AUTORIDADE

Mateus 8: 9

9 Pois também eu sou homem sujeito à autoridade, e tenho soldados às minhas ordens; e digo a este: Vai, e ele vai; e a outro: Vem, e ele vem; e ao meu servo: Faze isto, e ele o faz. 

Lucas 11:28

28 Mas ele respondeu: Antes bem-aventurados os que ouvem a palavra de Deus, e a observam.   

Os princípios de autoridade são aplicáveis em qualquer ambiente. Obediência é a principal demanda em qualquer situação.

Os líderes devem ensinar isso, especialmente quando ensinamos sobre autoridade espiritual. Não podemos escolher ensiná-lo em uma situação e desprezar totalmente esses princípios em outra situação.

Quando aplicamos a doutrina seletivamente, inadvertidamente desmantelamos a doutrina que estamos tentando ensinar.

O centurião optou por se submeter à Palavra de Jesus porque ele entendeu claramente os protocolos relativos à autoridade.

Instruções são dadas ao centurião; o centurião comunica as instruções aos soldados sob seu comando (autoridade). Uma violação da cadeia de comando destruirá a credibilidade da capacidade do centurião de liderar. Violações consistentes da cadeia de comando resultarão em vidas inocentes sendo perdidas na batalha.

Matthew 8:9

9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

Luke 11:28

28 But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”

The principles of authority are applicable in any environment. Obedience is the principal demand in any situation.

Leaders must teach this, especially when we teach about spiritual authority. We cannot choose to teach it in one situation and totally despise these principles in another situation.

When we apply doctrine selectively, we inadvertently dismantle the very doctrine that we are attempting to teach.

The centurion chose to submit to the Word of Jesus because he clearly understood the protocols concerning authority.

Instructions are given to the centurion; the centurion communicates the instructions to the soldiers under his command (authority). A violation of the chain of command will destroy the credibility of the centurion’s ability to lead. Consistent violations of the chain of command will result in innocent lives being lost in the battle.
