Mateus 19:16-22

Mas se você quiser entrar na vida eterna, cumpre os mandamentos. “18 Disse-lhe:” Quais? “Jesus disse:” Não matarás “,” Não cometerás adultério “,” não furtarás, ‘Você não levantarás falso testemunho “, 19’Honor teu pai e tua mãe’ e ‘Amarás o teu próximo como a ti mesmo’.” 20 O jovem disse-lhe: “Todas essas coisas tenho observado desde a minha juventude. O que me falta ainda “21 Respondeu-lhe Jesus:” Se você quer ser perfeito, vai, vende o que tens e dá aos pobres, e terás um tesouro no céu;?, Vem e segue-me “Mas 22. quando o jovem, ouvindo esta palavra, retirou-se contristado, porque possuía muitos bens.

O ponto central aqui é que as aparências externas e adequado observâncias religiosas não nos fará o acesso a vida eterna ou abundante. Muitos de nós pode interpretar a vida deste homem como uma “expressão exata” de Deus. A imagem e semelhança de Deus com as mãos limpas. Ele na verdade era religiosamente correto, desde os dias da sua juventude. Eu sei que muitos de nós são como este homem. Fazendo tudo certo, mas somos incapazes de entrar em uma vida vitoriosa e abundante. A questão precisa ser feita …. “O que me falta ainda?” O homem não podia suportar o pensamento de estar separado de sua riqueza. Jesus sabia exatamente o que faltava. Jesus não pediu que ele seja simplesmente generosa. Jesus lhe deu instruções para desligar totalmente do mammon e segui-Lo. Assim como o homem não poderia colocar a sua riqueza no altar, muitos de nós também estão segurando as coisas que trouxeram um espírito de falta em nossas vidas. Yesterday we dealt with the conversation between Jesus and the man who wanted to know the keys to access eternal life.

Matt 19:16-22

16 Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” 17 So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” 18 He said to Him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, ” ‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ 19’Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ” 20 The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?” 21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

The central point here is that outward appearances and appropriate religious observances will not cause us to access eternal or abundant life. Many of us may interpret this man’s life as an “exact representation” of God. The image and likeness of God with his clean hands. He in fact was religiously correct from the days of his youth. I know many of us are just like this man. Doing everything right, yet we are unable to step into a victorious, abundant life. The question needs to be asked …. “What do I still lack?” The man could not bear the thought of being separated from his wealth. Jesus knew exactly what he lacked. Jesus did not ask him to be simply generous. Jesus instructed him to disconnect totally from mammon and follow Him. Just as the man could not place his wealth on the altar, many of us are also holding on to things that have brought a spirit of lack into our lives. Great finish to 4 days of being in His Presence with a company of passionate worshippers. Sunday saw a packed out church that assembled for the ordination of Ap Oumarou. Many leaders gathered, some coming in from France. Many new alliances were forged. The message was recorded by Canal Le Vie television ….they also interviewed me regarding my views on the resurgence of Africa as a global voice. It was a very tearful farewell. Many wonderful saints. Our meetings with Bishop Dager and Ap Gedeao was also special.

Last night was simply amazing. The Presence ans the power of God accmpanied the declaration of His Word for Cameroon. This is Africa’s turn. We declared the committment of the Church in Cameroon to transition into this new season with God. We agreed as a corporate gathering that the preaching of “another gospel” has delayed and hindered the advancement of all Africans. We committed the region to a Dominion mandate which would see the restoration of all things. Some doors have now been open in Europe during these times of refreshing. To God be all Glory, Honour and Praise!

This afternoon I will be ordaining Oumarou Dobgima as an apostle. We are expecting many leaders here today from various parts of this nation. We will also ordain those who will serve with him in the local church.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there from Sheila and I. Enjoy all your gifts and the attention.

Meetings are progressing well, although it is clear that the Word of the Lord is not prioritised here. Much work needs to be done here for the Church to make the transition. As we have always maintained. a new culture has to emerge; this is only going to happen through a programme of sustained teaching. These regions cannot be left isolated. We need to send teams out here on a regular basis. Sheila ministered to the ladies today.

BISHOP DAGER FROM BRASIL

This son of mine is passionate about striving for excellence in the Kingdom of God. Just as Queen Sheba was impressed with Solomon’s palace, we were truly taken aback by the attention to detail, especially when it comes to receiving and honouring servants of God.

An attorney and his wife have been assigned to serve us. This includes carrying our things, picking us up for the meetings, generally taking care of all our needs. The extravagance of the decor, the attire of the choir, the seating arrangements for the guests. Amazing! It is therefore not surprising that the Lord showed up last night. Incredible move of His Spirit just sweeping across the place in waves of glory. I just thank God that He supports His Word.

Lunch with the Ministry Team

After seven hours of flying we finally arrived safely in Douala, Cameroon. Our sons here, Oumarou Dobgima and his family received us as dignitaries. We have been housed in a clean missionary retreat. We have a Brasilian Apostle Gedeao also ministering at this Conference. We have an interview this morning with the local radio station where we will share our perspectives on the present day demand of God. the meetings start tonight. Cameroon is one hour behind.
