In this article I would like us to study the massive harem of Solomon; his method of building alliances will reveal to leaders in this present day the dangers of building outside of the directives issued in the Word of God.
1 Kings 11:1 But King Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites— 2 from the nations of whom the LORD had said to the children of Israel, “You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods.” Solomon clung to these in love. 3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart. 4 For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the LORD his God, as was the heart of his father David
“Foreign women” in Verse 1 in the original text translates as “strange women”
The original Hebrew word for strange “nokriy” also refers alternatively to stranger, foreigner or someone who is not part of the family.
Solomon, a king in whom God had invested Divine wisdom, entered into these “strategic alliances” for political expediency; clearly to expand his political influence; possibly as part of a greater Foreign policy agenda aimed to achieve peace and stability with neighbouring nations.
Solomon trusted and prioritised his spiritual gift of wisdom OVER the direct instructions enshrined in the Word of God.
There were alliances that God did not sanction because of the idolatrous practices of nations who embraced a polytheistic culture of worship. Solomon not only married these women, he also constructed “high places” and shrines for these “strange women” to worship and offer their sacrifices, which included child sacrifices to the god Molech.
1 Kings 11:7 Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the hill that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the people of Ammon. 8 And he did likewise for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods.
When our zeal for advancement at all costs violates our covenant with the Word of God, we will realise suddenly that we have engineered our own pathway to separation from God; separation from His Presence.
The vision of Ezekiel
Ezekiel 8:6 Furthermore He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary? Now turn again, you will see greater abominations.” 7 So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall.
The demand of the Law concerning inter marriage between God’s people and persons who worship other gods.
Deuteronomy 7:3 Nor shall you make marriages with them. You shall not give your daughter to their son, nor take their daughter for your son. 4 For they will turn your sons away from following Me, to serve other gods; so the anger of the LORD will be aroused against you and destroy you suddenly. 5 But thus you shall deal with them: you shall destroy their altars, and break down their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden images, and burn their carved images with fire. 6 “For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. 7 The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; 8 but because the LORD loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Our spiritual gifts and graces, our rankings and titles, our thrones and crowns, must BOW before the Word of God – God’s commands, instructions and judgements to His people.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away1.
1 Kings 11:4……… “and his heart was not loyal to the LORD his God, as was the heart of his father David”
Solomon’s reference for loyalty on the earth was his father David. Solomon failed the “loyalty test” when we compare him to his father David. The father is the reference of the son for loyalty.
A son should not marry what the father has defeated.
David defeated the Moabites – Solomon married the Moabite David defeated the Ammonite – Solomon married the Ammonite princess
When Moses had grown in his age and understanding, he refused to be identified as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, preferring to share in the afflictions of God’s people. Moses chose to abandon the luxurious lifestyle of Egypt, which was regarded as the grandest civilisation on the earth. Moses was NOT chosen by God to lead His people accidentally. God observed His uncompromising loyalty. (No stranger was permitted to rule in the nation of Israel)
Solomon, on the other hand married the daughter of Pharaoh – probably to maintain peace with Egypt

Ammonite (offered human sacrifices to their god Ammon)
Edomite (an environment that is willing to trade its birthright – Esau)

Hittite (sons of terror – spirit of fear that undermines the believer’s emotions)
SOLUTIONS FOR THIS PRESENT DAY
How do we engage with “strange” cultures in this present day? The overarching instruction by Jesus to ALL believers is …….
Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
The conflict then arises “How do we engage nations that are hostile to the culture of the believer?”
Let us examine the example of Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well. Jesus was able to engage the Samaritan culture without being seduced by it. Using the fullness of his grace, Jesus dealt with every question in his dialogue with the woman. Solomon may have married the woman, and may have brought her into his harem with all her unresolved prejudices; Solomon may have also allocated a mountain for her to maintain an erroneous, counter culture of worship, without presenting to her the type of worship that the Eternal Father desires.
Jesus dismantled her false perceptions by teaching her the culture of the Kingdom and finally revealing His identity as the Messiah – as the One sent by God, the Gift of God.
Here is the reality of this present day concerning our quest for oneness….
• In his quest in trying to please everyone in his harem ( the 700 wives and 300 concubines) Solomon disobeyed the Word of God, the doctrine, the culture of the people of God at the altar of political expediency
How do we transform “strange” cultures without betraying our own? Paul mentions his strategy to the believers in Corinth –
“Engage without being seduced”
1 Corinthians 9:21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law;
Solomon’s harem represented a “pantheon of gods and goddesses”. A polytheistic culture that seeks to please many gods

Mas foi porque o Senhor os amou e por causa do juramento que fez aos seus antepassados. Por isso ele os tirou com mão poderosa e os redimiu da terra da escravidão, do poder do faraó, rei do Egito.
Nossos dons e graças espirituais, nossos rankings e títulos, nossos tronos e coroas, devem CURVAR-SE diante da Palavra de Deus – os mandamentos, instruções e julgamentos de Deus ao Seu povo.
Mateus 24:35 O céu e a terra passarão, mas as minhas palavras jamais passarão”.
1 Reis 11:4b “e o seu coração não era leal ao Senhor, seu Deus, como era o coração do seu pai Davi”
A referência de Salomão para a lealdade na terra era seu pai Davi. Salomão falhou no “teste de lealdade” quando o comparamos a seu pai Davi. O pai é a referência do filho para a lealdade.
Um filho não deve se casar com o que o pai derrotou.
Davi derrotou os moabitas – Salomão casou-se com o moabita Davi derrotou o amonita – Salomão casou-se com a princesa amonita.
Quando Moisés cresceu em sua idade e compreensão, ele se recusou a ser identificado como filho da filha do faraó, preferindo participar das aflições do povo de Deus. Moisés optou por abandonar o estilo de vida luxuoso do Egito, que era considerado a maior civilização da terra. Moisés NÃO foi escolhido por Deus para liderar Seu povo acidentalmente. Deus observou Sua lealdade intransigente. (Nenhum estrangeiro foi autorizado a governar na nação de Israel).

Como nos relacionamos com culturas “estranhas” nos dias atuais? A instrução abrangente de Jesus a TODOS os crentes é …
Mateus 28:19:20 Portanto, vão e façam discípulos de todas as nações, batizando-os em nome do Pai e do Filho e do Espírito Santo, ensinando-os a obedecer a tudo o que eu lhes ordenei. E eu estarei sempre com vocês, até o fim dos tempos”. Amém.
O conflito então surge: “Como engajar nações hostis à cultura do crente?”
Examinemos o exemplo de Jesus e da mulher samaritana no poço. Jesus foi capaz de engajar a cultura samaritana sem ser seduzido por ela. Usando a plenitude de sua graça, Jesus tratou de todas as questões em seu diálogo com a mulher. Salomão pode ter se casado com a mulher, e pode tê-la trazido para seu harém com todos os seus preconceitos não resolvidos; Salomão também pode ter alocado uma montanha para ela manter uma cultura errônea e contrária de adoração, sem apresentar a ela o tipo de adoração que o Pai Eterno deseja.
Jesus desmontou suas falsas percepções, ensinando-lhe a cultura do Reino e, finalmente, revelando Sua identidade como o Messias – como o enviado de Deus, o Dom de Deus.
Aqui está a realidade dos dias atuais em relação à nossa busca pela unidade.
• Em sua busca em tentar agradar a todos em seu harém (as 700 esposas e 300 concubinas), Salomão desobedeceu à Palavra de Deus, à doutrina, à cultura do povo de Deus no altar da conveniência política
Como transformar culturas “estranhas” sem trair as nossas? Paulo menciona sua estratégia aos crentes em Corinto –
“Engajar sem ser seduzido”
1 Coríntios 9:21 Para os que estão sem lei, tornei-me como sem lei ( embora não esteja livre da lei de Deus, mas sim sob a lei de Cristo ), a fim de ganhar os que não têm a lei.
O harém de Salomão representava um “panteão de deuses e deusas”. Uma cultura politeísta que procura agradar a muitos deuses.
During these perilous times we sense that the apostolic/prophetic movement has transitioned into a struggle organisation. A remnant of the Lord that is surviving by remaining faithful, against all odds, to the Word of the Lord.
The culture of this movement has emboldened the remnant to defy, dissent, resist and push back against unbiblical practices and social injustices that are hostile to the the instructions enshrined in the Word of the Lord
Our spiritual reality is that Christ has set us free; however the challenge to believers is to become the agency or conduit that the Lord would use to manifest this emancipation on the earth.
Paul and Barnabas cause great dissension when they defended the spiritual rights of the Gentiles
Acts 15:1And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” 2 Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, about this question.
This is the spirit of dissension that must return to the dialogue. Regrettably the religious order has labelled this form of pushback as “rebellion”
The remnant dissents for the sake of the Gospel (truth). The spirit of dissent is inextricably connected to a believer whose entire trust and confidence is in the Word of the Lord
The mandate given to Gideon must FIRST activate the struggle and dissension in his own home and family. Gideon had to first confront the idolatry in his own house. The first barrier to entry for a leader against a Medianite invasion is to confront the idolatry is his local household of faith or family (Judges 6:25)
Paul’s concern for the next generation of disciples is revealed in his words ….
Acts 15:10 Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? 11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.”
An apostolic/prophetic company has to stand up and confront principalities that seeks to install conditions for salvation. This is NOT rebellion. This is one of the purposes of the anointing; to remonstrate against unjust practices that bring the finished work of Christ into disrepute.
Jesus read in the midst of the synagogue the portion of the scripture that spoke of the purpose of the anointing over His life …..
Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me, To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed
The purpose of the anointing goes beyond enjoying the Presence of God; in fact divine visitations by the Spirit of God come to empower, enable, embolden,communicate and spiritually animate us into fulfilling our God ordained purpose
A Divine visitation by the Lord will demand Peter to eat what he has never eaten before; A Divine visitation by the Lord will rebuke Peter for calling “unclean” that which God has cleansed.
Apostolic/Prophetic culture will dissent against a religious regime that attempts to place conditions for salvation and the infilling of the Holy Spirit; a regime that desires to franchise the gift of God concerning the salvation and redemption of all those who would believe.
We are acutely aware of the present warfare that leaders are experiencing globally. For those who are committed to the struggle, we cannot remain locked away in dens, caves and other strongholds. Declare the body of truth that the Lord has entrusted to us
Jesus was the CHIEF DISSENTER
A public survey revealed that the people thought that Jesus was Elijah, John the Baptist or Jeremiah. These are all men sent by God to call people to repentance and turn their hearts away from idolatry and return to the heart of the Father. The perception of the people reveals the reality that Jesus manifested all the characteristic traits of Elijah, John the Baptist and Jeremiah. Jesus was not intimidated by the faces of His audience
In the midst of intense persecution of the disciples in Asia Minor, Paul writes to his son Timothy from a place of incarceration. He is clearly concerned about the survival of Timothy during these perilous times.
Paul could have instructed Timothy to go into hiding. Timothy represented Paul’s investment, seed and legacy; he would carry the message and the doctrine of Paul into the next generation.
Spiritual fathers carry the same burden for their spiritual sons.
Paul’s ministry in Asia Minor has come under intense persecution where the city of Rome is literally burning and the disciples were accused of arson and they were arrested and indiscriminately killed using methods of extreme violence like feeding the bodies of the disciples to lions and wild dogs (symbolic of a religious regime) and burning their bodies to be used as human torches.
This is the earliest example of gaslighting the reputation and integrity of the disciples of the Lord. Jezebel used gaslighting technique to seize the field of Naboth by using scoundrels as false witnesses.
Nero saw an excellent opportunity to discredit Paul, the disciples of the Lord and his message by accusing the Christians of the burning of Rome. The fire that is imparted by disciples of the Lord is in their bones and is released when the scriptures are opened. It starts a burning in the hearts of the audience and it is this fire that would cause the Samaritan woman who encountered Jesus to run into her city and impact many Samaritans in that city, and her testimony caused them to believe in Jesus.
This is the “arson” that is caused by disciples of the Lord without leaving a carbon footprint.
Luke 24:32 And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
We are not burning cities and networks as some observers may suppose. Our desire is for hearts to burn for Jesus when we open the scriptures
This is the instruction to Timothy ……..
2 Timothy 1:13 Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. 14 That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.15 This you know, that all those in Asia have turned away from me, among whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes. 16 The Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain;
HOLD FAST THE PATTERN OF SOUND WORDS
Paul instructs Timothy to hold fast to the pattern of sound words. The meaning in Hebrew of “holding fast” is to guard and protect; to fix our attention on
Paul, the spiritual father of Timothy, is the carrier of sound words that would have been imparted to Timothy. The doctrine of the spiritual Father becomes the doctrine of the Son. This is how the father/son wineskin functions. The doctrine of Jesus was from His Father.
John 7:15-16 15 And the Jews marveled, saying, “How does this Man know letters, having never studied?” 16 Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.
Even if the whole town is burning, disciples of the Lord must “hold fast”
We must not be intimidated by our circumstances in any season to such an extent that we abandon the pursuit of strong doctrine.
The Greek word for “sound” , concerning doctrine means …. “true, pure, uncorrupted”
During this time Paul had experienced the loss of an entire community of disciples in Asia that Paul had clearly discipled. The intense weight of persecution and the arrest and incarceration of Paul caused many believers to distance themselves from Paul and his message. This is the huge cost of preaching the truth of the gospel.The rejection of Paul is a rejection of the “culture and pattern of sound words (doctrine). The scriptures declare that it was not just a few disciples who abandoned Paul.
“all those in Asia have turned away from me”
Secondly Paul instructs Timothy, during this time of warfare, to “follow the rules” (Doctrine from the Word of God)
2 Timothy 2 5 And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. 6 The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops. 7 Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.
Greek word for “rules” nomímōs; lawful, Lawfully, according to law and custom
Paul uses a sports illustration. No individual can be crowned UNLESS he competes according to the rules. We must play by the rules – which are the laws, commands and instructions in the Word of God
CHALLENGE TO ALL BELIEVERS – RETURN TO THE PATTERN OF SOUND WORDS AND PLAY BY THE RULES (Nomimos)
Let us examine this illustration of Paul “play by the rules” more closely. Pattern of sound words – sound doctrine. Using the illustration of Paul, sound doctrine is the represented in the lines that mark the field of play
Where a sports field is not clearly marked we cannot enforce the rules of the game. In fact you can dribble anywhere you want me Where there is no sound doctrine, believers are able to shift the goalposts according to their personal agenda and strategy
Sound doctrine marks the field of play for believers. Breaching the lines on the field is equal to rejecting the pattern of sound words
The purpose of the lines is to remove strife and contention on the field of play; it brings a sense of equalisation and fairness to all who participate in the game.
Revelation and strategy may win us the game….But the implementation of sound doctrine on the field validates the legitimacy and credibility of our victory
Remember “match fixing” will also influence the result of the game. Good success is celebrated as the result of the application of sound doctrine.
For example the doctrine of the father/son wineskin
How do we evaluate the successful implementation of this doctrine? It is not how we apply it in our own houses or families; our understanding of the doctrine is revealed in how we apply it in another man’s household or sphere. The practice of the selective application of doctrine brings the impartiality of sound doctrine into disrepute.
The practice of bypassing the set man/spiritual father over a house or family is a RED CARD offence. This demonstrates a total disregard for the protocols of the doctrine.
The demand is to offer help to the leader of a household without coveting or desiring to assume ownership/leadership of another man’s ministry.
Desired corporate outcomes are possible through transparency and clarity in our negotiations. Leaders must attempt to recover the desire to sit around a table to negotiate strategies and solutions. Carriers of grace can work together to achieve a corporate outcome whilst observing the agreed rules of association.
Inaccurate Alliances It would be extremely challenging for Solomon to achieve “oneness” in his harem of 700 wives, princesses and 300 concubines. These foreign women represented a polytheistic culture.

The heart of every father seeks oneness in his household. Believers unite around the commands of God. The prophetic imagery in the harem of Solomon cannot be unseen. What do we see?
Our quest for inclusivity (oneness) has boundaries. It does not include alliances that demand conjugal rights, with those who will turn us away from God and the pattern of sound doctrine. This represents an unequal yoke. Solomon “clung to these alliances”. We must be also be cautious when we are involved in building “unity” movements in our sphere of influence. The greater the passion for inclusivity, the more doctrinal ground we will have to compromise.

Durante esses tempos perigosos, sentimos que o movimento apostólico/profético fez a transição para uma organização de luta. Um remanescente do Senhor que está sobrevivendo por permanecer fiel, contra todas as probabilidades, à Palavra do Senhor.
A cultura desse movimento encorajou o remanescente a desafiar, discordar, resistir e recuar contra práticas antibíblicas e injustiças sociais que são hostis às instruções consagradas na Palavra do Senhor.
Nossa realidade espiritual é que Cristo nos libertou; no entanto, o desafio para os crentes é se tornar a agência ou canal que o Senhor usaria para manifestar essa emancipação na terra.
Paulo e Barnabé causam grande discórdia ao defenderem os direitos espirituais dos gentios
(Atos 15:1-2) Alguns homens desceram da Judéia para Antioquia e passaram a ensinar aos irmãos: “Se vocês não forem circuncidados conforme o costume ensinado por Moisés, não poderão ser salvos”. Isso levou Paulo e Barnabé a uma grande contenda e discussão com eles. Assim, Paulo e Barnabé foram designados, juntamente com outros, para irem a Jerusalém tratar dessa questão com os apóstolos e com os presbíteros.
Este é o espírito de dissensão que deve retornar ao diálogo. Lamentavelmente, a ordem religiosa rotulou essa forma de resistência como “rebelião”
O remanescente discorda por causa do Evangelho (verdade). O espírito de dissidência está inextricavelmente ligado a um crente cuja total confiança está na Palavra do Senhor.
O mandato dado a Gideon deve PRIMEIRO ativar a luta e a discórdia em sua própria casa e família. Gideon teve que primeiro confrontar a idolatria em sua própria casa. A primeira barreira de entrada para um líder contra uma invasão Medianita é confrontar a idolatria de sua família local de fé ou família (Juízes 6:25)
A preocupação de Paulo com a próxima geração de discípulos é revelada em suas palavras…
(Atos 15:10-11) Então, por que agora vocês estão querendo tentar a Deus, impondo sobre os discípulos um jugo que nem nós nem nossos antepassados conseguimos suportar? De modo nenhum! Cremos que somos salvos pela graça de nosso Senhor Jesus, assim como eles também”.
Uma companhia apostólica/profética tem que se levantar e enfrentar os principados que buscam instalar condições para a salvação. Isso NÃO é rebelião. Este é um dos propósitos da unção; protestar contra práticas injustas que trazem descrédito à obra consumada de Cristo.
Jesus leu no meio da sinagoga a porção da escritura que falava do propósito da unção sobre Sua vida…
(Lucas 4:18 )”O Espírito do Senhor está sobre mim, porque ele me ungiu para pregar boas novas aos pobres. Ele me enviou para proclamar liberdade aos presos e recuperação da vista aos cegos, para libertar os oprimidos
O propósito da unção vai além de desfrutar da Presença de Deus; de fato, as visitas divinas do Espírito de Deus vêm para nos autorizar, capacitar, encorajar, comunicar e nos animar espiritualmente a cumprir nosso propósito ordenado por Deus.
Uma visita divina do Senhor exigirá que Pedro coma o que nunca comeu antes; Uma visitação divina do Senhor repreenderá Pedro por chamar de “impuro” aquilo que Deus purificou.
A cultura apostólica/profética discordará de um regime religioso que tenta colocar condições para a salvação e o enchimento do Espírito Santo; um regime que deseja franquear o dom de Deus em relação à salvação e redenção de todos aqueles que crerem.
Estamos perfeitamente cientes da guerra atual que os líderes estão enfrentando globalmente. Para aqueles que estão comprometidos com a luta, não podemos ficar trancados em tocas, cavernas e outros redutos. Declare o corpo da verdade que o Senhor nos confiou.
Jesus foi o PRINCIPAL DISSIDENTE
Uma pesquisa pública revelou que as pessoas pensavam que Jesus era Elias, João Batista ou Jeremias. Todos esses são homens enviados por Deus para chamar as pessoas ao arrependimento e desviar seus corações da idolatria e voltar ao coração do Pai. A percepção do povo revela a realidade de que Jesus manifestou todos os traços característicos de Elias, João Batista e Jeremias. Jesus não se intimidou com os rostos de sua audiência.
Em meio à intensa perseguição aos discípulos na Ásia Menor, Paulo escreve a seu filho Timóteo de um local de prisão. Ele está claramente preocupado com a sobrevivência de Timóteo durante esses tempos perigosos.
Paulo poderia ter instruído Timóteo a se esconder. Timóteo representava o investimento, a semente e o legado de Paulo; ele levaria a mensagem e a doutrina de Paulo para a próxima geração.
Os pais espirituais carregam o mesmo fardo por seus filhos espirituais.
O ministério de Paulo na Ásia Menor está sob intensa perseguição, onde a cidade de Roma está literalmente em chamas e os discípulos foram acusados de incêndio criminoso e foram presos e mortos indiscriminadamente usando métodos de extrema violência, como alimentar leões e cães selvagens com os corpos dos discípulos ( símbolo de um regime religioso) e queimando seus corpos para serem usados como tochas humanas.
Este é o primeiro exemplo de manipulação em relação a reputação e integridade dos discípulos do Senhor. Jezabel usou a técnica de manipulação para tomar o campo de Nabote usando canalhas como falsas testemunhas.
Nero viu uma excelente oportunidade para desacreditar Paulo, os discípulos do Senhor e sua mensagem, acusando os cristãos do incêndio de Roma. O fogo transmitido pelos discípulos do Senhor está em seus ossos e é liberado quando as escrituras são abertas. Isso começa a arder no coração do público e é esse fogo que faria com que a mulher samaritana que encontrou Jesus corresse para sua cidade e impactasse muitos samaritanos naquela cidade, e seu testemunho os levou a acreditar em Jesus.
Este é o “incêndio” causado pelos discípulos do Senhor sem deixar uma pegada de carbono.
(Lucas 24:32) Perguntaram-se um ao outro: “Não estavam ardendo os nossos corações dentro de nós, enquanto ele nos falava no caminho e nos expunha as Escrituras? “
Não estamos queimando cidades e redes como alguns observadores podem supor. Nosso desejo é que os corações queimem por Jesus quando abrimos as escrituras

(2 Timóteo 1:13-16) Retenha, com fé e amor em Cristo Jesus, o modelo da sã doutrina que você ouviu de mim. Quanto ao bom depósito, guarde-o por meio do Espírito Santo que habita em nós. Você sabe que todos os da província da Ásia me abandonaram, inclusive Fígelo e Hermógenes. MANTER FIRME O PADRÃO DAS SÃS PALAVRAS
Paulo instrui Timóteo a se apegar ao padrão das sãs palavras. O significado em hebraico de “segurar” é guardar e proteger; para fixar nossa atenção em
Paulo, o pai espiritual de Timóteo, é o portador das sãs palavras que teriam sido transmitidas a Timóteo. A doutrina do Pai espiritual torna-se a doutrina do Filho. É assim que funciona o odre pai/filho. A doutrina de Jesus veio de Seu Pai.
(João 7:15-16) Os judeus ficaram admirados e perguntaram: “Como foi que este homem adquiriu tanta instrução, sem ter estudado? ” Jesus respondeu: “O meu ensino não é de mim mesmo. Vem daquele que me enviou.
Mesmo que toda a cidade esteja em chamas, os discípulos do Senhor devem “reter-se”
Não devemos ser intimidados por nossas circunstâncias em nenhuma época a ponto de abandonarmos a busca por uma doutrina forte.
A palavra grega para “som”, em relação à doutrina, significa … “verdadeiro, puro, incorrupto”
Durante esse tempo, Paulo experimentou a perda de toda uma comunidade de discípulos na Ásia que Paulo havia claramente discipulado. O intenso peso da perseguição e a prisão e encarceramento de Paulo fizeram com que muitos crentes se distanciassem de Paulo e de sua mensagem. Este é o enorme custo de pregar a verdade do evangelho. A rejeição de Paulo é uma rejeição da “cultura e padrão das sãs palavras (doutrina). As escrituras declaram que não foram apenas alguns discípulos que abandonaram Paulo.
“todos os que estão na Ásia se afastaram de mim”
Em segundo lugar, Paulo instrui Timóteo, durante este tempo de guerra, a “seguir as regras” (Doutrina da Palavra de Deus)

Examinemos mais de perto esta ilustração de Paulo “jogando de acordo com as regras”. Padrão de sãs palavras – sã doutrina. Usando a ilustração de Paulo, a sã doutrina é representada nas linhas que marcam o campo de jogo.
Onde um campo esportivo não está claramente marcado, não podemos impor as regras do jogo. Na verdade, você pode driblar onde quiser Onde não há sã doutrina, os crentes são capazes de mudar as traves de acordo com sua agenda e estratégia pessoal.

Por exemplo, a doutrina do odre pai/filho.
Como avaliamos a implementação bem-sucedida dessa doutrina? Não é assim que o aplicamos em nossas próprias casas ou famílias; nossa compreensão da doutrina é revelada em como a aplicamos na casa ou esfera de outro homem. A prática da aplicação seletiva da doutrina traz descrédito à imparcialidade da sã doutrina.
A prática de contornar o conjunto homem/pai espiritual sobre uma casa ou família é uma ofensa estilo CARTÃO VERMELHO. Isso demonstra um total desrespeito aos protocolos da doutrina.
A demanda é oferecer ajuda ao líder de uma família sem cobiçar ou desejar assumir a propriedade/liderança do ministério de outro homem.
Os resultados corporativos desejados são possíveis por meio da transparência e clareza em nossas negociações. Os líderes devem tentar recuperar o desejo de sentar à mesa para negociar estratégias e soluções. Os portadores da graça podem trabalhar juntos para alcançar um resultado corporativo enquanto observam as regras acordadas de associação.
Alianças imprecisas Seria extremamente desafiador para Salomão alcançar a “unidade” em seu harém de 700 esposas, princesas e 300 concubinas. Essas mulheres estrangeiras representavam uma cultura politeísta.

Nossa busca por inclusão (unidade) tem limites. Não inclui alianças que exigem direitos conjugais, com aqueles que nos afastarão de Deus e do padrão da sã doutrina. Isso representa um jugo desigual. Salomão “se apegou a essas alianças”. Também devemos ser cautelosos quando estamos envolvidos na construção de movimentos de “unidade” em nossa esfera de influência. Quanto maior a paixão pela inclusão, mais terreno doutrinário teremos que abrir mão.
King David had a clear understanding of the sovereignty and proprietary ownership and rulership of Almighty God as the Creator of all of heaven and the earth and its fullness. This reality is incontestable and inescapable.
Psalms 24:1 The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.2 For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters.
He understood the dominion mandate given to man through Adam ……….
Genesis 1:28 “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
However, the soul of David also embraces the reality that the earth, its resources and its people have been placed under the rule of human governance. The inhabitants of the earth have access to legitimate ownership of property; sons of God during Biblical times regarded land as an inheritance from the Lord.
With this in mind, we will consider some transactions negotiated by kings like David and Ahab.
David insisted on paying for the threshing floor of Ornan to construct an altar to the Lord so that the plague would be stopped.
1 Chronicles 21:22 Then David said to Ornan, “Grant me the place of this threshing floor, that I may build an altar on it to the LORD. You shall grant it to me at the full price, that the plague may be withdrawn from the people.” 23 But Ornan said to David, “Take it to yourself, and let my lord the king do what is good in his eyes. Look, I also give you the oxen for burnt offerings, the threshing implements for wood, and the wheat for the grain offering; I give it all.” 24 Then King David said to Ornan, “No, but I will surely buy it for the full price, for I will not take what is yours for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings with that which costs me nothing.” 25 So David gave Ornan six hundred shekels of gold by weight for the place. 26 And David built there an altar to the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called on the LORD; and He answered him from heaven by fire on the altar of burnt offering.
David could have accepted the property as a gift offering by Ornan, his loyal subject. Not only was David a duly appointed king by the people, but more significantly David was God’s chosen king. David could have declared as a king his royal right to enforce the law of eminent domain.
What is eminent domain?
Eminent domain refers to the power of the government to take private property and convert it into public use. In the USA the Fifth Amendment provides that the government may only exercise this power if they provide just compensation to the owners of the property. This process is called a “taking”. A taking may be the actual seizure of property by the government, or the taking may be in the form of a regulatory taking, which occurs when the government restricts a person’s use of their property to the point of it constituting a taking. Long before the international “law of eminent domain” was formalised, the soul of a king “after God’s own heart” would determine David’s response.
We see David speak about the necessity of truth in the inward parts (soul)

The following statement is an extract from an article written by The Institute of Faith and Economics concerning acquisition of property that was originally published in the Journal of Markets and morality.
“The eighth commandment, while one of the two shortest in the Decalogue (Exodus 20:15; Deuteronomy 5:19), taught that stealing was not only taking another person’s property, but it also included all forms of coercion, fraud, or taking another person’s possessions or property without consent, along with all forms of cheating or harming property by destroying its value in one way or another. Thus theft involved the following: robbing victims directly; using indirect and legal means of gaining benefits not deserved; or by being part of a corporate group that steals, even though you are not a knowing party of all that is going on”
Even King Ahab, who was notorious for doing evil in the eyes of the Lord, applied the principle of eminent dominion in his first offer to purchase the property of his neighbour Naboth. King Ahab went to Naboth with a “more than reasonable” offer to acquire his property or trade the vineyard of Naboth for something better.
1 Kings 21:1 And it came to pass after these things that Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard which was in Jezreel, next to the palace of Ahab king of Samaria. 2 So Ahab spoke to Naboth, saying, “Give me your vineyard, that I may have it for a vegetable garden, because it is near, next to my house; and for it I will give you a vineyard better than it. Or, if it seems good to you, I will give you its worth in money.” 3 But Naboth said to Ahab, “The LORD forbid that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!”
Naboth did not accept the offer because he recognised the vineyard as an inheritance from God passed down the generations. Ahab, on the other hand, recognised it as an expansion to his “fixed asset/property portfolio”
In both cases, what was remarkable was the enormous respect for the citizens in the Kingdom that brought kings to a place of humility to negotiate offers to trade or purchase.
We see another example of respect, honor and integrity in the way David requests provisions from Nabal. David sends a delegation of ten young men to negotiate with Nabal.
1 Samuel 25:5-8 5 David sent ten young men; and David said to the young men, “Go up to Carmel, go to Nabal, and greet him in my name. 6 And thus you shall say to him who lives in prosperity: Peace be to you, peace to your house, and peace to all that you have! 7 Now I have heard that you have shearers. Your shepherds were with us, and we did not hurt them, nor was there anything missing from them all the while they were in Carmel. 8 Ask your young men, and they will tell you. Therefore let my young men find favor in your eyes, for we come on a feast day. Please give whatever comes to your hand to your servants and to your son David.’ ”
Blatant disregard for the culture of God’s people, confiscation (possession without negotiation or compensation) of fields is not consistent with the scriptures
Exodus 20:15 Thou shalt not steal
This relates to anything that the Lord has entrusted to a person. Jesus Himself instructs His disciples on righteous conduct in that which is another man’s. The use of the word “steal” simultaneously validates the concept of ownership; the understanding that God recognises man’s rights to legal ownership on the earth. There can be no stealing unless there is ownership.
Jesus reinforces the reality that there are resources that belong to “another man”. Believers walk into “ownership” when they have demonstrated their integrity in that which has been given to “another man”
Luke 16:12 And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own? 13 “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”
It is a sin to covet that which has been given to another man.
Exodus 20:17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”
Jesus’ new commandment prohibits by its inference any form of violation of the demands of Exodus 20; one of the ways that disciples demonstrate their love for one another is to maintain integrity in their relationships.

Davi poderia ter aceitado a propriedade como uma oferta de presente de Ornã, seu súdito leal. Davi não foi apenas um rei devidamente nomeado pelo povo, mas, mais significativamente, Davi foi o rei escolhido por Deus. Davi poderia ter declarado como rei seu direito real de impor a lei de domínio eminente.

1 Reis 21:1-3 E aconteceu, depois destas coisas, que Nabote, o jezreelita, possuía uma vinha que estava em Jezreel, perto do palácio de Acabe, rei de Samaria. Então Acabe falou a Nabote, dizendo: “Dá-me a tua vinha, para que eu a transforme em horta, porque está perto, perto de minha casa; e por ela te darei uma vinha melhor do que ela. Ou, se te parecer bem, eu te darei o valor em dinheiro.” Mas Nabote disse a Acabe: “O Senhor me livre de dar a você a herança de meus pais!”
Nabote não aceitou a oferta porque reconheceu a vinha como uma herança de Deus transmitida de geração em geração. Acabe, por outro lado, reconheceu isso como uma expansão de sua “carteira de ativos fixos/propriedades”
Em ambos os casos, o que foi notável foi o enorme respeito pelos cidadãos do Reino que levou os reis a um lugar de humildade para negociar ofertas de comércio ou compra.
Vemos outro exemplo de respeito, honra e integridade na forma como Davi pede provisões a Nabal. Davi envia uma delegação de dez jovens para negociar com Nabal.
1 Samuel 25:5-8 Davi enviou dez jovens; Davi disse aos jovens: “Subam ao Carmelo, vão a Nabal e cumprimentem-no em meu nome. E assim dirás àquele que vive na prosperidade: Paz seja contigo, paz com a tua casa e paz com tudo o que tens! Ouvi dizer que vocês têm tosquiadores. Seus pastores estavam conosco, e nós não os machucamos, nem nada lhes faltou durante todo o tempo em que estiveram no Carmelo. Pergunte aos seus jovens, e eles lhe dirão. Portanto, deixe meus jovens encontrarem graça aos seus olhos, pois chegamos em um dia de festa. Por favor, dê o que vier à sua mão aos seus servos e ao seu filho Davi.’”
Desrespeito flagrante pela cultura do povo de Deus, confisco (posse sem negociação ou compensação) de campos não é consistente com as escrituras
Êxodo 20:15 Não furtarás
Isso se refere a qualquer coisa que o Senhor tenha confiado a uma pessoa. O próprio Jesus instrui Seus discípulos sobre a conduta correta naquilo que é de outro homem. A utilização da palavra “roubar” valida simultaneamente o conceito de propriedade; o entendimento de que Deus reconhece os direitos do homem à propriedade legal na terra. Não pode haver roubo a menos que haja propriedade.
Jesus reforça a realidade de que existem recursos que pertencem a “outro homem”. Os crentes entram na “propriedade” quando demonstram sua integridade naquilo que foi dado a “outro homem”
Lucas 16:12-13 E, se não fostes fiéis no que é dos outros, quem vos dará o que é vosso? “Nenhum servo pode servir a dois senhores; pois ou ele odiará um e amará o outro, ou será leal a um e desprezará o outro. Você não pode servir a Deus e a Mamom”.
É pecado cobiçar o que foi dado a outro homem.
Êxodo 20:17 “Não cobiçarás a casa do teu próximo; não cobiçarás a mulher do teu próximo, nem o seu servo, nem a sua serva, nem o seu boi, nem o seu jumento, nem coisa alguma do teu próximo”.
O novo mandamento de Jesus proíbe por sua inferência qualquer forma de violação das exigências de Êxodo 20; uma das maneiras pelas quais os discípulos demonstram seu amor uns pelos outros é manter a integridade em seus relacionamentos.

I have been speaking about the departure of the Glory of God from the Second Temple.
Inspite of all the building work and physical refurbishing of the Temple, the Glory of God would not dwell in a building made with human hands; He has chosen to dwell in and among His people who are growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom we are also being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
John 17:22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
One of the principal purposes of the Glory is for believers to come into oneness; God could not achieve this through the Second Temple that was built with human hands.
It could only be achieved through Christ, our Hope of Glory, living in and among His disciples.
We know that the Glory that the Eternal Father had invested in His Son Jesus is transmitted by Jesus to His disciples who have KEPT HIS WORD. We will find all of this in John 17.
That word “kept” means to guard very securely, like a jailor would keep a watchful eye on his prisoner, and most importantly it means to obey – to bring the word that was entrusted to us to a place of fulfilment
The Glory is not squandered, but it is entrusted to a remnant of disciples, those who have tenaciously kept the Word of the Lord under ALL circumstances and have endured being hated and persecuted by the world. All this is found in Jesus’ prayer in John 17
God does not misappropriate His Glory
Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.
With this in mind I would like us to refer to the third letter of John Chapter 1, verses 2-4
Let us first establish the physical location of John when he wrote this letter.
Because of John’s radical witness of Jesus as the Messiah and Saviour, he attracted many enemies who reported him to the Roman authorities making false accusations against him, saying that his doctrines divided the nation.
Let us be clear about this; The entirety of the Word of God is TRUTH
And the declaration of TRUTH will divide any environment, be it home, church, school, workplace, family.
But it is the “keeping (obeying) of the Word” that attracts the Glory of the Lord
The Glory of God is His unchanging essence. Giving glory to God is ascribing to Him His full recognition, His reputation, praise, honor, splendor, light, perfection (CWSB Dictionary)
John, was advanced in his years and he survived brutal torture at the hands of the Roman regime and he was eventually banished to the Isle of Patmos
It was from this isolated wilderness that John wrote his letter to Gaius, who appeared to be a person in a position of authority over a remnant of believers whom John had described as his “spiritual children”
3 John 1: 2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
The prosperity that God delights in should touch every area of our lives, including our health and our soul.
We will focus on Verses 3 and 4 in this article.

Apostle John was advanced in his years; a spiritual father who had raised many sons in Christ. John reveals his heart concerning the source of the greatest joy to apostolic fathers.
John had an intimate relationship with the Truth (Christ Jesus). He writes about this in the very first letter, the first chapter, in the opening verses.
1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.
The apostle John saw, touched and handled TRUTH
The apostle John refers to these believers as “my children” inferring that he had conferred “fathering grace” over them and that he had oversight over them
Not only does the apostle John desire his spiritual children to be materially and financially prosperous, he also desires the souls of his children to prosper and to be in good spiritual condition
4 I have no greater joy
This is a declaration by a father concerning the thing that brings him the greatest joy
“To hear that my children walk in truth”
This is BEYOND being educated in the knowledge of the scriptures
This is to WALK IN THE TRUTH
We are not impressed by how we practice doctrine in our own house
We evaluate the integrity of leadership in how we practice doctrine in another man’s sphere
John was in exile – living far away from his spiritual sons
Yet he receives a wonderful, encouraging report concerning his spiritual sons, regarding their uncompromising walk in the truth
To a apostolic father like John – there is NO GREATER JOY
There are many things that contribute to a parent’s joy……….
• academic success of the child
• success in the marketplace
• material and financial prosperity
• Success in relationships
• Houses and cars
• talents and skills
But for fathers like John, this is the pinnacle of Joy – the ultimate expression of joy..
There is no greater joy
Than to hear our children walking in the truth
(The entirety of God’s Word is truth)
The road to “walking in truth” is filled with challenges and persecution –
James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
Jesus prayed …….
John 17:14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
The Son of God taught the Word of the Father
For this, He was hated. Whilst we are carriers of Divine Intelligence, we do not expect to be loved by those who are indoctrinated by the ways of this world.

Tenho falado sobre a saída da Glória de Deus do Segundo Templo.
Apesar de todo o trabalho de construção e reforma física do Templo, a Glória de Deus não habitaria em um edifício feito por mãos humanas; Ele escolheu habitar em e entre Seu povo que está crescendo em um templo santo no Senhor, no qual também estamos sendo edificados juntos para uma morada de Deus no Espírito.
João 17:22 E a glória que me deste, eu lhes dei, para que sejam um, assim como nós somos um:
Um dos principais propósitos da Glória é que os crentes cheguem à unidade; Deus não poderia conseguir isso através do Segundo Templo que foi construído por mãos humanas.
Isso só poderia ser alcançado por meio de Cristo, nossa Esperança da Glória, vivendo em e entre Seus discípulos.
Sabemos que a Glória que o Pai Eterno investiu em Seu Filho Jesus é transmitida por Jesus aos Seus discípulos que MANTIVERAM A SUA PALAVRA. Encontraremos tudo isso em João 17.
Essa palavra “MANTER” significa guardar com muita segurança, como um carcereiro vigiaria seu prisioneiro e, o mais importante, significa obedecer – levar a palavra que nos foi confiada a um lugar de cumprimento
A Glória não é desperdiçada, mas é confiada a um remanescente de discípulos, aqueles que tenazmente guardaram a Palavra do Senhor em TODAS as circunstâncias e suportaram ser odiados e perseguidos pelo mundo. Tudo isso é encontrado na oração de Jesus em João 17.
Deus não se apropria indevidamente de Sua glória
Isaías 42:8 Eu sou o Senhor, este é o meu nome; E a minha glória não darei a outrem, nem o meu louvor às imagens esculpidas.
Com isso em mente, gostaria que nos referíssemos à terceira carta de João, capítulo 1, versículos 2-4
Vamos primeiro estabelecer a localização física de João quando ele escreveu esta carta.
Por causa do testemunho radical de João sobre Jesus como o Messias e Salvador, ele atraiu muitos inimigos que o denunciaram às autoridades romanas fazendo falsas acusações contra ele, dizendo que suas doutrinas dividiam a nação.
Sejamos claros sobre isso; A TOTALIDADE DA PALAVRA DE DEUS É A VERDADE.
E a declaração da VERDADE dividirá qualquer ambiente, seja o lar, a igreja, a escola, o local de trabalho, a família.
Mas é o “guardar (obedecer) à Palavra” que atrai a Glória do Senhor
A Glória de Deus é Sua essência imutável. Dar glória a Deus é atribuir a Ele Seu pleno reconhecimento, Sua reputação, louvor, honra, esplendor, luz, perfeição (Dicionário CWSB)
João, era avançado em seus anos e sobreviveu a torturas brutais nas mãos do regime romano e acabou sendo banido para a Ilha de Patmos
Foi desse deserto isolado que João escreveu sua carta a Gaio, que parecia ser uma pessoa em posição de autoridade sobre um remanescente de crentes que João havia descrito como seus “filhos espirituais”.
3 João 1: 2 Amado, desejo que você vá bem em todas as coisas e tenha saúde, assim como vai bem a sua alma. 3 Pois muito me alegrei quando os irmãos vieram e testificaram da verdade que está em vocês, assim como vocês andam na verdade. 4 Não tenho maior alegria do que ouvir que meus filhos andam na verdade.
A prosperidade que agrada a Deus deve tocar todas as áreas de nossas vidas, inclusive nossa saúde e nossa alma.
Vamos nos concentrar nos versículos 3 e 4 neste artigo.
3 João 1:3 Pois muito me alegrei quando os irmãos vieram e testificaram da verdade que há em vocês, assim como vocês andam na verdade. 4 Não tenho maior alegria do que ouvir que meus filhos andam na verdade.
O apóstolo João era avançado em idade; um pai espiritual que criou muitos filhos em Cristo. João revela seu coração sobre a fonte da maior alegria aos pais apostólicos.
João tinha um relacionamento íntimo com a Verdade (Cristo Jesus). Ele escreve sobre isso logo na primeira carta, no primeiro capítulo, nos versículos iniciais.
1 João 1:1 O que era desde o princípio, o que ouvimos, o que vimos com os nossos olhos, o que contemplamos e as nossas mãos apalparam acerca do Verbo da vida — 2 a vida se manifestou, e nós vimos, e testemunhamos, e declaramos a vocês aquela vida eterna que estava com o Pai e nos foi manifestada — 3 o que vimos e ouvimos, nós vos declaramos, para que vocês também tenham comunhão conosco; e verdadeiramente nossa comunhão é com o Pai e com Seu Filho Jesus Cristo. 4 E estas coisas vos escrevemos para que a vossa alegria seja completa.
O apóstolo João viu, tocou e manuseou a VERDADE
O apóstolo João refere-se a esses crentes como “meus filhos”, inferindo que ele havia conferido “graça paternal” sobre eles e que tinha supervisão sobre eles.
O apóstolo João não apenas deseja que seus filhos espirituais sejam material e financeiramente prósperos, mas também deseja que as almas de seus filhos prosperem e estejam em boas condições espirituais.
4 Não tenho alegria maior
Esta é uma declaração de um pai sobre o que lhe traz maior alegria
“Ouvir que meus filhos andam na verdade”
Isso está ALÉM de ser educado no conhecimento das escrituras
Isso é ANDAR NA VERDADE
Não estamos impressionados com a forma como praticamos a doutrina em nossa própria casa
Avaliamos a integridade da liderança em como praticamos a doutrina na esfera de outro homem
João estava no exílio – vivendo longe de seus filhos espirituais
No entanto, ele recebe um relatório maravilhoso e encorajador a respeito de seus filhos espirituais, a respeito de sua caminhada inflexível na verdade.
Para um pai apostólico como João – NÃO HÁ MAIOR ALEGRIA
Há muitas coisas que contribuem para a alegria dos pais……….
• Sucesso escolar da criança
• Sucesso no mercado de trabalho
• Prosperidade material e financeira
• Sucesso nos relacionamentos
• Casas e carros
• Talentos e habilidades
Mas para pais como João, este é o ápice da Alegria – a expressão máxima da alegria.
Não há alegria maior
Do que ouvir nossos filhos andando na verdade
(A totalidade da Palavra de Deus é a verdade)
O caminho para “andar na verdade” é cheio de desafios e perseguições –
Tiago 1:2 Meus irmãos, considerem motivo de grande alegria o fato de passarem por várias provações, 3 sabendo que a prova da sua fé produz paciência.
Jesus orou …….
João 17:14 Dei-lhes a tua palavra; e o mundo os odiou porque não são do mundo, assim como eu não sou do mundo.
O Filho de Deus ensinou a Palavra do Pai
Por isso, Ele foi odiado. Embora sejamos portadores da Inteligência Divina, não esperamos ser amados por aqueles que são doutrinados pelos caminhos deste mundo.
The entrance into every New Year presents us with an opportunity to review, reset and reposition our lives and ministry in accordance with the will of the Father
We must not be depressed by failed strategies – it simply reveals those things that do not work
Secular leaders, especially those in the corporate arena are very good in abandoning strategies that do not work. They are quick to identify strategies that are not sustainable because they have only ONLY thing in mind – PROFITABILITY
They demonstrate no hesitancy, no pride, no regret in shelving plans or adjusting strategies that need revision
Please note that we are talking about human strategies that are formulated outside of God and His Word
We are NOT talking about the Word of God because the Word of God does not return void. It shall accomplish what pleases God. And it shall prosper in the thing for which God has sent it
The experience we gained in 2022 gives us access to an important resource called HINDSIGHT
Laban said ….. “I have learned by experience that the LORD has blessed me for your sake.” (Genesis 30:27)
Laban declared “In hindsight he has learned”
Definition of hindsight the ability to understand, after something has happened, what should have been done or what caused the event (Extracted from Dictionary.com)
The scriptures are filled with a variety of acts and events; every instruction and command is to equip the believer to come to a place of completion.
When we apply our hindsight together with a vibrant collaboration with the Holy Spirit, this will enable us to understand those things that we may not have fully understood before and will also help develop our foresight
I will give you an example. This morning I would like to talk about the Second Temple with specific reference to the departure of the Glory of God.
The prophet Ezekiel was sitting and talking with the elders of Judah when the Spirit of God lifted him and gave him access to visions concerning the spiritual condition of God’s people.
DO YOU SEE WHAT THEY ARE DOING ?
An apostolic/prophetic company that is accountable to God is able to accurately discern and evaluate the spiritual condition of His people and to refer His people back to His Word that is able to ignite their desire for realignment
Ezekiel 8:6 Furthermore He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary? Now turn again, you will see greater abominations.”
God is provoked to such an extent that He has decided to go “far away” from His sanctuary.
When God speaks in this way, it is easy to believe that we are created in His image.
His servants feel the same way when the people of God that God has entrusted to them succumb to worship at idolatrous, polytheistic altars that are hostile to the worship of the One true God, which is expressed through the Holy Trinity.
Believers must take ownership for their provoking the servants of God.
Exodus 23:20 “Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. 21 Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him. 22 But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. 23 For My Angel will go before you and bring you in to the Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Canaanites and the Hivites and the Jebusites; and I will cut them off. 24 You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their works; but you shall utterly overthrow them and completely break down their sacred pillars.
Hindsight will determine how we relate to a reconstruction of a Second Temple that does not have the Ark of God (the indwelling Presence (Shekinah), the weight, splendour and majesty of the Glory of God.
For example ….. The returning Jews and Old Testament scholars may refer to this Temple as Zerubabel’s Temple
Citizens in the region may refer to the Temple simply as the Second Temple
Those living during the time of Herod, the king of Judea appointed by Rome, would have referred to the Temple as the Temple of Herod
Jesus, who began His ministry during the reign of Herod, would have referred to the Temple as The Temple of the Fox
This perception would have been shared by His disciples who walked with Jesus at that time. Hindsight will reveal “Herodian” operating systems in present day leadership structures.
Jesus told the Pharisees ……..
Luke 13:32 And He said to them, “Go, tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.’
That is exactly what Jesus thought of Herod. Jesus was operating on His Father’s timeline and according to His Father’s mandate. Herod attempted to treat Jesus as a common, violator of the Mosaic Laws that allowed Herod to issue threats of death. In hindsight, Herod is not a single person, but he is representative of a principality that seeks to abort the demonstration of God’s love and desire for the salvation and redemption of humanity. Jesus came to die, and death would occur on the Cross. Herod was part of God’s plan in Jesus’ journey to the Cross.
Jesus further referred to the Second Temple as a den (in the absence of the Shekinah Glory of God, the Temple can become a habitation for foxes)
This is a natural progression and consequence when the Glory of God leaves the Temple (Father’s House)
Were the “foxes” actually jackals? The same Hebrew word can be used interchangeably for either a fox or a jackal. They belong to the “Canidae” family (Reference britannica.com)
Jesus reference to Herod as a fox is directly related to Jeremiah’s prophecy ……
Jeremiah 9:11 “I will make Jerusalem a heap of ruins, a den of jackals. I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.”
We can read Ezekiel chapters 8, 9 and 10 for a comprehensive list of the abominations of the people of God.
HINDSIGHT INFORMS US THAT CHRIST IS THE RADIANCE OF THE GLORY OF THE FATHER WHO CAME IN THE FLESH AND DWELT AMONG MEN. CHRIST IS THE PERFECT IMPRINT OF THE FATHER’S ESSENCE
All our construction efforts of the spiritual, holy Temple relates to the construction of the believer to carry and reveal the Glory of the Lord that has been given to the Lord’s disciples to enable them to function in a world that is covered in deep darkness and also to reveal their oneness. (John 17:22)
Ephesians 2:21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
CHRIST IS THE GLORY OF THE FATHER Various translations of Hebrew 1:3
Hebrews 1:3 Who, being the outshining of his glory, the true image of his substance, supporting all things by the word of his power, having given himself as an offering making clean from sins, took his seat at the right hand of God in heaven (Basic English Bible)
Hebrews 1:3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high (New King James Version)
Hebrews 1:3 This Son is the radiance of the Sh’khinah, the very expression of God’s essence, upholding all that exists by his powerful word; and after he had, through himself, made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of HaG’dulah BaM’romim. (Complete Jewish Bible)
Disciples of the Lord receive the Glory because they have kept His Word and have endured the persecution and hatred of the world. The Glory brings Divine immunity to resist persecution as we constitute ourselves into becoming the remnant of the Lord, representing His essence, the outshining of His radiance.
Jesus informs the Pharisees
Matthew 12:6 Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple.
THE MANIFESTATION OF THE GLORY THROUGH JESUS
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
We have to activate the process of decentralisation for the whole earth to be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD
This was promised by the Prophet Isaiah ……
Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; For your light has come!And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. 2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. 3 The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
In the midst of GLOBAL DEEP DARKNESS The visible manifestation of the Glory of God will be revealed through the disciples of the Lord
A word of encouragement to the disciples of the Lord
Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
THE EVENTS SURROUNDING THE DEPARTURE OF THE GLORY OF GOD
Let us now sit back and apply hindsight to examine the events surrounding the departure of the Shekinah Glory of God that dwelt between the cherubim
After the foundation of the Second Temple was laid, there was a mixed sound in the dedication celebration, the priests and the Levites and the heads of the fathers’ houses, old men who had seen the first Temple may have had great expectations but instead they ended up weeping …..
No one could understand why the these old men were weeping in the midst of what was meant to be an incredible moment in the process of restoring the Temple
IN SPITE OF THE PHYSICAL DEMONSTRATION OF ONENESS IN JERUSALEM – YET THERE WAS A NOTICEABLE ABSENCE OF THE GLORY OF GOD
The scriptures state that when the seventh month had come, the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered together as one man to Jerusalem.
Ezra 3:12 But many of the priests and Levites and heads of the fathers’ houses, old men who had seen the first temple, wept with a loud voice when the foundation of this temple was laid before their eyes. Yet many shouted aloud for joy, 13 so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people, for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the sound was heard afar off.
The priests and Levites and heads of the fathers’ houses who were old men, had the benefit of HINDSIGHT which the younger people who were rejoicing did not possess
Hindsight produces experiential wisdom

Zerubabel and the others were building a house for God that God had no interest in dwelling in. The Glory of God, the SHEKINAH glory is the visible manifestation of the Presence of God among men on the earth.
These old men knew how God had led His people in the wilderness
Exodus 40:34 Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 35 And Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the cloud rested above it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
These old men knew about the Glory that filled the Temple of Solomon …
2 Chronicles 7: 1 When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the temple. 2 And the priests could not enter the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD’s house. 3 When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD on the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised the LORD, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever.” 4 Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD.
Yet during the dedication and celebration for the foundation of the Temple, there was the noticeable absence of the Shekinah Glory of God
Hindsight will inform us, in this present day, that the global deep darkness has to make way for the brilliance and the outshining and the radiance of the SHEKINAH Glory of God that would appear through the disciples of the Lord as they declare His Word that would dispel darkness!
GOD IS A JEALOUS GOD
God will not outsource the governance of His people to heathen nations. During the time of Solomon’s Temple, God’s people were under the governance of God and His Laws. Israel was a theocracy. The covenant God established at Sinai is meant to produce a people who were governed by God’s laws under a leadership called and sanctioned by God
Exodus 20:3 “You shall have no other gods before Me. 4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
Jeremiah 30:22 ‘You shall be My people, And I will be your God.’ ”
Jesus encapsulates the demands of God in the New Covenant

Basically the scriptures state that the Lord will not compete for the affections and loyalty of His people
If we examine Paul’s statement in his letter to the Romans …..
The Apostle Paul is living from the Glory of God – Christ in Him, the Hope of Glory
Paul refers to himself as a Bondservant of Christ, in other words, Paul is chained to the Glory of the Father
Yet he declared himself “a wretched man”
Romans 7:24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!
Paul lived a totally consecrated life, yet he declared himself a “wretched man”. When we are bondservants of the Glory of God, of the brilliant radiance of the exact imprint of God ….,.
We can only declare like Paul …. ” wretched man that I am”
When we function from the radiance and the outshining of His Glory our own righteousness will appear as filthy rags to God and ourselves.
People of God become the vassals of Heathen Leadership
During the period of the Second Temple the people of God were submitted to the foreign governance of Persians, Greeks, and the Romans
The Roman governors allowed lawlessness to reign. We know about the Assyrian onslaught and the siege of Jerusalem and God’s people.
High Priests formed their own Temple militias and regimes to exercise a firm grip on the Temple
ACCOUNTABILITY OF THE LORD’S SHEPHERDS
John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 12 But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. 13 The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep.
Leaders do not own the sheep, but they are certainly accountable for them. We are not expected to flee at the sight of the wolf; we are called to defend and protect the sheep from the wolves and other predators.
If we examine all the abominations committed by the people of God that Ezekiel was shown, we conclude that the overarching problem God had with His people was simply a matter of their hearts.
This is true today as it was thousands of years ago.
Jesus refers to the utterances of Isaiah when He addressed the scribes and the Pharisees
Matthew 15:8 ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 9 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
Ezra evaluated the situation and he resolved in his heart to seek the Lord
Ezra 7:10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel.
Ezra recognised the dire need for the people to reconnect to the Word of the Lord. In this present day, in these perilous times, believers need to return to doctrine
We need to be reminded of the things that matter to God; things that can help us to grow into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
RESTORATION OF THE ARTICLES OF GOLD AND SILVER IN THE TEMPLE DID NOT CAUSE THE GLORY OF GOD TO RETURN
Some observers may have thought that the old men, priests and Levites and heads of the fathers’ houses were weeping because of the absence of the articles of gold and silver.
All these articles were recovered and brought back.
Ezra 6:5 Also let the gold and silver articles of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took from the temple which is in Jerusalem and brought to Babylon, be restored and taken back to the temple which is in Jerusalem, each to its place; and deposit them in the house of God”—
The Shekinah Glory of God was gone. It has nothing to do with the opulent display of gold and silver. The people of God have pushed God to the point of Him leaving the Temple made with human hands.

Definição de retrospectiva a capacidade de entender, depois que algo aconteceu, o que deveria ter sido feito ou o que causou o evento ( Extraído do Dictionary.com )
As escrituras são preenchidas com uma variedade de atos e eventos; toda instrução e comando é equipar o crente para chegar a um local de conclusão.
Quando aplicamos nossa retrospectiva juntamente com uma vibrante colaboração com o Espírito Santo, isso nos permitirá entender as coisas que talvez não tenhamos entendido completamente antes e também ajudará a desenvolver nossa previsão
Vou te dar um exemplo. Hoje de manhã, gostaria de falar sobre o Segundo Templo, com referência específica à partida da Glória de Deus.
O profeta Ezequiel estava sentado e conversando com os anciãos de Judá quando o Espírito de Deus o levantou e lhe deu acesso a visões relativas à condição espiritual do povo de Deus.
VOCÊ VÊ O QUE ESTÃO FAZENDO ?
Uma apostólico companhia profética que é responsável perante Deus é capaz de discernir e avaliar com precisão a condição espiritual de Seu povo e encaminhar Seu povo de volta à Sua Palavra, capaz de inflamar sua desejo de realinhamento
Ezequiel 8: 6 Além disso, ele me disse: “ Filho do homem, você vê o que eles estão fazendo, as grandes abominações que a casa de Israel comete aqui, para me fazer ir longe do meu santuário? Agora vire novamente, você verá maiores abominações. ”
Deus é provocado a tal ponto que decidiu ir “ para longe ” de Seu santuário.
Quando Deus fala dessa maneira, é fácil acreditar que somos criados à Sua imagem.
Seus servos sentem o mesmo quando o povo de Deus que Deus lhes confiou sucumbiu a adorar em idólatras, altares politeístas que são hostis à adoração do Deus único e verdadeiro, que é expresso através da Santíssima Trindade.
Os crentes devem se apropriar de provocar os servos de Deus.
Êxodo 23:20 “ Eis que envio um anjo diante de ti para mantê-lo no caminho e trazê-lo para o lugar que eu preparei. 21 Cuidado com Ele e obedeça à Sua voz; não o provoque, pois Ele não perdoará suas transgressões; pois meu nome está nele. 22 Mas se você realmente obedecer à voz dele e fizer tudo o que eu falo, serei um inimigo para seus inimigos e um adversário para seus adversários. 23 Porque o meu anjo irá adiante de ti e o levará aos amorreus, hititas, perizeus, cananeus, heveus e jebuseus; e eu vou cortá-los. 24 Não te curvaras aos seus deuses, nem os servis, nem fazes conforme as suas obras; mas os derrubarás completamente e derrubarás completamente seus pilares sagrados.
A retrospectiva determinará como nos relacionamos com a reconstrução de um Segundo Templo que não possui a Arca de Deus ( a Presença interna ( Shekinah ), o peso, esplendor e majestade da Glória de Deus.
Por exemplo ….. Os judeus que retornam e os estudiosos do Antigo Testamento podem se referir a este templo como o templo de Zorobabel
Os cidadãos da região podem se referir ao templo simplesmente como o segundo templo
Os que viviam durante o tempo de Herodes, rei da Judéia designado por Roma, teriam se referido ao templo como o templo de Herodes
Jesus, que iniciou seu ministério durante o reinado de Herodes, teria se referido ao templo como o templo da raposa
Essa percepção teria sido compartilhada por Seus discípulos que caminharam com Jesus naquela época. A retrospectiva revelará sistemas operacionais “ Herodianos ” nas estruturas de liderança atuais.
Jesus disse aos fariseus ……..
Lucas 13:32 E disse-lhes: “ Vai, diz a essa raposa: Eis que expulso demônios e faço curas hoje e amanhã, e no terceiro dia serei aperfeiçoado. ‘
Foi exatamente isso que Jesus pensou em Herodes. Jesus estava operando na linha do tempo de seu pai e de acordo com o mandato de seu pai. Herodes tentou tratar Jesus como um violador comum das leis mosaicas que permitia a Herodes emitir ameaças de morte. Em retrospectiva, Herodes não é uma única pessoa, mas é representativo de um principado que procura abortar a demonstração do amor e desejo de Deus pela salvação e redenção da humanidade. Jesus veio para morrer e a morte ocorreria na cruz. Herodes fazia parte do plano de Deus na jornada de Jesus ’ para a cruz.
Jesus também se referiu ao Segundo Templo como um covil ( na ausência da Glória de Deus Shekinah, o Templo pode se tornar uma habitação para raposas )
Essa é uma progressão e conseqüência natural quando a Glória de Deus deixa o Templo ( Casa do Pai )
As “raposas” eram realmente chacais? A mesma palavra hebraica pode ser usada de forma intercambiável para uma raposa ou um chacal. Eles pertencem à família “ Canidae ” ( Referência britannica.com )
A referência de Jesus a Herodes como uma raposa está diretamente relacionada à profecia de Jeremias ……
Jeremias 9:11 “ Farei de Jerusalém um monte de ruínas, um covil de chacais. Farei as cidades de Judá desoladas, sem habitante. ”
Podemos ler os capítulos 8, 9 e 10 de Ezequiel para obter uma lista abrangente das abominações do povo de Deus.
A RETROSPECTIVA NOS INFORMA QUE CRISTO É A RADIÂNCIA DA GLÓRIA DO PAI QUE VEIO NA CARNE E DESENHO ENTRE OS HOMENS. CRISTO É O IMPRINTO PERFEITO DA ESSÊNCIA DO PAI
Todos os nossos esforços de construção do espiritual, o templo sagrado se relaciona com a construção do crente para levar e revelar a glória do Senhor que foi dada aos discípulos do Senhor para permitir que eles funcionem em um mundo que está coberto de trevas profundas e também para revelar sua unidade. ( João 17:22 )
Efésios 2:21, em quem todo o edifício, sendo montado, cresce em um templo sagrado no Senhor, 22 em quem vocês também estão sendo construídos juntos para uma morada de Deus no Espírito.

Hebreus 1: 3, que são o brilho de Sua glória e a imagem expressa de Sua pessoa, e sustentam todas as coisas pela palavra de Seu poder, quando Ele mesmo expurgou nossos pecados, sentou-se à direita da Majestade no alto ( Nova versão do rei James )
Hebreus 1: 3 Este Filho é o esplendor da Sh’khinah, a própria expressão da essência de Deus, sustentando tudo o que existe por sua poderosa palavra; e depois que ele fez, através de si mesmo, purificação pelos pecados, ele se sentou à direita de HaG’dulah BaM’romim. ( Bíblia Judaica Completa )
Os discípulos do Senhor recebem a Glória porque mantiveram Sua Palavra e suportaram a perseguição e o ódio do mundo. A Glória traz imunidade divina para resistir à perseguição, pois nos constituímos no remanescente do Senhor, representando Sua essência, o brilho de Seu esplendor.
Jesus informa os fariseus
Mateus 12: 6 No entanto, digo-lhe que neste lugar há um maior que o templo.
A MANIFESTAÇÃO DA GLÓRIA ATRAVÉS DE JESUS
João 1:14 E o Verbo se fez carne e habitou entre nós, e vimos Sua glória, a glória do unigênito do Pai, cheia de graça e verdade.
Temos que ativar o processo de descentralização para que toda a terra seja preenchida com o conhecimento da glória do Senhor
Isso foi prometido pelo Profeta Isaías ……
Isaías 60: 1 Levanta-te, brilha; Pois a tua luz chegou!E a glória do Senhor se levantou sobre você. 2 Pois eis que as trevas cobrirão a terra, e trevas profundas o povo; Mas o Senhor se levantará sobre ti, e a sua glória será vista sobre ti. 3 Os gentios virão à tua luz, e reis ao brilho da tua ressurreição.
No meio da ESCURIDÃO PROFUNDA a manifestação visível da Glória de Deus será revelada através dos discípulos do Senhor.
Uma palavra de encorajamento para os discípulos do Senhor
Romanos 8:18 Pois considero que os sofrimentos deste tempo presente não são dignos de serem comparados com a glória que será revelada em nós.
OS EVENTOS QUE RODEIAM À PARTIDA DA GLÓRIA DE DEUS
Vamos agora sentar e aplicar retrospectivamente para examinar os eventos que cercam a partida da Glória de Deus Shekinah que habitava entre os querubins
Depois que a fundação do Segundo Templo foi lançada, houve um som misto na celebração da dedicação, os sacerdotes e os levitas e os chefes das casas dos pais ’, velhos que viram o primeiro templo podem ter grandes expectativas, mas acabaram chorando …..
Ninguém conseguia entender por que esses velhos estavam chorando no meio do que deveria ser um momento incrível no processo de restauração do templo
APESAR DA DEMONSTRAÇÃO FÍSICA DE UNIDADE EM JERUSALÉM – AINDA HAVIA UMA NOTÁVEL AUSÊNCIA DA GLÓRIA DE DEUS
As escrituras afirmam que, quando chegou o sétimo mês, os filhos de Israel estavam nas cidades, o povo se reuniu como um homem em Jerusalém.
Esdras 3:12 Mas muitos dos sacerdotes, levitas e chefes dos pais ’ casas, velhos que viram o primeiro templo, chorou com uma voz alta quando a fundação deste templo foi colocada diante de seus olhos. No entanto, muitos gritaram em voz alta por alegria, 13 para que o povo não pudesse discernir o barulho do grito de alegria pelo barulho do choro do povo, pois as pessoas gritavam com um grito alto, e o som era ouvido de longe.

Esses velhos sabiam como Deus havia liderado Seu povo no deserto
Êxodo 40:34 Então a nuvem cobriu o tabernáculo da revelação, e a glória do SENHOR encheu o tabernáculo. 35 E Moisés não pôde entrar no tabernáculo da revelação, porque a nuvem repousava sobre ela, e a glória do Senhor encheu o tabernáculo.
Esses velhos sabiam da glória que encheu o templo de Salomão …
2 Crônicas 7: 1 Quando Salomão terminou de orar, desceu fogo do céu e consumiu o holocausto e os sacrifícios; e a glória do Senhor encheu o templo. 2 E os sacerdotes não puderam entrar na casa do SENHOR, porque a glória do SENHOR encheu a casa do SENHOR. 3 Quando todos os filhos de Israel viram como desceu o fogo e a glória do Senhor no templo, inclinaram o rosto para o chão na calçada, e adorou e louvou ao Senhor, dizendo: “ Porque ele é bom, porque a sua misericórdia dura para sempre. ” 4 Então o rei e todo o povo ofereceram sacrifícios perante o Senhor.
No entanto, durante a dedicação e celebração para a fundação do Templo, houve a notável ausência da Glória de Deus Shekinah
A retrospectiva nos informará, nos dias atuais, que a escuridão profunda global tem que abrir caminho para o brilho, a superação e o esplendor da glória de Deus SHEKINAH que apareceria através dos discípulos do Senhor como eles declare Sua Palavra que dissiparia a escuridão!
DEUS É UM DEUS CIUMENTO
Deus não terceirizará a governança de Seu povo para nações pagãs. Durante o tempo do templo de Salomão, o povo de Deus estava sob o governo de Deus e de Suas Leis. Israel era uma teocracia. A aliança que Deus estabeleceu no Sinai visa produzir um povo que foi governado pelas leis de Deus sob uma liderança chamada e sancionada por Deus
Êxodo 20: 3 “ Você não terá outros deuses diante de mim. 4 “ Você não deve fazer para si uma imagem esculpida — qualquer semelhança com qualquer coisa que esteja no céu acima, ou que esteja na terra abaixo, ou que está na água debaixo da terra; 5 não te encurvarás a eles nem os servirá. Pois eu, o SENHOR, teu Deus, sou um Deus ciumento, visitando a iniqüidade dos pais sobre os filhos até a terceira e quarta gerações daqueles que me odeiam, 6 mas mostrando misericórdia a milhares, àqueles que me amam e guardam os meus mandamentos.
Jeremias 30:22 ‘ Você será meu povo, e eu serei seu Deus. ’ ”
Jesus encapsula as exigências de Deus na Nova Aliança
Mateus 22:37 Jesus lhe disse: “ ‘ Amarás o SENHOR, teu Deus, com todo o teu coração, com toda a tua alma e com toda a tua mente. ’ 38 Este é o primeiro e grande mandamento.
Basicamente, as escrituras afirmam que o Senhor não competirá pelos afetos e lealdade de Seu povo.
Se examinarmos a declaração de Paulo em sua carta aos romanos …..
O apóstolo Paulo está vivendo da Glória de Deus – Cristo Nele, a Esperança da Glória
Paulo se refere a si mesmo como um servo de Cristo, em outras palavras, Paulo está acorrentado à Glória do Pai
No entanto, ele se declarou “ um homem miserável ”
Romanos 7:24 Ó homem miserável que eu sou! Quem me livrará deste corpo de morte? 25 Agradeço a Deus — por Jesus Cristo, nosso Senhor!
Paulo viveu uma vida totalmente consagrada, mas se declarou um homem “miserável”. Quando somos servos da Glória de Deus, do brilho brilhante da marca exata de Deus ….,.
Só podemos declarar como Paulo …. ” homem miserável que eu sou ”
Quando funcionamos do esplendor e do brilho de Sua Glória, nossa própria justiça aparecerá como trapos imundos para Deus e para nós mesmos.
O povo de Deus se torna o vassalo da liderança pagã
Durante o período do Segundo Templo, o povo de Deus foi submetido ao governo estrangeiro de persas, gregos e romanos.
Os governadores romanos permitiram que a ilegalidade reinasse. Sabemos do ataque assírio e do cerco de Jerusalém e do povo de Deus.
Os sumos sacerdotes formaram suas próprias milícias e regimes do templo para exercer um controle firme sobre o templo
RESPONSABILIDADE DOS PASTORES DO SENHOR
João 10:11 “ Eu sou o bom pastor. O bom pastor dá a vida pelas ovelhas. 12 Mas quem não é pastor, quem não possui as ovelhas, vê o lobo chegando e deixa as ovelhas e foge; e o lobo pega as ovelhas e as espalha. 13 O mercenário foge porque é um mercenário e não se importa com as ovelhas.
Os líderes não são donos das ovelhas, mas certamente são responsáveis por elas. Não devemos fugir ao ver o lobo; somos chamados a defender e proteger as ovelhas dos lobos e outros predadores.
Se examinarmos todas as abominações cometidas pelo povo de Deus que Ezequiel foi mostrado, concluímos que o problema abrangente que Deus tinha com Seu povo era simplesmente uma questão de seus corações.
Isso é verdade hoje, como era há milhares de anos atrás.
Jesus se refere às declarações de Isaías quando se dirigiu aos escribas e fariseus

Esdras avaliou a situação e resolveu em seu coração buscar o Senhor
Esdras 7:10 Porque Esdras preparou o seu coração para buscar a Lei do Senhor, e para fazê-lo, e para ensinar estatutos e ordenanças em Israel.
Esdras reconheceu a terrível necessidade de o povo se reconectar à Palavra do Senhor. Nos dias atuais, nestes tempos perigosos, os crentes precisam retornar à doutrina
Precisamos ser lembrados das coisas que importam para Deus; coisas que podem nos ajudar a crescer em uma morada de Deus no Espírito.
A RESTAURAÇÃO DAS ARTIGOS DE OURO E DE PRATA NO TEMPLO NÃO FEZ O RETORNO DA GLÓRIA DE DEUS
Alguns observadores podem ter pensado que os velhos, sacerdotes e levitas e chefes das casas dos pais ’ estavam chorando por causa da ausência dos artigos de ouro e prata.
Todos esses artigos foram recuperados e trazidos de volta.
Esdras 6: 5 Também deixem os artigos de ouro e prata da casa de Deus, que Nabucodonosor tirou do templo que está em Jerusalém e trouxe para Babilônia, ser restaurado e levado de volta ao templo que fica em Jerusalém, cada um em seu lugar; e depositá-los na casa de Deus ” —
A Glória de Deus Shekinah se foi. Não tem nada a ver com a exibição opulenta de ouro e prata. O povo de Deus levou Deus ao ponto de Ele deixar o Templo feito com mãos humanas.
Jeremiah 9:23 Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; 24 But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD. 25 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “that I will punish all who are circumcised with the uncircumcised— 26 Egypt, Judah, Edom, the people of Ammon, Moab, and all who are in the farthest corners, who dwell in the wilderness. For all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.”
The Lord is declaring through His prophet that all humanity will experience Divine judgement. The circumcision that the Lord is demanding in this season is the circumcision of the heart.
Specific references are made to the pillars that natural man has built his life on; these have become the standards of measurement of success on the earth, standards by which natural man would rank himself.
Yet there is a resounding lamentation from heaven that nations, circumcised or uncircumcised, may have lost sight of the demand of “knowing Him”.
Believers are expected to prosper in “all things” without neglecting the prosperity of the soul.
3 John 1:1 The Elder, To the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth: 2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
The apostle John recommends Gaius for not deviating from the truth; that, for John there is no greater joy than to see his spiritual sons walking in the truth. The Lord has observed that His people have strayed from the truth because they have not prioritised “knowing the Immutable God”. We have become distracted by pursuing and glorying in the earthly riches and wealth; in our own stature, strength and influence; in our natural wisdom that comes from below.
Like I said, this is the fruit of our quest for dominion on the earth. However, God has noted that “understanding and knowing Him” has been sacrificed at the altar of man’s personal advancement in the things of this world.
This is the message from God brought by His prophet Jeremiah …….
Jeremiah 9: 24 But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD.
The Word of God is the revelation of who God is. His character and His essence, the things that please and displease God are all enshrined in His Word. If we want to know about the IMMUTABLE GOD just study His Word
Psalms 40:7 Then I said, “Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me.
Hebrews 10:7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—In the volume of the book it is written of Me— To do Your will, O God.’ ”
Although Job may have been considered by God to be blameless, upright, fearing God and avoiding evil – he failed to recognise the limitations and frailties imposed on his human construct to “understand and knowing God”.
The friends of Job clearly had no clue concerning his condition and advised what most pious believers would default to – divine retribution. Although we know that the scriptures do support the doctrine of divine retribution, yet the Apostle Paul would include in his writing on “knowing Him”, the fellowship of His sufferings. Paul desired more than an academic knowledge of God through the scriptures; Paul wanted the total experience of knowing Christ by also partaking of His sufferings, experiencing His own Garden of Gethsemane moments…. of carrying his Cross.
The believer’s suffering must be for the “sake of righteousness” (Matthew 5:10)
Philippians 3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Job 22:4 “Is it because of your fear of Him that He corrects you, And enters into judgment with you?5 Is not your wickedness great, And your iniquity without end? 6 For you have taken pledges from your brother for no reason, And stripped the naked of their clothing. 7 You have not given the weary water to drink, And you have withheld bread from the hungry. 8 But the mighty man possessed the land, And the honorable man dwelt in it. 9 You have sent widows away empty, And the strength of the fatherless was crushed. 10 Therefore snares are all around you, And sudden fear troubles you,
God would remind Job of exactly who He is. Crisis and tribulation often diminishes our understanding of God and “knowing Him”. God reinforces His image as “Creator Almighty” in the mind of Job when He reminds Job of His supernatural creative capacity. This knowledge of Him is a resource that causes a believer to strengthen himself during times of crisis. Knowing God energises and emboldens the believer during difficult times.
Job 38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said: 2 “Who is this who darkens counsel by words without knowledge? 3 Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me. 4 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. 5 Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? 6 To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, 7 When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?8 “Or who shut in the sea with doors, When it burst forth and issued from the womb; 9 When I made the clouds its garment, And thick darkness its swaddling band; 10 When I fixed My limit for it, And set bars and doors; 11 When I said, ‘This far you may come, but no farther, And here your proud waves must stop!’
The same principle of “knowing” applies in any relationship
Paul told his spiritual son Timothy …..
2 Timothy 3:10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, 11 persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.
Timothy is referred to as a like minded son because he knows not only the doctrine of Paul, but the history of his sufferings for the sake of the gospel.

Jeremias 9:23-26 Assim diz o Senhor: “Não se glorie o sábio em sua sabedoria nem o forte em sua força nem o rico em sua riqueza, mas quem se gloriar, glorie-se nisto: em compreender-me e conhecer-me, pois eu sou o Senhor, e ajo com lealdade, com justiça e com retidão sobre a terra, pois é dessas coisas que me agrado”, declara o Senhor. “Vêm chegando os dias”, declara o Senhor, “em que castigarei todos os que são circuncidados apenas no corpo, como também o Egito, Judá, Edom, Amom, Moabe e todos os que rapam a cabeça e vivem no deserto; porque todas essas nações são incircuncisas, e a comunidade de Israel tem o coração obstinado. “
O Senhor está declarando por meio de Seu profeta que toda a humanidade experimentará o julgamento divino. A circuncisão que o Senhor está exigindo nesta época é a circuncisão do coração.
São feitas referências específicas aos pilares sobre os quais o homem natural construiu sua vida; estes se tornaram os padrões de medição do sucesso na terra, padrões pelos quais o homem natural se classificaria.
No entanto, há uma lamentação retumbante do céu de que as nações, circuncidadas ou incircuncidadas, podem ter perdido de vista a exigência de “conhecê-lo”.
Espera-se que os crentes prosperem em “todas as áreas” sem negligenciar a prosperidade da alma.
3 João 1:1-4 O presbítero ao amado Gaio, a quem amo na verdade. Amado, oro para que você tenha boa saúde e tudo lhe corra bem, assim como vai bem a sua alma. Muito me alegrei ao receber a visita de alguns irmãos que falaram a respeito da sua fidelidade, de como você continua andando na verdade. Não tenho alegria maior do que ouvir que meus filhos estão andando na verdade.
O apóstolo João recomenda Gaio para não se desviar da verdade; que, para João, não há maior alegria do que ver seus filhos espirituais andando na verdade. O Senhor observou que Seu povo se desviou da verdade porque não priorizaram “conhecer o Deus imutável”. Nós nos distraímos perseguindo e nos gloriando nas riquezas terrenas; em nossa própria estatura, força e influência; em nossa sabedoria natural que vem de baixo.
Como eu disse, este é o fruto de nossa busca pelo domínio sobre a terra. No entanto, Deus observou que “entender e conhecê-lo” foi sacrificado no altar do progresso pessoal do homem nas coisas deste mundo.
Esta é a mensagem de Deus trazida por Seu profeta Jeremias…….

A Palavra de Deus é a revelação de quem Deus é. Seu caráter e Sua essência, as coisas que agradam e desagradam a Deus estão todas consagradas em Sua Palavra. Se quisermos saber sobre o DEUS IMUTÁVEL, basta estudar Sua Palavra
Salmos 40:7 Então eu disse: Aqui estou! No livro está escrito a meu respeito.
Hebreus 10:7 Então eu disse: Aqui estou, no livro está escrito a meu respeito; vim para fazer a tua vontade, ó Deus.
Embora Jó possa ter sido considerado por Deus como irrepreensível, reto, temendo a Deus e evitando o mal – ele falhou em reconhecer as limitações e fragilidades impostas à sua construção humana de “entender e conhecer a Deus”.
Os amigos de Jó claramente não tinham a menor ideia sobre sua condição e aconselharam o que a maioria dos crentes piedosos faria – retribuição divina. Embora saibamos que as escrituras apoiam a doutrina da retribuição divina, ainda assim o apóstolo Paulo incluiria em seus escritos sobre “conhecê-lo” a comunhão de seus sofrimentos. Paulo desejava mais do que um conhecimento acadêmico de Deus através das escrituras; Paulo queria a experiência total de conhecer a Cristo participando também de Seus sofrimentos, experimentando seus próprios momentos no Jardim do Getsêmani…. de carregar sua cruz.
O sofrimento do crente deve ser “por causa da justiça” (Mateus 5:10)
Filipenses 3:10 Quero conhecer a Cristo, ao poder da sua ressurreição e à participação em seus sofrimentos, tornando-me como ele em sua morte

Jó 22:4-10 “É por sua piedade que ele o repreende e lhe faz acusações? Não é grande a sua maldade? Não são infindos os seus pecados? Sem motivo você exigia penhores dos seus irmãos; você despojava das roupas os que quase nenhuma tinham. Você não deu água ao sedento e reteve a comida do faminto, sendo você poderoso, e dono de terras, delas vivendo, e honrado diante de todos. Você mandou embora de mãos vazias as viúvas e quebrou a força dos órfãos. Por isso está cercado de armadilhas e o perigo repentino o apavora.
Deus lembraria a Jó exatamente quem Ele é. Crises e tribulações muitas vezes diminuem nossa compreensão de Deus e “conhecê-lo”. Deus reforça Sua imagem como “Criador Todo-Poderoso” na mente de Jó quando Ele lembra a Jó de Sua capacidade criativa sobrenatural. Esse conhecimento Dele é um recurso que faz com que o crente se fortaleça em tempos de crise. Conhecer a Deus energiza e encoraja o crente em tempos difíceis.
Jó 38:1-11 Então o Senhor respondeu a Jó do meio da tempestade. Disse ele: “Quem é esse que obscurece o meu conselho com palavras sem conhecimento? Prepare-se como simples homem; vou fazer-lhe perguntas, e você me responderá. “Onde você estava quando lancei os alicerces da terra? Responda-me, se é que você sabe tanto. Quem marcou os limites das suas dimensões? Vai ver que você sabe! E quem estendeu sobre ela a linha de medir? E as suas bases, sobre o que foram postas? E quem colocou sua pedra de esquina, enquanto as estrelas matutinas juntas cantavam e todos os anjos se regozijavam? “Quem represou o mar pondo-lhe portas, quando ele irrompeu do ventre materno, quando o vesti de nuvens e em densas trevas o envolvi, quando fixei os seus limites e lhe coloquei portas e barreiras, quando eu lhe disse: Até aqui você pode vir, além deste ponto não, aqui faço parar suas ondas orgulhosas?
O mesmo princípio de “saber” se aplica a qualquer relacionamento
Paulo disse a seu filho espiritual Timóteo…
2 Timóteo 3:10-11 Mas você tem seguido de perto o meu ensino, a minha conduta, o meu propósito, a minha fé, a minha paciência, o meu amor, a minha perseverança, as perseguições e os sofrimentos que enfrentei, coisas que me aconteceram em Antioquia, Icônio e Listra. Quanta perseguição suportei! Mas, de todas essas coisas o Senhor me livrou!
Timóteo é referido como um filho de mentalidade semelhante porque ele conhece não apenas a doutrina de Paulo, mas a história de seus sofrimentos por causa do evangelho.
Although the essential characteristics of the nature of God like righteousness (includes holiness (includes His wrath), truth, mercy, love etc. do not change, God can be persuaded to change His mind concerning some of His decisions through acts of repentance, Godly sorrow, intercessory prayers and supplications. We will discuss some Biblical examples in this study.
GOD’S FRUSTRATION WITH HIS PEOPLE IN THE WILDERNESS
God was persuaded to change His mind concerning His decisions when Moses interceded and appealed to God using the Word of God. God will not violate His own covenantal promises, especially in the sight of the Egyptians, the captors of His people. God was extremely angry with His people and in His wrath He wanted to consume them. Although God promised to make Moses a great nation, Moses prioritised the safety of God’s people and the reputation of God above His personal advancement. Through Moses’ appealing to God He relented from doing them any harm.
Exodus 32:9 And the LORD said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and indeed it is a stiff-necked people! 10 Now therefore, let Me alone, that My wrath may burn hot against them and I may consume them. And I will make of you a great nation.” 11 Then Moses pleaded with the LORD his God, and said: “LORD, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? 12 Why should the Egyptians speak, and say, ‘He brought them out to harm them, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth’? Turn from Your fierce wrath, and relent from this harm to Your people. 13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your own self, and said to them, I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven; and all this land that I have spoken of I give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.’ ” 14 So the LORD relented from the harm which He said He would do to His people.
GOD RESPONDS TO THE REPENTANCE OF THE PEOPLE OF NINEVEH
John 6:28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
Jonah 1:1 Now the word of the LORD came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, 2 “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.”
God’s decided to overthrow Nineveh because of its great wickedness. However, when the entire population and their king believed the Word of God in the mouth of Jonah, and they repented, fasted and put on sackcloth and cried out to God …… God relented. God was persuaded by the response of the king and the inhabitants of Nineveh to His Word in the mouth of His servant.
Jonah 3:10 Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.
GOD RELENTS FROM TOTALLY DESTROYING JERUSALEM AND HIS PEOPLE
God changed His mind about destroying Jerusalem and it’s people because of David’s foolishness of counting the people in a census which was against the law.
2 Samuel 24:16 And when the angel stretched out His hand over Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD relented from the destruction, and said to the angel who was destroying the people, “It is enough; now restrain your hand.” And the angel of the LORD was by the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite. 17 Then David spoke to the LORD when he saw the angel who was striking the people, and said, “Surely I have sinned, and I have done wickedly; but these sheep, what have they done? Let Your hand, I pray, be against me and against my father’s house.”
After David repented and paid for the threshing floor of Araunah and he built an altar there, God relented and the plague was stopped
2 Samuel 24:24 Then the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God with that which costs me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. 25 And David built there an altar to the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel.
GOD CHANGES HIS MIND CONCERNING THE DEATH OF KING HEZEKIAH
A prophetic Word from God concerning the impending death of King Hezekiah released by Isaiah the prophet
2 Kings 20: 1 In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.’ ”
Hezekiah begins to pray and remind God of all his labours in the reformation of the ways and the culture of the people of God; his reminded God of his loyalty and doing what was good and righteous in accordance to the ways of King David.
2 Kings 20:3 “Remember now, O LORD, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
God relents. He heals Hezekiah and God promised to defend Hezekiah and the city for the sake of His own reputation and for the sake of David against the Assyrian regime.
2 Kings 20:5 “Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD. 6 And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.” ’

DEUS É IMUTÁVEL PARTE 2
Embora as características essenciais da natureza de Deus como justiça (inclui santidade, inclui Sua ira), verdade, misericórdia, amor etc. tristeza, orações intercessoras e súplicas. Vamos discutir alguns exemplos bíblicos neste estudo.
A FRUSTRAÇÃO DE DEUS COM SEU POVO NO DESERTO
Deus foi persuadido a mudar de ideia a respeito de Suas decisões quando Moisés intercedeu e apelou a Deus usando a Palavra de Deus. Deus não violará Suas próprias promessas da aliança, especialmente aos olhos dos egípcios, os captores de Seu povo. Deus estava extremamente zangado com Seu povo e em Sua ira Ele queria consumi-los. Embora Deus tenha prometido fazer de Moisés uma grande nação, Moisés priorizou a segurança do povo de Deus e a reputação de Deus acima de Seu progresso pessoal. Por meio do apelo de Moisés a Deus, Ele cedeu em fazer-lhes qualquer mal.
Êxodo 32:9-14 Disse o Senhor a Moisés: “Tenho visto que este povo é um povo obstinado. Deixe-me agora, para que a minha ira se acenda contra eles, e eu os destrua. Depois farei de você uma grande nação”. Moisés, porém, suplicou ao Senhor, o seu Deus, clamando: “Ó Senhor, por que se acenderia a tua ira contra o teu povo, que tiraste do Egito com grande poder e forte mão? Por que diriam os egípcios: ‘Foi com intenção maligna que ele os libertou, para matá-los nos montes e bani-los da face da terra’? Arrepende-te do fogo da tua ira! Tem piedade, e não tragas este mal sobre o teu povo! Lembra-te dos teus servos Abraão, Isaque e Israel, aos quais juraste por ti mesmo: ‘Farei que os seus descendentes sejam numerosos como as estrelas do céu e lhes darei toda esta terra que lhes prometi, que será a sua herança para sempre’ “. E sucedeu que o Senhor arrependeu-se do mal que ameaçara trazer sobre o povo.
DEUS RESPONDE AO ARREPENDIMENTO DO POVO DE NÍNIVE
João 6:28-29 Então lhe perguntaram: “O que precisamos fazer para realizar as obras que Deus requer? ” Jesus respondeu: “A obra de Deus é esta: crer naquele que ele enviou”.
Jonas 1:1-2 palavra do Senhor veio a Jonas, filho de Amitai com esta ordem: “Vá depressa à grande cidade de Nínive e pregue contra ela, porque a sua maldade subiu até a minha presença”.
Deus decidiu derrubar Nínive por causa de sua grande maldade. No entanto, quando toda a população e seu rei creram na Palavra de Deus na boca de Jonas, e se arrependeram, jejuaram, vestiram-se de pano de saco e clamaram a Deus… Deus cedeu. Deus foi persuadido pela resposta do rei e dos habitantes de Nínive à Sua Palavra na boca de Seu servo.
Jonas 3:10 Deus viu o que eles fizeram e como abandonaram os seus maus caminhos. Então Deus se arrependeu e não os destruiu como tinha ameaçado.
DEUS SE ARREPENDE DE DESTRUIR TOTALMENTE JERUSALÉM E SEU POVO
Deus mudou de ideia sobre destruir Jerusalém e seu povo por causa da tolice de Davi de contar as pessoas em um censo que era contra a lei.
2 Samuel 24:16-17 Quando o anjo estendeu a mão para destruir Jerusalém, o Senhor arrependeu-se de trazer essa catástrofe, e ele disse ao anjo destruidor: “Pare! Já basta! ” Naquele momento o anjo do Senhor estava perto da eira de Araúna, o jebuseu.
Ao ver o anjo que estava matando o povo, disse Davi ao Senhor: “Fui eu que pequei e cometi iniquidade. Estes não passam de ovelhas. O que eles fizeram? Que o teu castigo caia sobre mim e sobre a minha família! “
Depois que Davi se arrependeu e pagou a eira de Araúna e construiu um altar lá, Deus cedeu e a praga foi interrompida
2 Samuel 24:24-25 Mas o rei respondeu a Araúna: “Não! Faço questão de pagar o preço justo. Não oferecerei ao Senhor meu Deus holocaustos que não me custem nada”. Davi comprou, pois, a eira e os bois por cinquenta peças de prata. E Davi edificou ali um altar ao Senhor e ofereceu holocaustos e sacrifícios de comunhão. Então o Senhor aceitou as súplicas em favor da terra, e a praga parou de destruir Israel.
DEUS MUDOU DE MENTE SOBRE A MORTE DO REI EZEQUIAS
Uma palavra profética de Deus sobre a morte iminente do Rei Ezequias, divulgada pelo profeta Isaías
2 Reis 20:1 Naquele tempo Ezequias ficou doente, e quase morreu. O profeta Isaías, filho de Amoz, foi visitá-lo e lhe disse: “Assim diz o Senhor: Ponha em ordem a sua casa, pois você vai morrer; não se recuperará”.
Ezequias começa a orar e lembrar a Deus de todos os seus trabalhos na reforma dos caminhos e da cultura do povo de Deus; ele lembrou a Deus de sua lealdade e de fazer o que era bom e justo de acordo com os caminhos do rei Davi.
2 Reis 20:3 “Lembra-te, Senhor, como tenho te servido com fidelidade e com devoção sincera. Tenho feito o que tu aprovas”. E Ezequias chorou amargamente.
Deus cede. Ele cura Ezequias e Deus prometeu defender Ezequias e a cidade por causa de Sua própria reputação e por causa de Davi contra o regime assírio.
2 Reis 20:5-6 “Volte e diga a Ezequias, líder do meu povo: ‘Assim diz o Senhor, Deus de Davi, seu predecessor: Ouvi sua oração e vi suas lágrimas; eu o curarei. Daqui a três dias você subirá ao templo do Senhor. Acrescentarei quinze anos à sua vida. E livrarei você e esta cidade das mãos do rei da Assíria. Defenderei esta cidade por causa de mim mesmo e do meu servo Davi’”.
Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob. 7 Yet from the days of your fathers You have gone away from My ordinances And have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” Says the LORD of hosts. “But you said, ‘In what way shall we return?’
The people of God have a history of periodically violating the ordinances and Word of the Lord by embracing the idolatrous practices of surrounding nations. This practice continues to this present day. The essence of the nature of God never changes. Just to name a few essential attributes of God …..
• God will always be righteous • God will always be Holy (the wrath of God flows from this attribute ) • God will always keep His covenantal promises • His Word stands firm forever, even though heaven and earth may pass away • His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations.
These immutable attributes of God (some of them) provide an unshakeable foundation of our faith in Christ. Our belief system and our confidence is rooted and invested in the unchanging essence of who God is. Christ Jesus is the Perfect representation of the immutable nature of the Father and He remains the believer’s ultimate standard for representation
We must understand this position clearly. Although God is immutable in His essence, the way He does things is subject to His Sovereign will. However, they will not violate the essence of His nature. From this we gather that it does not matter
• how many times the cloud moves • How many times seasons change • How many times wineskins are changed • Proceeding revelation received from the Lord carried by the Holy Spirit
Changes must pass through the filters of the characteristic features of His unchanging nature like righteousness and holiness.
The essential characteristics of God are not influenced by what is trending in society or that which is going viral on the earth. They do not change because they would help believers to be better aligned and relevant to the progress and the advancement of natural man.
God does not change who He is to accommodate the apostasy of the people of God. In a world that is constantly changing and evolving away from the image of God, believers need to be harnessed and anchored to the immutable nature of the Rock, Christ Jesus.
David explains this reality in his psalms.
Psalms 2: 1 Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, 3 “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.” 4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. 5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: 6 “Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.”
It is an exercise in futility to plot against God and His anointed. Although this primarily refers to Abba Father and His Son Jesus, it also represents the Lord and His anointed king David in Zion; it further represents the Lord and His church that represents His image, especially His immutable nature.
All principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this age, and spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places are engaged in deceitful plotting and are taking counsel together to infiltrate, disrupt and destroy covenantal relationships and associations.
The Lord informed Saul that it is a futile exercise to persecute the Lord and His anointed. The One who sits in the heavens shall laugh. After laughing, the filters of His righteousness will determine His response …..
“He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure”
Acts 9:4 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” 5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”
This is equally true in the case of entire nations who choose to rebel against God and His anointed. The kings and rulers of the earth have positioned themselves against the Lord and His anointed with the purpose of aborting the demand to conform to the original Divine standard and image. This is their intention :
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.”
Here are the latest reports of persecution gleaned from the report by Open Doors USA 2022 World Watch List Period : October 2020-September 2021.
• Over 360 million Christians living in places where they experience high levels of persecution and discrimination • 5,898 Christians killed for their faith • 5,110 churches and other Christian buildings attacked • 4,765 believers detained without trial, arrested, sentenced or imprisoned
All this intimidation is to break the relationship between the Lord and His anointed To cause His people to abandon the faith in fear But His people are becoming increasingly resilient in their opposition because our trust remains in His immutable nature.
We declare …. Laugh Lord!!! And then speak to the earth from Your Holy displeasure.

Desde o tempo dos seus antepassados vocês se desviaram dos meus decretos e não os obedeceram. Voltem para mim e eu voltarei para vocês”, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos. “Mas vocês perguntam: ‘Como voltaremos? ’
O povo de Deus tem um histórico de violar periodicamente as ordenanças e a Palavra do Senhor ao abraçar as práticas idólatras das nações vizinhas. Essa prática continua até os dias de hoje. A essência da natureza de Deus nunca muda. Apenas para citar alguns atributos essenciais de Deus…
• Deus sempre será justo. e a sua verdade perdura por todas as gerações.
Esses atributos imutáveis de Deus (alguns deles) fornecem um fundamento inabalável de nossa fé em Cristo. Nosso sistema de crenças e nossa confiança estão enraizados e investidos na essência imutável de quem Deus é. Cristo Jesus é a representação Perfeita da natureza imutável do Pai e Ele continua sendo o padrão final do cristão para representação.
Devemos entender esta posição claramente. Embora Deus seja imutável em Sua essência, a maneira como Ele faz as coisas está sujeita à Sua vontade soberana. No entanto, eles não violarão a essência de Sua natureza. A partir disso, concluímos que não importa:
• Quantas vezes a nuvem se move • Quantas vezes as estações mudam • Quantas vezes os odres são trocados • Revelação procedente recebida do Senhor conduzida pelo Espírito Santo
As mudanças devem passar pelos filtros dos traços característicos de Sua natureza imutável, como justiça e santidade.
As características essenciais de Deus não são influenciadas pelo que está em alta na sociedade ou pelo que está se tornando viral na terra. Eles não mudam porque ajudariam os cristãos a serem mais alinhados e relevantes para o progresso e o avanço do homem natural.
Deus não muda quem Ele é para acomodar a apostasia do povo de Deus. Em um mundo que está constantemente mudando e evoluindo para longe da imagem de Deus, os cristãos precisam ser atrelados e ancorados à natureza imutável da Rocha, Cristo Jesus.
Davi explica essa realidade em seus salmos.
(Salmos 2:1-6) Por que se amotinam as nações e os povos tramam em vão? Os reis da terra tomam posição e os governantes conspiram unidos contra o Senhor e contra o seu ungido, e dizem: “Façamos em pedaços as suas correntes, lancemos de nós as suas algemas! ” Do seu trono nos céus o Senhor põe-se a rir e caçoa deles. Em sua ira os repreende e em seu furor os aterroriza, dizendo: “Eu mesmo estabeleci o meu rei em Sião, no meu santo monte”.
É um exercício de futilidade tramar contra Deus e Seu ungido. Embora isso se refira principalmente ao Abba Pai e Seu Filho Jesus, também representa o Senhor e Seu rei ungido Davi em Sião; representa ainda o Senhor e Sua igreja que representa Sua imagem, especialmente Sua natureza imutável.
Todos os principados, potestades, governantes das trevas desta era e hostes espirituais da maldade nos lugares celestiais estão envolvidos em tramas enganosas e estão se reunindo para se infiltrar, romper e destruir relacionamentos e associações da aliança.
O Senhor informou a Saul que é um exercício fútil perseguir o Senhor e Seu ungido. Aquele que está sentado nos céus rirá. Depois de rir, os filtros de Sua justiça determinarão Sua resposta…

Isso é igualmente verdade no caso de nações inteiras que escolhem se rebelar contra Deus e Seu ungido. Os reis e governantes da terra se posicionaram contra o Senhor e Seus ungidos com o propósito de abortar a exigência de se conformar ao padrão e imagem divinos originais. Esta é a intenção deles:

As the royal priesthood of God, I believe that the priestly dimension of our ministry has come under Divine scrutiny. God always expected his leaders to be bold and courageous to declare the truth of His Word.

When we examine the governance of King Ahaz, we note particularly the defilement, the defacement, and the dismantling of the holy, sacred things of God by King Ahaz. This king imported the architectural plans for a Syrian altar complete with multiple deities and idols and installed this altar in the court of the Temple
2 Kings 16:11 Then Urijah the priest built an altar according to all that King Ahaz had sent from Damascus. So Urijah the priest made it before King Ahaz came back from Damascus.
2 Kings 16:14 He also brought the bronze altar which was before the LORD, from the front of the temple—from between the new altar and the house of the LORD—and put it on the north side of the new altar.
2 Kings 16:16 Thus did Urijah the priest, according to all that King Ahaz commanded. 17 And King Ahaz cut off the panels of the carts, and removed the lavers from them; and he took down the Sea from the bronze oxen that were under it, and put it on a pavement of stones.
Ahaz relegated the prime position of the brazen altar from the front of the Temple to the north side.
As we know this is the first thing that confronts the worshipper when he enters the Outer Court of the Tabernacle or Temple through the Court Gate. The bronze altar is where the people presented their offerings, which included their sin offerings to God. It is the place where the offerer transfers the weight of his sin to the animal being offered. The death of the animal would bring salvation, deliverance and redemption from all sin. This ritualistic animal sacrifice is replaced by the ONE SACRIFICE of Jesus on the Cross.
The Ahaz operating system seeks to present a religious experience that excludes the Cross and keeps the worshippers captive in fear and bondage and in a permanent state of condemnation.
By relegating this altar from the front of the Temple to the north side, Ahaz obscured the view of salvation and redemption from the worshipper; ensures that the Cross remains out of sight.
Instead the worshipper was now instructed to offer his sacrofices at the altar of Syrian idols
What else did Ahaz do?
He removed the Molten Sea which was positioned on the 12 bronze oxen, 3 facing east, 3 facing west, 3 facing north, 3 facing south and he repositioned the Sea on the pavement of stones
The See is symbolic of the apostolic and governance ; the Water in the molten Sea is symbolic of the Word of God that washes and sanctifies the priests
This is a prophetic sign of unfolding events like when practices like tithing are being disputed and doctrine is being trampled upon with impunity. This is the characteristic feature of the Ahaz operating system.
All this was done in collaboration with the priest Urijah, who clearly prioritises the commands of Ahaz over the laws and statutes of God. Urijah represents an emasculated priesthood whose conscience towards God has been seared.
Urijah was the same priest who stood on the same platform as Ezra when he read the Law in the open square in front of the Water Gate, when Ezra read the Law after the wall had been built
Urijah witnessed the people shout Amen! Amen! He saw them bow to the ground and worship the Lord
Here he is now, in a state of apostasy, being faithful to a principality of evil and corruption, rather than being the voice of God to Ahaz.

Como sacerdócio real de Deus, acredito que a dimensão sacerdotal de nosso ministério está sob escrutínio divino. Deus sempre esperou que seus líderes fossem ousados e corajosos para declarar a verdade de Sua Palavra.
Que o Senhor nosso Deus fortaleça o sacerdócio atual de todos os crentes para nos tornar mais resilientes e firmes em nossa fidelidade para declarar Sua Palavra.
Quando examinamos o governo do rei Acaz, notamos particularmente a corrupção, a desfiguração e o desmantelamento das coisas sagradas e sacrossanto de Deus pelo rei Acaz. Este rei importou os planos arquitetônicos para um altar sírio completo com várias divindades e ídolos e instalou este altar no pátio do Templo
2 Reis 16:11 Então o sacerdote Urias construiu um altar conforme tudo o que o rei Acaz havia enviado de Damasco. Então Urias, o sacerdote, fez isso antes que o rei Acaz voltasse de Damasco.
2 Reis 16:14 Trouxe também o altar de bronze que estava diante do SENHOR, da frente do templo, entre o altar novo e a casa do Senhor, e o pôs ao lado norte do altar novo.
2 Reis 16:16 Assim fez o sacerdote Urias, conforme tudo o que o rei Acaz ordenara. 17 E o rei Acaz cortou as tábuas dos carros e removeu as pias deles; e tirou o mar dos bois de bronze que estavam debaixo dele, e o pôs sobre um pavimento de pedras.
Acaz relegou a posição privilegiada do altar de bronze da frente do Templo para o lado norte.
Como sabemos, esta é a primeira coisa que confronta o adorador quando ele entra no Pátio Externo do Tabernáculo ou Templo através do Portão do Pátio. O altar de bronze é onde as pessoas apresentavam suas ofertas, que incluíam suas ofertas pelo pecado a Deus. É o lugar onde o ofertante transfere o peso de seu pecado para o animal que está sendo oferecido. A morte do animal traria salvação, libertação e redenção de todo pecado. Este sacrifício animal ritualístico é substituído pelo UM SACRIFÍCIO de Jesus na Cruz.
O sistema operacional de Acaz, procura apresentar uma experiência religiosa que exclui a Cruz e mantém os adoradores cativos do medo e da escravidão e em permanente estado de condenação.
Ao relegar este altar da frente do Templo para o lado norte, Acaz obscureceu a visão de salvação e redenção do adorador; garante que a Cruz permaneça fora de vista.
Em vez disso, o adorador foi instruído a oferecer seus sacrifícios no altar dos ídolos sírios
O que mais Acaz fez?
Ele removeu o Mar Fundido que estava posicionado sobre os 12 bois de bronze, 3 voltados para o leste, 3 voltados para o oeste, 3 voltados para o norte, 3 voltados para o sul e reposicionou o mar no pavimento de pedras.
A Sé simboliza o apostolado e o governo; a Água no Mar fundido simboliza a Palavra de Deus que lava e santifica os sacerdotes.
Este é um sinal profético do desdobramento de eventos, como quando práticas como o dízimo estão sendo disputadas e a doutrina está sendo pisoteada impunemente. Esta é a característica do sistema operacional Acaz.
Tudo isso foi feito em colaboração com o sacerdote Urias, que claramente prioriza os mandamentos de Acaz sobre as leis e estatutos de Deus.
Urias representa um sacerdócio castrado cuja consciência em relação a Deus foi cauterizada. Urias era o mesmo sacerdote que estava na mesma plataforma que Esdras quando leu a Lei na praça aberta em frente ao Portão das Águas, quando Esdras leu a Lei depois que o muro foi construído.
Urias testemunhou o povo gritar Amém! Amém! Ele os viu curvar-se ao chão e adorar o Senhor.
Aqui está ele agora, em estado de apostasia, sendo fiel a um principado do mal e da corrupção, em vez de ser a voz de Deus para Acaz.
