It was a great joy to be at Lance and Santha’s wedding in Durban, South Africa last week where I had the privilege and honour of giving away the beautiful, radiant bride who is the youngest daughter of my late brother Selvan Pillay. This day would have made him really proud and I am just honoured to have filled in for him. It is an even greater joy to know that the young couple have embraced the Lord Jesus as the most important influence in their lives. To God be all glory, honour and praise.

OPEN HEAVEN APOSTOLIC CONFERENCE DURBAN SOUTH AFRICA
Posted in Uncategorized on August 5, 2010| Leave a Comment »
We have recently come out of one of the finest Conferences to be held in Durban, hosted by Dr Sagie Govender and Ap Frans du Plessis, both of whom are widely respected as fathers in the city. The level of impartation was phenomenal as the Lord unfolded apostolic strategies for nation building in this present day. The Lord spoke through the various grace carriers with great clarity. The Word has been declared! “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying”. We have to now go back and revisit and review all of our strategies for the nations that the Lord has placed in our care. We have discovered “the pearl of great price”. We now have to take ownership.
THE CHALLENGE OF MINISTRY TO A “ITCHING EAR” COMMUNITY

2 Tim 4:1-5
4:1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
The apostle Paul charges his like minded son Timothy before God and the Lord Jesus Christ. This demonstrates the ultimate level of accountability of any minister of the gospel or any son …. We are charged before God and the Lord Jesus Christ to preach the Word! Sadly there is a community out there that will only receive that which satisfies and massages its flesh; sermons that would scratch its itch. They have little interest in the truth. Utterances are rejected out of hand because they do not fit the stereotype.
Consider the young man Joseph. He dreamt that he would have oversight over his parents and his brothers. This was received by his family as outrageous, audacious, impossible. Yet it was the truth.
However his father kept the matter in mind. This should be our position. Those things that we do not fully grasp the first time ought to be stored away for further meditation.
Gen 37:10-11
10 So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” 11 And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.
Let us examine another scripture.
Luke 2:49-51
49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” 50 But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them.
51 Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all these things in her heart.
Here again the parents of Jesus the 12 year old, failed to understand his utterance. But his mother kept the matter in her heart for further meditation.
Jesus was under no obligation to appease the hearers.
This is the demand of the heavens upon the apostles in this present day.

ALBERT FALLS FELLOWSHIP

Tuesday saw us gather at the Albert Falls for the Father/Sons fellowship. We are all committed to the truth that this is the wineskin that God is presently constructing and perfecting to advance the plans of God in this season. Leaders from various households of faith gathered as a family submitting to the “fathering grace” resident in Dr Sagie and Ap Thamo. We all contributed to the discussions and there were many insightful revelations shared. We dealt with the expectations of sons of their fathers; as well as the expectations of fathers from their sons, referring to the turning of hearts prophesied by Malachi:
Mal 4:5-6
5 “See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. 6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.”
This has to come to pass….the turning of hearts for curses to break.
We all left Albert Falls with a stronger sense of purpose.

THE DREAM IS OVER

We join with fellow South Africans in congratulating Bafana Bafana for their victory against France yesterday. Sadly this victory was not enough to get them through to the next round. This does not in any way diminish our pride in this team that went down fighting. True South African spirit!

Teremos a presença do Pr.
Venha celebrar a Deus conosco!
