Gen 15:4-6
4 Then the word of the LORD came to him: “This man will not be your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your heir.” 5 He took him outside and said, “Look up at the heavens and count the stars–if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”
6 Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

There is an elaborate accounting system in the heavens that records all our doings and sayings. It is an account that is either credited and debited depending on whether our activities please or displease God.
Although the promise of God to Abraham was quite incredible and would have really tested most men of God with great faith, Abraham simply believed with childlike faith that which God told him. At this stage Abraham did nothing to manifest his belief; it shows that God was able to discern how Abraham was configured on the inside. I want you to hold on to this revelation because this would significantly change your perception in attracting Divine favour.
God was able to discern straight away that Abraham was serious in his believing. He did not simply think the right thoughts or say the right things like many of us do; he believed in his heart.
This simple act resulted in an immediate credit to his account as RIGHTEOUSNESS.

The balance on this account is a reflection of your seriousness in developing your goodwill with God. In commerce goodwill is an asset that is developed over the lifespan of an entity. This is the most active account during your entire existence on earth. This is one account that is never closed. Even if you are trading with a great deficit, this account will remain open as long as you live.

We spend an inordinate amount of time worrying about our financial affairs.
We ought to experience greater anxiety over the state of our account of RIGHTEOUSNESS, our goodwill or right standing with God. John had the revelation of the White Throne Judgement… which further proves the existence of an elaborate accounting system. This is the final judgement of all humanity….after satan is dealt with and is thrown into the lake of fire.
Then it is judgement day for us.

Rev 20:12
12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

The Bible says that it is the righteous that will not beg for bread. The balance in this account which has your name on it will determine whether you are flourishing or are withering away in this life, for this is the benefit that belongs to the righteous.
We accept fully that the righteous will be persecuted. We must count it a great honour and joy to be persecuted for the sake of righteousness.

Matt 5:10-12
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Every single act, thought, spoken word gets recorded. There are great rewards for those who know how to be still in times of persecution. Scripture instructs to rejoice and be glad.
Every single act or spoken Word or thought will result in either a debit or credit in your account of righteousness. It will affect your goodwill with God.

Some of our accounts may be in deficit. It shows that you have stopped believing God for your breakthrough; your belief will be credited to your account of righteousness.

LET US LOOK AT ANOTHER CASE THAT PROVES THAT THERE ARE REWARDS FOR OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

2 Sam 22:21-25
21 “The LORD has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me. 22 For I have kept the ways of the LORD; I have not done evil by turning from my God.

This particular verse should cause us to sit up straight. We all know what evil is…what the acts of evil are.
Here David tells us that ‘turning from God” is an act of evil.
You may be the most well behaved person; you pay your tithes regularly; you carry yourself well amongst the people….yet the accounting system has recorded you as an EVIL PERSON because you have turned from your God.
I can see it now so clearly. There you are standing before the Great White Throne on your judgement day. You are trying to tell God that you was never an evil doer; maybe they entered someone else’s misdeeds in your account.
Your act of evil is that you turned your heart away from God and you despised His structures on the earth. That attitude is entered as a DEBIT transaction in your account of Righteousness.

23 All his laws are before me; I have not turned away from his decrees. 24 I have been blameless before him and have kept myself from sin. 25 The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to my cleanness in his sight.

Note the words of David’s song after the Lord delivered him from the hand of Saul and all his other enemies.
All the time that David was persecuted, he maintained his integrity, his right standing with God; his goodwill with God; recognising that Saul, although out of favour with God, was anointed to be king….his office had to be respected.
It was the same David who wrote the lyrics for this psalm:

Ps 105:13-15
13 When they went from one nation to another, From one kingdom to another people,
14 He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes,
15 Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.”

Righteousness has a voice. It will speak on your behalf; so you can maintain your integrity. Righteousness before God results in us being confident before men. Look at Jacob negotiating his exit strategy with Laban. Does not want people to think he stole anything. He asks for lambs that are blemished….those that are despised, looked down upon. He wanted to protect his integrity. He knew his righteousness will answer for him.
You can read further and see how God supernaturally added to his spotted and blemished flock.

Gen 30:31-33
31 So he said, “What shall I give you?” And Jacob said, “You shall not give me anything. If you will do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep your flocks: 32 Let me pass through all your flock today, removing from there all the speckled and spotted sheep, and all the brown ones among the lambs, and the spotted and speckled among the goats; and these shall be my wages. 33 So my righteousness will answer for me in time to come, when the subject of my wages comes before you: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the lambs, will be considered stolen, if it is with me.”

We must maintain our integrity at all times. Our faith in an Almighty God to vindicate us…as our righteousness will answer for us. This principle is beyond the comprehension of the simple individual.
Job found himself on the receiving end of some bad counselling from his friends. He had this response:

Job 27:2-6
2 “As God lives, who has taken away my justice, And the Almighty, who has made my soul bitter,
3 As long as my breath is in me, And the breath of God in my nostrils,
4 My lips will not speak wickedness, Nor my tongue utter deceit.
5 Far be it from me that I should say you are right;Till I die I will not put away my integrity from me.
6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go; My heart shall not reproach me as long as I live.

Our righteousness will surely be tested by God. Just as God tested the faith of Abraham when He requested Isaac as a sacrifice, God will also test this present righteous company. He checking to see if you will crack under pressure. The fire will be turned up seven times hotter than usual. Daniel and his friends experienced this. They chose to hold on to their integrity.
Not taking one backward step. We have to function as ones who have died at the Cross with the Lord. That we function not as the old creation, but as believers who have experienced a spirit of renewal.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing away of Pastor Krish Govender who served the Lord at CCF International Church in Kloof.
Our condolences go to his wife of 43 years Pastor Pat Govender and their children Julian and Michelle and their daughter in law Eleanor and son in law Paul as well their grandchildren Chelsea and Alexia.
Pastor Krish’s passion was to minister the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ to those who did not know Him. He has touched countless lives during the course of his ministry which was personal evangelism.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

John 16:12-14
12 I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

There is much, in the words of our Lord Jesus, that was not communicated to the disciples; simply because they were not emotionally, spiritually or intellectually mature to deal with proceeding truth….this is “every Word that comes out from the mouth of God”.
This was the Word of God to the Israelites:
Deut 8:3-4
3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.

Jesus resisted the enemy by referring the structures of darkness to the power of proceeding truth.

The Holy Spirit is the courier of classified information; the courier of proceeding truth. This truth is not accessed through the traditional or conventional places of learning. It may not be presented in a language or a format that we are familiar with. It is not concepts that are created in the laboratory of our human intellect; nor is it the product of creative thinking or a vivid imagination. It is spiritually communicated through the Lord’s preferred, accredited, authorized agency of the Holy Ghost.
All we need is therefore to develop a vibrant, sustainable relationship with the Holy Spirit. The believer needs to listen attentively with the spiritual ear to what the Spirit of the Lord is saying.

So, do not reject out of hand that which may offend the natural ear. Rather “save it” in your spirit for further meditation. The leadership of the Holy Spirit in leading us into all truth will ensure that the matter is eventually settled.

If you are a person who loves being inspired by singing, this is a good time to sing
“COME HOLY SPIRIT I NEED THEE”.

Hag 2:6-7
6 “For thus says the LORD of hosts: “Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; 7 and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts.

We remain hopeful that the shakings that the earth is experiencing, both natural and spiritual will cause believers to gather as a corporate man; believers from different doctrinal and theological persuasions will lay aside “foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless” and come to the temple, not the one many believe to be rebuilt in Jerusalem, but the spiritual temple that is manifested as all believers would regularly gather to hear the Word of the Lord to the city.

This is the gathering that God promises to fill with His glory. However, we should be careful to note that believers should be drawn to the “Desire of All Nations”…the King over all kings, the Lord over all lords. We should not fall into error; the Lord of the temple is greater than the temple itself. We gather because we believe His glory will be manifested when we gather in one mind and one accord. Then we will experience His very Presence. That we will hear and receive His voice as spoken through His servants; where in this spiritually charged environment there would be signs and wonders.
The Lord Jesus must become the object of our desire to gather as one man.

Ps 42:1-4
As the deer pants for the water brooks,So pants my soul for You, O God. 2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.When shall I come and appear before God? 3 My tears have been my food day and night,While they continually say to me,”Where is your God?”
4 When I remember these things,I pour out my soul within me.For I used to go with the multitude;I went with them to the house of God,With the voice of joy and praise,With a multitude that kept a pilgrim feast.

David longed for God; his soul longed for God. Not for the rituals and the ordinances of the temple; but for fellowship with God Himself.
I know many people who miss the fellowship of the brethren when are away for a while. I know others who miss being in His Presence; something some believers miss when they are away from a particular place of worship.
His glory will be evident in His temple

Ps 137:3-6
3 For there those who carried us away captive asked of us a song,
And those who plundered us requested mirth,
Saying, “Sing us one of the songs of Zion!”
4 How shall we sing the LORD’s song in a foreign land?
5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem,Let my right hand forget its skill!
6 If I do not remember you,Let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth—
If I do not exalt Jerusalem above my chief joy.

The captive Israelites were in mourning as the instruments that gave them so much of joy and comfort in the temple in Zion, now lay by their side; unable to lift the spirit of despair and hopelessness that was upon them.
The situation was that Babylon required a song for the purpose of mere pleasure; for mirth; for entertainment purposes; for laughter.
The integrity of the captive Israelites is demonstrated in this simple question:
“How shall we sing the Lord’s song in a foreign land?”

The impartation received in the corporate temple in Zion was able to influence their behaviour on the banks of the rivers of Babylon. Even though they were in captivity the Word of the Lord they had learned in the temple was alive in them.

Sadly the Church at large, in a quest for “professionalism” in ministry, has betrayed it’s loyalty to the corporate temple in Zion; to the teachings of the fathers; the Church has mastered its performance to such an extent that it can render a sound that is acceptable to the masses whilst functioning from the operating manual of Babylon. The temple on the holy hill of Zion lays desolate and forgotten as the Church is wholly focussed on entertaining the multitude.
The Lord is mindful of our ways; of the abdication of the responsibilities of this present day priesthood. His eyes are upon the priesthood that is occupying His house.
Remember the prophetic word to Eli when the Lord declared:

1 Sam 2:35
35 I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his house, and he will minister before my anointed one always.

God is interested in nothing less than taking full ownership of His priesthood. One that simply communicate that which is in His heart and in His mind. Not only to articulate, but also to implement those things that are in His heart and in His mind.
Meditate on these words of the Psalmist:
Ps 119:52-54
52 I remember your ancient laws, O LORD, and I find comfort in them.
53 Indignation grips me because of the wicked, who have forsaken your law.
54 Your decrees are the theme of my song wherever I lodge.

Let us emit a new sound. One that is fuelled by a passion for the Lord, His Word and His Kingdom.
Anything else is building on sand. It is my prayer that we will construct as wise master builders in 2010 using the architectural designs of the Master Builder, our Lord Jesus Christ.

FASTING AND PRAYER

We will commence our fasting and prayer on Monday 11 January 2010, meeting every morning and evening in the temple. There are many challenges that face the Church and some of these challenges simply will not go away.

Est 3:5-6
5 When Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow or pay him homage, Haman was filled with wrath. 6 But he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone, for they had told him of the people of Mordecai. Instead, Haman sought to destroy all the Jews who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus–the people of Mordecai.

Est 3:8-13
8 Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus, “There is a certain people scattered and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of your kingdom; their laws are different from all other people’s, and they do not keep the king’s laws. Therefore it is not fitting for the king to let them remain. 9 If it pleases the king, let a decree be written that they be destroyed, and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver into the hands of those who do the work, to bring it into the king’s treasuries.” 10 So the king took his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the enemy of the Jews. 11 And the king said to Haman, “The money and the people are given to you, to do with them as seems good to you.”
12 Then the king’s scribes were called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and a decree was written according to all that Haman commanded–to the king’s satraps, to the governors who were over each province, to the officials of all people, to every province according to its script, and to every people in their language. In the name of King Ahasuerus it was written, and sealed with the king’s signet ring.

There is a decree that has been written. The spirit of Haman is very much alive this day as it was during Biblical times. The remnant of God is being targeted. Haman will not be satisfied with just one man; he wants to decimate the entire remnant.
The accusation against us is that we are “different from all the other people” because we are guided by another set of laws and decrees.
We will refuse to bow down or pay homage to any demagogue that has set himself up as a god over the children of the Most High God. The systems of this world have wreaked havoc amongst our people. It is time to fight back; not with carnal weapons but by engaging these strongholds in the spirit and by using His Word as our weapon of choice. Haman will hang on the gallows prepared for God’s people.
Are we not in the Kingdom for such a time like this?
This is our time. It is a time to demonstrate boldness and the courage of our convictions.

Sheila and I would like to thank all our friends and ministry partners for your support in 2010. Although our work is often accompanied by great persecution your presence in our lives make the struggle a little easier.
May the Lord Jesus bless you and your families abundantly in 2010 May your ministries grow in stature. Do not grow weary in doing good.
Our goal in 2010 is simply to develop our relationship with Christ….not only through His Word but also by engaging Him through the Holy Spirit. We want to intensify our personal devotion to Him. We want to be a better disciples of Christ by revealing His nature through our lives. This is what creation is waiting for.
Arise, sons of God and reveal yourselves in 2010 !

5th December 2009 at 10:00 Argentina’s time.

We are gathering on Wednesday the 16th to celebrate and give thanks to the Lord for a variety of covenantal relationships. These are men and women who have been consistent in their support for our ministry during the course of this year. We count ourselves amongst those who believe that Divine grace is imparted through accurate covenantal association with carriers of grace. So this is simply an expression of our gratitude to God for those He has sent our way.
Bones must connect together if we are to develop the structure necessary in ministry to advance us in His Kingdom. Sadly that which the prophet Ezekiel saw is the same sight we behold in the Body in this present day…bones lying disjointed and scattered in the valley.
It is because of covenantal relationships, accurate bone connections and alignment, that we will see and hear the emergence of an exceedingly great army that carries the very breath and fire of God.
Ezek 37:10
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet-a vast army.
Discern the spirit behind this Word and you will understand the spirit of thanksgiving that is abounding in our hearts at CCF.
Let us close with this scripture:
Ps 100:4-5
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
