacto no público, especialmente naqueles que não foram salvos.

Os líderes devem desafiar os jovens crentes a se tornarem discípulos do Senhor. Eles precisam ser treinados, assim como Paulo treinou os discípulos na Escola de Tirano, raciocinando com eles diariamente. Isso resultou em toda a Ásia Menor ouvindo a Palavra do Senhor, tanto judeus quanto gregos. Devemos orar nessa direção, para que os líderes abracem a necessidade de “fazer discípulos” e então enviá-los para a comunidade para serem testemunhas de “outras ovelhas”

Atos 19:9 Mas quando alguns estavam endurecidos e não acreditavam, mas falavam mal do Caminho diante da multidão, ele se afastou deles e retirou os discípulos, raciocinando diariamente na escola de Tirano. 10 E assim continuou por dois anos, de modo que todos os que habitavam a Ásia ouviam a palavra do Senhor Jesus, tanto judeus quanto gregos.

Estamos todos em lugares diferentes, níveis diferentes de maturidade e posições diferentes em nosso relacionamento com Deus. Devemos lembrar que o povo de Deus é diverso. Cada pessoa tem uma medida única de graça, um histórico único e um nível único de compreensão da palavra. Por isso, a comunicação deve ser guiada pelo espírito e adaptável. Para que a mensagem de Cristo não seja apenas falada, mas compreendida, abraçada e transformada em ação.

Water is symbolic of the spirit filled Word of the Lord (Ephesians 5:26)

The Word dwells in and among us

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

Our eyes can be restrained whilst the incarnate Word walks with us. The Word can be having a conversation with us without us being able to discern the one who is talking as the  “Man with the Pitcher of Water”.

Luke 24:16 But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him.

Their eyes only opened when He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.

Luke 24:32 And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” 33 So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, 34 saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!”

GRACE CONNECTION

THE SOURCE OF THE FULLNESS OF GRACE AND TRUTH  IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. 

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.” 16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

 A relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is essential for accessing grace. His disciples had to pursue Jesus to access the water in the Pitcher (doctrine of Christ)

Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 

Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

ACCESSING GRACE

God’s method, in most cases of delivering grace is through the human vessel. Every grace is needed within the church for the edification of the church

Ephesians 4:7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift

CONSEQUENCES OF REJECTING CARRIERS OF GRACE

Matthew 23:37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 38 See! Your house is left to you desolate; 39 for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!”

Environments need to discern carriers of grace that are sent by the Lord for the benefit of that environment. Jesus prophesies the coming desolation of Jerusalem and the Temple because of the rejection of the grace of God packaged in the ones sent by the Lord.

FOLLOW THE MAN WITH THE PITCHER OF WATER

MARK 14:12 Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, “Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?” 13 And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. 14 Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?” 15 Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us.”

The two disciples were given an instruction by Jesus.  The instruction was precise and clear: ” Go into the city, and a man will meet you, carrying a pitcher of water, follow him” 

There is a specific man in the city, a human vessel, that has the grace to take you to a large room. We all  have to follow an assigned man. 

Don’t  follow just anyone. Don’t follow an flamboyant man. Don’t follow the man because he has  money or has  the gift of the gap.

 There is a specific man in the city that God has assigned  a man on to each one of us, to take us to an elevated room. A devine connection is ordained for us that will take us to greater heights in Christ. Have a keen eye  to what the man carries.

Elisha followed Elijah for 20 years from city to city, because he discerned Elijah had a particular grace.

Saul of Tarsus, who became Paul, did not know about Ananias that God had strategically placed in the city of Damascus to restore his sight and set him on a new trajectory.  Saul’s  Damascus experience needed the grace of a man in the city.

ACTS 9:6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” 7 And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one. 8 Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. 9 And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank. 10 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” 11 So the Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying. 12 And in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand on him, so that he might receive his sight.”

Cornelius, in ACTS 10, connected to Peter who took him into a new trajectory. This connection culminated in the salvation of his whole household.

The man carrying the pitcher of water has the grace for  your life. Water is a consistent metaphor for the Word of God.

ISAIAH 55:10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, 11 SO SHALL MY WORD BE that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in  the  thing for which I sent it.

The Word of God is doctrine. It is profitable for- teaching- instructions.

DEUTERONOMY 42:2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, My speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, And as the showers upon the grass.

The Word of God is Christ.  Christ the Word, is full of grace and truth.

The man carrying the pitcher of water, is a carrier of doctrine. Doctrine contains grace.

EPHESIANS 4:29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may IMPART GRACE to the hearers. 

Follow an authentic grace- carrier. The grace carried by the man takes you new heights  in Christ.

These days, people are not attracted to God’s Word. They are attracted to the gifts, to the mannerism of a man. Apostolic people are attracted by Apostolic doctrine.

In one of his visions, the prophet Ezekiel was shown the temple with water flowing beneath it’s threshold. This water is flowing in an easternly direction, through the valley, then into the sea.The water became a river and Ezekiel was brought into the river by a man. The man measured the depth of the waters four time. Each time he goes deeper and deeper until he had to swim in the water.

The “man” is not identified.but takes the prophet progressively deeper into the running waters.

The “man” we can call   “a Setman” who call us to the deeper waters, the living word. The “man” may also be Christ who want us to know Him more intimately.

EZEKIEL 47:1 Then he brought me back to the door of the temple; and there was water, flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple faced east; the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the altar. 2 He brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around on the outside to the outer gateway that faces east; and there was water, running out on the right side. 3 And when the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the water came  up  to  my ankles. 4 Again he measured one thousand and brought me through the waters; the water came  up  to  my knees. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through; the water came  up  to  my waist. 5 Again he measured one thousand, and  it  was a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed. 6 He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen this?” Then he brought me and returned me to the bank of the river

João 1:14 E o Verbo se fez carne e habitou entre nós, e vimos a sua glória, a glória como do unigênito do Pai, cheio de graça e de verdade.

1 João 1:1 O que era desde o princípio, o que ouvimos, o que vimos com os nossos olhos, o que contemplamos, e as nossas mãos apalparam, acerca do Verbo da vida, 2 a vida se manifestou, e nós vimos, e testificamos, e vos anunciamos a vida eterna que estava com o Pai e nos foi manifestada, 3 o que vimos e ouvimos, nós o declaramos a você, para que você também tenha comunhão conosco; e verdadeiramente nossa comunhão é com o Pai e com Seu Filho Jesus Cristo.

Nossos olhos podem ser contidos enquanto o Verbo encarnado caminha conosco. A Palavra pode estar conversando conosco sem que possamos discernir aquele que está falando como o “Homem com o Cântaro de Água”.

Lucas 24:16 Mas seus olhos foram impedidos, de modo que não o conheceram.

Seus olhos só se abriram quando Ele tomou o pão, abençoou-o, partiu-o e deu-o a eles.

CONEXÃO DE GRAÇA

A FONTE DA PLENITUDE DA GRAÇA E DA VERDADE É O SENHOR JESUS CRISTO.

João 1:14 E o Verbo se fez carne e habitou entre nós, e vimos a sua glória, a glória como do unigênito do Pai, cheio de graça e de verdade. 15 João deu testemunho dele e clamou, dizendo: “Este é aquele de quem eu disse: ‘Aquele que vem depois de mim é preferido a mim, porque já existia antes de mim’. 16 E todos nós recebemos da sua plenitude, e graça por graça.17 Porque a lei foi dada por meio de Moisés, mas a graça e a verdade vieram por meio de Jesus Cristo.

 

Um relacionamento com o Senhor Jesus Cristo é essencial para acessar a graça. Seus discípulos tiveram que perseguir Jesus para acessar a água no Cântaro (doutrina de Cristo)

Romanos 5:1 Tendo sido, pois, justificados pela fé, temos paz com Deus, por nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, 2 por meio do qual também temos acesso pela fé a esta graça em que estamos firmes, e nos gloriamos na esperança da glória de Deus.

Hebreus 4:14 Visto que temos um grande Sumo Sacerdote, Jesus, Filho de Deus, que penetrou nos céus, retenhamos firmemente a nossa confissão. 15 Porque não temos um sumo sacerdote que não se compadeça das nossas fraquezas, mas que em tudo foi tentado como nós, mas sem pecado. 16 Cheguemos, pois, com confiança ao trono da graça, para que possamos alcançar misericórdia e achar graça, a fim de sermos ajudados em tempo oportuno.

ACESSANDO A GRAÇA

O método de Deus, na maioria dos casos, de entregar a graça é através do vaso humano. Toda graça é necessária dentro da igreja para a edificação da igreja

CONSEQUÊNCIAS DA REJEIÇÃO DOS PORTADORES DA GRAÇA

Mateus 23:37 “Jerusalém, Jerusalém, aquela que mata os profetas e apedreja os que lhe são enviados! Quantas vezes quis ajuntar os vossos filhos, como a galinha ajunta os seus pintinhos debaixo das asas, mas vós não quiseste! 38 Veja! Sua casa foi deixada para você desolada; 39 Porque eu vos digo que não me vereis mais, até que digais: Bendito aquele que vem em nome do SENHOR.

Os ambientes precisam discernir os portadores da graça que são enviados pelo Senhor para o benefício desse ambiente. Jesus profetiza a desolação vindoura de Jerusalém e do Templo por causa da rejeição da graça de Deus embalada nos enviados pelo Senhor.

SIGA O HOMEM COM O JARRO DE ÁGUA

 MARCOS 14:12 No primeiro dia dos pães ázimos, quando imolaram o cordeiro pascal, disseram-lhe os seus discípulos: Onde queres que vamos e preparemos a páscoa? 13 E enviou dois dos seus discípulos, e disse-lhes: Ide à cidade, e vos encontrará um homem que carrega um cântaro de água; siga-o. 14 Onde quer que ele entrar, diga ao dono da casa: ‘O Mestre diz: ‘Onde está o quarto de hóspedes em que posso comer a Páscoa com os meus discípulos?’ 15 Então ele lhes mostrará um grande cenáculo, mobiliado e preparado; lá prepare-se para nós.

 Os dois discípulos receberam instruções de Jesus. A instrução era precisa e clara: “Vá para a cidade, e um homem irá ao seu encontro, carregando um cântaro de água, siga-o”

 Há um homem específico na cidade, um vaso humano, que tem a graça de levá-lo a uma grande sala. Todos nós temos que seguir um homem designado.

 Não siga qualquer um. Não siga um homem extravagante. Não siga o homem porque ele tem dinheiro ou tem o dom da lacuna.

 Há um homem específico na cidade que Deus designou um homem para cada um de nós, para nos levar a uma sala elevada. Uma conexão divina é ordenada para nós que nos levará a maiores alturas em Cristo. Tenha um olho atento ao que o homem carrega.

 Eliseu seguiu Elias por 20 anos de cidade em cidade, porque ele discerniu que Elias tinha uma graça particular.

 Saulo de Tarso, que se tornou Paulo, não sabia sobre Ananias que Deus havia colocado estrategicamente na cidade de Damasco para restaurar sua visão e colocá-lo em uma nova trajetória. A experiência de Saulo em Damasco precisava da graça de um homem na cidade.

 ATOS 9:6 E ele, tremendo e atônito, disse: Senhor, que queres que eu faça? Então o Senhor lhe disse: “Levante-se e vá para a cidade, e você será informado sobre o que deve fazer”. 7 E os homens que partiam com ele ficaram mudos, ouvindo uma voz, mas não vendo ninguém. 8 Então Saul se levantou da terra e, quando seus olhos se abriram, não viu ninguém.  O homem que carrega o cântaro de água tem a graça para sua vida. A água é uma metáfora consistente para a Palavra de Deus.

 ISAÍAS 55:10 Porque, assim como desce a chuva e a neve do céu, e não voltais para lá, mas rega a terra, e a faz produzir e brotar, para que dê semente ao semeador e pão ao que come, 11 ASSIM SERÁ A MINHA PALAVRA que sair da minha boca; Não voltará para mim vazio, mas fará o que me apraz, e prosperará naquilo para que o enviei.

 A Palavra de Deus é doutrina. É lucrativo para ensinar instruções.

 A Palavra de Deus é Cristo. Cristo, a Palavra, é cheio de graça e verdade.

 O homem que carrega o cântaro de água é um portador de doutrina. A doutrina contém graça.

 EFÉSIOS 4:29 Não saia da vossa boca nenhuma palavra torpe, mas a que for boa para a edificação necessária, para que transmita graça aos que a ouvem.

 Siga um autêntico portador da graça. A graça carregada pelo homem leva você a novas alturas em Cristo.

 Hoje em dia, as pessoas não são atraídas pela Palavra de Deus. Eles são atraídos pelos dons, pelo maneirismo de um homem. As pessoas apostólicas são atraídas pela doutrina apostólica.

 Em uma de suas visões, o profeta Ezequiel viu o templo com água fluindo abaixo de seu limiar. Esta água está fluindo na direção leste, através do vale, depois para o mar. A água tornou-se um rio e Ezequiel foi trazido para o rio por um homem. O homem mediu a profundidade das águas quatro vezes. Cada vez ele vai cada vez mais fundo até ter que nadar na água.

 O “homem” não é identificado, mas leva o profeta progressivamente mais fundo nas águas correntes.

 O “homem” que podemos chamar de “Setman” que nos chama para as águas mais profundas, a palavra viva. O “homem” também pode ser Cristo, que quer que O conheçamos mais intimamente.

 EZEQUIEL 47:1 Então me levou de volta à porta do templo; e havia água que corria de debaixo do limiar do templo para o leste, pois a frente do templo dava para o leste; A água fluía de debaixo do lado direito do templo, ao sul do altar. 2 Levou-me para fora pelo caminho da porta norte, e conduziu-me por fora, até à porta exterior, que dá para o oriente; e havia água, escorrendo para o lado direito. 3 E quando o homem saiu para o oriente com o cordel na mão, mediu mil côvados e me fez atravessar as águas; a água subiu até meus tornozelos. 4 Novamente ele mediu mil e me fez passar pelas águas; a água chegou aos meus joelhos. Isaiah 54:15 Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. 16 “Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire, Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy. 17  No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.

This promise of God, once again, demonstrates the mercy of God that followed the judgement of God. The people of God had endured the judgement of God in the Babylonian exile. God promises restoration to His covenant people; most importantly their dignity and identity as a people of God

REASON FOR THE EXILE IN BABYLON

The people of God, including the leaders of the priests had become apostate, practiced idol worship. They gave their attention to building fortified cities, palaces, temples for idols and fostering a materialistic mentality. They refused to listen to voices of the servants of God who were sent to them; and to make the situation even worse, they formed alliances with pagan nations like Egypt. The conclusion : “Israel had forgotten his Maker”

Hosea 8:14 “For Israel has forgotten his Maker, And has built temples; Judah also has multiplied fortified cities; But I will send fire upon his cities, And it shall devour his palaces.”

Sometimes, the Lord will raise the voices of His servants to remind His people who their Maker is. He is the Lord, the Christ, the husband of His wife the Church. He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. As His representatives we need to constantly reinforce the identity of the people of God. 

Isaiah 54:5 For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.

PRESENT DAY APPLICATION

The restoration of the covenantal promises of God to His servants after they have returned from exile demands a RESET in the minds of the people of God, especially His priesthood, His servants

The First and Great Commandment given by Jesus clarifies His zero tolerance for idolatry. The demand is absolute consecration. This is the reason we need the all sufficiency of the grace of the Lord Christ Jesus.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment.

THE BLACKSMITH AND THE ONE WHO CARRIES THE WEAPON OF DESTRUCTION HAVE BEEN CREATED BY GOD AND THEY ARE SUBMITTED TO HIS AUTHORITY AND HIS COMMANDS

Isaiah 54: 16 “Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire, Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy.

Both the blacksmith and the one who uses the weapon are submitted to the instructions of the Lord, their Creator. Recently we have been speaking about the Name of the Lord being our Righteous Tower of Safety, a place of Divine Protection and immunity for the righteous (Psalm 18:10)

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.

He is the Sovereign Lord; He is able to turn back the most ingenious, destructive weapon that has been formed by the blacksmith to cause harm to His righteous servants. The Lord has invested His Divine authority and power in His disciples to condemn every opposing voice of judgement against His covenantal people. The Lord has ensured that weapons created for the destruction of His covenantal people will not prosper. Our righteousness is not self righteousness; it is not created by our own doings; our righteousness is from the Lord Himself. The Lord is our Righteousness and our Peace. THE LORD IS OUR INHERITANCE 

Note : This does not nullify the demand for walking in practical righteousness and sanctifying ourselves daily. This is our desire and our mandate  – to become like Him so that we can reveal His image and represent Him.

No weapon formed against you will prevail!

Isaiah 54: ¹⁵ If anyone attacks you, it will not be my doing; everyone who attacks you will surrender to you.¹⁶ “See, I am the one who created the blacksmith, who blows the coals into a flame and forges a weapon fit for its purpose. And I am the one who created the destroyer to create chaos;¹⁷ no weapon formed against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is the vindication I give of their name,” declares the Lord.

A superficial view of this text indicates supernatural power and protection in our lives. This is not wrong. But we need to understand every aspect of the scripture to understand what the text truly says.

There is not just one protection. It speaks of reaction. Part of verse 17 says that you will refute every tongue that accuses you. I ask: How do we do this?

Our reaction to judgment or criticism must reflect our DNA. The DNA transformed in Christ Jesus. The best way to demonstrate this is to be the opposite of what is expected of us. Instead of reacting aggressively to the same extent as we are attacked, we demonstrate a godly character.

Most people who act this way are used by our opponent, the devil, and his intention is for us to have the same aggressive reaction… The target will always be us.

Ephesians 6:11-12 ¹¹ Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ¹² For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Our first reaction when faced with these forged weapons should be… Pray for them. So that they may find our Lord and Savior, because they are unaware that they are instruments of the devil and with this we demonstrate that we are instruments of God.

Matthew 7: ¹ “Judge not, that you be not judged. ² For in the same way you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

To truly benefit from Isaiah 54:17, we need to act as Christ wants us to. He is the righteous judge…Jesus fought back against the Devil through the Word. And when He was condemned, He was sacrificed like a lamb…

Living a life in Christ Jesus means that no guilt is found in our lives. And if they do, because sometimes we miss the mark, we ask for forgiveness, are forgiven, and demonstrate it by walking in newness of life.

No weapon formed against you will prevail! This is also a benefit received through faith in Christ Jesus, which comes through a reformed lifestyle, which goes from glory to glory.

The gospel needs to confront us. This discomfort leads us to be better than before (I say in comparison to ourselves, not in comparison to anyone else). person.) If Christ lives in you, your evolution must be constant.

PRAYER IS A WEAPON…….  WORSHIP IS A WEAPON… THE NAME OF JESUS, NAME ABOVE ALL NAME, IS THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPON…

Satan loves to divide places and people. One of the greatest strategies of warfare is: DIVIDE AND CONQUER.

He loves to divide marriages… He loves to divide families… He loves conflict at work… He loves to divide churches…

The stimulus for conflict comes from him. so that we remain divided……. Our reaction is to rise up against this.

Psalm 133: ¹ How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! ² It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, down to the collar of his garments. ³ It is like the dew of Hermon descending on Mount Zion. There the Lord bestows the blessing of life forever. Unity!  Unicity!

“Unity”: the quality of being one or singular, the union and agreement between people or parts, or the principle of measurement used as a reference (such as the number 1 or the meter). It is the characteristic of something that is unique, the cohesion of a group or elements that form a whole. Uniqueness is the quality or fact of being unique, that is, the characteristic that makes something or someone different from all others.

The war is already won in the name of JESUS. As Billy Graham said, “I read the last page of the Bible, everything will be fine.” However, we face daily challenges and battles that must be won by the Word.

Our stance toward these battles will enable us to say: “NO WEAPON FORGED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER!”

Essa promessa de Deus, mais uma vez, demonstra a misericórdia de Deus que se seguiu ao julgamento de Deus. O povo de Deus suportou o julgamento de Deus no exílio babilônico. Deus promete restauração ao Seu povo da aliança; mais importante ainda, sua dignidade e identidade como povo de Deus

MOTIVO DO EXÍLIO EM BABILÔNIA

O povo de Deus, incluindo os líderes dos sacerdotes, tornou-se apóstata, praticava a adoração de ídolos. Eles deram sua atenção à construção de cidades fortificadas, palácios, templos para ídolos e à promoção de uma mentalidade materialista. Eles se recusaram a ouvir as vozes dos servos de Deus que lhes foram enviados; e para piorar ainda mais a situação, eles formaram alianças com nações pagãs como o Egito. A conclusão: “Israel se esqueceu de seu Criador”

Às vezes, o Senhor levanta a voz de Seus servos para lembrar a Seu povo quem é seu Criador. Ele é o Senhor, o Cristo, o marido de Sua esposa, a Igreja. Ele é o Senhor dos céus e da terra. Como Seus representantes, precisamos reforçar constantemente a identidade do povo de Deus.

APLICAÇÃO ATUAL

A restauração das promessas da aliança de Deus aos Seus servos depois que eles voltaram do exílio exige um RESET nas mentes do povo de Deus, especialmente Seu sacerdócio, Seus servos

O Primeiro e Grande Mandamento dado por Jesus esclarece Sua tolerância zero para a idolatria. A exigência é a consagração absoluta. Esta é a razão pela qual precisamos de toda a suficiência da graça do Senhor Cristo Jesus.

Tanto o ferreiro quanto aquele que usa a arma são submetidos às instruções do Senhor, seu Criador. Recentemente, temos falado sobre o Nome do Senhor ser nossa Torre Justa de Segurança, um lugar de Proteção Divina e imunidade para os justos (Salmo 18:10)

Nenhuma arma forjada contra você prevalecerá!

Isaías 54: ¹⁵ Se alguém te atacar, não será obra minha; todos os que te atacarem se renderão a ti.¹⁶ “Veja, fui eu quem criou o ferreiro, que transforma as brasas em chamas e forja uma arma adequada para o seu propósito. E fui eu quem criou o destruidor para criar o caos; ¹⁷ Nenhumaarma forjada contra ti prevalecerá, e tu refutarás toda língua que te acusar. Esta é a herança dos servos do Senhor, e esta é a vindicação que dou do seu nome”, declara o Senhor.

Uma visão superficial deste texto indica poder sobrenatural e proteção em nossas vidas. Isso não está errado. Mas precisamos entender todos os aspectos da escritura para entender o que o texto realmente diz.

Não existe apenas uma proteção. Fala de reação. Parte do versículo 17 diz que você refutará toda língua que o acusar. Eu pergunto: Como fazemos isso?

Nossa reação ao julgamento ou crítica deve refletir nosso DNA. O DNA transformado em Cristo Jesus. A melhor maneira de demonstrar isso é ser o oposto do que se espera de nós. Em vez de reagir agressivamente na mesma medida em que somos atacados, demonstramos um caráter piedoso.

A maioria das pessoas que agem dessa maneira são usadas por nosso oponente, o diabo, e sua intenção é que tenhamos a mesma reação agressiva… O alvo sempre seremos nós.

Efésios 6:11-12 ¹¹ Revesti-vos de toda a armadura de Deus, para que possais resistir às ciladas do diabo. ¹² Porque a nossa luta não é contra carne e sangue, mas contra os príncipes, contra as autoridades, contra os poderes deste mundo tenebroso, contra as forças espirituais do mal nas regiões celestiais.

Nossa primeira reação quando confrontados com essas armas forjadas deve ser… Ore por eles. Para que encontrem nosso Senhor e Salvador, porque não sabem que são instrumentos do diabo e com isso demonstramos que somos instrumentos de Deus.

Mateus 7: ¹ “Não julgueis, para que não sejais julgados. ² Pois da mesma forma que julgardes, sereis julgados; e com a medida que usardes, vos será medida.”

Para realmente nos beneficiarmos de Isaías 54:17, precisamos agir como Cristo quer que façamos. Ele é o justo juiz… Jesus lutou contra o Diabo através da Palavra. E quando Ele foi condenado, Ele foi sacrificado como um cordeiro…

Viver uma vida em Cristo Jesus significa que nenhuma culpa é encontrada em nossas vidas. E se o fizerem, porque às vezes erramos o alvo, pedimos perdão, somos perdoados e demonstramos isso caminhando em novidade de vida.

Nenhuma arma forjada contra você prevalecerá! Este também é um benefício recebido pela fé em Cristo Jesus, que vem por meio de um estilo de vida reformado, que vai de glória em glória.

O evangelho precisa nos confrontar. Esse desconforto nos leva a ser melhores do que antes (digo em comparação com nós mesmos, não em comparação com qualquer outra pessoa). pessoa.) Se Cristo vive em você, sua evolução deve ser constante.

E Deus está satisfeito com sua demonstração, mesmo que seja apenas um pouco! A qualidade dessa atitude é AMAR A DEUS ACIMA DE TODAS AS COISAS. Ao demonstrar esse amor, você será capaz de dizer: “NENHUMA ARMA FORJADA CONTRA MIM PROSPERARÁ!”

Abra sua vida completamente para Deus. Seus planos são infinitamente maiores do que os nossos.

2 Coríntios 10: ³ Pois, embora vivamos na sociedade humana, não fazemos guerra como os homens. ⁴ As armas com as quais lutamos não são armas humanas, mas são poderosas por meio de Deus para derrubar fortalezas.

A ORAÇÃO É UMA ARMA……. A ADORAÇÃO É UMA ARMA… O NOME DE JESUS, NOME ACIMA DE TODO NOME, É A ARMA MAIS PODEROSA…

Satanás adora dividir lugares e pessoas. Uma das maiores estratégias de guerra é: DIVIDIR E CONQUISTAR.

Ele adora dividir casamentos… Ele adora dividir famílias… Ele adora conflitos no trabalho… Ele adora dividir igrejas…

O estímulo para o conflito vem dele. para que permaneçamos divididos……. Nossa reação é nos levantarmos contra isso.

Salmo 133: ¹ Como é bom e agradável quando os irmãos vivem juntos em unidade! ² É como óleo precioso derramado sobre a cabeça, escorrendo sobre a barba, a barba de Arão, até a gola de suas vestes. ³ É como o orvalho do Hermom descendo sobre o Monte Sião. Lá o Senhor concede a bênção da vida para sempre. 

Unidade! Unicidade!

“Unidade”: a qualidade de ser um ou singular, a união e concordância entre pessoas ou partes, ou o princípio de medida usado como referência (como o número 1 ou o metro). É a característica de algo que é único, a coesão de um grupo ou elementos que formam um todo. Singularidade é a qualidade ou fato de ser único, ou seja, a característica que torna algo ou alguém diferente de todos os outros.

A guerra já está vencida em nome de JESUS. Como Billy Graham disse: “Eu li a última página da Bíblia, tudo ficará bem”. No entanto, enfrentamos diariamente desafios e batalhas que devem ser vencidas pela Palavra.

Nossa postura em relação a essas batalhas nos habilitará a dizer: “NENHUMA ARMA FORJADA CONTRA MIM PROSPERARÁ!”

The vision for discipling nations applies to all believers.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

The great sending of the disciples of the Lord was authorised from the throne of God by Jesus Himself. The purpose of the sending by the Lord is ……

• to make disciples of all the nations
• Baptise them in the Name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit
• Teach them all the commands of the Lord

Obedience to these three instructions will keep the disciple in His Presence always as well as being faithful to the apostolic mandate entrusted to the disciple.

The disciples who were taught by Paul at the school of Tyrannus were responsible for taking the Word of the Lord to both Jews and Greeks in all of Asia.

Acts 19:8 And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading concerning the things of the kingdom of God. 9 But when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil of the Way before the multitude, he departed from them and withdrew the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus. 10 And this continued for two years, so that all who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

GREEKS WANT TO SEE JESUS

John 12:20 Now there were certain Greeks among those who came up to worship at the feast. 21 Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.”

The targeted audience for receiving the gospel was wide; it went beyond the Jews to reach the Gentiles, which included the Greeks. The Greeks seeking Jesus is of great prophetic significance. The Greeks  symbolise wisdom, philosophy and human intellect among other things. Now, they have come  to “see Jesus”. Greeks are now, as prophesied, are seeking after Christ, the wisdom of God

1 Corinthians 1:22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

This is what Isaiah prophesied concerning Jesus …….

Isaiah 49:6 Indeed He says, ‘It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”

The Pharisees observed that the “world has gone after Jesus”. This confirms the prophetic Word by Isaiah that Jesus will be a Light to the Gentiles. 

John 12:19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, “You see that you are accomplishing nothing. Look, the world has gone after Him!”

The apostle Paul makes a clear statement declaring that all ethnic, racial, gender, slave nor free and linguistic differences are all overshadowed by a person’s faith in Christ. 

Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

From this we understand the importance of the sending of disciples into all the nations. 

Abortion of this vision occurs when we have not prioritised witnessing and discipling of believers. The Word of the Lord is the entrustment that the Lord has given to His disciples. 

The disciples are spiritually vitalised and energised when they walk in obedience to the instructions of Jesus to be witnesses outside the local, familiar gathering.

Luke 10:17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” 18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

Fulfilling the mandate to go and disciple nations revealed not only the Divine authority they carried but also their Divine empowerment. Jesus said that He witnessed satan fall like lightning from heaven. 

Jesus was unable to do many miracles in Nazareth because the people saw Him in the natural, as the carpenter’s son, as a local citizen.

Matthew 13:54 When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? 55 Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? 56 And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?” 57 So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.” 58 Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Jesus declares that the spirit of unbelief and familiarity in his home town hindered the number of miracles done there.

Aborting the Vision 

We are living in a time of a gospel of uncommitted, disobedient, mystical people, and many without commitment to the truth.

Leaders are creating worldly strategies to attract people and swell churches for profit.

They have aborted the principles of Acts 2:42: the breaking of bread, prayer, and fellowship.

They had everything in common; there was love among all, and the Lord added to the Church those who needed to be saved.

A genuine church grows without using far-fetched strategies. It relies solely on Agape Love among its brothers and sisters. Where everyone practices

Obedience, Love, Peace, and Fellowship—these are the virtues of a God-Centered Church, for all these positions are attributes of God and a reflection of His Character.

These are examples of a church that fulfills all stages of gestation, enjoying the Peace and joy of the Lord.

A church that does not abort its vision because it understands the purpose of being faithful until death, for its reward will be the crown of life.

A church that grows in maturity is not easily deceived, is not divided by opinions, is not divided, and is not carried away by spiritual fads. It stands firm because each member knows who they are, to whom they belong, and where they are going.

Isaiah 26:17-18 gives us the example of a woman (church) who has all the symptoms of pregnancy, but at the moment of birth, the result is wind.

A church that goes through all the stages but is neither the salt of the earth nor the light of the world. How can it bring salvation to the earth? By acting this way, it will be aborting the purpose for which God sent His Son: His Death and Resurrection would bring us salvation, freeing us from sin and judgment.

Ezekiel 19:10-14. It tells us about a mother (church) symbolizing a vineyard planted by water that was fruitful and full of branches. Thanks to the abundant waters, its branches were strong and it grew greatly. It attracted attention for its height, but it was furiously knocked down and uprooted by an east wind, stripping its fruit.

We see here an aborted pregnancy.

BUT HOW?

If it was planted by water, many waters. (Symbol of the word of God). Yet it was uprooted by a strong wind.

WHY?  This church preached the word, but its roots were shallow and not rooted in the Rock. CHRIST (Isaiah 5:1-7)

God’s purposes and care for the nation of Israel and its people. He took care to plant the vineyard in a fertile area, cleared the entire land, and selected the best vines. He built a winepress and posted a sentry to watch for possible attacks or pests. So I expected it to yield good grapes, but it only yielded sour grapes. What else could I have done for it that I hadn’t done?

The nation of Israel and its inhabitants, whom He loved, (aborted God’s vision and purposes.)

A lack of righteousness, justice, integrity, and faithfulness brings sadness in the eyes of the Lord.

It’s no different today. Zealous parents who care well for their homes and families are also saddened when their children miscarry.

They abandon their home and family, and then it’s discovered that it was a fake pregnancy.

If true Doctrine (Word) is being ministered, what we need is to obey, live, and preach this Word.

James 1: 22 Be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his own face in a mirror; 24 And after admiring himself, he goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and continues in it—he is not a forgetful hearer but a zealous doer—he will be blessed in whatever he undertakes.

FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS ALWAYS FRUITFUL. IF A WORD FAILS AND DOES NOT BEAR FRUIT, IT IS NOT THE WORD OF THE LORD.

O grande envio dos discípulos do Senhor foi autorizado do trono de Deus pelo próprio Jesus. O propósito do envio do Senhor é ……

• Para fazer discípulos de todas as nações

• Batize-os em Nome do Pai, do Filho e do Espírito Santo

• Ensine-lhes todos os mandamentos do Senhor

A obediência a essas três instruções manterá o discípulo sempre em Sua Presença, além de ser fiel ao mandato apostólico confiado ao discípulo.

Os discípulos que foram ensinados por Paulo na escola de Tirano foram responsáveis por levar a Palavra do Senhor a judeus e gregos em toda a Ásia.

Atos 19:8 E entrou na sinagoga e falou ousadamente por três meses, arrazoando e persuadindo acerca das coisas do reino de Deus. 9 Mas, quando alguns se endureceram e não creram, mas falaram mal do Caminho diante da multidão, ele se afastou deles e retirou os discípulos, arrazoando todos os dias na escola de Tirano. 10 E isso durou dois anos, de modo que todos os que habitavam na Ásia ouviram a palavra do Senhor Jesus, tanto judeus como gregos.

OS GREGOS QUEREM VER JESUS

 João 12:20 Ora, havia alguns gregos entre os que subiam para adorar na festa. 21 Então foram ter com Filipe, que era de Betsaida da Galiléia, e perguntaram-lhe, dizendo: Senhor, queremos ver Jesus.

O público-alvo para receber o evangelho era amplo; foi além dos judeus para alcançar os gentios, que incluíam os gregos. Os gregos buscando Jesus são de grande significado profético. Os gregos simbolizam sabedoria, filosofia e intelecto humano, entre outras coisas. Agora, eles vieram para “ver Jesus”. Os gregos estão agora, como profetizado, buscando a Cristo, a sabedoria de Deus

1 Coríntios 1:22 Pois os judeus pedem um sinal, e os gregos buscam sabedoria; 23 mas nós pregamos a Cristo crucificado, escândalo para os judeus, e loucura para os gregos, 24 mas para os que são chamados, tanto judeus como gregos, Cristo, poder de Deus e sabedoria de Deus. 25 Porque a loucura de Deus é mais sábia do que os homens, e a fraqueza de Deus é mais forte do que os homens.

Isso é o que Isaías profetizou a respeito de Jesus …….

Isaías 49:6 Na verdade, Ele diz: ‘É muito pequeno que você seja meu servo para levantar as tribos de Jacó e restaurar os preservados de Israel; Eu também te darei como luz aos gentios, para que sejas a minha salvação até os confins da terra.”

Os fariseus observaram que o “mundo foi após Jesus”. Isso confirma a Palavra profética de Isaías de que Jesus será uma Luz para os gentios.

João 12:19 Disseram, pois, os fariseus entre si: Vedes que nada realizais. Veja, o mundo foi atrás dele!”

O apóstolo Paulo faz uma declaração clara declarando que todas as diferenças étnicas, raciais, de gênero, de escravos ou livres e linguísticas são todas ofuscadas pela fé de uma pessoa em Cristo.

Gálatas 3:26 Porque todos vós sois filhos de Deus pela fé em Cristo Jesus. 27 Pois todos quantos fostes batizados em Cristo vos revestistes de Cristo. 28 Não há judeu nem grego, não há escravo nem livre, não há homem nem mulher; pois todos vós sois um em Cristo Jesus.

A partir disso, entendemos a importância do envio de discípulos a todas as nações.

O aborto dessa visão ocorre quando não priorizamos o testemunho e o discipulado dos crentes. A Palavra do Senhor é a entrega que o Senhor deu aos seus discípulos.

Os discípulos são espiritualmente vitalizados e energizados quando caminham em obediência às instruções de Jesus para serem testemunhas fora da reunião local e familiar.

Lucas 10:17 Então os setenta voltaram com alegria, dizendo: “Senhor, até os demônios estão sujeitos a nós em teu nome”. 18 E disse-lhes: Vi Satanás cair do céu como um relâmpago. 19 Eis que vos dou autoridade para pisar serpentes e escorpiões, e sobre todo o poder do inimigo, e nada vos fará mal algum. 20 No entanto, não se alegrem com isso, que os espíritos estão sujeitos a vocês, mas alegrem-se porque seus nomes estão escritos no céu.

Cumprir o mandato de ir e discipular nações revelou não apenas a autoridade divina que carregavam, mas também sua capacitação divina. Jesus disse que testemunhou satanás cair como um relâmpago do céu.

Jesus não pôde fazer muitos milagres em Nazaré porque as pessoas o viam no natural, como filho do carpinteiro, como cidadão local.

Mateus 13:54 E, chegando à sua terra, ensinava-os na sinagoga, de modo que se maravilhavam e diziam: Onde obteve este homem esta sabedoria e estes milagres? 55 Não é este o filho do carpinteiro? Sua mãe não se chama Maria? E Seus irmãos Tiago, José, Simão e Judas? 56 E suas irmãs, não estão todas conosco? Onde então este homem conseguiu todas essas coisas?” 57 E escandalizaram-se dele. Mas Jesus lhes disse: “Um profeta não fica sem honra senão em sua própria terra e em sua própria casa”. 58 Ora, Ele não fez ali muitos milagres por causa da incredulidade deles.

Jesus declara que o espírito de incredulidade e familiaridade em sua cidade natal impediu o número de milagres feitos lá.

 Abortando a visão 

 Estamos vivendo em uma época de um evangelho de pessoas descomprometidas, desobedientes, místicas e muitas sem compromisso com a verdade.

Os líderes estão criando estratégias mundanas para atrair pessoas e aumentar as igrejas para obter lucro.

Eles abortaram os princípios de Atos 2:42: o partir do pão, a oração e a comunhão.

Eles tinham tudo em comum; havia amor entre todos, e o Senhor acrescentou à Igreja aqueles que precisavam ser salvos.

Uma igreja genuína cresce sem usar estratégias rebuscadas. Ele se baseia exclusivamente no Amor Ágape entre seus irmãos e irmãs. Onde todos praticam

Obediência, Amor, Paz e Companheirismo – essas são as virtudes de uma Igreja Centrada em Deus, pois todas essas posições são atributos de Deus e um reflexo de Seu Caráter.

Estes são exemplos de uma igreja que cumpre todas as etapas da gestação, desfrutando da Paz e da alegria do Senhor.

Uma igreja que não aborta sua visão porque entende o propósito de ser fiel até a morte, pois sua recompensa será a coroa da vida.

Uma igreja que cresce em maturidade não é facilmente enganada, não está dividida por opiniões, não está dividida e não se deixa levar por modismos espirituais. Ele permanece firme porque cada membro sabe quem é, a quem pertence e para onde está indo.

Isaías 26:17-18 nos dá o exemplo de uma mulher (igreja) que tem todos os sintomas da gravidez, mas no momento do nascimento, o resultado é o vento.

Uma igreja que passa por todos os estágios, mas não é nem o sal da terra nem a luz do mundo. Como pode trazer salvação à Terra? Agindo assim, estará abortando o propósito para o qual Deus enviou Seu Filho: Sua Morte e Ressurreição nos trariam a salvação, libertando-nos do pecado e do julgamento.

Ezequiel 19:10-14. Fala-nos de uma mãe (igreja) que simboliza uma vinha plantada junto à água que era fecunda e cheia de ramos. Graças às águas abundantes, seus galhos eram fortes e crescia muito. Atraiu a atenção por sua altura, mas foi furiosamente derrubado e arrancado por um vento leste, arrancando seus frutos.

Vemos aqui uma gravidez abortada.

MAS COMO?

Se foi plantado pela água, muitas águas. (Símbolo da palavra de Deus). No entanto, foi arrancado por um vento forte.

Por quê? Esta igreja pregou a palavra, mas suas raízes eram superficiais e não estavam enraizadas na Rocha. CRISTO (Isaías 5:1-7)

Os propósitos e o cuidado de Deus para com a nação de Israel e seu povo. Ele teve o cuidado de plantar a vinha em uma área fértil, limpou toda a terra e selecionou as melhores vinhas. Ele construiu um lagar e colocou uma sentinela para vigiar possíveis ataques ou pragas. Então eu esperava que rendesse boas uvas, mas só rendeu uvas azedas. O que mais eu poderia ter feito por isso que não tinha feito?

A nação de Israel e seus habitantes, a quem Ele amava, (abortaram a visão e os propósitos de Deus).

A falta de retidão, justiça, integridade e fidelidade traz tristeza aos olhos do Senhor.

Não é diferente hoje. Pais zelosos que cuidam bem de sua casa e família também ficam tristes quando seus filhos abortam.

Eles abandonam sua casa e família, e então descobre-se que foi uma gravidez falsa.

Se a verdadeira Doutrina (Palavra) está sendo ministrada, o que precisamos é obedecer, viver e pregar esta Palavra.

Tiago 1:22 Sede cumpridores da palavra, e não apenas ouvintes, enganando-vos a vós mesmos. 23 Pois, se alguém é ouvinte da palavra e não praticante, é semelhante a um homem que olha para o seu próprio rosto no espelho; 24 E depois de se admirar, ele vai embora e imediatamente se esquece de sua aparência. 25 Mas quem olha atentamente para a lei perfeita, a lei da liberdade, e permanece nela – não é ouvinte esquecido, mas zeloso – será abençoado em tudo o que empreender.

POIS A PALAVRA DE DEUS É SEMPRE FECUNDA. SE UMA PALAVRA FALHA E NÃO DÁ FRUTO, NÃO É A PALAVRA DO SENHOR.

In our spiritual journey, when we are subject to a multitude of voices, we become vulnerable to embrace the spirit of the age. During these times it may be necessary to do a hard reset or a master reset so that our operating system can return to its original Divine settings. We need to disconnect the operation from the power that energises the system

I would like to present my perspective on our responsibility to represent Divine Justice 

Psalms 89:14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face (NKJV)

The original King James Version reads …… Psalms 89:14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

Justice and Judgement are the dwelling place and the bedrock of the Throne of the Lord. (This is an unchanging reality, irrespective of times and seasons)

The Lord is our High Priest and the righteous Judge of the whole earth. As the royal priesthood of the Lord, we need to represent and reveal His righteousness and His integrity in our judgements within our sphere of authority.

Hebrew word for Justice ṣeḏeq: A masculine noun meaning a right relation to an ethical or legal standard. The Hebrew word occurs most often in the Psalms and Isaiah. The word is frequently connected with the term justice (Psalm 119:106; Isaiah 58:2). Kings, judges, and other leaders were to execute their duties based on righteous standards (Deuteronomy 1:16; Proverbs 8:15; Isaiah 32:1). God Himself acts in righteousness both in judgment and deliverance (Psalms 119:75, 160; Isaiah 51:5; 62:1). (Extracted from Complete Word Study Bible)

Hebrew word for Judgement  mišpāṭ: A masculine noun meaning a judgment, a legal decision, a legal case, a claim, proper, rectitude. The word connotes several variations in meanings depending on the context. It is used to describe a legal decision or judgment rendered: it describes a legal decision given by God to be followed by the people (Isaiah 58:2; Zephaniah 2:3; Malachi 2:17). These decisions could come through the use of the Urim and Thummim (Numbers 27:21). The high priest wore a pouch called the breastpiece of justice, containing the Urim and Thummim by which decisions were obtained from the Lord (Exodus 28:30). Doing what was right and just in the Lord’s eyes was far more important than presenting sacrifices to Him (Genesis 18:19; Proverbs 21:3, 15). God was declared to be the Judge of the whole earth who rendered justice faithfully (Extracted from Complete Word Study Bible)

Very early in His ministry, Jesus clarifies one of his important mandates. He makes a clear declaration regarding the anointing that is upon Him to preach the gospel for the deliverance of a specific demographic. This demographic constitutes the poor, the brokenhearted, the captives, the blind and the oppressed. He enters the synagogue at Nazareth, a city where He was brought up. 

 Luke 4:16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read 17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: 18 “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; 19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”

In the natural we understand the significance of important days in the South African calendar like 27 April which has been declared as Freedom Day. It commemorates our first free elections as South Africans as well as the unveiling of our New Constitution that protects our emancipation from oppressive, prejudicial and discriminatory laws.

Although the book of Isaiah was handed to Jesus, it was Jesus who found the place where Isaiah had prophesied of Him (Isaiah 61). Jesus specifically referred to this scripture because He was able to discern the prevailing spirit of social prejudice in the synagogue. Jesus is unveiling the resident anointing in the gospel that is able to bring deliverance to this demographic. Jesus declared His intent to preach the gospel to usher in the new season of reform and migration in the synagogue.

As far as this demographic was concerned, this was their Freedom Day, freedom from systemic injustice, freedom from being marginalised while worshipping God  in the synagogue.  Jesus declares “today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing” (Verse 21). Jesus is declaring openly that He is able to do in one day for that which you have waited expectantly for 50 years. Jesus is boldly declaring in a hostile, religious, orthodox, conservative environment that He is the One, the Messiah, the Jubilee that the earth has been waiting for – to bring salvation, freedom, and healing to those who have been marginalised by societal injustice. 

The Jubilee is the time for a “hard/master” reset in Israel. It includes, among other things, the restoration of land, the liberation of all indentured servants and slaves, an economic reset where all debts were forgiven. Isaiah prophesied this  DURING HIS TIME In any country, in any season, in any century this demographic has always existed.  They would find themselves subject to oppressive regimes, systems and governments, eventually becoming vassals of those regimes. As an example we can study the captivity and displacement of the Israelites under an oppressive Assyrian regime.

THIS DEMOGRAPHIC BECOMES VULNERABLE TO THE ATTACKS OF THE ENEMY

In Biblical times we will find enemies of God’s people who target this particular demographic. The Amalekites were notorious for attacking the most vulnerable, the feeble and the stragglers; ambushing them from the rear

The Divine justice of God, released from the courts of heaven, is to totally erase this enemy, including its livestock from the face of the earth.

Deuteronomy 25:17 “Remember what Amalek did to you on the way as you were coming out of Egypt, 18 how he met you on the way and attacked your rear ranks, all the stragglers at your rear, when you were tired and weary; and he did not fear God. 19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD your God has given you rest from your enemies all around, in the land which the LORD your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance, that you will blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. You shall not forget.

Believers constitute the royal priesthood. Jesus is our King and our High Priest. As His representatives, we have the mandatory obligation to reveal His integrity, His righteousness, His image and His likeness in our judgements.

DIVINE JUSTICE HAD TO BE REVEALED IN THE JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATION OF MOSES

Jethro gives Moses counsel in leading millions of people in the wilderness.

Exodus 18:19 Listen now to my voice; I will give you counsel, and God will be with you: Stand before God for the people, so that you may bring the difficulties to God. 20 And you shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do. 21 Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. 22 And let them judge the people at all times. Then it will be that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they themselves shall judge. So it will be easier for you, for they will bear the burden with you.

Jethro, the father in law of Moses, gives Moses in Verse 21 four mandatory attributes that the leader must possess :

Ability Fear of the Lord Men of truth Haters of Covetousness 

Moses addresses the people of God and brings greater clarity in his expectations from the judiciary that is appointed to reflect the elements of Divine justice in their judgements.

Deuteronomy 1:16 “Then I commanded your judges at that time, saying, ‘Hear the cases between your brethren, and judge righteously between a man and his brother or the stranger who is with him. 17 You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small as well as the great; you shall not be afraid in any man’s presence, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too hard for you, bring to me, and I will hear it.’

Leviticus 19:15 ‘You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbor.

Moses declares these mandatory requirements from the judiciary in the quest for righteous Divine judgements

1. judge righteously 2. absolute impartiality   3. both small and the great, the poor and the wealthy, will receive a fair hearing 4. resist all forms of intimidation and threats from any person that could potentially impede righteous, Divine judgement  5. in the event of any difficulties experienced in arriving at a righteous judgement, the matter can be escalated to Moses for review 

Divine judgements must not be confused with  the judgements of our courts on the earth. We all know that globally, there are some judiciaries that are vulnerable to corruption, serious intimidation and partiality towards the wealthy and the affluent. These cities are reflected in the parable of the Unjust Judge, that symbolises a judiciary that does not fear God or man. (Luke 18:1-8) The overreaching message of this parable is that the “elect of God” must escalate their appeal for justice by persistently appealing to a higher Divine court that is guided by His righteous laws in His Word to intervene inorder to receive a righteous judgement. The reason we will refer to the Mosaic laws is because Jesus referred to Isaiah’s prophecy about the coming Messiah ….. during a time where cities of refuge were appointed for the execution of righteous justice. Isaiah’s prophecy brought hope and consolation to the people of God who badly needed Divine justice. The Lord instructed Moses and later Joshua to appoint six cities of refuge 

Numbers 35 reveals the importance of a righteous, fair, impartial judiciary that would reflect an ethical, Divine standard that would align itself to the Word of the Lord. These cities were governed and administrated by the Levites. Among other duties, the Levites were responsible for preparing offerings, they served as judges as well as teaching and instructing the people in the laws, statutes and commandments of the Lord.

The Levites were perfectly suited because they were not covetous. They have no interest in property ownership. The inheritance of the Levite is the Lord. This makes them trustworthy mediators and credible representatives to deliver righteous Divine justice.

As we said, believers in this season constitute the royal priesthood. We have prioritised the Word of the Lord. The principles for righteous judgement are extracted from the Word of the Lord.

THE APPOINTMENT OF SIX CITIES OF REFUGE It is necessary to examine the justice system in Israel that would confer protection, safety and the right to a fair trial in accordance to the mandatory requirements that are mentioned in this article concerning the credibility of the judiciary.

Numbers 35:9 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan, 11 then you shall appoint cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the manslayer who kills any person accidentally may flee there. 12 They shall be cities of refuge for you from the avenger, that the manslayer may not die until he stands before the congregation in judgment. 13 And of the cities which you give, you shall have six cities of refuge. 14 You shall appoint three cities on this side of the Jordan, and three cities you shall appoint in the land of Canaan, which will be cities of refuge. 15 These six cities shall be for refuge for the children of Israel, for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them, that anyone who kills a person accidentally may flee there.

The six cities appointed as “cities of refuge” are Golan, Ramoth, and Bosor to the east (left bank) of the Jordan River; and Kedesh, Shechem, and Hebron on the western (right) side.

These cities, governed by the Levites, offered the Israelite a fair trial and more importantly safety from the avenger of the manslayer who demanded the blood of the manslayer.

These cities of refuge provided immunity and safety for the Israelites and the stranger from being subject to “mob justice” and being killed on the street by blood thirsty vigilante gangs.  

These cities represent both the “justice and mercy of God” not only for the people of God but also for the stranger who dwelt in their midst.

Both plaintiff and defendant were given access to legal process that is fair, impartial and without prejudice. As representatives of the Lord, the Levites in these cities were fully aware of their Divine mandate to deliver righteous judgements. 

Christ is our High Priest  In this present day, we carry the burden of responsibility of the royal priesthood; our righteous judgements need to reveal the Divine justice and mercies of the Lord. We must become the “city of refuge”, the Name of the Lord that is a strong tower where the righteous run in and they are saved.

THE STRONG TOWER OF THE LORD  How do we reconfigure cities to become “safe cities” or “cities of refuge”

Here are some possible solutions? What is required is a HARD RESET – A MASTER RESET

This is much more than just rebooting. This involves wiping the entire system clean, except for the essential information 

Apply every doctrine, without partiality or prejudice, in its entirety, to everyone, to the poor as well as the wealthy; to the small as well as the great

A hard Reset is required on Mentoring/Teaching platforms

Many of us have our schools, Forums and tables where we teach and mentor believers from various houses. I recommend that we adopt the Naomi/Ruth/Boaz model

This model uses Boaz as a type of spiritual father in his house (church of Boaz) Naomi is the mentor (teacher) Ruth is the spiritual son (student/mentee)

If applied correctly this model will bring into the church of Boaz (local church)

• spiritual sons who function at an advanced level of covenanting that may even supercede and eclipse biological sonship
• spiritual sons to the local church that are better than seven sons; unshakeable supporting  pillars in the local church

THE HARD RESET WILL ALSO BRING BACK THE MERCY OF GOD

We see the judgement of the Lord in the life of David when 70000 people died because of David numbering the people 

We also see the MERCY OF GOD activated when the Lord said to the angel ….. “It is enough; now restrain your hand.” 

Divine Judgement and the mercy of the Lord are siblings. 

1 Chronicles 21:14 So the LORD sent a plague upon Israel, and seventy thousand men of Israel fell. 15 And God sent an angel to Jerusalem to destroy it. As he was destroying, the LORD looked and relented of the disaster, and said to the angel who was destroying, “It is enough; now restrain your hand.” And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. 16 Then David lifted his eyes and saw the angel of the LORD standing between earth and heaven, having in his hand a drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem. So David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell on their faces. 17 And David said to God, “Was it not I who commanded the people to be numbered? I am the one who has sinned and done evil indeed; but these sheep, what have they done? Let Your hand, I pray, O LORD my God, be against me and my father’s house, but not against Your people that they should be plagued.”

Many believe that it was David who wrote Psalm 119. Pay attention to his words ……..

Psalms 119:164-165
Seven times a day I praise You,
Because of Your righteous judgments.
165 Great peace have those who love Your law,
And nothing causes them to stumble.

A Justiça e o Juízo são a morada e o alicerce do Trono do Senhor. (Esta é uma realidade imutável, independentemente dos tempos e estações)

O Senhor é nosso Sumo Sacerdote e o justo Juiz de toda a terra. Como sacerdócio real do Senhor, precisamos representar e revelar Sua justiça e Sua integridade em nossos julgamentos dentro de nossa esfera de autoridade.

É usado para descrever uma decisão legal ou julgamento proferido: descreve uma decisão legal dada por Deus para ser seguida pelo povo (Isaías 58:2; Sofonias 2:3; Malaquias 2:17). Essas decisões podem vir por meio do uso do Urim e Tumim (Números 27:21). O sumo sacerdote usava uma bolsa chamada peitoral da justiça, contendo o Urim e Tumim pelos quais as decisões eram obtidas do Senhor (Êxodo 28:30). Fazer o que era certo e justo aos olhos do Senhor era muito mais importante do que apresentar sacrifícios a Ele (Gênesis 18:19; Provérbios 21:3, 15). Muito cedo em Seu ministério, Jesus esclarece um de seus importantes mandatos. Ele faz uma declaração clara sobre a unção que está sobre Ele para pregar o evangelho para a libertação de um grupo demográfico específico. Esse grupo demográfico constitui os pobres, os quebrantados de coração, os cativos, os cegos e os oprimidos. Ele entra na sinagoga de Nazaré, uma cidade onde foi criado.

Lucas 4:16 Então ele veio para Nazaré, onde havia sido criado. E, como era seu costume, entrou na sinagoga no dia de sábado, e levantou-se para ler. 17 E foi-lhe entregue o livro do profeta Isaías. E, abrindo o livro, achou o lugar onde estava escrito: 18 O Espírito do Senhor está sobre mim, porque me ungiu para pregar o evangelho aos pobres; Ele me enviou para curar os quebrantados de coração, para proclamar liberdade aos cativos e recuperação da vista aos cegos, para pôr em liberdade os oprimidos; 19 para proclamar o ano aceitável do Senhor”.

No natural, entendemos o significado de dias importantes no calendário sul-africano, como 27 de abril, que foi declarado como o Dia da Liberdade. Ele comemora nossas primeiras eleições livres como sul-africanos, bem como a inauguração de nossa Nova Constituição que protege nossa emancipação de leis opressivas, preconceituosas e discriminatórias.

Embora o livro de Isaías tenha sido entregue a Jesus, foi Jesus quem encontrou o lugar onde Isaías havia profetizado sobre Ele (Isaías 61). Jesus se referiu especificamente a essa escritura porque foi capaz de discernir o espírito predominante de preconceito social na sinagoga. Jesus está revelando a unção residente no evangelho que é capaz de trazer libertação a esse grupo demográfico. Jesus declarou Sua intenção de pregar o evangelho para inaugurar a nova temporada de reforma e migração na sinagoga.

No que diz respeito a esse grupo demográfico, este foi o Dia da Liberdade, liberdade da injustiça sistêmica, liberdade de ser marginalizado enquanto adorava a Deus na sinagoga. Jesus declara: “Hoje se cumpriu esta escritura que acabais de ouvir” (versículo 21). Jesus está declarando abertamente que Ele é capaz de fazer em um dia por aquilo que você esperou ansiosamente por 50 anos. Jesus está declarando corajosamente em um ambiente hostil, religioso, ortodoxo e conservador que Ele é o Único, o Messias, o Jubileu que a terra esperava – para trazer salvação, liberdade e cura para aqueles que foram marginalizados pela injustiça social.

O Jubileu é o tempo para uma reinicialização “hard/master” em Israel. Inclui, entre outras coisas, a restauração da terra, a libertação de todos os servos e escravos contratados, uma redefinição econômica onde todas as dívidas foram perdoadas. Isaías profetizou isso DURANTE SEU TEMPO Em qualquer país, em qualquer estação, em qualquer século, esse grupo demográfico sempre existiu. Eles se veriam sujeitos a regimes, sistemas e governos opressivos, tornando-se eventualmente vassalos desses regimes. Como exemplo, podemos estudar o cativeiro e o deslocamento dos israelitas sob um regime assírio opressivo.

ESSE GRUPO DEMOGRÁFICO SE TORNA VULNERÁVEL AOS ATAQUES DO INIMIGO

 Nos tempos bíblicos, encontraremos inimigos do povo de Deus que visam esse grupo demográfico específico. Os amalequitas eram notórios por atacar os mais vulneráveis, os fracos e os retardatários; emboscando-os pela retaguarda

A justiça divina de Deus, libertada das cortes do céu, é apagar totalmente esse inimigo, incluindo seu gado, da face da terra.

Deuteronômio 25:17 “Lembre-se do que Amaleque fez com você no caminho, quando você estava saindo do Egito, 18 como ele o encontrou no caminho e atacou suas fileiras de retaguarda, todos os retardatários em sua retaguarda, quando você estava cansado e cansado; e ele não temia a Deus. 19 Será, pois, que, quando o SENHOR vosso Deus vos tiver dado descanso dos vossos inimigos ao redor, na terra que o SENHOR vosso Deus vos dá por herança, apagareis da Você não deve esquecer.

Os crentes constituem o sacerdócio real. Jesus é nosso Rei e nosso Sumo Sacerdote. Como Seus representantes, temos a obrigação obrigatória de revelar Sua integridade, Sua justiça, Sua imagem e Sua semelhança em nossos julgamentos.

A JUSTIÇA DIVINA TINHA QUE SER REVELADA NA ADMINISTRAÇÃO JUDICIAL DE MOISÉS

 Jetro dá conselhos a Moisés para liderar milhões de pessoas no deserto.

Êxodo 18:19 Ouça agora a minha voz; Eu vos aconselharei, e Deus será convosco: Apresentai-vos diante de Deus pelo povo, para que possais levar as dificuldades a Deus. 20 E ensinar-lhes-ás os estatutos e as leis, e mostrar-lhes-ás o caminho em que devem andar e a obra que devem fazer. 21 Além disso, escolherás dentre todo o povo homens capazes, tementes a Deus, homens de verdade, que odeiam a avareza; e coloque-os sobre eles para serem governantes de mil, governantes de cem, governantes de cinqüenta e governantes de dez. 22 E julguem o povo em todo o tempo. Então será que todas as grandes coisas eles trarão a vocês, mas todas as pequenas coisas eles mesmos julgarão. Assim será mais fácil para você, pois eles levarão o fardo com você.

Jethro, the father in law of Moses, gives Moses in Verse 21 four mandatory attributes that the leader must possess :

Moisés se dirige ao povo de Deus e traz maior clareza em suas expectativas em relação ao judiciário que é designado para refletir os elementos da justiça divina em seus julgamentos.

Deuteronômio 1:16 “Então ordenei aos seus juízes naquele tempo, dizendo: ‘Ouçam as causas entre seus irmãos e julguem com justiça entre um homem e seu irmão ou o estrangeiro que está com ele. 17 Não usarás de parcialidade no julgamento; você ouvirá tanto o pequeno quanto o grande; não temereis na presença de ninguém, porque de Deus é o juízo. O caso que é muito difícil para você, traga para mim, e eu vou ouvir.

Levítico 19:15 ‘Não cometerá injustiça no julgamento. Não serás parcial para com os pobres, nem honrarás a pessoa dos poderosos. Com justiça julgarás o teu próximo.

Moisés declara esses requisitos obrigatórios do judiciário na busca por julgamentos divinos justos

1. Julgue com justiça                                             2. imparcialidade absoluta                                 3. tanto os pequenos quanto os grandes, os pobres e os ricos, receberão uma audiência justa                4. resistir a todas as formas de intimidação e ameaças de qualquer pessoa que possam impedir o julgamento justo e divino                    5. no caso de quaisquer dificuldades para chegar a um julgamento justo, o assunto pode ser encaminhado a Moisés para revisão

Os julgamentos divinos não devem ser confundidos com os julgamentos de nossos tribunais na terra. Todos nós sabemos que, globalmente, existem alguns judiciários que são vulneráveis à corrupção, intimidação séria e parcialidade em relação aos ricos e ricos. Essas cidades são refletidas na parábola do Juiz Injusto, que simboliza um judiciário que não teme a Deus ou ao homem. (Lucas 18:1-8) A mensagem exagerada desta parábola é que os “eleitos de Deus” devem escalar seu apelo por justiça, apelando persistentemente a um tribunal divino superior que é guiado por Suas leis justas em Sua Palavra para intervir a fim de receber um julgamento justo. A razão pela qual nos referimos às leis mosaicas é porque Jesus se referiu à profecia de Isaías sobre a vinda do Messias ….. durante um tempo em que cidades de refúgio foram designadas para a execução da justiça justa. A profecia de Isaías trouxe esperança e consolo ao povo de Deus que precisava muito da justiça divina. O Senhor instruiu Moisés e mais tarde Josué a designar seis cidades de refúgio

Números 35 revela a importância de um judiciário justo, justo e imparcial que refletiria um padrão ético e divino que se alinharia com a Palavra do Senhor. Essas cidades eram governadas e administradas pelos levitas. Entre outros deveres, os levitas eram responsáveis por preparar ofertas, serviam como juízes, bem como ensinavam e instruíam o povo nas leis, estatutos e mandamentos do Senhor.

Os levitas eram perfeitamente adequados porque não eram cobiçosos. Eles não têm interesse na propriedade. A herança do levita é o Senhor. Isso os torna mediadores confiáveis e representantes confiáveis para entregar justiça divina justa.

Como dissemos, os crentes nesta época constituem o sacerdócio real. Priorizamos a Palavra do Senhor. Os princípios para um julgamento justo são extraídos da Palavra do Senhor.

A DESIGNAÇÃO DE SEIS CIDADES DE REFÚGIO: 

É necessário examinar o sistema de justiça em Israel que conferiria proteção, segurança e direito a um julgamento justo, de acordo com os requisitos obrigatórios mencionados neste artigo sobre a credibilidade do judiciário.

Números 35:9 Então falou o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo: 10 Fala aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Quando atravessares o Jordão para a terra de Canaã, 11 então designarás cidades para te servirem de refúgio, para que o homicida que matar alguém acidentalmente fuja para lá. 12 Elas vos servirão de cidades de refúgio contra o vingador, para que o homicida não morra até que se apresente perante a congregação em juízo. 13 E das cidades que derdes, tereis seis cidades de refúgio. 14 Constituirás três cidades além do Jordão, e três cidades na terra de Canaã, que serão cidades de refúgio. 15 Estas seis cidades servirão de refúgio para os filhos de Israel, para o estrangeiro e para o estrangeiro no meio deles, para que todo aquele que matar alguém acidentalmente fuja para lá.

As seis cidades designadas como “cidades de refúgio” são Golã, Ramote e Bosor, a leste (margem esquerda) do rio Jordão; e Quedes, Siquém e Hebrom no lado ocidental (direito).

Essas cidades, governadas pelos levitas, ofereciam aos israelitas um julgamento justo e, mais importante, segurança contra o vingador do homicida que exigia o sangue do homicida.

Essas cidades de refúgio forneciam imunidade e segurança para os israelitas e o estrangeiro de serem submetidos à “justiça da turba” e serem mortos na rua por gangues de vigilantes sedentos de sangue.

Essas cidades representam tanto a “justiça quanto a misericórdia de Deus” não apenas para o povo de Deus, mas também para o estrangeiro que habitava no meio deles.

Tanto o autor quanto o réu tiveram acesso a um processo legal justo, imparcial e sem preconceitos. Como representantes do Senhor, os levitas nessas cidades estavam plenamente conscientes de seu mandato divino de proferir julgamentos justos.

Cristo é nosso Sumo Sacerdote Nos dias atuais, carregamos o fardo da responsabilidade do sacerdócio real; nossos julgamentos justos precisam revelar a justiça divina e as misericórdias do Senhor. Devemos tornar-nos a “cidade de refúgio”, o Nome do Senhor, que é uma torre forte onde os justos correm e são salvos.

Como reconfiguramos as cidades para se tornarem “cidades seguras” ou “cidades de refúgio”

Aqui estão algumas soluções possíveis? O que é necessário é um HARD RESET – UM MASTER RESET

Isso é muito mais do que apenas reiniciar. Isso envolve limpar todo o sistema, exceto as informações essenciais

Aplicai toda doutrina, sem parcialidade nem preconceito, na sua totalidade, a todos, tanto aos pobres como aos ricos; tanto para os pequenos quanto para os grandes

Vemos o julgamento do Senhor na vida de Davi quando 70.000 pessoas morreram por causa de Davi numerar as pessoas

Também vemos a MISERICÓRDIA DE DEUS ativada quando o Senhor disse ao anjo ….. “É o suficiente; agora contenha sua mão.”

O Juízo Divino e a misericórdia do Senhor são irmãos.

1 Crônicas 21:14 Então o Senhor enviou uma praga sobre Israel, e setenta mil homens de Israel caíram. 15 E Deus enviou um anjo a Jerusalém para destruí-la. Enquanto destruia, o Senhor olhou e se arrependeu do desastre, e disse ao anjo que estava destruindo: “Basta; agora contenha sua mão.” E o anjo do Senhor parou junto à eira de Ornã, o jebuseu. 16 Então Davi levantou os olhos e viu o anjo do Senhor em pé entre a terra e o céu, tendo na mão uma espada desembainhada estendida sobre Jerusalém. Então Davi e os anciãos, vestidos de saco, prostraram-se com o rosto em terra. 17 E disse Davi a Deus: Não fui eu quem mandou recensear o povo? Eu sou aquele que pecou e fez o mal de fato; Mas essas ovelhas, o que elas fizeram? Peço-lhe a tua mão, ó Senhor meu Deus, contra mim e contra a casa de meu pai, mas não contra o teu povo, para que seja atormentado”.

Muitos acreditam que foi Davi quem escreveu o Salmo 119. Preste atenção às suas palavras…   

Salmos 119:164 Sete vezes por dia eu te louvo, por causa dos teus justos juízos. 165 Grande paz têm os que amam a tua lei, e não há nada que os faça tropeçar.
